Tobi Masa

We dined on Christmas eve in 2025 and everything (apart from Miso soup which was rectified) was wonderful from start to end. Service was impeccable and food was absolutely stunning. The decor is beautiful and the hotel is vast! They were really good with our children and we absolutely loved it. Definitely a strong contender in terms of new hotel restaurants in London! Would recommend for a special occasion.

We visited Tobi Masa in October 2025. We had an amazing experience and the service was second to none. I have an allergy and it was extremely well taken care of and considered and food could be adapted as necessary. The management team was wonderful and checked in on our experience. The food, my partner and I agreed, was the best we’ve ever had. We especially enjoyed the Wasabi Tuna and other warm plates. The sushi tasting was also great. Our waiter gave great recommendations on things to try and what worked with our dietary requirements. It was a wonderful evening and felt truly special.

I would say that this restaurant is good but not the best. The sushi was amazing, however question the appetisers and certain dishes. The Beef rice lacked flavour, no salt and basic seasoning missing, a lot for £34 dish. The chicken skewers again, lacking flavour and not the best, missing basic seasoning and punch of flavour. They didn’t have Octopus available, replaced with squid and charged us the same amount, again great taste but felt cheated. The Bluefin Tuna has bits of chewy membrane, however this was replaced with a new dish. The overall restaurant experience and service was amazing, but quality of food was questionable in certain areas as mentioned above. It’s a a lot of money and would have expected much better quality of food for what you pay.

It’s a really nicely decorated and stunning restaurant and the service is immaculate. The robata grill is delicious, the chilled starters are alright - presentation could have been better; the sushi were a complete let down I’m afraid, if you wonder how Tobi Masa in NY could command $700-950 omakase. The Masa toro toro roll were cut in different sizes, the scallop sushi was absolutely uninviting, the tuna were nothing special. We tried to order botan ebi / ama ebi and were told they couldn’t service raw prawns yet, there were also no Petrossian Trout roe (smoked or not smoked). There was only 1-2 bottles of sake in the same menu that is available. I can understand that the restaurant is newly opened, but with the name of Tobi Masa, and as a restaurant in Rosewood, we think the food overall is disappointing.

Visited Yobi Masa last week and had an absolutely excellent experience. The sushi was outstanding - you can really taste the quality in every piece. The fish was incredibly fresh, and everything was prepared with clear attention to detail. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our meal.

I was there with my cousin , had an absolutely refreshing and wonderful time. The food was fantastic and delicious… we were quite impressed by the hospitality and friendly approach by the team, Maricci took special care of us and other team members too took time to explains the dishes. Loved the sushi and dumplings. Must visit to- TOBI MASA !! Kudos to the newly opened restaurant ❤️🫶🏻 already booked for next visit :)

Stunning restaurant, at the gorgeous new rosewood chancery. Menu is wide and varied and has something to suit each person - sushi, salad, grill, hot plates. They have a hidden bar so head early for a drink or explore varied wine menu. Highlights are any of the sushi dishes, the cucumber salad, and fried chicken, and anything tuna related . They don’t skimp on the fish portions or caviar either. One to revisit!

Last week, we went to TOBI MASA for dinner. We started off at the bar with Promise, who provided excellent service, then moved to our table where PG took great care of us. Very unique Japanese cuisine full of surprising drinks and dishes. Overall, a great experience—highly recommended!
