I'm blown away by the new TKK Fried Chicken in downtown Berkeley on Telegraph! The crispy exterior and juicy interior are a perfect combination. If you like a bit of a kick try their spicy flavored chicken sandwich, wings, tenders or signature fried chicken. It’s a Taiwanese fried chicken place, locally owned and operated. I was lucky enough to spin the prize wheel at the grand opening and won a free year of chicken! I definitely tried a variety of their food option and with a free year of chicken I will most definitely be back 😅! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Berkeley, TKK Fried Chicken is a must-try!

Best fried chicken I ever had. Crispy, non-oily and coated with a cornucopia of well-balanced seasoning and yet juicy fried chicken. We also enjoyed the fried cheese bites, fried rice pudding and fired sweet potatoes. ly recommended this place for all fried chicken lovers. Centrally located in central Berkeley.

Fried chicken with Taiwan style spices and seasonings. The chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy inside and importantly not too salty or greasy like other places. Spicy or regular options for the fried chicken. Sweet potato fries and other sides available. The only drawback is the parking in this location is often a bit of a challenge.

The beginning of the experience was supposed to be exciting because I've been wanting to try this spot for awhile. The reviews seemed great. My wife and I went today for some fried chicken. However, we were served old cold chicken. When we told the person who worked there, he microwaved the chicken to try to warm it. That was not okay by any means. We spoke with him and he immediately apologized and called the manager on the phone. The manager spoke to me and I explained the entire ordeal. He apologized and offered to make the entire meal over sh that it could be fresh. I agreed so that the experience could be a good one and he was super accomodating. I appreciated it. When we received the fresh meal, 100% better. Hot, tasty and I agreed with the reviews. I am a little hesitant though to go back because I don't want to have another bad experience like today and then I have to complain to get fresh food. Restaurants should always give customers fresh and hot food no matter what.

The lady was unresponsive and had AirPods in and would not listen to me asking for a cup for water. The walk in freezer has no door and is making us cold just thinking about it. The chicken was juicy and not particularly crispy and seasoned oddly. The vibe was shit and the portions were horrific. Extremely overproced. Overall 1/5

The fried chicken here is super juicy and well seasoned. The breading is on the lighter side so with that being said, it’s not the crispiest chicken but still delicious nonetheless. I like how it’s not greasy but instead tender and juicy. The fried cheese and bread pudding was so bomb I would come back just for that. Also the sweet potato fries are really great ( I think they use Japanese sweet potatoes which is nice). I will return and bring some friends to try too.
