Kway chap is not cheap, so be prepared to shell out a little more if you want to have a decent meal. Unlike traditional kway chap stalls, you do not get to choose what goes into your platter. Instead, you have to choose between platter sets and the kway is not included. Eat bowl of kway costs $1, but fret not. Each bowl of kway is quite generous in terms of portion. For a single pax, two sets($6/8) are available. Unfortunately, the $6 does NOT come with offals, so I gave it a miss. The $8 set came with the usual kway chap ingredients, with a little large colon head(大肠头). This version of kway chap actually has a mild herbal taste to it, so take note. The ingredients were actually well braised, and the tofu, tau pok(豆泡), pork belly were flavourful. The above mentioned ingredients are not expensive, so it is up to one's perspective on whether this platter is worth its price. But, as mentioned before, this comes with a little large colon head, which is expensive, so ..... My total cost that day came up to $10(2 kway). Overall, this stall serves above average kway chap, but the waiting time is long. I waited more than 30 minutes for my food. I guess that age is catching up on uncle as the pace which he is chopping the offals is rather slow. This stall has no lack of michelin bib gourment awards, and that probably explains its popularity in this food centre. This is a pretty good offering, but I still feel that the taste is a little lacking in terms of its price. A good meal none the less.
