We arrived for a dinner with family for a special occasion. The table they sat us at was right at the door and had a cold draft, so we asked to be moved further into the restaurant. It didn't matter, the entire place was drafty, even all the way in along the back wall.
I think our server let us chat too long as he showed up sporadically throughout the meal. He quickly took drink orders, brought the drinks, and then disappeared for 20 minutes. Then came back and took our orders. We all ordered soup or salad, but didn't see them for a while.
Then our main courses arrived about thirty minutes after we ordered. And lo and behold, so did our soup and salads. Ummm, the table could barely hold all the plates.
I ordered the gnocchi alla bolognese. It was decent, but nothing to write home about. The sauce tasted off to me. I don't think it was a bolognese, but maybe a vodka sauce with meat in it. It was weird. I wasn't the only person to order this dish and it was different for the other person, and it was odd tasting as well.
It's not worth getting into the other dishes as everything was mediocre at best.
There are a lot of Italian restaurants in the area, so there's no need to settle for mediocrity and bad service.
