If you are a group of 2, 4, or 6, I highly recommend Toasted Crust's "Crust & Cork" pizza-making class where participants learn to make pizza from scratch. Chef Mike is an excellent and patient teacher (I accidentally put a hole in my first dough and he quickly got me another one). He gave clear instructions and is easy going. You get to pull the dough, dress the pizza, add wood to the fire, and cook and cut the pizza. Other staff members were friendly and made sure everyone in our party felt welcome. Overall, it's a great atmosphere and activity for a night out.
As for the food, we had a good selection of meats, cheeses, and veggies, along with different sauces, for our pizzas. While Chef is directing the group, he makes sure all pizzas come out on time. The wood-fired pizza tasted fantastic! We also had a focaccia bread appetizer, served with sweet overnight tomatoes and fresh pesto that was killer. We didn't get the beignets, but saw several other tables ordered them and they looked great.
Pizza-making class or not, this is a excellent spot for a fun night out. We went with my wife's parents and the other pair in our group was a mom and son. The class would also make for a fun date.
