Eat at your own risk. Was a spot I would've recommended... until they created a rather ::hairy:: situation for me this morning.
For starters, I dropped bank on the side of home fries -- which cost a wild $8 nowadays for some unknown reason, at least on Uber Eats not sure if it's the same in-store. The home fries usually hold their own, which is why I sucked it up and got 'em, but that's robbery for a product that costs under $1 in ingredients to make.
You can get 3 strips of bacon on the same menu for around $3.50, but I don't know any grocer where you will find bacon cheaper than potatoes. Weird pricing, and honestly much of the menu is overpriced even for Brickell.
So for my $8 + tax, today I was served a big mound of cold and very much undercooked potatoes as a thank you for paying the exorbitant price and being a loyal customer. Nice.
But wait, there's more...
Got the Little Havana bagel made into a wheat wrap. After a couple small bites I felt an odd pull on my lip that could only be one thing... Longest strand of hair I've ever had in my food. It was in both halves of the sliced wrap.
I called and asked for a manager just to give a friendly, polite heads up. He was nice, but according to him no one in the kitchen has long hair.
If no one in the kitchen has long hair then how tf did a roughly 7-8 inch strand of hair get folded into my wrap that was rolled into wrap paper, placed in a to-go container, and into a bag that was stapled shut??
The food is good, but not good enough to get me past this experience and the poor resolve. I didn't even want money back since I dealt with Uber about that part, but to try and imply the hair didn't come from someone in your kitchen was the big fail. I won't be back.
The level of carelessness from the kitchen for the price is completely unacceptable, and it doesn't sound like management will be investing in hairnets anytime soon.
