Epic Universe Offers Unique Theme Park Food and Drinks | Bon Appétit

"The primary sit-down option inside Super Nintendo World and one of the few venues in the park that requires advance booking, this café is the go-to place for guests seeking a true seated meal in that land rather than stand-and-eat snacks." - ByAnnemarie Dooling

We visited the Toadstool Café at Epic Universe, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. There was no need for a reservation—we simply walked in, chose a table we liked, scanned the QR code to order, paid, and the food was delivered right to us. Super convenient! The highlight of our meal was Bowser’s Fireball Challenge. It’s a spicy meatball dish, and since we love spicy food, it was perfect for us—packed with flavor and heat. For dessert, we tried a few items. The ? Block Tiramisu was delicious, and my wife especially loved the Mt. Beanpole Cake, topped with a light and tasty matcha mousse. Both were big hits. However, the Princess Peach Cake was the downside of our visit. The portion was huge, and the cake itself was overly creamy. We had seen reviews mentioning this issue beforehand, but wanted to try it anyway. Unfortunately, it definitely needs improvement. We also asked for a box since we couldn’t finish it, but they didn’t have any available. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and the majority of the food, but next time we’ll skip the Princess Peach Cake. The rest of the menu made the experience worthwhile, and we’re looking forward to coming back!

We had a great experience at Toadstool Cafe, both food-wise and theming-wise! The restaurant is incredibly well done and truly feels like stepping into the Mario universe. We ordered the Mario Burger, Yoshi’s Fettuccine Alfredo, and the Tiramisu for dessert. The Mario Burger was decent but a bit plain—nothing particularly memorable. However, the fries were surprisingly tasty thanks to a subtle truffle flavor that elevated them. The Yoshi’s Fettuccine Alfredo was the standout dish: delicious, creamy, and very generously portioned. It included broccoli and mushrooms, plus a super cute salty Yoshi egg–shaped cracker that added to the fun presentation. For dessert, the Tiramisu was excellent. It’s square-shaped and decorated with “?” cookies on each side, perfectly mimicking the iconic question block from the video games. It tasted as good as it looked. We went on a weekday around 11:30 a.m. and were seated right away, but I would still recommend making a reservation since it can get busy. Overall, a very enjoyable and immersive experience.

Great ambiance, the food is good and let’s say original due to the theme. The service is kinda weird but really quick and functional, you order through a QR code and then there’s a waiter that checks everything and then they bring the food. Prices are really high tbh as usual, it’s not too bad for the portions and quality. We loved everything, specially the block tiramisú and the strawberry cake that was giant btw. The mushroom soup is pretty nice, I recommend it specially on cold days.

The food and environment is adorable. The food wasn't spectacular but it wasn't terrible. I enjoyed the spaghetti, but the garlic knots were a bit dry and the tiramisu wasn't great. Everything was super cute though. Took us about 10min to get a seat on a Sunday at lunch time. The food definitely looks better than it tastes but we did eat everything we got. We really enjoyed the specialty boba drink tho, it was the highlight item for taste. Worth a stop if you are a huge Mario fan, but probably a skip if you are a foodie. Lots of restrictions in epic have yummier food, but this place has the most instagramable options.

Recently went to Toadstool Cafe on a Saturday. We were seated very quickly but the wait for food was a bit long - granted we did go right at the beginning of lunch time. Our party ordered the mushroom pizza bowl, Yoshi Alfredo, garlic knots, tiramisu and the layered cake (I forget the name but I’m posting a picture). Flavor was pretty good for theme park food. The Alfredo was my favorite. The portions were generous for the cost. The lemon smash drink (again, not sure of the name but see the picture) was our very favorite! Refreshing but not too sweet. We saw the Princess Peach cake (did not order) and it was very big! Probably best to share with at least 4 people. Overall, a good option for lunch when you’re at epic. Lots of seating and nice place to cool down. The decor/theming of the restaurant was fantastic!! 10/10

Google
We got there before the lunch time rush and was seated immediately. The ordering process was straightforward and the food was prepared in a timely manner. The Mario burger was great! The patty was juicy and the fries that came with it were fresh, crispy. The soup was decent while the garlic mushrooms were a bit on the dry side. The marinara sauce is certainly needed to help it go down. The tiramisu was delightful. Overall a very good experience.

Google
Eating at Toadstool Cafe was honestly one of the highlights of Super Nintendo World. The theming inside is excellent and feels lively without being overwhelming, and there is a surprisingly large menu with a lot more variety than expected. Everything we tried felt well thought out rather than gimmicky, and the desserts were the real standout. The cake was rich and satisfying, and the boba was genuinely good rather than just a novelty add on. It is a great spot to slow down, cool off, and actually enjoy a meal instead of just grabbing quick theme park food.

Google
Super fun place, its a whole attraction by itself. Mobile order everything! And a long line. We were seated and had a cute window watching toad walking around. The food The mushrooms soup is really good packed with flavor and bits and pieces of muchroom. The bowsers firewall challenge was also delicious and packed with flavor..it's shareable IMO. The mario burger wasnt that great, the look yes, but the flavor was just ok. The fries were absolutely my favorite, they had a hint of truffle oil, delicious! The staff is trying to get things moving along so, interaction is very straightforward. I felt rushed to leave. It was a great experience overall. Dont see the need to be back anytime soon just because of how long it took us to be seated.

Yelp
Quick bites, cartoon joy, and edible nostalgia Toadstool Cafe is exactly what it promises: fast, fun, colorful, and unapologetically inside a video game. First things first--the theming goes hard. This isn't Mario wallpaper slapped on a cafeteria. The windows "look" into the Mushroom Kingdom kitchen where Chef Toad animatronics hustle around like you're watching a playable cutscene. Kids lose their minds. Adults pretend they're not smiling. Everyone's smiling. Ordering is streamlined, efficient, and mercifully quick for a theme-park restaurant. This is fuel-with-personality, not a white-tablecloth experience, and it knows it. Food comes out fast, hot, and plated like it belongs on a Nintendo loading screen. The menu leans playful but competent--Bowser's Fireball Challenge, Mario and Luigi burgers, themed desserts that are absurdly photogenic, and portions that won't wreck your day but will absolutely keep you going. No one's reinventing gastronomy here, but nothing feels lazy or insulting either. What makes Toadstool Cafe work is that it never breaks immersion. Even when you're eating, you still feel like you're inside the game. The colors, sounds, details, and pacing all reinforce the illusion that you didn't just sit down to eat--you hit "pause" in another world. Is it fine dining? No. Is it memorable, fun, and joyful? Absolutely.

Yelp
This cafe is themed perfectly! There is a plethora of seating inside, so don't worry too much if the line seems long to get in. Additionally, the staff seat your party so you don't have to worry about searching for a seat. We ordered on the app while we waited in line and then scanned the QR code on our table to have our order delivered to us. I love this process! The Bowser's Fireball Challenge was $25 and included a 1-pound meatball with spicy sauce and a Bowser shaped biscuit. The meatball was just okay. The mushroom soup came in such a cute bowl and was surprisingly really really good. This restaurant is a bit pricey (I think the Piranha Plant Caprese was like $13-14 which was hard for me to justify spending on a few tomatoes and mozzarella slices), but you do have to remember this is located inside Epic Universe so you will be paying theme park prices. I would come back for the soup on a cold theme park day if I wanted a quick, healthy, hearty snack under $10 (for the soup specifically). The desserts looked good, but we didn't get to try any. I think this is more of an ambiance and decor kind of place. The service was very efficient and streamlined though given with how many guests were dining in.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant! Don't let the outside deceive you, it has a very large indoor seating area. My family ordered the mushroom soup, Mario burger, Alfredo pasta, garlic knots, and kids meal pasta. Everything was tasty. We also saw several tables around us ordered the peach cake. It is huge, and looks tasty. Mobile order on the app only. Then the wait staff will bring the meal out to your table.

Yelp
I really like themed cafes and wanted to try this place since we were in Super Nintendo World around lunch time. We went around 11AM and beat the lunch rush that came in around 12PM. We were able to easily grab a table! I did the mobile pickup order through the phone and it was seamless! I tried the chicken fettuccine and thought it was okay. The chicken was very salty but the pasta itself was not which led to a strange eating experience. The tiramisu cake was very cute and tasted good. My spouse got the Mario burger. It was a standard burger! I got the cream of mushroom soup and liked the Toad top that came with it. They do allow you to take a picture but they will take it away after (I bet you people were taking the tops). The soup itself was tasty. I think the food here is mostly just okay but the ambiance is really cute. I like the Toads on the screens and sometimes it gets dark when the Bowser airships start attacking the Toads! Or if Bullet Bill is harassing the Toads in the kitchen!

Yelp
The menu includes Mushroom Soup, Cheesy Garlic Knots, Chicken Salad, Caprese Salad, Burgers, Pastas, Pizza Bowls, Meatballs, Marinated Chicken, and a few dessert options. Unfortunately, this place is more about ambience than food quality. The food itself was extremely bland, and to make matters worse, they do not provide salt or pepper if you asked. It's disappointing to say this because the restaurant's decoration is absolutely adorable. If you love Super Mario or Nintendo, it's a fun spot to walk through and take photos. You can also refill Coca-Cola Freestyle souvenir cups here, which is a plus. We waited approximately 50 minutes for our food. During that time, multiple tables that were seated after us received their meals. We eventually had to flag down a manager for help. Thankfully, once we spoke up, the food arrived within about five minutes. The manager on duty was very efficient and apologetic, which helped ease the situation. While the food looked incredibly cute and well-themed, the taste did not match the presentation at all! This is honestly one of the first negative reviews I have had to leave. The biggest disappointment was the Super Mushroom Pizza Bowl. Despite clearly stating that it comes with mozzarella cheese, both pizza bowls we ordered arrived with absolutely no cheese! We asked a staff member if cheese could be added, and they told us they could not give us any. If they had run out, that should have been communicated instead of simply refusing. A pizza bowl with no cheese feels like false advertising, especially since it stated in the descriptions it had mozzarella. What we ordered: Yoshi Mushroom Alfredo: $16.99 Fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken, mushrooms, broccoli, and a Yoshi egg parmesan crisp. This dish was extremely bland with no seasoning at all. It had zero salt and no depth of flavor. We ordered two plates and did not finish either one. Unfortunately, both of us ended up getting sick and throwing up a few hours later. The dish honestly reminded me of a frozen microwave meal. Super Mushroom Pizza Bowl: $17.99 Pizza bowl with mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom marinara sauce topped with a Super Mushroom pizza crust. Our table ordered two. The bowl itself was adorable, but neither dish had any cheese, and we were told we could not get any added. Toadstool Cheesy Garlic Knots: $8.99 Mini mushroom-shaped knots brushed with garlic butter, parmesan cheese, parsley, and served with marinara sauce. These were decent, but nothing memorable. Block Tiramisu: $8.99 Tiramisu layered with coffee-soaked ladyfingers and topped with a chocolate power-up. This was the only item everyone at our table truly enjoyed. It actually had flavor and was genuinely good. Overall, waiting nearly an hour for food that was extremely bland, lacking basic seasoning, and missing advertised ingredients made this experience very disappointing. Spending about $88 here did not feel worth it, and we would not return. The concept and visuals are super cute and great for photos, but that's about it. If you are visiting Epic Universe, your best bet is heading to Yoshi's Snack Island for a shell calzone and a smoothie instead. Sadly, this was the worst place we ate at Epic Universe. Dined in on 12/13/25.

Yelp
For any super Mario fan, this cafe is a must visit. The workers are adorable, the music playing is nostalgic, and the presentation of everything is whimsical and very Mario like. The food isn't the most stellar here so my suggestion is come here for the desserts because they are really whimsical and fun. I got the tiramisu block which was pretty standard. I got the mushroom soup also for the bowl and it was a bit bland, but the presentation was super cool. One note is I wish you could order the truffle fries as its own dish. I tried my friends and the truffle oil really permeated through which I enjoyed.

Yelp
Okay, this was my FAVORITE spot in all of Epic!!!! Not only for the theme and how on brand and the details all over, but also because the food was actually super delicious. I was so giddy! They had so many details that truly made the dining experience so immersive. They had "windows" inside of the restaurant that acted as though we were in Toad's world, and at times, the world would be under attack by a ship and bullets. The food could be ordered ahead and assigned to your table. Hubby and I ordered the mushroom alfredo and the tiered matcha cake to share. I don't know if it was delicious because we were famished, but both delicious were 10/10. I cannot recommend this spot to Nintendo fans more!!

Yelp
5 stars for the Toadstool Cafe in Universal's Epic Universe Park - this quick service restaurant is located in the Super Nintendo area of the park (lower level). The design inside is nicely decorated with the Nintendo theme, and there is plenty of seating and Coke freestyle machines inside. We tried the Mario Burger and the Fire Flower Spaghetti & Meatballs with a side of Garlic Knotts. The garlic Knotts and the Mario Burger were good, nothing too special and both about what you'd expect. The Fire Flower Spaghetti & Meatballs however was really good! The sauce had a nice spice to it, and the meal itself was super filling. It's nice that the workers bring the food right to you as well. Overall, I think it's a nice quick service place to get a meal in the park.

Yelp
This place is adorable. The visuals and ambiance are a 10/10 for kids & family. The artistry & design is really fun & it's def one of the coolest restaurants I've ever visited. The food however is very basic. Everything tasted like frozen dinner quality, so you're basically paying for the vibes, and for kids I guess it's worth it.

Yelp
We heard from some friends that the food was really good for an amusement park. We decided to try it out while we were here and we were pleasantly surprised. It was amazing on the inside. It was like we were emerged in the Mario world with Toad and all the toadlings. It was so cute on the inside. It seemed to be very busy but they had it all under check and in order. It was first come first service and there were lots of people coming and going. We came in at 1130/12 and were seated quickly. We decided to try a lot and share. The food was really good.

Yelp
Cute restaurant and since it was in a theme park I didn't expect much but OMG. To start, the line went really quick and the process was smooth but when the food started to come, we were missing 3 items of the 6. We try flagging someone down and when we finally got someone he said "I'll be right back" yeah, never came back. Flagged down the next cast member and he went to grab the supervisor. She apologized and said the order was lost but don't worry it will come out soon. Once it came out, the burger was dryyyyyyy, the salad was mediocre and we didn't even finish the two desserts we ordered. Overall no good, good for pictures though.

Yelp
While in Super Nintendo World you have to try Toadstool Cafe! The line is similar to a ride. You notice the line outside the restaurant and this "oh that's not too bad", but then realize there's a very long line inside as well. We walked right inside, but waited about 30-40 minutes in the indoor line before we were seated. You order on the app and 'check-in' once you sit down. The whole experience is cool. The tables are chairs are chunky and oversized. There's screens showing toadstools walking around. I'm not sure that I've ever contemplated a toadstool's world before, but this definitely felt the vibe! I got the mushroom soup and an order of garlic knots. The soup was okay, I wish it was a tad creamier. It came in a cute bowl! My husband got the pesto chicken sandwich and said it was good. The food was okay, you're paying for the experience!

Yelp
Toadstool Cafe was very reminiscent of my recent trip to Japan where the themed cafes go all out with the decor, food presentation, and ambiance, but lack actual flavor in the dishes. The general menu is a little more basic, I assume to cater to kids since it is in Super Nintendo World. I had heard that the Super Mushroom Soup was actually the only thing that's good, and I would agree! It was very yummy. The Luigi Burger needed more pesto, but the truffle fries were actually pretty tasty with the sauce on the side. I also like how quick the service is and the QR code ordering. Overall, the cafe is such a cute place to eat at, but don't expect amazing flavors! I would still come back as a huge Nintendo fan myself!

Yelp
For lunch in our day at Epic Universe we went to the toadstool cafe! The queue was a little long...: but worth the wait. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The decore.... What can I say..... it's incredible. You're basically in a super Mario video game. The "windows" in the dining area all play a themed video. Food was delicious! The mushroom soup was sooooo good. The garlic knots .... Drool worthy. Burgers and the salad were tasty as well. The pizza bowl looked awesome but was kinda mid. Felt like it was missing something. All in all if your in epic...: come here for a meal!
google avatar

Yelp
The design of this place is amazing. It is a very and theme restaurant, I found it funny that they kinda serving Italian food in a Mario theme restaurant. It did take a little longer than to get our food but it was worth it and it doesn't felt too long because of so much to see inside. Staff also works very hard to make sure the table is ready, saw a lot of people that try to get a table just walking in from the exit, but the staff handles it well and ask them to get inline. The Mario Burger is excellent, the sauce reminds me of Big Mac, it was not overcooked and amazing. Then Fire Flower Spaghetti and Meatballs tasted excellent and little spicy. I really like the Mt. Beanpole Cake, great presentation and great taste. For theme park food, it is excellent and fun. I will come back.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for themed dining experiences, and during my visit to Epic Universe in September, Toadstool Café completely immersed me in the world of Super Mario. From the décor to the vibe, it felt like I had stepped straight into the game. The menu had so many creative options, but for lunch I decided to keep it simple and went with the kids' cheeseburger meal. Nothing fancy there, just a standard burger, fries, broccoli, and a little chocolate coin for dessert, but the atmosphere elevated it and made it really fun to enjoy. Later that evening, though, is where Toadstool Café won me over. I ordered the Princess Peach Cake and... clawd ham mercy! That cake didn't stand a chance. Moist cake, light frosting, perfectly balanced sweetness--I devoured the whole thing by myself. My only gripe is the $22 price tag for the small cake, but honestly, it was so good I can't even be mad about it. Between the good food, the incredible immersion, and friendly service, Toadstool Café easily earns 4.5 stars in my book. But since I can't give half stars (or don't know how to), I'm giving it the full 5. This is a must-visit spot and will definitely be on my list next time I head back to Epic Universe.
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
A lot better than I had expected! We wanted to try a new restaurant in Epic Universe for our second visit, and our friends were visiting specifically for this land. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the specialty drink, both which exceeded my expectations. I will continue on my journey of trying all the food spots at the park!
google avatar

Alex G.

Yelp
Pretty neat spot to grab lunch or a snack with the kids. The themed is really neat. However, the food is all pretty bad in my opinion. Then again, you can't expect much from a themed park.
google avatar

Alexandra R.

Yelp
This place was the most cutest place ever. The food was ok but the decoration was the most adorable thing ever. The service was ok too I know the place busy but the line did move quick. Just order the food in advance on the app. The deal of super Mario kids meal was a steal .. and with broccoli and corn. My son favorite literally He was the happiest . I would Come back but I don't think I'll have the mushroom pizza.

Yelp
Toadstool Cafe is hands down one of the most fun and creative dining spots in the entire park. Located inside Super Nintendo World, it's themed like you've stepped into Princess Peach's kingdom, and the level of detail is insane. There are moving screens show Toads cooking in the kitchen, and the whole place feels like you're eating inside a Mario game. The food is surprisingly good (not just theme park cute). Some highlights are the Mario Burger, which was juicy, perfectly cooked, and topped with a cute little Mario hat toothpick. It comes with truffle fries. There was also a Luigi Pesto Chicken Sandwich. It was flavorful and lighter than the burger, with fresh greens and a soft bun. The presentation was amazing and service was quick and good. Lines can get long during peak hours, so try to go early or right after the lunch rush. But honestly, it's worth the wait just for the experience. Whether you're a die-hard Nintendo fan or just love a good themed meal, Toadstool Cafe is a must-visit. It's fun, filling, and full of little details that make the meal feel magical.

Yelp
Very very very surprised at how much we enjoyed this restaurant. The Nintendo land was a bit too crammed for our liking so our expectations were low, we sat off lunch hours so it wasn't that bad. Had a chicken sandwich - nice alternative to chicken strips and burgers. Well themed menu. Freestyle machines were always being worked on and had a good mix.
google avatar

Candi B.

Yelp
You have to check this place out just for the theme and cuteness (plus a place to rest your legs and refuel). I got a kids burger meal along with my niece and they are super clever, have a Mario and a flag like he would jump too stuck in your food, as well as a gold coin dessert in a coin box. We tried some cute desserts and fun drinks as well. I'm sure it gets busy but has a decent amount of seating.
google avatar

Luis C.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Mario burger was actually really good! The Luigi chicken sandwich was okay. The chicken was kind of dry. The block was a decent tiramisu with the actual block being vanilla cookies. I got lucky and the line was not too long, and once you sit down, you order food on your phone, and set the table number on your order. Employees will then bring your food out when it's ready. So it's not actual full table service. Inside it's very chaotic and loud because Mario world gets very busy.
google avatar

Angela K.

Yelp
This cafe is literally the cutest. I'm so in love with the decor, I mean how can you not. As for getting seated it was super quick I didn't have to wait long maybe around 5 minutes. For the food items, my sister and I got the Super Mushroom Soup, Yoshi's Fettuccine Alfredo, and the Super Star Chicken Salad. The soup is a little thick and has a strong taste of mushroom. I was disappointed with the salad, it was extremely salty. Out of all the food items the fettuccine alfredo was the best. Overall, the decor is super cute and food was alright as expected for themed cafes. But I would come back to try their burgers and desserts.

Yelp
I was so excited to finally try out the Toadstool cafe in Orlando! I love Nintendo and Toad is one of my favorite characters. You can see him in the windows cooking it's so cute! I love how they set everything up. The servers here were really nice. You choose somewhere to sit and scan the QR code to order. You place the order in the app and they bring it to your table. We started with the Garlic Knots and to be honest these were not good. For the entree I got the Mario Burger. The presentation was cute with the little Mario hat and the mustache on the burger. It was also a pretty good burger! The best thing we had was the dessert, the Mt. Beanpole Cake. Wow they definitely surprised me. It was so delicious! All the layers went perfectly together. I would recommend you try this place out for the experience if you are a big Nintendo fan. Definitely try the Mt. Beanpole cake!

Yelp
Don't waste your time going here! They do not tell you how long to expect when you get in line, but it was an hour or more overall. The wait before you are seated was at least 30 minutes. They have you place your order before you sit, but you can't even have them start making it until you are seated, which then takes another 30 minutes. My meal said ready and completed for probably 8 minutes before it was brought to us. We were worried it was given to someone else. When I tried to as a team member, he was so frazzled to be asked questions and told me it would be another 20-30 minutes even though it said completed- luckily he was wrong. The food was maybe a 2/10. Only things good were the mushroom soup, kids cookie and the tiramisu. The Luigi burger was cold and bland. The truffle fries were just frozen fries with a truffle dipping sauce. The kids spaghetti I couldn't even eat- the sauce was so dry from probably sitting that it was as if there wasn't sauce at all. The garlic knot with it was cold and dry. The place is cute but we left hungry and annoyed to have wasted over an hour. I think they should let you have the order prepare and then once it says ready you can give the table number. Something to get things moving faster.

Yelp
Toadstool Cafe is one of the make dining-in options in Super Nintendo World. And just like Toad is known for being a little guy, I think this restaurant is far too small for the mass of crowds that will come to eat here. It seems like a really inefficient system. You order through the app, but then have to wait in line right when you walk in. Then, once they let you through the line, you walk to a new room to wait in yet another line where there's a bar for certain drinks, and you wait to get your table. Then, once you get to your table you scan it in the app and only THEN do they start making your food. We probably waited 20-30 just to get a table, then at least 30 minutes for the food. It was absolutely packed in there and it was just a preview day during mid afternoon not even prime lunch rush time. I am very curious how this will go when the park is open to all- it is super cramped. As for the food, it was alright. Nothing to call home for but it'll fill you up. I think the best thing is the creativity in naming and theming the food. We got the Luigi burger which came with a plastic Luigi hat and his famous mustache printed on the bun. It added to the fun for sure. It's definitely a cool scene inside and will make your kids heart or your own inner kid soar. They have screens all around with various Toads doddling around, and even once in awhile there's a little even that happens on them that can be entertaining. I'm glad I got to experience Toadstool Cafe at least once but it's probably one I'll avoid at Epic Universe now.

Yelp
I don't care what you say about this place... it's absolutely adorable and the food is actually good. We went earlier in the day (morning) and didn't have to wait for a table. I enjoy ordering at our table and I think it makes things so much easier now that Universal does this. The food came out pretty quickly too. Things I had: Mushroom soup: 7/10 -- pleasantly surprised Mario Burger- 7/10 - can't mess up a burger Bowser's Fireball Challenge: 8/10 -- spicier than I thought it would be Super Star Lemon Squash- 10/10 IT WAS SO GOOD! I can't wait to come back and try more things. If you have Nintendo lovers in you life you MUST come here at some point :)

Yelp
I loved the inside of this place! Definitely transported me into the super Mario universe and my childhood memories came to life. This was amazing and a great time! When you walk in you do order your stuff on you're own but the experience inside is pretty worth it. The food is a bit overpriced because it wasn't AS special as it could've been because the burger was a bit dry but the sauce made it so much better! My brother got the meatball and he'd rate it a 7/10 he loved the proper cook of the meatball and the theme of the dish, he enjoyed the spice! It was a lot of meat he had to consume but he had hoped it had more flavor. Overall he thought it was nice. The service was hardly ever needed but the service was pretty friendly!

Yelp
Place is a great place to eat it has burgers, salads, spaghetti and meatballs, tiramisu. You can order at the register or with the mobile order. The place is nice inside. Overall nice place to eat.

Yelp
When in epic, this little cute cafe is a must especially if you have children. Price point was great! Portion of food was good and service was fast! Everything on the burgers were fresh and tasty. Spaghetti and meatballs were flavorful and large in portion, could easily split by two people. Mushroom soup was a bit too starchy, could use less cornstarch to enhance flavor. The tiramisu looked adorable but it tasted more like a cappuccino mousse. And the only real issue I had is the fact that they have no to go boxes :/ not even if you wanted to pay for one. If they upgrade their tiramisu and offer to go boxes to purchase or include it in price of entries, than it would be a perfect 5 star amusement park restaurant experience :)

Yelp
Once again, the Toadstool cafe was a very cute experience for us. We love the theming of this place and all the moving details that go into the cafe. It does get pretty busy in here but the service is still very good. This time we went only for the popular Peach Cake! It was the cutest thing when it came to the table! It came with an edible card from Peach herself and truly looked like something she would make! It was tasty, but I will say it was almost entirely whip cream unfortunately :/. The layers of cake are hardly and inch and the width and height of actual cake is made up by whip cream. The strawberry filling was also a very small circle in the middle. I usually wouldn't complain because it truly was tasty after we got around the whip cream, but for $24 I can't say I would recommend this very pretty sweet treat. However we still do love to dine for meals at the toadstool cafe and will be returning in the future!

Yelp
We went here for lunch and this cafe was SO CUTE. From the animated windows to the furniture. Self service as usual but the bussers were on top of it! We got... Bowsers fireball challenge: spicy well made meatballs that were very filling. The bowser shaped pastry was very fluffy. Super mushroom pizza bowl: first off- this was the cutest pizza bowl I've ever eaten in my life. As cute as it was, the meats were really salty and the bread was kinda hard...(it would have been cool if this was an almond puff pastry type!!!) ? Block tiramisu: like everything else that came out, super cute I loved this desert, everything about it was delicious!!

Yelp
I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, it came out barely warm and completely bland. The quality of the food here is comparable to school lunches. The service and atmosphere was good, but the food itself is horrible.

Yelp
Went here today with my family and we enjoyed several different items & enjoyed the cafe itself so much! We went pretty early in the day before prime dinning time and I think that was helpful, I can see this place getting extremely busy during lunch and dinner rush. The cafe is so cute & themed so incredibly well. The staff were super friendly and attentive as well. The theming didn't stop with the cafe decor, the food theming was insane and it was also delicious. For a quick service spot, I think this is a wonderful selection!

Yelp
This Mario themed restaurant was everything I've ever dreamed of and more. From the decorations to the food everything was perfect. This place you order the food through the QR code that's on the table and a staff will bring it to you. It is a quick service. I ordered the Mario burger and for a themed park burger, this burger was delicious. It was juicy packed with flavor. I then ordered the tiramisu dessert and it was delicious as well.

Yelp
This place was hopping when we got there. Very geared toward young kids and families. The food looked good and seemed to be adequate portions. The staff are very fun and the environment was very appropriately themed.

Yelp
I liked the design of the restaurant with fun digital toad decorations and soundtracks. To order, you will wait in line, place your order then be seated and the food will be delivered to your table. The food was average but aesthetically pleasing! You can expect to spend a lot of money on any food at the park.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by the food! I especially enjoyed the desserts. We ordered the princess peach cake, which is big enough for at least 4 people. It has real fruit, including strawberries, raspberries, and apple, but oddly enough, no peaches! lol. Was delicious! Loved how light the icing is. It's more like whipped cream. The whole place was really cute inside. The screens were fun to watch too. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the service was really slow. I know they are still working through some things, so you have be patient and allow them some grace. After all they've only been open for a few months. We also tried the Bowser Meatball Challenge, which I thought was good, but not great. We tried a Mario burger, which was better than expected. The kids meal was a great value too.

Yelp
I don't know why they have such bad review. We loved it. It was actually easier and faster than the one in LA. We didn't have any trouble ordering on the app and getting a table almost right away and the food was pretty good. The cost is what you expect for a theme park. Would definitely come here again. Also love that the kids were entertained by the toad in the windows.

Yelp
Overpriced gas station tasting burger. Fries came incredibly over salted. Star "lemon squash" drink was ok. Spent longer trying to setup the order method than it took for them to microwave this food in the back. Keep your expectations low.

Yelp
This review is wildly biased because I love Mario world so much and visiting this park was my child hood dream come true! But if you are a serious Mario fan like me... you have to eat at toadstool cafe! It's the immersive dinner experience that your inner Mario lover needs. There are scenes playing in the window which are super cute and will entertain you while you wait. Also... the food is super cute and very on theme. The only thing I could have passed on was the garlic knots... they were okay and they weren't very themed. The bowser challenge meatball has a kick so be ready! The Mario cheeseburger was solid! The tiramisu was great! And it being a Q box made it that much better! I will be back here for sure!

Yelp
First of all, the meatball pasta was sooo good! The spice was just right and the marinara sauce was 10/10. The meatballs were cooked well and really tasty. The burgers were also good but nothing amazing about it. The pasta takes the win for me. The service was also fast and the ambiance was great!!

Yelp
Ordered the Fire Flower Spaghetti and Meatballs and the Mt Beanpole Cake. The spaghetti noodles were thick, but not over cooked. The meatballs were tender and had a mildly spiced kick to them. I know, spiciness is relative, but I enjoyed them very much. I will say, it might be a little spicy for kids. The Beanpole desert was light and fluffy with hints of a chocolate mousse. It's a basic meal and not gourmet, but it's pretty good and I would order either one again.

Yelp
Service - people were really nice. Actual delivery of food was a little bit of a wait, once seated. Browsers Fireball Challenge, aka "the 1lb meatball" - large portion which can be shared between two people. Slightly spicy Mario Mini Burger Adventure - 1/3 lb patty was dry and cheese wasnt melted, served with cold vegetables Yoshi Mushroom Alfredo w/chicken - pasta was bland with no mushrooms. The mushroom "cookie" is a cheese cookie Overall, not sure if the food was worth the long wait in the hot sun.

Yelp
For the prices that they charge, I expected the food to be much better than what it was. Service was terrible, and it was a very disorganized establishment- but ....the environment was nicely decorated. Ceiling had a cool design. Is it worth it, not really but you know you have to try it out and at least mark it off your bucket list.

Yelp
We had the garlic knots and they were soooo good. We also had the mt. Beanpole cake it was super tasty. The chocolate layer was to die for. Zhara was so kind and made our stay so pleasant. She's a true gem and deserves the world. Thank you again for being a true peach!

Yelp
The food here was amazing! The princess peach cake is definitely something you need multiple people to eat. The service was outstanding since the team took the time to explain the process, dishes and service. The restaurant is very well themed you literally feel like you are eating in the Mushroom Kingdom! However beware Bowser attacks every so often! Over all definitely a power up for your day and continue your adventures in Epic Universe!

Yelp
This place has such a cute aesthetic!! Love the decor and the details added to the food served. Wait time is definitely a long one as this is a very popular spot - you wait to be seated which was around 30mins and once seated you order on the app and it takes another 30-40 mins for the food to come out depending on what you order. So I wouldn't go here if you don't want a long sit down meal. You have to order through the universal app here. The food itself was good! Everyone finished their plates. We ordered the Mario Burger, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Alfredo and a tiramisu for dessert. The little yoshi egg on the pasta and the flower on the spaghetti is Parmesan cheese you can crumble on the pasta! The tiramisu is more of a coffee mouse with a cookie/bread box which was also good. My only complaint and why I didn't put a 5 star on this is the lack of modifications on the app. For example, the bacon burger - we don't eat bacon and there was not an option for a regular burger but they do have an option for no mushrooms and no cheese.
