Quentin Tarantino Takes Big, Boozy Step Towards Reopening Vista Theatre | Eater LA

"Opening July 7 inside the JW Marriott at 1775 S. Clementine Street, Tocca Ferro is billed as an upscale Italian chophouse where I can expect housemade pasta, steaks, plenty of seafood and lots of cocktails under the direction of executive chef Adam Haverland." - Farley Elliott

The restaurant is excellent! The staff was superb, and our waiter did an outstanding job. I had two smoked Old Fashioneds — both were amazing. We started with a tasting appetizer that was awesome, followed by a smoked filet mignon that was cooked to perfection. We finished with a delicious cheesecake. Overall, the experience was excellent! Even though the menu was a bit limited, everything we tried was outstanding.

Google
We had our complimentary breakfast here and the option and variety is great. Had dinner another day, and although the food is pricey, as can be expected for hotel/resort food, the complimentary bread and butter were awesome and probably were the highlight of the meal.

Google
Probably the best steak in the Disneyland area! A nice comfortable yet classic and elegant setting with nice decor. My server was top notch making the experience more enjoyable. Steak cook perfectly and the presentation amazing. This place gets the new generation. A steak served on a hot plate is boring. Highly recommended!

Restaurant is inside the hotel. Food was excellent. I started with the Bruschetta, Then had the Ricotta Gnocchi, and finally the creme Brule. It was all excellent. Pricing ranges from $30-60+. With a glass of wine, my meal was about $90.

Enjoyed dinner and breakfast here during our stay. The Ricotta Gnocchi Carbonara was outstanding! You can add your choice of protein to it; we chose shrimp. The Pepperoni, Burrata, Hot Honey pizza was surprisingly great - I say surprisingly, as I thought the honey would be overpowering, but it balanced the dish perfectly. They provided a complimentary delighter and bread with butter made with their freshly grown herbs. Breakfast was also a homerun; we enjoyed Lemon Ricotta pancakes and Chilaquiles. Service was also exceptional.

I’ve now visited Tocca Ferro twice, and both experiences have been ruined by unexpected parking expenses, poor communication, and management’s complete unwillingness to address the issue. On our first visit, we parked at the nearby Garden mall and received no validation. Staff told us to use valet instead. On our second visit tonight, we followed that advice and used the valet for a one-hour dinner - only to be charged $35 for parking. Here’s the real problem: When we raised this issue with staff, no one took any action to resolve it or even acknowledge the lack of disclosure. The restaurant’s OpenTable listing and website provide zero information about parking costs or validation policies. A $35 parking charge for a one-hour dinner significantly impacts the overall cost and should absolutely be disclosed upfront. This isn’t just poor service - it’s a failure of transparency that feels intentional. As a local resident, I’m warning others: do not patronize this restaurant or the JW Marriott. There are too many excellent dining options in our area where you’re treated with honesty and respect. Until they update their listings with accurate parking information and train staff to actually help guests rather than dismiss concerns, this establishment doesn’t deserve your business or yours.

We met some friends here a little over a week ago. Our friends picked the spot, and I have to admit I wasn't super excited about trying this restaurant just because there aren't a ton of reviews and it's pricey. However, I have not been able to stop thinking about the gnocchi since eating it. It was the best gnocchi I've ever had by a long shot. I didn't realize I loved gnocchi until I had the ricotta gnocchi carbonara. My understanding is it's made with ricotta instead of potatoes which would explain why I'm obsessed with it. It was so fluffy and had some cheese in the center and was beyond perfect. We also had the pepperoni, burrata, hot honey pizza and it was fantastic. Service was fantastic. My only con is that parking is valet only. We spent $15-$20 to park for the evening if I remember correctly. Next time we'll park somewhere free and walk. This is definitely a special occasion spot, but we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Google
Great food! I visited during soft opening. The staff were great!! Probably because it wasn't that busy. We were served an amuse-bouche, possibly the best tasting item the entire evening. We were told that the amuse-bouche item is different every night. Overall, the food was good. Just skip the truffle pasta!

Yelp
We were baiting from SD and had a wonderful dinner here. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical since it is inside of a hotel but the service, ambiance and food were all outstanding. The hostess was very nice and seated us right away. It wasn't crowded when we first arrived but it got busier as the night went on. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable. The amuse bouche was a pumpkin soup. It was served cold and it was pretty yummy. We started with the arancini, pork ravioli (special) and the chopped house wedge salad. Loved all of them! My son got the pappardella e vitello which was a huge portion and very tasty. He had leftovers for sure. My husband and I got the NY strip. It was so flavorful and not very fatty at all. We were both really happy with it. We ended with the creme brûlée which was light and the top shell was carnali ed perfectly. We were stuffed and happy. We wood certainly return. I got some pics.

Yelp
Stayed at the hotel and decided to try their main restaurant. Definitely on the pricier side and unfortunately, the food was not worth the price. Food -- NY Strip Loin 5/10 - unfortunately the steak had a weird mealy texture. A little more overcooked than we had liked. We did not enjoy this. Chilean Seabass 8/10 - buttery soft fish and good portion, though it can get a little one note. It needed something else to give it more texture. Wedge Salad 9/10 - our favorite of the night. Just a simple, fresh salad. Service -- 8/10 Service was quick and friendly. Though our waitress forgot our request to swap out a side (even when she was the one who suggested it). A little odd. It felt like the service staff was there but not there. Environment -- 10/10 Beautiful restaurant. Not crowded at all so easy to do a walk in. Very convenient if you're staying at the hotel. Cleanliness -- 10/10 Value -- 7/10 The environment is very beautiful but food was not worth the price tag. The bar outside the restaurant had better food in my opinion.

Yelp
Very impressed. My first impression was that this was a run of the mill hotel restaurant, boy was I wrong. From start to finish - impeccable service. Food was amazing and the ambiance was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
This restaurant surpassed my expectations as far as the quality of the food and the exceptional customer service not to mention the reasonable prices. Will definitely make a point to go back.

Yelp
Restaurant located inside the JW Marriott Anaheim. The place looked pretty empty but they said we had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated. They have a kids menu which was nice for my little one and pretty standard Italian menu with some elevated & unique options. Service was pretty slow but the food was good and they even gave a free appetizer and the bread was good. Also, the creme brûlée came in a very long and interesting ramekin.

Yelp
The food for the most part was amazing! Can't wait to go back to try their daily menu. We went for Thanksgiving, and didn't realize it was a set menu. I booked it specifically because it advertised a buffet, that had staples I like, so I was pretty disappointed. Especially since with taxes, tip, and drinks, the bill was nearly $400. I'd say try it, but no what you're in for, food wise and price point wise. Also loved the dark ambiance.

Yelp
Food: Bruschetta was tasty with some vinegar drizzle; the Rocotta Gnocchi Carbonara had squash blossom, wild mushrooms, pancetta, English peas, shaved parmesan; Frutti di Mare Arrabbiata contained shrimp, mussels, squid, spicy arrabbiata sauce, squid ink linguini, basil; Pan Roasted Scottish Salmon was 7oz, toasted fregola, blistered cherry tomatoes, broccolini, blood orange balsamic Service: great, timely & friendly service Design: interiors is contemporary with a great view of the rooftop garden, hexagonal ceilin fixtures Overall: a great hidden gem for Italian food at the JW Marriott connected to the Anaheim Garden Walk (walking distance to Disneyland)

Yelp
Came here for breakfast.Classic eggs Benedict was divine.Perfectly cooked with the best hollandaise sauce. The hash with Brussels sprouts is so good!Fresh squeezed OJ and Grape juice was yum.Service is excellent! Jessica did great! ambience is clean and modern.

Yelp
I we just left this restaurant Amanda and Jessica and the whole staff were amazing and let's jump right into the food. I cannot say enough I had the chicken with mashed potatoes. My wife had the hot honey, pepperoni pizza, and the Caesar salad salad. We will definitely be back and tell all of my Yelpers.

Yelp
4 stars for service but the food was amazing, bumping up the full review to a solid 5 stars! We came here during the Disneyland Half Marathon weekend on the Saturday night pre-race, so a semi-early dinner at 6pm. We were staying at the Clementine Hotel across the way and it was super easy making reservations via opentable. We got there promptly at our reservation time, see tons of free tables, and were asked to wait in the lobby for 15 minutes. No problem - there were plenty of couches and free water available! We came back exactly at 15 minutes and she asked if we were ready...which I found funny since we were ready 15 min earlier when we got there. Overall the service was very slow and it took a while for the server to get back to us. They were likely short-staffed which is perhaps why they had asked us to wait in the first place. We ordered our drinks and while we were ordering the food, the amuse-bouche and bread had been delivered to the table. I was in the middle of placing my order with my waiter when the bread guy interrupted and started his spiel on the amuse-bouche & bread. I appreciated the story, and the good luck horse shoe, and food detail but not sure why he couldn't wait five seconds when I finished ordering. Seemed rude to myself and his colleague. The amuse-bouche was a delicious ceviche that we all enjoyed. On top of that, the bread combined with the herb butter & topped with salt and chilli pepper flakes from the beautiful marble keeper on the table was PERFECTION. I'm not sure what specifically, but it sure hit the spot. I ordered the ricotta gnocchi carbonara. To die for! I loved it! I ordered this based on the server's recommendation and he hit the nail on the head! It was the right level of richness, without being overpowering in creaminess. It was also quite filling. I had half and saved the rest for post race. It was just as good the next day. My husband ordered the chilean sea bass and it was amazing as well. It was cooked to perfection, soft & flavorful. It paired with the gnocchi was spot on. My friend also ordered the Caesar salad with salmon - a super solid choice as well. I love a good Caesar. We each had our own chamomile tea. At first the $7 price tag turned me off but when I saw my husband's order come out (full pot, a mini honey jar, and lemons), it seemed so comforting for a cold night. My friend and I decided to order our teas when the food came to our table. It took FOREVER to get it. I'm glad they offered us to-go cups to take it back. This place is pretty pricey but the food is definitely worth it. The ambience is fairly upscale as well. We were in the main dining area next to the bar but we did feel several drafts throughout the night. Again, the service could be improved but we totally understand staff shortages - it was just a little anxiety inducing as we had a 2:30am wake up time and we couldn't leave until close to 8pm due to the slow service. Lesson learned - we'll make a 5pm reservation next time!

Yelp
First off, Jessica did a great job taking care of us both for the complimentary wine tasting and for dinner. She was outgoing, polite, and just seemed like she genuinely enjoys what she does. The destination fee of $30 per day includes a free daily wine tasting featuring a red and a rosé from Daou, so we were sure to take advantage of that at the bar from 5pm-6pm. The ambiance was relaxed and cocktail loungey, dimly lit, and relatively quiet. Vibey with a honeycomb motif throughout. They give you an amuse bouche and bread and butter to start your meal. We ordered the Cobb wedge salad which was a great starter, complete with balsamic and Gorgonzola cheese. For entrees we ordered the Tartufo Fettuccini which was a truffle pasta with asparagus, and the Seabass with a unique pillowy, cheesy gnocchi (probs my fave version of gnocchi, which I'm typically not a fan of ), brown butter sage, and a pea purée to round it out. Both entrees were def winners and would def order again. Finally, Jessica threw in a free caramel soufflé for our anniversary and made it ala mode with her recommendation, which made for the perfect way to end the night. Warm, gooey, decadent and the perfect size to share. Overall, an awesome place to have dinner with the nicest wait staff, and the convenience of being inside the hotel. Would def pay these guys a visit again when staying at the JW.

Yelp
I apologize in advance for not having photos of what I am going to call 'cuisine perfection'. I'm old we do not need to get into the semantics of my age, lol. That being said, I order Filet Mignon, often. In all my years of doing this, there are about 4 that I would consider, exquisite. Now there are five, and Tocca Ferro might be in the #1 spot! Words cannot begin to describe this perfection. Yes, an Italian restaurant just made my #1 or #2 spot for steak! Okay, enough about the food, what about the service? Liz was our waitress, she also makes my new # 1 or #2 for phenomenal service. Give this lady a raise! Wow

Yelp
We had reservations for two at 6:30, arrived on time and were told there would be a slight wait. We noticed other parties waiting as well and then folks with 7:00 pm reservations began showing up. Finally at 7:00 I asked the hostess for a reliable estimate of when we would be seated and she stated in 30 minutes. Looks like a nice place but not worth waiting an hour to be seated, one can only imagine the wait for the food!

Yelp
Came to celebrate my 33rd bday, one of the best dinner experiences I've had. Fiancé made reservations for 3, we got sat at a booth and were greeted by friendly service. Our server, Jocelin, was super amazing and very attentive, we highly recommend coming in for dinner. All the food was tasty, we ordered a Cesar salad, pizza, steak, fries and a couple of drinks. We had a great experience, we will def come back to try more delicious food

Yelp
Great food and great service. We were a party of 11 for an executive event, we had a great time. I would totally recommend this place for a corporate or a family dinner. The location is also pretty good. 5/5 for our lovely server Heidi. She was excellent. Definitely coming back again

Yelp
We spent two nights at the JW Marriott in Anaheim, which charged us a $30 daily destination fee that came with a $30 daily food and beverage credit. We used that credit to get breakfast at Tocca Ferro, the hotel's lobby level restaurant. It was a nice enough place, calm and comfortable with a grown-up feel for a Disneyland-adjacent spot, in keeping with the blandly upscale JW Marriott. We went between 8:00 and 8:30 both mornings, and it was pretty quiet, with most tables empty. Given that, the service was surprisingly slow and inattentive. Not a great thing if you're trying to wrangle two kids, one of them a three-year-old who knows the next stop is Disneyland. We waited a full half hour for our food the first morning, and the children were starting to fall apart by the time it arrived. The staff was friendly, at least. I guess we would've saved time by opting for the buffet, but it didn't look like a great spread for the price, $32 per adult and $15 per kid. Our one-year-old was free, and we did grab him yogurt and a little smoked salmon. It would've been helpful if someone had mentioned this while we were waiting that half hour for our food to arrive. I only got the go-ahead to get him yogurt when I asked if I could grab one and pay for it. The a la carte menu was notably expensive, some real inflated hotel/Disney pricing for solidly okay fare. I had a $17 Bloody Mary that was decent but forgettable, and my entrées were both $24 and did not contain any meat. The chilaquiles were good, at least, a plate of fried tortilla with over easy eggs, housemade guajillo salsa, black beans, pickled onion, avocado, queso fresco, sour cream, and cilantro. I was less into the Brussels sprout and asparagus hash, an underseasoned mix of vegetables served with hash brown and sunny side up eggs. I also tried the sage pork and chicken apple sausages, which I used to supplement my entrées and feed my carnivorous baby. These were both tasty. My husband and older boy had pancakes. The ones from the kids' menu were shaped like Mickey. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Tocca Ferro, but we liked the JW Marriott and are somewhat likely to come back on a future trip to Disneyland. If so, we'll have breakfast here again, and I just hope the service is faster or our children better behaved.

Yelp
Service was outstanding. Our server, Lareina, was just the best. She gave good suggestions. She was friendly. She also let us try something we weren't sure we would like and then gave us it without charge. Really nice. We customized our food and they were super accommodating. We had a variation of the pasta arrabiata and the seafood pasta. We also had the Smokey steak. I wish we had room for dessert. Located in the JW Marriott. Also had the crispy brussel sprouts which has a nice glaze. They also gave an amouse bouche when we arrived - also very good. Love the feel of the restaurant!

Yelp
Extremely disappointed and underwhelmed. The breakdown: We had reservations and although only four tables were occupied, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. The hostess was nowhere to be found after our initial check-in. What was the point of that? Ambiance is modern but the chairs are too short for the tables. Our table was two square tables that were not even the same height. Everyone felt like a child. When I looked under the table wondering about the difference in tables, saw the floor was filthy with crumbs. I'm not certain the crumbs were from that day. Is one large vat of pasta water being use? Our squid ink arrabbiatta pasta had some white (overcooked) spaghetti noodles in it. Filet mignon - asked for medium rare, got medium. New York Strip - asked for medium, got medium well. Ordered the calamari from the bar menu (you can order some items but all not all from the bar, but they won't show you the menu or tell you what items?) - they were calamari steak strips and had some sweet coconut breading that didn't really go with the marinara sauce. The serving sizes are generous but not sure if it's worth it if the food isn't very good. The topper - Opentable stated $12 valet parking with validation, turns out it's $25. We were there for a birthday celebration, so the whole experience was incredibly disappointing. They did provide a small cheesecake so they get an extra star.

Yelp
A bit hesitant at first since this is a hotel restaurant...but pleasantly surprised to the quality of food and super friendly workers. Had the hot honey pizza and veal pasta. Delicious.

Yelp
This review is about the front desk... not Tocca. Scott who helped check in my group on Monday afternoon was amazing!!! There was some confusion about my group and the "resort pass".... we had it but a person by the name of Allesondra was NOT helpful and caused us more heartache then was needed. Thank you to Scott for being kind, polite, and respectful of our time and our group.

Yelp
Tocca Ferro located on the second floor of the JW Marriott Hotel in Anaheim,CA is truly delicious. We made a reservation via opentable and got seated right away on a weekday. We had a view of the garden across from GardenWalk. We did valet parking and even with validation it costs $25. Without validation the parking would have costs $35. Our waitress was amazing, service with a smile, made pleasant jokes, checked in on us and really made us feel special and recommended dishes. We started off with 2 complimentary lobster puffs which was good. Then the bread with rosemary/thyme butter from the garden was so good, we requested 3 more orders. We started off with the charcuterie board filled with delicious meats and a variety of cheeses. For our main entrees, we had the NY Strip with broccolini and mashed potatoes, cooked very well and flavored well. The second entree was the carbonara gnocchi with added $7 chicken, creamy sauce and yummy grilled chicken. Overall an amazing dining experience.

Yelp
Wow, what a great place! This place really amazing food but the best park was the service at the Tocco Ferro; Liz S. She is so sweet, charismatic, personable and goes above and beyond to make sure you're having a good time and enjoying your experience!

Yelp
Where to begin .... This restaurant is located inside the jw Marriott Anaheim and is where we had our breakfast every morning while staying there Amazing service and attention to detail. Buffet and a la Carte menu with delicious choices made it hard to make a decision. Can't wait to come back Thank you

Yelp
After a big 3 days of Disneylanding with the family, we decided to get a god steak. Toccata Ferro Italian Chophouse showed up on Yelp and we walked the 7 minutes to the restaurant. This is nothing after the tri-day Disneyland excursion. We didn't follow the maps instructions and walked down the e very cool shops and eatery behind the JW Marriot. This was not the entrance to the restaurant. We walked back to the JW Marriot entrance and the encountered a wonderful wedding party. Not the restaurant. We asked the hotel staff where the restaurant was and it was on the second floor up the escalators. When we got there, we were greeted by a wonderful hostess. We were seated at a table in fine dining fashion, even though we were dressed in fine Disney fashion. The waitress was well versed in the wines and we tasted two Super Tuscans before deciding on a bottle. We had a surprise appetizer of bruschetta with a mushroom topping that was delicious. Then we ordered a New York steak and papperdeli veal meal. They were both amazing. The steak came with a blue cheese cream sauce that was out of this world... not to mention the herb butter and bread that came with it. This is a hotel restaurant, but did not feel like it. This was an excellent experience, but not the easiest to find. I hope the be in Anaheim again to experience this restaurant again. They also have a salt and pepper on the table that is amazing. The pepper mix was like an elevated tajin. More smokey and spicy. Wonderful experience and food.

Yelp
Such an amazing dinner! Was looking for a good spot for my birthday dinner and Tocca Ferro made my day that much more special. The bruschetta and bread were delicious along with the pappardelle. And the desserts! The souffle was absolutely delicious. Such great service and amazing food to match. So happy I found this place on OpenTable.

Yelp
I have been meaning to leave a review for this place for a while since it left such a good impression on me. First, I want to recognize Lorena L. for her AMAZING service. I visited sometime in December and she was a dream. Very attentive and she made the experience worth it. Wine tasting: The location offered free wine tasting complementary to the hotel stay. The gesture was welcome, but not the greatest as the offerings that night were outside of my normal selections. I am sure others would probably disagree and say that the offerings were lovely. Amuse-bouche: As part of the experience, you are offered a complementary amuse-bouche. To my understanding, this varies. I was served some adorable cubes of watermelon accompanied with cheese and some oil. While the combination of oil and fruit was not particularly to my palette, it was an unique experience that makes me look forward to my next visit to see what they can come up with next. Entrees: (Filet) I ordered the filet, medium rare. It was truly the highlight of the meal. It is brought to the table in a smoke box. The presentation was superb and the taste was to match. The smokiness of the meat was delicious and the tenderness of the meat was breathtaking. Personally, it rivals and perhaps even surpasses similar meals I have enjoyed at places like Fleming's and Born and Raised. To date, it remains the most tender and well-seasoned filet I have had the pleasure to consume. I was floored. Spicy Rigatoni: This pasta was first rate. Although I normally do not care for kale, their chef was able to make it delicious. The spicy fennel sausage was a perfect mix of heat and flavor as its spice was not overpowering and complemented the vegetables in the pasta wonderfully. The presentation was gorgeous, and the squash blossom was a noteworthy element in the pasta. The blood orange & balsamic glaze was heavenly, though it might not be for everyone. All-in-all a wonderful dish that can accompany any of course. Drinks: I enjoyed their citrus-centered cocktails. Namely, their limoncello drop martini had the perfect ratio. It was pleasantly lemony without being overpowering or too sour. Sides: I ordered an order of truffle fries to accompany my meal. The fries were crisp and slender, which made them very enjoyable with the accompanying house sauce and ketchup. I highly recommend this side along with any cut of steak. Classic pomme frites! The complimentary bread was soft and served as a pleasant intermission between bites. Overall, I believe this place is a must for anyone in the area, specially if you are staying at the JW Marriot. I will forever sing the praises of our lovely waitress, Lorena. She is truly exemplary and i hope to see her in my next visit.

Yelp
Initially I was skeptical when my party wanted to eat here instead of P.F. Chang's. Our party ordered the parpadelle, gnocchi, chicken, bruschetta, and Caesar salad. The parpadelle and gnocchi were delicious. The gnocchi was creamy and rich. The parpadelle veal was soft and tender. I had my doubts, but I wound definitely come back. The service was great. And best of all, there was no wait. We were seated within 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
A beautiful restaurant with a modern take on traditional dishes. Staff is very welcoming and manages are routinely table touching. Food is delivered by a parade of servers, almost like they are proudly showing off each dish as it's being presented at the table. The food was good but I wasn't in love with it. Maybe it just wasn't my style of cooking? The crab & avocado toast was delicious and fresh but I didn't really care for the charcoal bread. I loved the jalapeño chimichurri and rosemary chicken but the corn mash under wasn't appetizing. Some of the desserts were tasty; I'd have to say my least favorite was the strawberry 3 ways but the macarons were quite yummy. Maybe as time goes on the food will get better.

Yelp
This experience was incredible. These people deserve a Michelin star. The gnocchi was the best gnocchi I have literally ever had in my entire life. I am telling you GET THAT GNOCCHI. The reviews here don't do it justice. Amazing experience and the service was incredible. Our server was Alexa and she was so helpful and so friendly.

Yelp
The ambiance is romantic and intimate. We came in with our 5 month old son who was sleeping. Due to this they were kind to put us a little father away from other tables so they definitely took everyone's enjoyment into consideration. Our waiter Hiro was very nice, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about the menu. As food came out other staff members assisted Hiro and were all kind and friendly. Josh, the manager, also came by to see how things were multiple times. Since they just opened for dinner he asked us for our brutally honest opinion so they can give feedback to the chefs. Josh even gave some good suggestions on the drink menu. I definitely suggest the old fashioned. From a staff perspective, 5 stars all day. They also knocked it out of the park with their food. The bread is uniquely tasty. I loved the rosemary butter they provided with it. The tomato fennel soup was unctuous and I couldn't stop myself from going back for more. The meatball was tender and had a surprising kick to it. Next time, we're ordering more brussel sprouts, they were a hot commodity at our table. The risotto was very saffron forward which was great. For the main dishes the squid pasta my wife got and the clams were cooked wonderfully. I got the fettuccine which gets fresh grated truffle table side which is great because you know you're getting the real deal. I definitely want to come back and try some of their other items. Their steaks looked very good! I also saw a bone in pork chop on their menu that I'll have to try. I definitely recommend Tocca Ferro and cannot wait to come back!

Yelp
Still a little hangover from last night, but wanted to take a moment to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks for making our event a success. Our families and friends had a great time. Food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Setup and ambience was top notch. Service was friendly and everyone went above and beyond. Special shout out to our waitstaff Heidi. She was wonderful! Made everyone feel comfortable and extra special. Here's wishing the staff at Tocca Ferro a joyful, safe and prosperous New Year. Cheers!

Yelp
The restaurant is located in the JW Marriott on the second floor. Overall the food was really good and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. The staff here are really amazing and attentive, easily one of the best experiences I've had. Our table was lopsided though, so that was a little annoying to deal with.

Yelp
Food was great! And our server Liz S. was awesome! Super friendly and very helpful in choosing wines and food options to accommodate our large party.

Yelp
Let's be honest there isn't many fine dining options in Anaheim- Flemings and Roy's don't count! I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel this week. Tocca Ferro is located on the second floor of the JW Marriott adjacent to the front desk check in area. The restaurant is beautifully laid out and elegant. There wasn't many diners when I was there- I think it recently opened. My server Issac was fantastic!!! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and made some terrific suggestions. I throughly enjoyed everything from the complimentary amuse bouche and homemade garlic herb butter! My salad was crispy and fresh and my main which was a slow roasted veal parpadelle was to die for! The pasta was cooked a perfect Al dente and the timing of everything was perfect! Issac was such a pleasure to chat with- he really made my dinner experience great especially since I was there dining solo. I didn't get to sample their desserts but look forward to it the next time I come! 5 stars!

Yelp
I liked this restaurant inside the hotel. My husband didn't like it was much as I did.nI would go again! The decor is lovely and the service was good.

Yelp
Delicious food but the best part of the experience is the service! We were there for 4 nights and we came back every night thanks to the Service that Liz S. Provided. She remembered our names and what we loved to drink. Would come here over and over!

Yelp
Wow what an amazing experience our group had at Tocca Ferro. Our bartender and server Liz S. is the reason we will be back. Top notch service by Liz. She truly cares about her customers and even remembered our names when we returned the next night. Liz is truly one of a kind and should train your other staff on what exceptional customer service should look like.

Yelp
I stayed at the JW Marriott for 3 days. I had a wonderful experience with Liz S. She was super friendly and provided the best customer service.

Yelp
Amazing Food with even better service!! I stumbled into this restaurant and am so glad that I did. The menu is full of flavor - staff is so friendly and took extra care with my allergies. Highly recommend for any meal.

Yelp
We stayed @ JW for Mother's Day and had the buffet breakfast the next day. We enjoyed the omelette station cooked to your preference! Everyone is so pleasant, attentive and friendly. They took care of the kids and were patient with our group. They have donuts and the kids loved it! The fresh flowers centerpiece was a very nice touch on the buffet. Definitely worth the visit!

Yelp
The service was great, thank you Lorina for your hospitality. Unfortunately, the food was not nearly as amazing as the service. We ordered the risotto, fettuccine alfredo, and filet. All the food had a very strange Smokey flavor to it? Strangely decorated with edible flowers with gave them food a awkward aftertaste. The fettuccine was not cheesy, tasted like it was just dipped in melted butter, risotto had a strange texture, filet was the most disappointing because within the hour of me eating it, I had food poisoning. I was so upset with the high price point and low quality of food. Regardless, this is not a reflection of the service and I hope that Lorina gets the recognition that she deserves.

Yelp
I sort of want to keep this place a secret so it doesn't get too busy but I also want to share how great it is! We were staying at the JW and typically avoid most hotel restaurants, but I'm so glad we gave this one a chance! We ate at The Ranch a couple nights ago, don't get me wrong they're great! But I can't lie, I liked this one better. Service and presentation were top notch!!

Yelp
Kids running amuck in a 25% capacity evening. New York Strip was good, but prepared medium well and not medium rare, per order. Pappardelle pasta were overcooked and mushy. Veal ragout was there to save it a bit. Outstanding service, yet the other problems ruined the experience. Really wanted the place to be top notch, but fell far short. They will have to survive on the tourist trade, I'm afraid. The ambience is potentially great, but having the dining room open to a noisy hotel and allowing patrons' kids to run around like spastic clowns, ruined any chance for us coming back. I could've excused the others, as the chef was probably short staffed and had an off night. Don't mind paying premium prices for an overall great experience, but this fell far short. Disappointed. Locals have way too many similar, yet better options within a 20 mile radius.

Yelp
Ok what a gem! The restaurant has such a great upscale vibe. Drinks are amazing. I had the godfather old fashioned and you can actually choose which flavor of smoke it gets smoked with. Amazing. Food was delicious but more importantly the staff deserves recognition for how welcoming, personable and enjoyable they make the experience. Shoutout to Lorena who was our bartender/server/recommendation expert. She was a pleasure to have helping us enjoy our experience. If you find yourself in the area I recommend giving this place a visit!

Yelp
Wonderful service but they serve a much reduced menu now - not what you see shared here. The limited options were disappointing and the food quality and ambience was a miss for me, it felt like I was eating in a dark dining hall with no music and only two other tables were taken. I'm sure if you're staying at the JW Marriott where this restaurant is located that it would be fine to dine here out of convenience but we won't be back.

Yelp
Maybe this place is hit or miss and it was a miss for us tonight. Perhaps we had high expectations after our dinner at Flemings last night. Everyone was nice but that wasn't enough to overcome the lackluster food and service. We showed up on time and hungry for our reservation. The restaurant was pretty empty and so were very surprised they had us wait for 15 min to get seated. They brought over a complimentary ceviche which was pretty good (we were starving). We ordered drinks and food and then waited (lemondrop was good, old fashioned was watered down). Was surprised at first that they didn't bring bread or anything but then saw another table get bread delivered with their ceviche. Mentioned something to the waitress and she replied with "we are waiting for it to come out of the oven". Ok. But then the bread comes out 2 minutes later and is barely warm and definitely not "out of the oven" . Next time just tell us you forgot. We aren't dumb. Food is overpriced for what you get. Went nearly half the meal with no water as no one bothered to refill water. Daughter ordered pasta with chicken, reminded them about the chicken because they didn't bring it out with the meal, and still didn't come and had to just tell them nevermind as we were about done eating. Overall definitely not as good as we were hoping. If you can't get dinner anywhere else or are staying at the hotel it might be a good option, but wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in the Anaheim area! Service, quality of menu and food and atmosphere is on par.
