Coasters are cool, ice work is unique, and garnishes feel thoughtful. Glassware is more standard, but that doesn’t distract from the overall presentation. The bar is known for seasonally shifting menus, and every drink feels intentional and concept-driven. Service: 8.5/10 Water is served on arrival. The team is friendly, professional, and attentive, though the bar does fill up fast—reservations are recommended. Prices run above average for Lisbon, and there’s a mandatory 13.5% service charge added to the bill. Overall, service is smooth and consistent with the venue’s elevated positioning.

beautiful atmosphere and so aesthetic. fun and creative drinks that you’d never have anywhere else. had one of the best cocktails of my life and i’ve been in a lot of speakeasy bars around the world. cannot wait to go back and try more cocktails on my next visit to lisbon

One of the top bars in the city and not just that, but female owned!!! Such unique flavors and the main bar top is so gorgeous. Made out of a single block of limestone. I found this gem in 2019 and met the owner, who is a delight and a talented young woman. I loved it so much I had to return this trip as well. A do not miss bar if you know what’s good for you. 😉

A unique and fascinating cocktail program let down entirely by terrible bartenders and bad service, and a bar that feels like a tomb. Look, I like a solid minimalist/modern cocktail bar. I get it. I like the new techniques and creative types of menus and use of ingredients. I do think this whole pretentious hipster vibe can be a good time... when a spot has the drinks and atmosphere to back it up. This place felt wrong from the moment we entered. It was super dark, but that's trendy now. Not a lot of seating, which again, trendy. And it was all tiny, low stools around small tables. Very uncomfortable to be squatting in the dark for any extended period of time. It's a one and done feeling. I had wanted to come here for so long! I followed them on Instagram, loved their marketing, admired their program and I thought the cocktails seemed fantastic. Just my kind of thing. So, I didn't want the first impression and bad seating to spoil it for me. But the experience only got worse. We were purposely ignored for at least 20 minutes, and when I finally did call out politely for service, I got glared at like I was a troublesome child. He reluctantly tossed coasters and menus down and walked away. I get at that moment he was the only one working, and all the seats at the bar were full. But he was far more interested in chit-chatting constantly with those patrons (specifically one man) than serving the rest of the bar. Finally his coworker came but his attitude was even worse. Completely unhelpful, impatient, and rude. He tried to ignore us as much as possible, even when we tried to pay. What a disappointment. By that point, even if the cocktail had been amazing, I couldn't tell (I enjoyed mine, although a friend said hers was the worst tequila drink she's ever had). I was so bummed out by the overall vibes and awful guys working there who seemed to look down on us for no reason. We all couldn't wait to leave. We felt like they hated us. I'm really sad about this because there had been many cocktails on their menu I really wanted to try, but never will now.

Super easy to miss if you’re walking by but this little bar was amazing. super cozy ambiance and all the drinks were phenomenal. they all tasted super smooth and very creative. we tried the unicorn, lion and gorilla

It's not just a bar, it's an experience. Toca da Raposa has that rare energy of a place that is made with a lot of love and care in every detail. I'd like to start by praising the cocktails, which are simply divine! Each drink is a surprise, balanced, creative and made with impeccable technique. You can see that it's not just a drink, it's a little work of art served in a glass. But what really makes this place special are the people. It's beautiful to see the team, Bianca, Vinícius and Pedro, each one flying solo in their role, but creating such a perfect harmony that everything flows with contagious joy. The service is attentive, full of personality and makes you feel at home from the very first moment. Toca da Raposa has the soul of its owners and staff. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants a special evening with incredible drinks and a heart-warming welcome. I'll be back again and again! After all... Who returns, remains a friend! Moody cool cocktail bar (no food or snacks- drinks only but it did have a few non-alcoholic options available). Cocktails have just enough variety but not too many to have to think to hard to choose. Cozy plush seating and cute menu branding.

A very hip and trendy bar with a creative edge. The cocktails are well crafted, I had a cedarwood-infused Negroni, one of their signature classics, and it was fantastic. The staff are friendly, relaxed, and genuinely helpful. You can tell they’re having fun at work, which adds to the overall atmosphere. Worth a stop if you’re looking for a great cocktail in Lisbon!

I stumbled upon this hidden bar tucked away in the city and was immediately struck by its unique drinks menu. Each cocktail was represented by cartoon animals, with a list of spirits underneath. The drinks were fantastic, and I loved the moody ambiance--it's perfect for a date. The interior is very minimalist, which adds to its charm. Highly recommend visiting!

Tucked away in a small street in bairro alto of Lisbon, this place has some delicious cocktails. We tried four drinks, and the descriptions on the menu were accurate. Service was fast and friendly. We came here around 6:30pm on a Saturday night, no line and most tables were open. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! It's small so it's almost luck if you will get a seat or not. They have beautifully crafted cocktails and service is top notch! I had the Anaconda and the Koala. I'd suggest go easy one the dill drops with the Koala. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!

Fun little cocktail bar with an intimate ambiance and great vibe. Came when the bar opened and was seated immediately. The server was patient in explaining the menu and offered great drink recommendations. My favorite bar in Lisbon!

Superb cocktail bar in the Bairro Alto that reminds me of the good places in NYC. Highly recommend. The drinks are on the strong side.

What a cool cocktail bar! It's kind of a speak easy, with no signage outside, just a red light. Walk through the doors and it's a dimly lit, modern bar that feels like you're in a cave. The drinks are all named after animals. Some of them might be really unique and experimental. Some are twists on traditional drinks. We had two rounds, and honestly the second round we might have gone a little too experimental haha. "The monkey" with rum, kiwi and cedar was great. "The chick" which has mustard in it was interesting, but a bit much. It's a little pricier than most other bars we went to, but it's worth the premium for the ambiance and uniqueness of the cocktails. But if you're not too adventurous stick to some do the more middle of the road options.

We really enjoyed this trendy and dark yet surprisingly cozy cocktail bar in the Chiado area. The cocktails were very unique and thoughtfully crafted. We tried the Bonobo (rum, banana, pennyroyal, cedar) and the T-Rex 2.0 (mezcal, coriander, kimchi, pineapple). The Bonobo was interesting--while I really like banana, this particular flavor combination wasn't our favorite. The T-Rex however, was a stunner of a cocktail. I love kimchi, so I was hoping for that funky, fermented punch to show up in my drink, and they did not disappoint. I was floored by how it perfectly balanced with the pineapple and kimchi. They certainly don't shy away from bold flavors here. We couldn't get enough of it and actually ordered another one immediately. The cocktails are pretty fairly priced for how special they are. Don't miss this wonderful bar!

favorite cocktail bar ever. bartenders are cool and know how to make some mean drinks. the cocktails are subtle here, not overly sweet or syrupy, which is why i don't like most cocktails out side of a vodka martini or vodka soda. they do some really cool things here like making whisky into clear vodka and the like. my favorite drink here was the squirrel made with vodka, pistachio, and soda. right up my alley in terms of taste profile. i also had the starling and bee 2.0. the starling was like a martini with almond flavoring. this was my second favorite drink here. the bee 2.0 which was distilled into a clear scotch had a peaty taste to it which i normally don't like, but it was still an extremely well crafted cocktail. the bar has a dark, relaxed ambience and they played some great 90s music. cool patrons as well. if i'm ever in lisbon, i'm definitely coming back here. TOTAL THUMBS UP.

Incredibly cool nightlife bar. Laid back but ultrahip. Drinks are fantastic, and all about 11€ each, but worth every penny. One of our favorite spots in Lisbon. Highly recommend the Viper and the Woodbug. But are wonderful, clever and complex.

A super unique cocktail spot with drinks for those with discerning tastes. Cool tunes and comfy lounges, this is a spot for conversation and maybe a bit of romance. They work to distill their own alcohol and flavor profiles with the machine in the window and the thought and care really translates to the drinks. I would love to return and see what they come up with next!
