A Bar Featuring High-Tech Soccer Games Is Headed to Dallas | Eater Dallas

"A three-story, 56,000-square-foot entertainment venue in Dallas’s Design District slated to open in early 2023, featuring high-tech soccer games that invite players to kick balls at targets across 34 dedicated “boxes.” The site will include four bars and a food program inspired by prominent food cities worldwide, led by food and beverage creative director Ross Clarke (formerly of Fat Duck Experimental Kitchen and a London restaurant consultant). The interactive competitions are designed for all skill levels, from people who’ve never kicked a ball to FC Dallas super fans. The concept began in London with its first location at The O2 in August 2021, was founded by former U.S. international Eddie Lewis, and complements the company’s Toca Sport training centers as the brand pursues rapid expansion (plans for five social venues by the end of 2023)." - Adele Chapin

TOCA Soccer Complex in Carrollton is truly a standout facility for any player, parent, or coach looking for an elite soccer environment. The facilities are immaculate — spacious fields, clean restrooms, well-lit indoor turf, and a professional layout that supports both high-level training and casual play. What really sets TOCA apart, though, is the quality of refereeing and staff. The referees are consistent, fair, and knowledgeable. You can tell they take their role seriously and help create a positive, competitive atmosphere. The entire team running the facility is welcoming, responsive, and clearly passionate about the sport. Highly recommend for families, competitive players, and anyone who loves the game!

This is the worst TOCA center. They constantly neglect to inform teams of game time changes and generally send out the wrong game times. Like other reviews, Ive also been charged unnecessarily. Also..... are they going to credit players for the time they were unable to play while the field was being renovated or did everyone just pay extra for no reason? Overall, terribly ran.

We have been going to TOCA for years and have always enjoyed the experience. The trainers and facilities have been great. Unfortunately, TOCA leadership has changed their policies recently to be very challenging for kids that have full schedules and want to turn their membership “on and off” so they can do training during down soccer times (like summer or winter break). In the past, you could “pause” your membership but new policies require you to only “delay” for 30 (maybe 60 as well) days and will AUTO renew if you don’t call to continue to push out. AND…you have to trust they will not just auto renew without asking which I have recently learned they WILL do (almost $400 without notice) after I explicitly cancelled my membership 2 weeks ago. If TOCA goes back to their old policies, we will likely come back but now, I just feel bad for their trainers and I expect them to lose business (unless they get a cut of the auto-charging, which I doubt). If you give them a credit card, I would be very cautious and check your account.

In terms of indoor facilities, this has a nice concession stand but that is about it. Ive been playing at numerous TOCA facilities for years & the big field at this facility is probably the worst. Additionally, the Referees barely move. Add the subscription service on top of that (monthly fee) and the fact that the season always ends a week after the initial month and it is no longer worth it to play here.

The facility is big and clean. But, our trial class experience was very disappointing. We saw coach Kendra was biased towards couple of kids and giving most of her focus to one kid. Other couple kids were just neglected. Definitely not a healthy environment for growing kids.

Really nice place to have your kids learn and play soccer. There's plenty of parking space on the outside as there is on the inside. There's a main field with a smaller one on the side. There's also a practice area and it has more space in the back where BVB teams practice. Good location overall.

The field is not the best, it has parts that are not properly secured and are lifting up. The field is a decent size which is a plus. They also sell snacks, beer, water, and Gatorade.

Great people and coaches. Very accommodating, easy to schedule and very pleasant to interact with. My daughter has been attending clinics now for almost two months and the progress continues to show on the field! Coaches really care and make learning skills and drills fun for the kids! Thank you all for all you do at TOCA coaches and staff!!
