"In a city brimming with breakfast and lunch concepts, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill owner Sami Ladeki is banking his new concept will make Spring Valley feel like the weekend every day. Launched in Carlsbad, California, earlier this year, Toast Gastrobrunch is already hiring staff for a second location, taking roost on Flamingo Road. Expected to be open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sammy's executive corporate chef Alfred “Alfie” Szeprethy is a Gastrobrunch partner and will also oversee a menu featuring traditional classics and inventive new dishes including duck confit, or lobster and mashed avocado on toast, eggs in purgatory served in a sourdough bread bowl and Southern fried chicken pancakes. Specialty drinks include a lavender lemonade Mimosa, pisco sours, and blackberry, peach, or blood orange Bellinis. The Las Vegas restaurant will be designed with 'Instagrammable spots both in and outside the restaurant,' the company says.
