"On the north side of Dallas, there is a restaurant where adults can return to grade school, a place that serves beer to its “students,” and offers eating as its core curriculum. Public School 972 is a school-themed Dallas eatery that offers its customers an “education in the art of gastronomy.” The restaurant is fully decorated with school-related objects, so nostalgic that only the smell of the burgers and alcohol will remind you that you’re not in an actual school. There are rows of typewriters nailed to the wall, textbooks on the shelves, pencil sharpeners on display, and over a dozen globes hung from the ceiling. Dangling above the heads of the restaurant’s customers are those all-too-familiar multiplication and addition flashcards from our childhoods, perhaps adding a sigh of relief to the nostalgia. Public School 972 takes the grade school theme even further by naming Happy Hour as “recess,” updates on the restaurant as “class notes,” and making a reservation as a chance to “get educated” in the “art of food and beer.” But don’t worry: The food at Public School 972 is good, too.  It’s no school lunch. None" - lewblank, springer, Rin Wolfe

Had an awesome time at TK’s Comedy Club with Darren Carter headlining! He brought great energy to the stage and had the whole room laughing! You can tell he’s a seasoned pro—his crowd work was on point, and he kept the momentum going all night. TK’s is a fantastic venue for comedy. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, the staff is friendly, and the food and drinks were amazing! Chef Brian was serving up some amazing dishes! What a great venue to be able to start off with an incredible meal and finish the night in the speakeasy downstairs!

Google
What a beautiful venue! I attended a business function at TK's and I was very impressed by the attentive staff. The owner TK made a point of introducing himself and being present throughout our event. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience!

Attended the comedy show with a friend tonight and we had a blast! TK himself is such a great host, so humble, funny and down to earth. The food is exquisite the drinks are strong and the atmosphere is a complete vibe, I had the Ceviche tonight. There is also a lounge downstairs and a patio outback, which is amazing for the summer to come. My girlfriends and I will surely be back. I highly recommend for date nights and nights out with friends.

2024- I Had My 57th Birthday Dinner there, the owner and his wife were very accommodating all the way to the end, He called me everyday to make sure everything went smoothly. His wife came over to introduce herself while I was sitting up my decorations for my table. We really enjoyed the comedy show. I will be going to the show again on my birthday this year on April 5th, 2025. I can't wait because I Love Comedy.

We recently hosted a corporate networking event at TK’s, and it exceeded our expectations. Their team not only accommodated all of our requests but also brought creative ideas that elevated the event beyond what we had envisioned. The luxurious speakeasy was a hit with our clients and prospects, and we’ve already booked our next event there. If you’re looking for a top-tier venue with exceptional service, I highly recommend TK’s.

We visited TK's on a weekday and tried their 4-course chef's special. Overall, the food was well-seasoned, but the portions were on the smaller side. The drinks were flavorful and well-made, which was a nice touch. One of the standout features of TK's was their speakeasy, which was surprisingly spacious—definitely an area worth promoting more. It would be a great spot for private dinner parties in the smaller rooms, adding a more intimate experience for guests. However, the shots at the speakeasy were a bit overpriced, and the selection could have been better. On the positive side, the ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the live music created a great atmosphere. The entire experience was enjoyable, and we left with a positive impression. We would definitely recommend checking it out, especially if you're looking for a nice spot with a relaxed vibe and a bit of charm.

Very cool concept! Upscale steakhouse meets comedy club with special Valentine's Day menu. Easy to find, great parking. Very lovely ambience, open space, visible kitchen. Natural, sleek, chic and modern decor. Upbeat, soulful music. Owner TK there to greet which felt very welcoming along with bartenders, rest of service just okay. Hostess/server seemed continuously confused/bad attitude. Food and drinks were delicious. Meatballs were very rich, could use more ricotta to cut richness. Fried deviled eggs were tasty as well. Large portions. Limited menu options if you have pork or shell fish restrictions. Comedy was the highlight. Comfortable enough seating, great view of the stage. Fun show with local artists supporting mental health awareness. Definitely recommend, cute for date night, girls night, large groups. Be prepared to spend. Overall a great time.

We went for the Wednesday ladies night. OMG it was wonderful guys. The greeter was was OK but Our server was amazing. The menu was a bit pricey, but the food was well worth it. The meatball appetizer was my favorite and And the Bite club menu for this week was delicious, especially the duck. All the staff was very attentive we didn’t have to search for a server. The other servers that came to service was also welcoming. The ambience was beautiful. The DJ played all the hits. They had a speakeasy also karaoke. We will be back for the comedy show and for the Wednesday night. It was amazing. Actually, we just probably will be back overall. Everything from start to finish with a 10 out of 10

Yelp
We loved the restaurant at TK's! Our reservation was at 2:30, so we ordered from the brunch menu. The burger was fantastic, and my friends reported that the Filet Mignon Benedict, Migas Frittata, and Caesar Salad were also excellent. The food presentation is beautiful. When we got there, the place was empty, but the music and Miller's excellent service made the ambience enjoyable. We must return for dinner when the comedy show is on.

Yelp
Perfect spot for a date night! We tried TK's for the first time on a Friday evening. We started with dinner in the main dining room. I had the Litty Ditty cocktail and my husband enjoyed a Blue Moon on draft. For appetizer, we shared the Crispy Devilled Eggs which I thought was both imaginative and delicious! It was the first time I had ever had panko crusted deviled eggs dressed with bacon jam and pickled shrimp. Creative and tasty! For dinner, I enjoyed the Rosemary Pork Chop with peach bourbon glaze, a loaded baked potato topped with a slab of thick cut bacon and grilled veggies. The portion was huge and could have easily been shared. (I took half of my dinner to go.) Everything was cooked to perfection and I especially loved the mix of fresh cut veggies. My husband also enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli which came with a side of spinach. Both the manager and the owner stopped by our table during dinner to greet us, thank us for coming in and be sure everything was to our liking. After dinner, we were escorted by the owner into the comedy show where we enjoyed more drinks and laughs. The owner TK performed along with a few other comedians. Personally, my favorite brand of comedy is when comedians don't have a set list of jokes, but rather chats up the audience to build their set. The headliner Brady Matthews was excellent at this and kept the audience engaged. After dinner, we decided to go downstairs to the speakeasy, which is an intimate and cozy spot for an after dinner drink. It was crowded at the bar, but we managed to grab two seats at the end near the piano player and ordered two espresso martinis, our signature after dinner drink. I think we would have stayed longer if it didn't seem like the piano player was playing every song on high speed! (I'm deducting one star from my review rating for this.) Overall, his piano skills were impressive, but we were trying to relax and end our night feeling serene and tranquil not on edge. We left after one drink. Overall, I love the concept and think TK has done an amazing job of creating this space. It is a lovely restaurant that serves an imaginative and well executed menu. The comedy is on point and the speakeasy is cozy and has the potential for a laid back vibe.

Yelp
Great great vibes and ambiance but food overrated imho. The ladies nite bites were def bite size. Some dishes were tasty others not so much so hit or miss. Wasn't worth the required 2 drink min. Drinks were $18+ and not worth the price. I THINK the first drink was pretty sitting, so there's that! We made the best of it and enjoyed the karaoke room. Loved all the ladies picking their fav songs and singing and dancing their hearts out. I'd go back after I've already had a drink or two before heading in. Grab an app and enjoy the vibes and lovely service and venue.

Yelp
TKS was a vibe! I went on a solo date for their Wednesday ladies night Bite Club event. I sat at the bar. Hey supposed to eat to get helping me was really nice. The service was a little slow as you could tell they were really busy and still learning the flow from this new ladies night concept. I would say be prepared to wait a little until they work out the kinks and get a good grasp on the flow of everything. you can catch my review at _CookingwithChels, on TikTok and IG! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8LUAMKc/

Yelp
Highly recommend!! We came here for the ladies night Bite Club! The food, drinks and service was amazing. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, making for a special and unique ambience. Such a great value for such a great experience. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Food was absolutely amazing. Get the experience you will not be disappointed. Everything was cooked to perfection and served with a smile. The wait staff was quite nice. The ambiance is so nice and festive. The owner TK comes around to great customers to make sure they have the best experience possible, and I did.. This is a must try, if you enjoy laughing and having a good time. There is also a band in the lounge located in the basement .

Sara N.

Yelp
The ambience was there for sure, lots of cute decor all around. Good for happy hour or even GNO. They have comedy shows and even a Karaoke room. The service was excellent but slow. We were there for 3 hours for bite club. Not sure if it was because they were busy but they didn't check up on us often besides to ask if we got our food yet. The bite club tasting menu was decent. I'll come back to see a show and try their actual menu.

Yelp
Had a great time at TK's, eating the delicious Crispy Deviled Eggs and enjoying the comedy show with Greg Romero Wilson

Yelp
TK's Comedy has a little bit of something for everyone. The uniquely modern venue features many wonderful areas, from the airy dining space with a spacious bar and wonderful patio, a private comedy theatre, and a sultry lounge on the lower level with an intimate meeting room. Don't let the name fool you; TK's Comedy is a great venue for corporate luncheons, fundraisers or networking events. Every staff member I encountered was helpful, friendly and professional. Parking won't be an issue thanks to a large parking lot. If visiting for an event, show or just dropping in for a cocktail or meal, you'll have a great time! If you see me laughing, or enjoying a cocktail say hello. XOXO LORENZO!

Gina K.

Yelp
This place is so beautiful! The ambience is a perfect setting for a fun night out. The service was excellent and the drinks were strong. The food was also a strong point. Met the owner and he was welcoming and making sure everything ran smoothly. Had an amazing time!

Ashna G.

Yelp
I had a simple sit down dinner, did not attend the comedy show. Did not enter the speakeasy area. Positives: I went alone to dine, and they did give me a table so you may be able to get in without a reservation too. The dessert was great (chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream) the atmosphere was great and the staff was very nice and polite. Negatives: The main course quantity is less than expected (I ordered ravioli) and I am a female with not a huge appetite. If you are a guy with a big appetite, please be prepared to order appetizers + entree at the very least. The drink was average (Paloma) , not bad but not great. Bill expected: for 3 items above + tip was ~75

Mick M.

Yelp
The general manager told me to get the FUCK out when I told him how poor the food and service was. Then it was theft of service after I he'd already paid. I fail to see how when I paid for my food and drinks, and I have proof. What a bad manager that thinks this way. They offer a mediocre service at a premium rate. What a joke. In a whole we paid over $6000 for what they offered and then told me to get the fuck out. Good luck on your future.

Ashley M.

Yelp
I had a great time at this spot! Jesse, Isabel & Krissel were amazing! We had dinner during the comedy show. Then, we went to the speak easy bar after! The decorations inside were beautiful! Definitely recommend this spot in Addison

Marcy S.

Yelp
I was so looking forward to going to this place because of the good reviews. Unfortunately I made a reservation and bought tickets for the comedy show. Then the night before received a text saying my reservation and tickets were no good because they had booked a private party instead. They offered to refund tickets and comp tickets to another show but unfortunately this was for a birthday so a different night just doesn't work and waiting to eat dinner at 9:30 for a group of 40+ ladies is a no go. Incredibly disappointing that a private party got booked in place of existing reservations and ticket holders. So make sure you have other plans as a backup because there is no guarantee that your reservation and tickets will be honored.

Madeline C.

Yelp
I come here like once a month, comics are incredible, food is always wonderful, and love the speakeasy!!

Cynthia L.

Yelp
The food, drinks and ambiance were amazing! I was excited to visit this place and the owner did not disappoint he greeted us warmly and welcomed us to his place!! I can't say that about a lot of Dallas locations. He even went above and beyond and give us tour of his Speakeasy we are definitely coming back! We had the shrimp scampi pizza! Amazing! And the was good! We also did the comedy show- it was a nice night out for us - date night. Grab your couple and visit this place! It also has a ton of photo op places

Kayla M.

Yelp
Loved this place! We only got drinks, but the food around us looked great. The service was a bit slow to get to us at first at the bar, but the amazing drinks made up for it. I am a lemon lover, so the Limoncello Martini was perfect. The best part was it was creamy! The Paloma was also chefs kiss. Will be going back to try the food and catch a comedy show.

Bri N.

Yelp
# For context, my friends and I booked a reservation 8PM for Wednesday Bite Club for a table of 4. We were excited since it is trending on social media, so I had made reservations for my birthday right before it sold out. TK is a beautifully decorated establishment, but the music was lively but also extremely loud. Building was packed, and every seat was full! We arrived on time and seated around 10 minutes late -- No biggie. Got told that we had a time limit of 90 minutes, but since we were seated late, they would give us some grace. No worries, since the 3-course meal was free as long as you paid for two drinks. Got seated at 8:10pm and our server got our drink order in by 8:15pm. My girls and I were vibing, the owner TK came out and gave us all free show vouchers. 8:45pm rolls around and we still had not received our food nor drinks. We hadn't been checked on by our server. We were also screaming over the music to even be able to talk to each other even though we were seated next to/across from each other. TK checked on us again since we had nothing on our table, and got on our server for not being on top of the service. After that, we had our first round out: a small plate that was "Roasted Fig Mostarda, Paula's Goat Cheese, Prosciutto (Cracker), and Tarragon Oil." It looked more like a huge dollop of fig jam, cheese, and Tarragon oil with a slice of plain fig. The prosciutto was air-dried and resembled beef jerky, but the ratio of the prosciutto to dippings was a little... interesting since it was a singular piece of prosciutto to giant portions of the other dippings. We figured since this was only round 1, maybe the next round would be more like an entree size. 9:00pm rolls around and we still had not received our drinks yet and no sign of our next round. A couple other tables around us are also receiving the same treatment and are looking around anxiously, hangrily. the table next to us cave and order something off the main menu -- those items come out quickly (within 10 minutes of them ordering), so we're confused. If Bite Club is so popular (they're going into week 2 or 3 of this promotion), why didn't they prepare more dishes ahead of time to prepare? Are they doing this on purpose so we can order something off the main menu and they can make more profit? Why are there not enough servers? Why are they not adequately trained to take care of the tables they are given? 9:15pm -- At this point, we start making plans to dip. We'd been there for nearly an hour, and even if we did get the next two rounds for free and both rounds of drinks, it's not enough time to actually eat and enjoy our food. TK stops by our table again, and we tell him the situation of receiving only one round and no drinks. He says that the round of drinks and the first dish will be comped -- on him as an apology. Explains that they were understaffed and if we come around next week they'll have more staff to service us. We stick around a little longer to see if maybe the drinks will come out. They don't, and neither our server nor TK check up on us, so we ended up just leaving around 9:20. An hour and 10 minutes with a single snack-size plate and no drinks. At the end of the night, we didn't spend anything, but we missed on an opportunity to have a great experience. At this point, my girls and I don't want a free meal or free drinks -- we just want an explanation. Is this normally how it is, or is it just a bad night? Was our server bad, or is this a strategy to get people to buy the more expensive items off the main menu? What can be done differently to avoid this in the future? Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we were severely disappointed.

Brooke D.

Yelp
I actually came here with my boyfriends mom and we had such a great time! TK's would be a great spot for anyone wanting something fun to do whether it be a date or girls night. The restaurant itself has a very elegant ambiance and the food and drinks are great. Service was good and they have a great system for making sure you have wonderful service even during the show. The comedians were all incredibly funny. I loved the owner so much, he is so charming and funny and also very personable. Pro tip- ask him to show you the speak easy ;)

Vannesa R.

Yelp
If you live in Dallas or visiting like us you gotta check out TKs. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful and I love how it felt like a 1 stop shop for a date night. This building is a restaurant, comedy club and a secret speakeasy. Drinks and food was delicious and we even got to meet TK and he is such a down to earth person.

Sara G.

Yelp
I recently had dinner at TK's Comedy in Dallas, and it was a great experience. TK himself met us at the door and was personable. Top notch service at this spot. The ceviche and scallops were fantastic. The speakeasy downstairs is beautifully decorated and has such a great vibe. The story behind the restaurant, shared by TK and Kara, adds a personal touch to the overall atmosphere, making it more than just a place for laughs--it's a welcoming space for great food and cocktails. Highly recommend checking it out!

Pam M.

Yelp
Fun fun date night spot or group of friends too! We started with drinks and dinner in the restaurant - great ambiance and the owner was so kind to greet us. We had great food salmon pasta and the seafood platter. We then moved to the comedy club. What a cute small venue we had the pleasure of seeing five different comedians, and loved all of it. Would highly recommend for a date Or group outing!!!

A K A.

Yelp
My husband needs a mobility scooter to get around. TK is had amazing hospitality and service. Went for the comedy show and it was amazing. Had the chicken slider appetizer and it was delicious. We will happily return with friends!

Demetria C.

Yelp
The entire staff from the owner, bartenders to the waiters were friendly and patient. The ambiance is very romantic and dimly lit. The French 75's were perfectly crafted. The appetizers, entrees and deserts were nicely plated. The only area that this restaurant is lacking is in the seasoning department. Every person in my party complained that there food was lacking flavor, with the exception of the salmon and vegetable plate. Other than that, I would definitely recommend TK's. Note: We did not go to the comedy side, therefore I can't rate that part of this establishment.

Morgan T.

Yelp
Never heard of this place till we passed by one day decided to try it out this past Friday . We waited for the next comedy show on the patio and the atmosphere was so relaxing and so beautiful! The show was SO GOOD! The comedians they had preform did amazing and had me and my boyfriend enjoying every minute of the show. We tried the crab cake (AMAZING ESPECIALLY THE SAUCE) and the shrimp scampi pizza also way better than we thought it would be ! Highly recommended and we will be back .

Ramatoulie R.

Yelp
visited this restaurant with a group of friends celebrating a birthday. Nikita was our server and she was so sweet and attentive. My drink was sweet and refreshing. The pesto pasta was okay. It needed a bit more seasoning in my opinion. I also ordered the nashville sliders and they were delicious! The restaurant was nicely decorated but I was freezing majority of the time - wish it was a bit warmer. But overall we had a good time and I would visit again to enjoy the comedy show!

Kerri M.

Yelp
We were not expecting the food to be that great since it is a comedy club as well. We were so impressed! The food was amazing! The server was friendly and helpful. TK came by to check on us...again, so friendly. We had dinner in the dining room and then went to the show after. It is a small and intimate venue so comics can really engage with the crowd. We went to the little speakeasy downstairs after to continue the party and had a great time! It was a fantastic night!

Emily J.

Yelp
Would NEVER recommend anyone going unless it was ONLY for the comedy club part. To start, we had a birthday reservation for a party of 6, we got seated at a table for four and the guy said well i guess we can push the table together and never push the tables together for us. Our service was the worst service I've EVER had for a "nice restaurant." We saw our service a total of 5 times after the fact that we had to keep asking people to get our server. Could not get refills on our water or alcohol beverages. The food runner spilt my ranch( no big deal) and brought us a new one and charged for a side of extra ranch.. what???? The $54 filet mignon was the worst anyone has ever had. Our server never came and asked how our food turned out so we had cold, terrible steaks sitting on our table waiting to be dealt with for 30 minutes. Now comes dessert. We had to ask for someone to get our server for us of course.. after 5 minutes he finally comes back. We say "do yall have a desert menu for us to look at" he responded smart and said "no we don't carry menus here" which can be funny (I guess?) if we had good service but to say that knowing you don't check on your table?? Absolutely ridiculous. The owner comes around and "helps" but NEVER apologized for the lack of service and the lack of food quality. This place is a joke for charging that much for the poor quality of the restaurant.

Mindy R.

Yelp
What a great place! We were in the area and stopped by for dinner. We didn't realize that there was also a comedy club in the back and will definitely be back for a show. We looked up the acts and they sound great. Ambiance was great!! The dining room was elegant but we still comfortable in casual clothes (oops). They had a great patio that they were getting ready to open (apparently there is live music and a bar on the weekends). The comedy club was dark and moody and there is a speakeasy downstairs. The food was excellent! We had a cheese and charcuterie board and split the shrimp and grits. They split it for us which was such a thoughtful touch - look at this generous portion and this is only half of it!! What really made it special was the owner, TK, came around to check on us and introduce himself. You can tell that he and his wife take great pride in the place and it showed.

Tarun M.

Yelp
Very inclusive place which is one by some smart people. When you enter this place, you can see that a lot of thought and planning went in to it. Of course the comedy hall was great I liked their concept of basement lounge as I usually do not like loud places TK and his wife are really nice and funny. I feel like I laughed here as much as I usually do at famous comedian's show, if not more. I think it's smart that they have multiple comedians on the stage for 10 to 15 minutes. Which makes up a full show.

Uno V.

Yelp
Great place, owner is awesome and very welcoming. We had tons of fun and we will be back.

Heather V.

Yelp
Food & service was excellent! We stayed for the comedy show after dinner and had a great time!

Tobie C.

Yelp
Went for a comedy show and arrived early, I sat at the bar and it was a full 20 minutes before I was acknowledged and it didn't seem busy enough for that. The bartender let me know they were short handed and comped my drink for the wait. Nikita was friendly and told me more about the place and definitely helped me forget the long wait. She made an amazing espresso martini. The comedy venue was small but perfect size and I enjoyed cozy private seating up against the wall. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and they were really good paired with the greens underneath. I even visited the speakeasy underneath the bar once the show was done. It seemed nice and had live music. Overall I had a great time and Nikita was awesome. 4 stars since the service was an issue. But definitely try them out!!!

Amber M.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to be a guest at TK's restaurant and comedy club over New Year's Eve and what an experience it was! we loved every single thoughtful detail curated by the owners and carried out by the wonderful staff. From arrival to leaving everything was beautiful the staff was attentive and the food and drinks were delicious. I cannot say enough great things about this establishment. We had steak and salmon both were cooked perfectly, offered generous portions and paired perfectly with amazing side items. The standup portion of the evening was a riot! All of the comedians that performed were funny and kept the crowd engaged and laughing. I really like that this venue is kind of a three in one you could have dinner go to the comedy show and then go to the little speakeasy without ever having to leave the building. The great thing is that each space is so thoughtfully designed that you don't feel like you're in one giant building for all of these activities. There is also a beautiful patio with heaters overlooking a little lake the whole place it's just so wonderful great experience overall.

Ashley K.

Yelp
TK's has become one of our favorite spots after several visits. The food is absolutely delicious, and the owner takes the time to engage with nearly every guest, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Plus, the selection of comics is fantastic. Unlike other comedy clubs in the area is they do not have a drink minimum. That said, the bartenders craft exceptional espresso martinis and make a wonderful Manhattan. Their food menu consists of elevated cuisine, such as lobster Mac and cheese and mushroom truffle pizza. I personally love their charcuterie board. The service was top-notch as well; the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed without interrupting the flow of the show. We also love their prohibition-era speakeasy, which is open after shows on the weekends.

Colleen D.

Yelp
My boyfriend and me visited here from Mn! We loved it! First fine dining we had shrimp and grits and lobster Mac n cheese both were amazing! The waiter was funny and helpful. TK himself introduced himself and was a very funny comedian. The comedy show was in a separate room. The comedians including the main act were funny! They have drink and food service at the tables. Also no min on drinks. We then went downstairs to a speak easy and listened to a guitar player. It was great Gatsby theme. We loved it! It completed 3 things we wanted to do in Dallas,Texas!

Claudia R.

Yelp
I've been to TK's for their comedy show nights a few times and every single time TK (the owner) always treats us so respectfully and like old friends. His wife Kara and him are very involved and you can always see them when you go. Show was funny, it's pretty decent size, and it's one of the only thing places I've found around Dallas that doesn't require a drink minimum. I've had their steak quesadillas, chicken sliders and deviled eggs and a couple of tequila pineapples and all have been excellent. I would give the deviled eggs a 7.5/10. I've found better but they're still pretty good. Ambiance and service is great. Speakeasy downstairs is beautiful and I'm told they have live music certain days. Workers are friendly! Love this place.

Peggy S.

Yelp
I came in a party of two with a reservation, on Friday evening. This establishment is beautiful & I love the atmosphere! The decor was great, with nice lighting, and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. Just based on that I would love to return to the restaurant. Let me start there. I felt under dressed as I came after work to decompress. The hostess assured me I was fine. We were seated promptly, I did have a reservation, and our server showed up pretty quickly. I asked Steven what drinks did he recommend based on my pallet and he recommended Creamy Dreamy and Litty Ditty. I ordered Creamy Dreamy & the Shrimp Scampi pizza. My drink was good I think I was just expecting more sweet, but it was not bad. The pizza is a good size, I was only able to finish two slices. It was pretty good but it is missing something, not salt but a seasoning and I can't think of what it is. Just for the record, I would still order it again. While waiting for our food the owner came over to our table greeted us, introduced himself and made sure we were OK! This was definitely a plus in my book. He's very friendly, personable and told us about the rest of the restaurant: the comedy show that evening and the speakeasy. Unfortunately I had to take off. However this definitely gives us a reason to come back. The owner checked on us again once our food arrived. I really enjoyed my first experience here, from the man who opened the door, hostess, server to the owner. I will be returning & would love to try other items. I do recommend this establishment. The service & ambience is wonderful.

Yelp
This review is long overdue. Every time we come to TK's, I discover something new. Our first visit here was for their New Year's eve event (grand opening) although the restaurant area was not completed, you could still tell they did a magnificent job with the interior re-design and decor. We enjoyed everything we ordered and met both owners several times, as they made sure everyone was having a blast. After dinner we went into the comedy club, where we were pleasantly surprised with the build and ambience. Drinks were made just right and they picked some wildly funny comedians. Since then, I've coordinated multiple medium to large work events there and continue to recommend this place to several friends and family looking for a classy esthetic and yummy spot for clients, birthdays, nights out, and large parties. It's just what this area needs in terms of a place with swagger. We may even throw our engagement party at their speakeasy, still finalizing some deets there but this place does not disappoint!

Yelp
Where else can you go for good food, comedy, fabulous drinks, a patio and a speakeasy? TK's definitely is 5 Stars and I've been there multiple times. I've never had food or drinks that weren't delicious. Great for date night, girls night out or just looking for something to do. I recommend TK's to everyone!

Yelp
Had a chance to check out this place for a friends bday dinner and it was really good! The service, food and ambiance were top notch! Our server TK was fabulous. Started out with the fried cauliflower. They were huge looked like chicken wings. I kid you not! I had the short rib quesadilla and I damn near made myself sick from overeating. It was super tasty. Others had the New York strip with roasted veggies. It was amazing as well. The restaurant is nicely decorated. There is a nice sized patio along the back of building overlooking a pond with a fountain. Cute! The owner TK took us downstairs to the speakeasy. His wife decorated the area and it was tastefully done.

Yelp
Amazing service, food, ambiance, and overall a 100% positive dining AND entertainment experience. We purchased the VIP dinner and a show package $100 per person. Gets you an app, dinner, desert, and a show (you pay for your own alcohol drinks). We arrived for a 7:30 reservation for 4. We were seated for dinner right away. Dinner was TOP NOTCH. I expected a limited menu, but nope... full menu! I got the fillet minion and my hubby the rib eye. After dinner we were seated right up front at the comedy show. Amazing talent!! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. We will definitely do this again! Thanks TK's!!

Yelp
The comedy venue can host 110 people. We attended a private event hosted by a couple for their engagement party. For the dinner comedy show we ordered 2 drinks and 1/2 dozen oysters and pork chops with beans and potatoes from TK's kitchen. The pork is so tender and juicy. We used the horseradish sauce from the oyster to spread on the pork chop and it enhanced the taste even more. Comedy followed by a DJ dance party at the patio facing the lakeside again the guests can order drinks from wine bar or the bar in the restaurant.. Love the speak easy hidden behind the wall where the band will start playing around 9:30pm on the weekend. into an incredible celebration

Yelp
My uncle rented this cute little place out for my aunts birthday party. It was super fun, the drinks and food were delish and there were so many decorations up it was dreamy. The bartenders were great too they didn't seem to get annoyed like other ones do when I ask my difficult drink questions haha. There's a speakeasy downstairs , comedy shows happen in another section it's a pretty nifty place. Would like to go back on a date night for a comedy show and dinner or something!

Yelp
My husband took me to TK's for the first time as a pre Mother's Day celebration (without the kiddos). He set up a surprise evening of "events" he told me. I was immediately impressed when we drove up. The valet was friendly and courteous and the ambience outside was very welcoming with a lighted entryway to the door of the restaurant. My husband made reservations and the hostess gave us the option of sitting outside on the water or inside with a view of the water. Texas weather being unpredictable during the summer we decided to stay inside with a view of the water. Our server's name was JC and he was wonderful. He checked on us often, but not too much, to ensure we had everything we needed. He provided great food and drink recommendations based on what was popular on the menu. My husband and I had the Liddy Ditty and Creamy Dreamy to drink and the Nashville Hot Sliders and Deviled Egg Flight as starters. I'm a HUGE fan of deviled eggs. If they are on the menu I have to try them and these didn't disappoint with 4 different types of deviled eggs to indulge in. The sliders were also SO GOOD! They had the perfect amount of spice - you could taste it but it wasn't so overpowering that you couldn't eat it - and the ranch on the side was a perfect addition. The only disappointing part was it came with cheese, which wasn't included in the description on the menu, so we had to send them back and request no cheese. Everyone was super nice about it, though, and apologized and the remade the food super quick! For dinner I had the scallops, which I didn't regret. The succotash with bacon was the perfect size and tasted great and the scallops with cream sauce were perfect - it was light, but flavorful. The hubby had the filet mignon which came with a potato of sorts, which he thoroughly enjoyed. After dinner we went to the comedy show which was SO GREAT! The room is perfectly set up so no matter where you sit you have a great view. There also isn't a minimum purchase to get some laughs, but the food and drinks are so good you'll end up buying something anyway. The Experience my husband purchased came with dessert and the server offer to bring that to us while we were in the comedy show which I thought was such a nice touch. I ordered a chocolate martini, which I didn't realize wasn't on the menu, but the bartender and server hooked me up with a very tasty chocolate martini. Great comedians and host with even TK and his wife getting up there to entertain us. I will say - TK's wife if HI-larious and needed to have a longer set. Overall, there were 5 comedians (including the host and headliner) and it was a really amazing show. I would HIGHLY recommend it! After the show, we went down to the Speakeasy which provided a perfect end to the evening. There is a private dining area and plenty of tables and chairs if you want to sit down and have something to eat. We sat in a lounge area where there were four velvet couches and the perfect amount of lighting to provide some privacy. The music they played was a nice variety and had me singing and dancing all night. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will absolutely be back. TK and his godson (who said is named TK Jr, but I can't be sure...lol) introduced themselves to us during dinner and were very welcoming. TKJ also saw us as we were headed out and made sure to stop and ask us how our evening went. Amazing restaurant for a special evening and highly recommend you try it.

Yelp
Found this place of a TikTok video and so glad I did. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food that came out in 5 minutes after order, with a comedy club and speak easy bar we will be doing for the rest of the night. Our server Remy was great and made our experience perfect for our date night. Great job with this place! 10/10 experience

Yelp
The place was the setting of a nice dinner date. The music was very cultured. The food was good but over priced. The service was ok just because we had a group of 6 or more. The drinks were the best part to me so I would come back for happy hour only.

Yelp
Food was great, drinks were great; Service was also good; Ambiance was amazing. This is a very clean, very fun place, my only suggestion is search for funnier comedians. Out of the ones who were there, 3 were pretty good. I want to start laughing and not stop, and I had several instances that I just sat there. I really enjoyed the speakeasy, the piano player was really talented. I will return
