To Be Coffee - Review - East Hollywood - Los Angeles - The Infatuation
"Another week, another aesthetically pleasing cafe opening. This one in East Hollywood has hot pink walls and next-level cream-topped drinks moonlighting as desserts, like the banana pudding latte topped with cookie crumbles and the tiramisu latte with cocoa powder. They also have classic coffee drinks made with beans from Kona, plus pastries and breakfast sandwiches.
We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park
They know what people want. They pack the drink with cream and toppings to the brim. The whiskey ice cubes keep the flavor smooth till the last sip. I also tried their matcha latte, and you can tell they use the good stuff—real high-quality matcha.

Drove across town for some 100% kona cold brew after developing a taste for it in Hawaii. Worth the trip!

While the interior is sparse and unassuming, this shop puts out some of the most creative and impressive coffees I have seen in all of LA. I genuinely could not believe how delicious and well composed the pistachio latte was.
Absolute must try, do not pass on this place!

Their coffee is 100% Kona coffee and it's good. Got the cold brew here a week after travelling to the Big Island and it didn't disappoint.

These lattes are soooo good
Cool they use ice typically for whisky so ice doesn’t melt and doesn’t change ur drink s flavor

Tobe is awesome! The employees are extremely friendly and they make beautiful drinks. They have a unique menu with flavors you do not see at other cafes.

The cashier dude in Balenciaga looked at me like he hated me. Also, the worst croissant of my life. And I’ve tried many bad croissants, including USSR ones.

Yelp
$8 huge & fresh breakfast sandwiches?! $7 fun cream top lattes!? Sign me up! The worker was sweet, prices are so cheap for LA, and both the drink and sandwich I tried were amazing.
The Banana Pudding Cream Latte tasted like Vietnamese Coffee with a hint of banana flavor. Breakfast sandwich had a good ratio of ingredients and everything tasted fresh. I hope this place blows up because they deserve it!

Yelp
Such a cozy and friendly coffee shop! I tried their Peanut Butter Latte and Coconut Lava Salt Mocha - they did not disappoint. I would definitely come back to try their other speciality coffees!

Yelp
Delicious coffee and friendly service. The ambiance was comfortable.
I got to try the banana pudding latte & tiramisu cream latte. Both were equally delicious. The banana cream reminded me of a banana cream pie. Same sweetness with the enhancement of coffee and little banana chunks. Try the cream alone at first then mix everything thing up and enjoy it--it's dangerously good. The tiramisu had the iconic cream with chocolate shavings on top. The bold coffee paired well with the cream topping. Check this place out.

Yelp
We were in search of some Kona cold brew after returning from Hawaii and drove 30 minutes through downtown LA since this place has 100% Kona coffee. We weren't disappointed - the cold brew was great and she put in a splash of oat milk for us. The service was friendly and helpful. There is some seating with bright, colorful walls. Parking is down the little road to the right of the shop.

Yelp
Cute place! Got the ice matcha latte and coconut salt mocha with the egg mayo sandwich. Drinks were good, just a warning the matcha isn't sweet, but still good. Haven't tried the egg mayo sandwich but it smells divine. Check it out if you're in the area!

Yelp
Coffee is 100% Kona coffee and it's good. The cold brew is great, but they also have an expanded menu if you're in the mood for something sweeter. The building also has its own dedicated parking lot which is a plus in this neighborhood.
