Toast. Elevated. Who knew that was even possible, let alone a thing? We wanted a healthy start to a day of exploring. Toastique rocked it. Service was exceptional, food incredible. Soooo much better than the usual breakfast options that are all around.

Google
The salmon toast was incredible. Superfruit smoothies were delicious too, but overall a very positive experience. Place is minimalist inside but fresh, clean and bright. Food was phenomenal, 10/10 would recommend.

Google
This place reminds me of Pura Vida Miami. The customer service here is great, really nice staff and ambiance! Just know it can take time to get your order. There’s a good amount of seating too if you wanted to bring your laptop. I’d suggest passing on the matcha, it was a hard sip, next time I’d order food/smoothies- which is what they’re known for.

Google
Delicious! And the juices are great as well! Adding to my lunch rotation.

Mariana Rosa M.

Google
I had a great time here. The toast was delicious. The ingredients were fresh, they were able to make changes to adapt to allergies requests. I will definitely come back! I recommend the açaí bowl and the burrata and greek toasts!

Google
If you're looking for healthy, fresh, and flavorful options, Toastique is the perfect place. They offer a variety of smoothies, juices, bowls, and toasts, all beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can also add extra protein for a small additional cost, making it a great choice for a filling yet nutritious meal. The restaurant was clean and not too crowded, with a calm atmosphere. While the seating was decent, it wasn’t the most comfortable—there wasn’t much space to keep your belongings. However, the polite and attentive staff made the experience pleasant. Overall, highly recommend for a wholesome and satisfying meal! 10/10 for presentation, taste, and quality.

Google
I had an amazing experience at Toastique! The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and has a clean, modern aesthetic that makes it a great spot to grab a healthy meal. I ordered the Avocado Smash Toast, which was fresh and beautifully presented. The watermelon radish, marinated tomatoes, and microgreens added the perfect touch of flavor and texture. I also tried the Matcha Smoothie, which had a refreshing blend of spinach, kale, banana, mango, matcha, hemp seeds, flax seeds, coconut water, and lime—a delicious and energizing drink that wasn’t overly sweet. To top it off, I had coffee with almond milk, which paired perfectly with my meal. The service was friendly and efficient, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. Whether you’re into healthy eating or just looking for a great breakfast or brunch option in DC, Toastique is a must-visit. Highly recommend! #HealthyEats #Toastique #AvocadoToast #MatchaSmoothie #DCBrunch

Google
We were here before a concert at The Anthem stadium. We had two of the gourmet toast options and one of the acai choices, as well as a smoothie and power drink. We ate in the restaurant. The food and drinks were good- tasty and fresh. The server seemed somewhat put out by our presence. And the juice mixer was super loud and disruptive while in the restaurant. So this is probably better as a to-go place than dine in. It was fine enough, but we won't rush back.

Yelp
Toastique is one of my favorite quick lunch restaurants. Most items on their menu follow the vegan restrictions, so vegan lovers this is for you! My meal today: Super Green Smoothie w/protein Soup of the day: crab soup Honestly, the smoothie was extremely filling and satisfying. I believe it's made with fresh fruits and vegetables but I'm unsure (next time I visit I'll update this post with my findings). The crab soup was so flavorful. Packed with onions, carrots, celery, chunks of crab, and coconut milk for the base. I normally take my meal to go but the inside is very welcoming. I'm a fan, and proud of it!

Yelp
Boujee avocado toast? Count me in. Several options for avocado toast - all with different bread combinations. I went with the Avocado Smash which was plentiful and photographed beautifully. I was worried about the chili oil, but it wasn't too spicy. I was disappointed that to add an egg it could only be poached or hard boiled. The Mango Tango bowl was super refreshing - would be great for summer. Nice size. The gingerberry smoothie was a perfect ginger, fruity mix. Staff really only took our order, but it was quick and easy. The inside is cutely decorated and simple. You clean up and return plates to a return station. Overall, it was great for a quick bite, but pricey $41 for our 3 things.

Yelp
This was kind of an impulse stop. Their sign advertised a seasonal cherry blossom smoothie that sounded good. They also had a lovely cherry blossom toast. It seemed as though maybe the lunch rush had just finished. Tables were dirty so I had a hard time finding somewhere to sit. But my cherry smoothie was delicious - not too sweet and perfectly refreshing. The toast was spectacular! Cherry aoli with brie and turkey, with a sweet cherry compote and microgreens. Drop in and enjoy a delicious celebration of cherry blossom season.

Yelp
Before we checked out of our hotel down the street and hopped on the Metro to catch our flight at the airport, we had breakfast first at Toastique where I enjoyed a lovely smoked salmon avocado toast with a nitro iced cold brew. The location is very clean and everything is made meticulously and with care. The coffee helped bring me out of slumber while the servers behind the counter prepared our food. I found the avocado toast wonderful with the smoked salmon complimenting well. The establishment is a good spot to order some breakfast if you need something relatively fast and are in the mood for avocado toast, a bowl, a smoothie, or some oats. Additionally, because my wife is celiac, they have a lot of gluten-free options to take advantage of, which she did. And it's location on Maine Street is within walking distance from the Wharf and where we stayed at the Citizen M hotel.

Yelp
I got an açai bowl here with peanut butter and blueberry that was quite good. The topping also included granola, chopped dates, and banana. The others in my group got various toasts and other bowls and we enjoyed all of them. I just wish there were more locations!

Yelp
Toastique offers a delightful take on avocado toast that's sure to please avocado aficionados. The toast is perfectly toasted, and the avocado is mashed to creamy perfection, topped with a variety of fresh and flavorful ingredients. I wouldn't recommend trying to eat this at your desk. Nonetheless, Toastique's commitment to quality ingredients and creative combinations make it a top choice for a satisfying and healthy breakfast or brunch option in the city.

Yelp
OVERALL: decent breakfast spot. A bit overpriced for what you get but that's standard for DC. Service is slow. FOOD: We got the avocado toast and an açaí bowl with protein. Both were very standard - good but nothing extraordinary. SERVICE: I came here over the weekend after spin class and it wasn't packed but we did wait quite some time to get our food. VENUE: the establishment looks nice and clean

Yelp
Toastique is such a clever name! This trendy brunch place is the cutest. Seemed kid friendly too. We found it through Yelp loooking for gluten free friendly places. I had the option to get any of the toast items GF because it looks like they had udis bread on hand. This place checks every box except my smoked salmon came out to be about $18.70 without tip.( I got gluten free bread for $2.)So this place is a little pricey but I am hoping because they use exceptionally fresh and organic ingredients. Then sometimes it's worth the price. The menu had other healthy options such as smoothies and açaí bowls that were rich in color and nutrient dense ingredients such as yogi berries, flax seed, hemp seed, cacao powder, ginger shot etc... Fresh juice is here! Who doesn't love a healthy boost of antioxidants that tastes sweet. I love the options this place has. To get the most out of this place read over the menu in detail and take your time to order. We would return if we had a longer stay.

Yelp
Amazing avocado smash toast with crab! $22 with tax and tip, but sooooo worth it. The Balance cold pressed juice has me feeling extra balanced as we head into the holidays. Very clean restaurant and pleasant staff. Hit this spot, for sure!
google avatar

Yelp
A little bit pricey for toast. The tomato buratta was good and the balsamic vinegar was spot on with the flavor. The 3 cheese Italian was good but wish there was more of the jalapeño in the cheese. The prosciutto on top was a small miss due to being heated up. I think it would be a great dish without the prosciutto.

Yelp
my husband I had breakfast on our last day in DC. This was a short walk from our hotel room. The toast was really good. I like that they had gluten-free options. I also ordered a green Matcha tea drink that was quite tasty. Everything was fresh healthy feel to it. I would definitely go visit again. I wish they had one down here by me in Palm Beach.

Yelp
After my experience today on 6/8 at 10:45 am I likely will never be back. The foods good but the staff and operations were awful... my to go order said 20 mins.. I got there after my order said it would be ready and it was chaos. They were turning people away and they weren't even busy. Waited over an hour and finally left.. really sad it wasn't like my first experience here at all.

Yelp
The recharge (juice) and blue mystique (smoothie) are my all time favorites when I come here. Everything within blend really well together and make for a delicious beverage. The design of Toastique is my absolute favorite. Really pretty art and friendly workers.

Yelp
This is my second or third time coming to Toastique at The Wharf DC location. The food there is really good, and although the gourmet toasts/drinks are pretty pricey, you will leave FULL. The Food & Drink: - I ordered the Smoked Salmon (Lox) Toast but swiped out the cream cheese spread with an avocado spread. I added a poached egg on top. It was quite delicious, and no crumbs were left behind. The bread edges were a bit hard to cut (I highly suggest Toastique utilizing silverware knives instead of plastic ones). Besides that, the toast was very good and filling. Just a warning, the toasts comes VERY LOADED, so you will get your money's worth. Ideally, come in when you're hungry. They serve the toast on what appears to be wooden cutting boards as trays. It's a nice touch, I must say. - I also ordered the Gingerberry Smoothie. It is quite delightful & delicious. Honestly, I ordered it because of its bright fusia color. Toastique also offers cold pressed drinks, tea, and a decent variety of acai bowls. I do recommend this place and look forward to exploring the menu some more. The staff seem friendly and accommodating too. As many may know, The Wharf DC parking can be irritating, so ideally, come to Toastique for breakfast (after rush hour) or lunch during the weekdays. Parking becomes ample around that time. You can also metro to the location, but the walk may be about 10 to 15 minutes from Waterfront Metro. I think it's close to L'Efant Metro station too.

Yelp
My friend and I came to Toastique for breakfast on our last day in DC. We were looking for a quick breakfast spot and Toastique definitely delivered on that. The food was good, nothing special, and perhaps a little bit overpriced. I got the Smoked Salmon Toast and it was beautifully decorated/garnished, just like the pictures they show on their menus. That was impressive and a sight to behold, only to be slightly disappointed that the food didn't taste as stunning as it looked. But it still tasted good and was a solid breakfast! This Toastique is located at the wharf right on the Potomac River and it was a lovely location to grab that quick breakfast and then stroll along the wharf checking out all the other assortment of shops and restaurants here!

Yelp
We were in the mood for something refreshing and this hit the spot. We found it to be a little bit on the pricier side. We ordered the matcha bowl and green machine smoothie. The matcha bowl could have used more matcha and the green machine smoothie was a bit more sour than anticipated. The aesthetic of the store was nice.
google avatar

Shannon S.

Yelp
I ordered a juice, it was called Radiance. It was very delicious and refreshing. The service was good, it's a beautiful establishment, I like the aesthetics. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
google avatar

Lora K.

Yelp
The smoked salmon toast was delicious. I loved the beautiful vibrant colors of our food. The green juice was great too, a little wateted down tasting. I only wish they'd ask customers if they want ice in their juice before, as I wouldn't think to even ask to have juice with out ice, as I am used to it being made fresh on spot. These are however, in a machine kept cold. I was not in the mood for anything cold, so luckily they remade my cup with out ice after I asked. Would love to see some kind of soup on the menu for those cold/rainy days. Overall good experience and will be back.

Yelp
The toast at Toastique is a delightful experience. It's delicious, amazingly flavorful, and incredibly soft yet crunchy. Each bite melts in your mouth, and the subtle sweetness with a hint of buttery richness is a perfect balance. Highly recommended! Rating: (5/5 stars)
google avatar

Carol S.

Yelp
The food is very good, but, whoever manages or owns this place needs to get in their and train their staff how to move quicker. It is PAINFULLY SLOW and that alone will make me not go back. I really hope they can fix it

Yelp
I finally decided to visit the Wharf after living in DC for about a year! My first stop was Toastique for a healthy dinner prior to watching a show at the Arena Stage. I did a little research on Yelp and this spot had great reviews. I ordered the smoked Salmon that had Smoked Pastrami Salmon, Herb Cream Cheese Spread, Thinly Sliced Cucumbers ,Toast Seasoning - Put together on a Sourdough Toast. This dish was really a mouthful! It's beautifully organized, ingredients are fresh and there is no guilt after stuffing your face because it is healthy. I washed my meal down with a smoothie called Blue Mystique that had Blue Majik (Spirulina), Banana, Pineapple, Mango, Almond Milk. This drink is so sweet, but not overpowering and it's well balanced. I enjoyed the Toast as well as my smoothie and would probably come here again. My only criticism is that it is a tad pricey. Any Toast north of $7-8 range is too much even if it is called "Gourmet", it's just a slice of bread, lol. The smoothie and toast together will cost you somewhere around $30. Good spot overall, give it a try and let me know what you think!! -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT

Yelp
Gotta hand it to them - they have the good type of compostable straws - not the junky paper ones. The oats could have had more toppings and it should have been in a bowl to give us more space to mix. Service was great at the counter. Loved the living wall - and they were real plants! My PB Toast was delicious and looked just as good as it tasted. Presentation was impeccable - 10/10 - no complaints there. Can't wait to come back to try more!

Sarah M.

Yelp
We tried the toast and they were great! Lots of flavor and many options to try. The slice of toast was huge and worth the money that you pay. Also have some drinks and coffees on the menu.
google avatar

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Although a little pricey, name an establishment at the Wharf that isn't... We stopped here for breakfast and enjoyed the fresh ingredients and healthy menu. A great way to start the day before sightseeing and museums. Both the Salmon and the Tuna toasts were flavorful but not overpowering, with enough citrus and other ingredients to balance the strong fishy flavors. The bowls were filling and not overly sweet. I loved the attention to sustainability as well, evidenced through the cutlery, packaging, and recycling options. The next time I'm looking for breakfast in this area, I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Letisha W.

Yelp
Yummy smoothies!! Service was eh but the smoothies were good. This place has a live plant wall that was cool. Definite conversation starter but staff wasn't really into talking about it lol. Service was kinda blah for it's higher priced tho quality items.
google avatar

Alexa S.

Yelp
Delicious, upscaled toast! I got the 3 Cheese Italian & every part of it was amazing. My boyfriend got the Smoke Salmon & he said it was very good. They also have juices, I chose the Cure: Pineapple, apple, spinach. Very refreshing. My boyfriend tried their Nitro Cold Brew, he said it was best nitro he has had so we will be back! Small seating options available inside. If decide to eat there, they bring out your board of toast to your table. Fast service and very friendly.
google avatar

Stephanie J.

Yelp
I was excited to try this gourmet toast and juice bar. It was the OG Acai Bowl with a juice (the Radiance) for my husband and the Avocado Smash topped with an egg and a juice (the Cure) for me. I liked that you could sample the juices before committing, it made the decision so much easier. This spot was really good but it is pricey.
google avatar

China D.

Yelp
I really love their smoothies and cold pressed juices. I love that every location is consistent in flavor, quality, customer service and decor. I usually go to the Navy Yard one since it's close to my job and I pop in for breakfast. I haven't ordered their toasts yet but I definitely want to try it soon!
google avatar

Sarena R.

Yelp
Boujee toast experience, prices fit that. Smoothie was amazing as the base of the açaí bowl. Husband wasn't the biggest fan of his toast entree. Probably won't come back but glad we got the experience. I prefer this location to the Alexandria one.
google avatar

Maya D.

Yelp
Mango Tango: A fantastic bowl. Not much to say about it, the description says it all. The apricot wasn't necessary to me, but great bowl. The line was a genius touch I didn't know I needed. I will definitely get it again.
google avatar

Jenelle G.

Yelp
Looking for a breakfast that'll please most everyone ? Toastique has smoothies, fresh juices, açaí and smoothie bowls , as well as hearty filling toasts. Coming from California I've had my fair share of avocado toasts that can be lackluster, but DC knows what it's doing with this place. I originally came in for the crab toast (crab is a must when you're in the DMV) but they were out that morning so I had the 3 cheese Italian that was stacked with cheese, tasty caramelized onion marmalade jam, and "thick" cuts of prosciutto cheese topped with arugula. The prosciutto was hearty in that it was thicker than it should be that it was almost like ham but with the salty taste but pires well with the onion jam and cheese. The cheese was heavy and melted beautifully so a tip I would do for next time is to order the toast more toasted than they typically would do. I also had a blue magic smoothie to trick myself I had a healthy-ish morning. I would eat here again and again next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Crista K.

Yelp
Food was wonderful! The flavors were wonderful and service as great. I wish we lived closer!
google avatar

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Needed a quick smoothie to get my day started while the smoothie was great the service was far from quick actually it was extremely slow to a point where I was like this was completely unnecessary slow for no reason. They had enough employees to move quickly but they were just working one drink at a time in a extremely slow pace which is unacceptable for rush hour time I waited 30 minutes for a VERY basic smoothie and the store wasn't even busy. Don't come here if you need anything quickly for on the run.
google avatar

Mat R.

Yelp
Redeemed. Update to my previous review. The toasts totally rock and though I still didn't love the smoothies, the avocado toast is amazing.
google avatar

Marian K.

Yelp
I ordered the açaí bowl online and went to the location to pick it up. Found out that I actually ordered it from the Navy Yard location in error. The employee was so kind and generous that she made my order without charging me. This was so sweet that I teared up walking back to my car. She didn't have to do that for me, but her act of generosity stayed with me the whole day. The bowl was yummy and filling. It's truly 2 servings. The next day, I ordered the toast via Uber eats @ buy one get one free!
google avatar

Ali Q.

Yelp
Food was just as delicious as it was beautiful. Good service and good vibes. Would recommend.
google avatar

Annie R.

Yelp
If you are looking for a fresh and healthy place to eat, this is the spot for you. We went there on a super hot day. The AC was great Lol. I ordered the green machine smoothie which was refreshing and delicious. And I ordered the avocado smash which was actually very packed with other veggies on top and super good! I felt like I got cured from everything after eating those 2 combos. It's a bit pricier than I would like, so I can't be going too often. But I'll def be back!

C K.

Yelp
Delicious food with a gorgeous location! The service is great with super friendly staff. We ordered the avocado toast, which was amazing. They pile HUGE amounts of smashed avocado on top plus tomatoes! Just be aware that their only coffee option is cold brew. It's one of the worst cold brews I've ever had, which was disappointing. Overall, I'd love to come back!
google avatar

Yi-Hung K.

Yelp
No one should order large juice from here. Regular (16 oz) was 7$ Large (24 oz) cost us 14$? Then why wouldn't I order 2 regular? When we talked to the staff she acted like it's not her business and didn't give a s..t to the issue, just leave her be. The person who did the pricing needs to retake math class from elementary school. (Note: They don't list the price for large juice on their menu or anywhere, be careful for the trap) Won't come back again
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
Best place to eat on the Wharf is here. It can get expensive but this is healthy and it's high quality. Toastique specializes in avocado toast. Hipster douches rejoice. What they also have is lots of juices with supposed benefits like detoxification and stuff. Good stuff to drink and eat. It can get very expensive. This is one of those places that has all these artisan toasts. Avocado is expensive. They put it on toast. It also has many juices to choose from. It's about $8 for a small bottle of it. These advertise certain benefits like revitalization. Maybe if you drink them enough. These are too expensive to consume regularly though. Avocado Smash is one of the toast choices. It's about $12 for pretty much avocado on a piece of toast. There's a few toppings like tomatoes. It's very messy to eat. The taste is pretty good and the avocado they use is fresh but for the amount you get it seems to cost a lot. It has many overpriced items to choose from. Many açaí bowls if you would rather have this instead. The toast is the main thing.

Ericka A.

Yelp
I ordered both of these metabolize bottles today. Clearly something is wrong here. It's usually the green color on the left. When consuming cold pressed juice it's especially important to make sure you get what you asked for and without any contaminants. This is my second time receiving questionable products from this store. I won't order from here again.
google avatar

Mike A.

Yelp
Awesome food and drinks. In from California for 7 days had different bowls, smoothies and oatmeal breakfasts. Never a bad sitting. You got to try this place. Friendly, clean and right on the price.

M D.

Yelp
This place is so good! I had the mini toasts delivered to my office several times in the smoked salmon, spicy crab and caprese flavors and I honestly don't know which one I like more. After having these toasts for breakfast one day, I was still thinking about them at dinner time!
google avatar

Steve C.

Yelp
Wife and daughter had toasts. The toasts were excellent. I had the overnight grains, which were very good and very healthy. The fresh juices were what you'd expect from fresh squeezed juices: great taste and great smells. The cold brew was good.
google avatar

Kylie R.

Yelp
Tried this place out after finishing a run and it was delicious! I got a smoothie bowl, and one of their juice shots. The bowl was a little slow to be ready, but the employee gave me a free juice coupon (without me complaining/mentioning it) for the inconvenience. I decided to come back after another run, but ordered online ahead of time. The approx wait was 20 mins, but it was ready in 15! Also used the free juice coupon and got the Cure which was amazing.
google avatar

Temima N.

Yelp
For the location, it's one of the more mid price / cheaper options on the wharf to grab a bite ! I had the Greek toast which was great! And I believe I had the revive juice? I wasn't feeling great that day so definitely needed a pick me up! Defiantly a cute place to check out!
google avatar

Bree B.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING! We got to meet the owner today and he gave us some special treats to taste like their homemade granola bars and a taste of the iced brew smoothie. The 2 toasts we had I'll be dreaming about until I come back. The spicy crab and the special peach burrata toasts. The cure was our favorite drink. The food was amazing, the ambiance was so wonderful and the service was great! Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Gina W.

Yelp
I love Toastique, although I am not a frequent customer. Always yummy though when I do go. Had the new pineapple and prosciutto open-faced sandwich. It was delicious. Fun flavors and texture with spiced walnuts, too. Worth the trip!
google avatar

Caroline E.

Yelp
We enjoyed our brunch here. The Avocado Smash was my favorite, the chili oil was a nice touch and the avocado and tomatoes were very fresh and tasty. The dragon berry bowl was refreshing, and the peanut butter had a nice cinnamon flavor. We had an almond butter date cup for dessert which was yummy too! Pretty fast service and yummy fresh food!

Natalie K.

Yelp
I got the salmon toast which was delicious. Super cute spot with quick service! They have açaí bowls, smoothies and juices
