Toasted Bagelry & Deli Review - Brickell - Miami - The Infatuation

"We are generally pretty upset with the lack of bagel options in Miami, but if you're craving one and happen to be in or around Brickell, Toasted Bagelry does a decent version. The little shop has a selection of bagel sandwiches named after Miami neighborhoods - like the Little Havana with steak and grilled onions, or the Coral Way Bagel with nova lox and two egg whites. Or you can keep it simple and just grab an everything with as much cream cheese as you can convince them to give you." - Ryan Pfeffer

Google
Toasted in Brickell is a solid spot for a bagel fix. I tried the Nova Lox bagel, and it did not disappoint — fresh ingredients, great flavor, and everything felt high quality. The service was decent — nothing out of the ordinary, but it got the job done. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but that’s to be expected in this area, so no real complaints there. The overall vibe is casual and relaxed, perfect for a quick breakfast or brunch. I wouldn’t call it a destination spot, but I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the mood for a satisfying lox bagel.

Google
I had the guava cream cheese bagel with a latte, and it was pure happiness in every bite. The sweet and creamy guava spread was generously packed between a perfectly toasted, crispy bagel. Such a delightful combination — sweet, warm, and satisfying! Highly recommend if you're looking for something unique and delicious.

What I am about to say should not be taken lightly - This is hands down, the best Bagel spot I have ever been to! From the selection and quality of the Bagels and wide variety of menu offerings, the location and chill & comfy atmosphere to the very personable staff - The Toasted Bagelry & Deli is a great spot for all day breakfast or lunch. Today I had my favorite TigerTail Bagel Sandwich with Jersey Pork Roll. Karla greeted me with a warm smile and was kind and prompt with serving me my breakfast sandwich & tea…Can’t wait to come back!!! 😋🤤😋

Don’t usually leave reviews but Jessica was so rude that I had to. She got our order wrong and charged us twice for an omelette. When we asked her nicely to remove the charge she started yelling at my mother to speak in Spanish. Twice. In addition she told us to “get over it” and told us we should have paid more attention on the screen. Very condescending, began murmuring with her coworker and laughing as this happened. The manager, don’t know his name (blonde man) was kind and stepped in to resolve the issue. He was great. This happened around 7 am, on Saturday, January 11th.

I order a Chicken midtown that is one of the top tens of the shop I felt the chicken was a kind dry and to much sauce for my taste, good presentation nice atmosphere

Google
Hands down best bagels in Miami! And they make their own cream cheese. I love their scallion cream cheese the best and if you’re in the mood for lunch their grilled chicken sandwich on a wrap or bagel is delicious. Their bagels are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Truly NY style. The best! I love the people who work there too! Helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Google
Great and friendly service! Bagel with egg was standard (im from NY originally so no bagel is going to be excellent to me in florida) BUT the croissant was surprisingly amazing! Me and my partner (who is French) both agreed that the execution was fabulous.

Yelp
Best bagels in Miami, a mini New York in the heart of Brickell. Good morning breakfast at its finest

Yelp
Good local vibe. Great selection of bagels. Staff accommodating. Coffee tastes great.

Yelp
If you live in brickell and need a morning bagel sandwich this is probably your best bet. Had a work from home day here with a friend and we walked over mid morning to pick up some breakfast and coffee after ordering online. It's very conveniently located if you are in walking distance and the food was ready right on time. The bagel sandwich itself was pretty good, not the best I've ever had (they could have made it better imo by adding a little butter to the toasted bagel to soften it and add some gooiness) but a solid staple. Prices on par with what you might expect in brickell, ~$15 for a bagel sandwich. The pastries are also pretty good i had the guava! Cheers!

Yelp
I had just flown in overnight on a red eye and was hungry for some breakfast. I had done some research before hand and found Toasted so I ubered right there from the airport. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted by a nice woman (Karla) working there who was super helpful explaining the menu and suggestions. I went with the downtown omelet with ham and a plain bagel with butter. It was a TON of food. The omelet came with giant chunks of delicious ham and veggies. It was the star of the dish. It also comes with a small side of potatoes that were good. It was so much food, I couldn't finish it all. Cute place too! Loved everything about it.

Yelp
Good friendly service. If you're looking for a great breakfast bagel. After almost a week of searching for a good bagel I finally found Toasted Bagelry Deli. Lovely place that deserves to be promoted.

Yelp
Best in the state of Florida. Got a dark poppy with a schmear of scallion and it was delish.

Yelp
Ordered delivery from Toasted Bagelry and had a decent breakfast - We both ordered a sausage egg and cheese on an everything (Tiger Tail Bagel), and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. We got one SEC, but the other bagel was a Bacon, egg and cheese. It was still tasty, but not what I ordered. The bagels were okay, but weren't the best I've had in Miami. Decent enough for a quick breakfast. The smoothie was also a little disappointing. It tasted like plain banana until we took a spoon and mixed the strawberry drizzle into the mix. Will try eating here again and hopefully can give a better review next time :)

Yelp
My order: Normandi Lox on everything bagel. Food: The bagel sandwich was balanced very well, the lox salmon itself was delicious. The bagel however was a bit touch, but the flavor was there. This menu item was a bit on the pricier side however, but it was a pretty big sandwich. It came with a dill pickle, also delicious, and a choice between chips or a banana. Service: Excellent service, respecful and attentive. Was greeted with a smile the moment I walked in and asked me if I had any questions or wanted to look at a physical menu. The food came out quickly as well! Ambiance: Nice place to sit and grab a quick coffee of breakfast. Some tables and bar seats inside. Average interior. Other things to note: No dogs allowed unless service animal. Contactless payment available Would I go back? Yes.

Yelp
$9.61 for a bagel with cream cheese and a cup of coffee?....are you fkn kidding me? Talk about taking advantage of inflation to price gouge. Think I'm making this up?....Bagelsmith in Brooklyn, NY charges $7.85 for the same; a friend who owns a bagel shop in San Diego charges $6.69. You mean to tell me Miami is the only place that has seen an increase in costs and those two other cities do not pay high rent? Gimme a break. Are we to believe costs went up 50% or is it because Toasted is the only game in town?... I'll save my bagel fix for out of town visits from now on. Oh, I can afford $9.61--I'm just not a schmuck. You will notice I have updated my reviews of Toasted a number of times--each time downward, reflecting how this place has changed (and not for the better).

Yelp
Delicious, freshly made bagels, only part that was unfortunately was that they ran out of croissants!

Amanda S.

Yelp
Not good. The best way I can describe the food is, airport food. The bagel with egg and cheese was about 95% bagel and 5% egg and cheese... where is the egg? The muffins are so small, they should be priced closer to $2, not $5. The side of bacon was so undercooked, I actually had to cook it myself on the stove to make it edible.

Yelp
Ordered the bacon, cheese, egg on an everything bagel with a cold brew. It was a very filling breakfast- probably would skip the cold brew next time.

Yelp
Door says they open at 7:00am. It's 7:30 and all lights are off and you see employees inside talking but nobody opens. Update the time at the door. Several people tried the door and left. I am one of them. We went to Rosetta around the corner. Owner should be careful with who he hires, losing business.

Yelp
The absolutely worst pastrami sandwich I've ever had in my life. First, they used whole grain bread instead of rye. Then they forgot the Swiss cheese (not a big deal) but the most unacceptable thing was it only had 3 tiny, wafer thin slices of pastrami that were heated to the point of being dry... guessing they just microwaved it.

Natalie N.

Yelp
Best bagel I've ever had. Cream cheese and bagels are fresh and real. Friendly service, quiet fun environment. Amazing.

Yelp
Very nice- staff is very friendly and order was prompt. Worse part is no parking but we were able to do street parking about a block away

Antwon M.

Yelp
I was waited for 15 minutes before someone greeted me. The service continued to be bad by I waited another 20 min for a bagel sandwich. People who order after me got their order before me. I will not comeback. Bad service.

Maria M.

Yelp
Just stopped by for the first time and I found this business to be dishonest. The menu they gave me had all the prices crossed out so it was hard to know what cost what. I ordered the Hobie Beach which is a simple egg and cheese to which I added bacon. Instead they marked it as the Tigertail while confirming to me that I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich two times. I noticed when I got home the different name on the receipt and got curious so I looked online and saw that the Tigertail is almost twice the price of the Hobie Beach. I called them immediately and they said I would have to come back and show I did not eat it to get it fixed. Eventually, they said they would void and charge me for the correct sandwich instead by asking for my credit card over the phone. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Make sure you double-check your receipt when you order.

Yelp
Been 2 times when in the area. Fast service, good food. Seems they are mostly carry out as there are limited tables. Will go back!

Keri A.

Yelp
Really good bagels and coffee. As a 30 yr New Yorker, was happy to find a place here with great bagels. Staff in Brickell is really nice and music is cool too, nice reggae playing. Coffee is very good and includes different flavor syrups. Very happy with my bagel and coffee!
google avatar

Yelp
Very good Bagel crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside. The coffee was hot but a bit weak. The people who work here are very friendly. Called chill. The place inside has a good vibe. Parking could be a mission. Only street parking and very limited.

Yelp
The staff was all very nice. Inside does not have a lot of seating but the bagel sandwich was so good. The food came out pretty quickly.

Yelp
Eat at your own risk. Was a spot I would've recommended... until they created a rather ::hairy:: situation for me this morning. For starters, I dropped bank on the side of home fries -- which cost a wild $8 nowadays for some unknown reason, at least on Uber Eats not sure if it's the same in-store. The home fries usually hold their own, which is why I sucked it up and got 'em, but that's robbery for a product that costs under $1 in ingredients to make. You can get 3 strips of bacon on the same menu for around $3.50, but I don't know any grocer where you will find bacon cheaper than potatoes. Weird pricing, and honestly much of the menu is overpriced even for Brickell. So for my $8 + tax, today I was served a big mound of cold and very much undercooked potatoes as a thank you for paying the exorbitant price and being a loyal customer. Nice. But wait, there's more... Got the Little Havana bagel made into a wheat wrap. After a couple small bites I felt an odd pull on my lip that could only be one thing... Longest strand of hair I've ever had in my food. It was in both halves of the sliced wrap. I called and asked for a manager just to give a friendly, polite heads up. He was nice, but according to him no one in the kitchen has long hair. If no one in the kitchen has long hair then how tf did a roughly 7-8 inch strand of hair get folded into my wrap that was rolled into wrap paper, placed in a to-go container, and into a bag that was stapled shut?? The food is good, but not good enough to get me past this experience and the poor resolve. I didn't even want money back since I dealt with Uber about that part, but to try and imply the hair didn't come from someone in your kitchen was the big fail. I won't be back. The level of carelessness from the kitchen for the price is completely unacceptable, and it doesn't sound like management will be investing in hairnets anytime soon.

Yelp
Always delish! I love the tigertail with turkey sausage and jalapeno cream cheese. Or the blueberry bagel is so good. The coffee is great and very strong when you get the iced coffee cubes! Cant go wrong here!
google avatar

Rachael G.

Yelp
After reading about the bagel sandwiches their place offers, I knew I had to stop in and try them. So I got a Normandi Lox on an Asiago bagel with chips; I also ordered two hot coffees. The sandwich was very delicious similar to any smoked salmon sandwich you can order. The place was small and pretty crowded, but we managed to find a seat by the front entrance to enjoy our coffee and bagel sandwich.

Yelp
We came here for a quick breakfast on a Friday. The place is hoppin but worth the trip. It's a cute lil cafe with friendly staff and yummy food. Bagels are toasted to perfection. And the wraps are good too.

Yelp
These are my favorite bagels in Miami! Not only are the bagels nice and tasty, the service is usually great. I usually get a toasted bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. Usually wash it down with their delicious ice coffee. I usually go on the weekend and there are usually plenty of tables to eat inside.

Navi S.

Yelp
As a New Yorker, I can definitely say this bagel made me feel at home. Quick rundown of what we ordered: - 2 everything bagels with bacon egg and cheese with salt pepper and ketchup - 2 iced coffees (self pour but really cool coffee ice cubes) - Fresh squeezed Orange juice (with pulp) The bagel itself was amazing! The bacon egg and cheese were also made just right. I probably shouldn't have asked for the salt and pepper because it was slightly in the saltier side; however, I take responsibility for that because it was requested. Iced coffee was amazing. Good way to wake up. Fresh orange juice? Who doesn't want that.....especially after a long night out! Tasted like they literally just squeezed an orange in the kitchen.

Yelp
Excellent bagels and smoothies. Cappuccino was also really good. Great and nice welcoming staff. The croissants are also very good. We tried the Nutella and also the guaba with cream cheese ! Definitely we will come back.

Yelp
Still one of mg favorite breakfast places in Brickell! Authentic middle eastern style bagels, fresh food, outstanding service - must try if you are in Brickell!
google avatar

Yelp
Great spot. Passed this trying to go to another place but did a uturn and very glad! Everyone was super nice, service was incredibly quick and everything was delicious. Had a sausage egg and cheese on a plain bag, a multigrain bagel w strawberry cream cheese, a piece of vanilla crumb cake and an almond scone. Oh, and an espresso. Everything was clean. Fast. Can't ask for anything better. Bagels were better than other "New York bagel" spots back home. Would def visit again if I was local!
google avatar

Sofia B.

Yelp
The best bagel place in Brickell. They have all the bagels and cream cheese you can think off. 100% recommended

Dylan M.

Yelp
best breakfast spot in brickell! and the ice coffee with the coffee cubes are my favorite.

M B.

Yelp
Best bet in Brickell for a bagel breakfast. It's solid, not like NYC but will definitely work and really it's as good as you can find in the area. When you need that bagel, this is the spot.
google avatar

Shawn T.

Yelp
Passed by on a jog this morning, stopped in, looked like a great local joint to get a breakfast sandwich! Swung by when I finished and got a bacon, egg and cheese on a sesame with an iced coffee! Glad

Maybelyn R.

Yelp
Great, satisfying meal (downtown omelette). Nice ambience, music is loud so not the best for WFH.

Lindsey A.

Yelp
Amazing bagel spot! Super friendly service and great ambiance. Highly recommend! Fresh Bagels

Daniel P.

Yelp
Service was nice people were nice the vibe of the restaurant was very good food was great perfection i had a ruben sandwich my brother had a bagel with cream cheese and my dad had a everything bagel with chives a great restaurant I would recommend to anyone we can all agree these are New York worthy.

Rick H.

Yelp
The food is okay but any chance of it being good is tainted by the employees. They messed up my order and refused to remake it for me even though the order cost me extra because it was a speciality cream cheese. I think the only reason they do well is because they are basically the only place to get a quick bagel in Brickell. It's worth driving out of Brickell just not to go here.
google avatar

Maryam K.

Yelp
They used to be great. 5-6 years ago they were new and it was prior to the expansion of the business. Everyone would line up in brickell for breakfast. The quality has gone down for sure. If you're a NYer looking for your bagel fix you'll be disappointed but you have to try it for yourself.

Anthony H.

Yelp
Best breakfast spot in brickell. highly recommended just perfect. the service amazing. If u live at Bickel this is ur best bet.

Polina K.

Yelp
Ridiculous & gross. So first they didn't give us straws for the frozen Frappuccino... currently eating a Frappuccino with a spoon. And then I bite into my bagel and pull out a LONG DARK BROWN HAIR from my bagel. Definitely not suggest giving this place a try.
google avatar

Yelp
I walked in being in a rush in the middle of emails, calls... work - plus snapping some quick pictures for yelp, when I ordered my Lincoln Rd panini to go. The person at the counter should tone down the attitude a little as it's almost making me feel as I'm a burden. The panini sounded and looked good in the previous yelp users their pictures. You can choose for a banana or chips on the side. I asked for a banana. I after also ordered a smoothie. I sit down waited for my order. The smoothie was really yum. Shortly after I receive my bag and run out. When I later on open my order, there's no napkins neither banana. I guess this is a self serve place, if I only knew... Panini was not really a panini. It was stuffed flatbread. It had 2 which is nice. Chicken was really good. Overall ok but mediocre. I will not go back - unless they give me 2 bananas next time lol, just jk: I'm not going back.

Oksana R.

Yelp
Absolutely do not go here. This place is a disgrace to all NJ and NYC bagel fans alike. This probably is the closest you'll get to a tri-state bagel, but their quality has gone down in the last year. Rushed stacking, poor quality vegetables, and unable to follow instructions in order details. All of that would be fine I guess if the last three times I ordered from them they didn't mess up my order by not forgetting avocados (surcharge of $2), forgetting meat (another $2+ surcharge), or jsut giving me the wrong order in general with the correct receipt. On top of charging extra for every single ingredient added Today was the last straw. I'm allergic to dairy and specifically put "no cheese" on my order with a sesame seed bagel. They not only gave me an Asiago bagel, but again, had less than the amount of ingredients expected. When I walked back to them for my pick-up order, no one attempted to help and that the person who could was "busy eating." ?? Finally when I assume the manager came out, he lied and said he tried to call us and leave a message (we received neither a call, or a voicemail, or a text), and then said he has no more bagels and can't give a giftcard or voucher. Curious because their app and website allows to input coupon codes, so I'm sure that more could have been achieved through that use. Either way, they did refund us after arguing and lying, but I will never go back to this place. You're better off going to Starbucks which has better bagels at this point and far better customer service.

Jackie L.

Yelp
Pricey! Whatever menu I viewed online and what I saw in person were different. I ordered an omelet which came with a bagel, but upgrading from butter to cream cheese was $1.99. A cafecito costs $3.99. The omelet was pretty tasty and the bagel was very large, but didn't have a great texture in my opinion.
google avatar

Andres J.

Yelp
In the past, Toasted has usually done well with their quality as well as quantity provided. My most recent order was unsatisfactory as I was given a minimal amount of food. The price paid was not worth what was provided to me. A total of four 836 protein wraps were ordered and all looked the same as the one pictured.

Jesse S.

Yelp
Just paid $3 extra for cream cheese with my bagel. That's right: at a restaurant dedicated to bagels, it costs $3 extra to get cream cheese. More than that, I was a loyal customer at the Coral Gables location for many years. The owner must have seen me 100 times and never once smiled or or asked me what my name was, much less give me a free bagel or coffee or anything... It's no wonder Toasted, as of this writing, has a 3.5 star rating and the owner doesn't respond to any reviews. Do you know how difficult it is to get a rating that low on yelp? You really have to try.
google avatar

Marta E.

Yelp
Just ordered a Ruben sandwich and it was horrible. Never again! First of all there was more bread than meat in the sandwich. The bread was soggy in the middle and the edges where hard and rubbery. No sauerkraut and an overload of thousand island. It taste like it was microwaved. Horrified it cost $20! Do not order from here if you want a good sandwich.
google avatar

Fii M.

Yelp
I love bagels. I love bread. Hell, I love carbs! So when I say I know my breads, believe me, I know my breads. I came here on a Saturday morning on my way to the Farmer's Market. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese on an Asiago bagel, orange juice, and an iced latte. The staff was very attentive. Everyone was super helpful and nice. I noticed there were people working from the coffee shop, which is a nice plus because I am a remote employee and love finding places I can work from! The ambiance is also really industrial and I love the huge neon sign. Definitely feels like a piece of NY in Miami. The food was made to order and very tasty! The bagel was very savory and delicious. My coffee was also great and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. They do offer both almond and soy milk which is a plus! Although the price was a little higher than bagel places I've been to up north, I think it's worth a shot to check out, especially since it's not easy finding good bagels in the area. If you're in the Brickell area, come here to try one of their tasty bagels!
