Toast! All Day

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We ate here 3 times during our trip to Charleston and it was not enough. This place is amazing, the food was excellent, far above the other places we tried for breakfast. The service was fast and friendly. We made fast friends with the staff who welcomed us each time like we were family. We wanted to purchase a shirt and at the time they were out. But they went above and beyond to make sure they had some for us the next day. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Charleston!

The 2 stars is for the service. The girl was running around doing everything from waiting tables, being the hostess, to manning the bar so I'll give her grace for that and she was still kind and friendly. My food was so extremely salty I could barely stomach it without drinking my drink or eating my plain "artisan greens" with it. I got the shrimp and crab omelet and it would've been top notch if they didn't put any salt at all or simply sprinkled some, there was literally small granules of salt throughout and the shrimp wasnt deveined...anyway, the biscuit was really good, fluffy. My husband ordered a surf and turf with scrambled eggs, he asked for a medium steak and it was well done and dry, the windows looked like they haven't been cleaned in a couple of years. This isn't a place I will be returning.

We have eaten here many times over the years. Our waitress Lauren was very nice and perky! But the place really needs a face lift. As in picture. We sat in a booth that was coming apart. My seat was not attached to the booth and I had to push it back on when I got up. Hip hop music blaring on a nice Sunday morning wasn’t exactly relaxing. Pay attention to who your guests are. Older tourists? Yep! Omelette was very good. Bacon was crisp! Grits great. Toast? The name of the restaurant..and we got warm bread. Not toast.

I really wanted to like this place.. The waiter is the main reason why I am giving any stars as he was attentive. The peach French toast was undercooked mushy in the middle and beignets had raw dough in the center. Low country Benedict was meh… The biscuits were the stars. Fried green tomatoes were pretty decent.

Decent but unfortunately the food is overrated. Try the other 2 breakfast places nearby, but breakfast drinks are solid. If you’re “morning after thirsty” their drinks hit spot. Food is so so and place is physically busted up amd too costly for what you get. $70 with tip for 2 entrees and 2 drinks.

Everyone is so welcoming and sweet. People just talk to you and enjoy each other’s company. Amazing Food-Delicious.

Great place for breakfast!!! Everything was cooked perfectly and fresh, service was perfect. We ordered ala carte and every want and need was fulfilled. We sat outside since we were with our dog and received great service, served even brought water for our puppy outside. Would definitely go back.
