Constantly see the commercials for this place so I decided to come check it out. Now parking is a bit difficult but after circling back a few times we found a spot. Came here on a weekend late afternoon we were seated right away and got our drink order taken shortly after. I ordered the enchiladas , my steps dad ordered the huevo rancheros and my mom got the fish tacos. My enchiladas were so good and spicy just how I liked it. This place definitely lives up to the hype. I’d definitely come back to try their Birria and pozole.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recently had the pleasure of dining at Todo Pa' La Cruda, and I can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the vibrant Día de los Muertos atmosphere—it truly sets the mood for a fantastic meal. The chips and salsa were absolutely delicious, making for the perfect start to my dining experience. As someone from Texas, I'm used to Tex-Mex, but the flavors here took me by surprise in the best way possible! I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and while they looked different from what I'm typically used to, they tasted even better! The unique twist on this classic dish was a delightful surprise that I can't wait to experience again. If you're looking for a place with fantastic food and an amazing ambiance, Todo Pa' La Cruda is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for more! 🌮❤️

My friend really wanted micheladas. Looked this place up and we decided to go. We all ordered our micheladas when we got here and they were all tasty. I would say definitely in my top 5. Then we ordered a bunch of food. Mulita de Adobada - was ok, would order something else. Cucarachas (fried Shrimps) amazing Agua Chile de Camarón - flavorful and with a little kick. Pozole - lacked a bit of flavor, but it was ok Ceviche - delicious Chile relleno - 10/10 The service was great. But the establishment itself is a mom and pop so on a hot day you'll feel the heat. So keep that in mind. The area it is located in has scarce parking, so try the cross streets to find better options for parking. We had a hefty bill at the end but it was worth it. Over all we enjoyed all the food and most definitely the micheladas. We'll be coming back to try other dishes as well.

Had a great meal at this neighborhood restaurant. Was shopping next door and stopped by for a quick bite. Was so impressed by the food and the service. My wife loved the birria and my quesadilla was tasty. The horchata was homemade and not too sweet, just the way it should be. Place was clean and everyone was nice.

Google
I've been here 3 times. The service was fast, the food was great. I've had the pozole Verde, the churros with ice cream, the agua chiles Verdes, and the Corona Michelada! The agua chiles had a weird flavor, like cueritos, maybe it's an Acapulco thing 🤷🏻‍♀️ 2 of the waitresses have been talkative and friendly, but the last one had no people skills. She was very serious and looked upset. She was dark skinned and heavy set.

Google
This eatery wasn't anything special. While it wasn't terrible, it lacked the spark to make me want to return. I sampled four of their salsas, hoping for a flavor explosion, but none particularly impressed me. The food followed a similar theme. The carne asada tacos and huevos rancheros were forgettable, the quesadilla (albeit large) didn't wow, and the beef birria was average. The only standouts were the Michelada, which was refreshing, and the aforementioned quesadilla, which, despite its lack of flavor punch, was at least satisfyingly large. Overall, this place might be okay for a casual bite if you're in the neighborhood, but don't expect anything memorable.

Google
Food was great, the micheladas were delicious my only issue with the camaron (shrimp) micheladas came with only 3 camarones so not worth the price. The staff was nice and attentive.

Google
Food is good. You don’t get a great bang for your buck in my opinion but it’s good. It’s definitely a great option to go to for taco Tuesday though. They have 3 tacos for $9, I think. The corn tortillas remind of me of the ones from Mexico. They’re thicker, so the tacos are definitely more filling than the ones made with a normal store bought tortilla. Definitely worth going, specially on Tuesdays

Yelp
Yelp NEVER steers me wrong! I was in the downtown area on a Saturday for business and was craving some delicious Mexican food. All of the nearby places had basic menu offerings and/or ridiculous wait times. So, I searched a little further out. I chose Todo Pa'La Cruda based on the location, menu options, Yelp reviews, and published wait time. This is the BEST, most AUTHENTIC Mexican food I've had in a really long time!!!!! As soon as you walk in, it's like stepping into your Abuelita's dining room. The aroma coming from the kitchen was amazing. The service was great. We were greeted right away and seated with menus without hesitation. The waitress went on to give us great food suggestions and explained a few items to us, so we could make the best choices. We ended up getting Pozole Verde and an Adobado taco plate with rice and beans. While we waited for our food, we were given complimentary chips and fresh salsa and enjoyed some delicious Horchata and a bottle of Guava Jarrito's. Before we knew it, our food was out to us. The portions were plentiful. The food packed so much flavor and all of it was so comforting. The various workers buzzed around working hard and efficiently, but were all very friendly. The place was buzzing with locals, but not packed or over crowded. There is no parking lot, but plenty of street parking is available. We were so excited to eat, that I didn't get any photos. But trust me...the food is DELICIOUS. So glad I found this place and can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We saw a reel that recommended this place on IG so we had to come and see for our selves if it the food was as good as it looked, well they did not disappoint! Walking in the door we were promptly greeted and seated. It wasn't quite dinner time yet, so it wasnt very busy, but as we heard one of the servers ask people around the restaurant "do you need more tortillas?" We knew we were right at home! One of the items that were mentioned as being very good was the pozole verde, oh my gosh! It was amazing! I asked for the puerco one, the meat was so tender, came with a huge fix of toppings like cebolla, cilantro, rabanos, limon, chicharron, una flauta de pollo and a tostada. Oh my! It was heaven! My teen #1 yelper ordered the tamales, they only sell them on saturdays and Sunday's, being that we went on a Saturday we were in luck! It was the pollo con mole kind wrapped in banana leaf. These were so much more thin than what we are used to, BUT, so good! The mass was soft and moist and the mole a chef's kiss! My teen #2 yelper ordered The tacos de pescado were also very delicious, came with a side of rice and beans, very good portions that fill you up just right! We did order horchata as drinks and you get the biggest cups ever! I loved it so much! Their horchata is the perfect blend of creamy and sweet, but not overly done. The service is great! The two young ladies who helped us out were so kind and patient with my pocho sons. Came around to check on us at the right time. The restaurant has such a cozy vibe, decorated with some traditional Mexican items, to include zarape style table cloths. The dishes some were very traditional as well and had Mexican music at just the right volume. Parking is a little hard to find, we did have to park a good 2 blocks away but no biggie since the weather was perfect and exercise is good for everyone! Loved this place so much, the flavor is very authentic and totally recommend it to anyone wanting to eat some REAL Mexican food, this hit the spot!

Yelp
I lucked out and found a parking spot across the street.  There is only street parking here.  Todo Pa La Cruda was ready for Dia de Los Muertos.  I ordered tacos. Birrea taco had lost of tender and juicy beef.  Loved the flavor.  Tortillas had a night light flavor. Ribeye taco had lots of tender and juicy ribeye.  Flavor was amazing.  I loved the seasoning/marinade on the ribeye. This is one of the best steak tacos I've had. Asada taco was mostly tender and juicy.  The meat had some chewy cartilage and was not as tender as the ribeye.  Seasoning was salt and pepper based and I enjoyed the flavor. Mahi mahi taco featured a tender mahi mahi filet which was nicely seasoned.  Great tasting mahi mahi. Adobada taco featured tender and juicy pork.  Nice bit of char on the edges.  Loved the bold flavor which did not feature burn your mouth flavors. I enjoyed all the tacos I tried. My favorite was the ribeye taco with the high quality ribeye and delicious flavors while the adobada taco was a close second.  Tacos were all street sized and 3 of them made for a big lunch.  Service was friendly and speedy.  Complimentary chips were crunchy and I liked the flavor.

Yelp
I have actually stopped by here a few times for a pick up only for others but I finally tried their food recently. Their shredded rolls tacos and Birria is fire.

Came here a few years ago. Found it on a whim on Yelp. Authentic Mexican food. Friendly and fast service. Culturally decorated Will definitely come back.

Yelp
Small little restaurant with minimal seating but the food is amazing. Highly recommend!! The birria and menudo are the best in San Diego!

Yelp
This is possibly the most authentic Mexican restaurant I've been to in San Diego. Delicious food, great service, and a cute little restaurant. I think the waitress said that the food cuisine is from Guerrero, MX. The salsa alone is worth a visit.

Yelp
This place never misses! They have everything you didn't realize you wanted The chile verde is chefs kiss. Delicious

Yelp
MEXICAN SOUP FOR THE SOUL (3.8 stars) Sometimes you have to travel to the less developed and deeply rooted Mexican neighborhoods of San Diego for that authenticity. Seems to be a very thriving and popular eatery amongst the locals - business was happening. - FOOD: good - PRICE: fair - SERVICE: friendly, attentive, excellent - AMBIANCE: small mom&pop place "June Gloom" is oddly overcast and cold which immediately makes me crave soup. Even with the sun, it was cold. I don't want American or Asian soup but wanted something very comforting. My go-to Mexican soup is Pozole Rojo but this place didn't have that listed on the menu and went for Pozole Blanco (they also have Poxole Verde). :: ORDER :: CHIPS & SALSA ($free) - this is complimentary. The chips were a bit greasy and tasted a little stale. Not sure how often their frying oil is changed out but I felt like I could taste all the fried food flavor in a bite of the tortilla chip. It didn't taste fresh to me. The salsa it came with is orange and believe to be their house salsa because I've never tasted something like that before. I can't quite put my finger on what it's mixed with but the taste wasn't for me. I would prefer regular salsa. POZOLE BLANCO ($14.99) - I chose chicken for my protein. This reminds me of basic chicken soup. Not as flavorful and intense as verde or rojo but a safe play on soup. It came with a side plate of fixings: radish, shredded green cabbage, limes, purple onion, avocado slices, fried tortilla shell, and a pork/carnitas rolled taco. The broth of the Pozole Blanco was well flavored with herbs and a very strong present of (dried) oregano. To help kind of cover that oregano flavor and some random bitterness here and there were all the fixings from the plate. They were not stingy on the chicken and it was super tender. The pork rolled taco was good, not very seasoned pork but loved the crispy ends and meaty inside, however the fried tortilla it was rolled in had the same weird taste that I tasted from the chips. I tried the fried tortilla shell that was also on the plate and felt the same way. I ended up leaving anything fried alone and focusing my eats on the pozole. I rarely order Blanco so I don't have much to compare to but this was a good bowl. HIGHLY RECOMMEND :: SERVICE :: Very good service. Not from this area of town and my Spanish is non-existing but was greeted and welcomed in immediately even when there was a line. Order was quickly placed and also quickly delivered. Other customers were very kind and told and said I would really like the food - I'll take their word on it! I'd love to come back or order take out. The next time I will be a Carne Asada Plate! JABA APPROVED. Until the next review...

Yelp
This was such a beautiful place with a Loteria theme. All employees were truly nice and very attentive. This place is not pricey which is amazing! you get big servings of your dish that are served on beautiful authentic plates. The food was truly authentic mexican food not like those places where you're disappointed because it's just a cheap version of mexican food with such a high price, this was not the case! The food was truly amazing and I will definitely be coming back here. The food had so much flavor and you got many salsas to add to your food. It was a group of 9 people and we all got different food items from the menu. We truly recommend the quesabirria with a side of consome. They have authentic mexican sodas as well! It's a small restaurant with really good food and it can definitely get packed in a second. If you are looking for an authentic mexican spot, this is it.

Yelp
Found this hidden in gem in Barrio Logan. Food is delicious and authentic. Staff is very nice. Prices are good. Definitely will come back again.

Brenda V.

Yelp
Food was amazing! I accidentally dropped my michelada lol which was delicious but they replaced it for free. They were very helpful.

Brenda S.

Yelp
Real authentic Mexican food--it's a true gem. I'm not from around here, and when I found it on Yelp and read the reviews, I thought I would stop by and check it out. Full disclosure: it's a small place, not very large. ITS Not a good looking place feom the outside. The service was also amazing. Everything was superb. The price for the amount of food was also great! I recommend you try the green chicken pozole.

Yelp
Ordered 2 tacos de asada "Carne asada" tasted like meat had been lying around for a while. As well ordered the "enchiladas de mole plate" they were just "ok" nothing special. Mole is definitely not made from scratch it's like a Mole Doña Maria but doctored up to try and mimic a fresh made mole.

Yelp
On a Saturday evening, we decided to eat some birria. We sat down very briefly. They brought us chips and salsa. The salsa is always good, yet the chips tasted stale. The waitress came and took our order. Our food was brought out on proper time. We optioned quesatacos de birria which I had ordered in the past, but this time it was disappointing. The meat was too dry, and it's really frustrating trying to take a bite when all you taste first is big chunks of onions. The preparation for the cilantro and onion could be better cut. I still would give this place a try.

Yelp
English: The food was very delicious and there was exceptional service! The overall restaurant ambience is very nice and relaxing I am glad I came here to eat :D I got the Plato de birria and it was exquisite, they gave a large portion and I couldn't finish it Overall a very good restaurant ------------------------------------ Espanol: ¡La comida estuvo deliciosa y hubo un servicio excepcional! El ambiente general del restaurante es muy agradable y relajante. Me alegro de haber venido a comer aquí :D Compré el plato de birria y estuvo exquisito, dieron una gran porción y no pude terminarlo. En general un muy buen restaurante.

Adrianna S.

Yelp
It's been a while since I had birria tacos and these did not disappoint. The horchata was okay. I'm really picking with horchata so I thought it had a bit too much cinnamon. My total was 19.38 which I didn't think was too bad. I really loved this inside of the place. It's loteria themed (I think) and I believe they had a second room for bigger parties. The lady came up to take our orders was nice. She came up to check on us two times. We were a little confused when we got done with our food because they never gave us a check or told us we had to pay at the front. Other than that I really enjoyed this place.

Yelp
No Parking so be prepared to park in a residential area or walk due to the lack of parking. Micheladas were good but I would prefer my bottle of beer on the outside of my cup but the recipe was good Auguachiles were good but they are not spicy for me. I enjoy more of a serrano pepper spice but this was more garlic spice which is good if you like garlic. Chips and Salsa are complimentary which is good because a lot of places charge for it. I would have preferred the container to be rust free but I didn't realize that when we finished the chips Platanos Fritos con lechera are my favorite so I am glad that was delicious. ‍The Service was two girls rushing us the moment we sat down. I asked for a minute to look at the menu and she took it literal. We ordered one item and asked to keep the menu in case we wanted to order more. The other girl kept trying to take the menus while the other girl kept asking if we were going to order more. I would have preferred to be made aware that they close at 8pm. I arrived at 7pm. As for the ambiance, there is only indoor seating and there are 4 tables so it is not good for large groups or someone who would like to bring a pet.

Yelp
Just ordered menudo on door dash from here food was so good I added the spicy salsa on the side and added it to the menudo game changer sooooo good can't wait to try more food from there.

Yelp
If I can give no stars I would . I wish I would've taken a picture of my plate , the meat was previously cooked and they just warmed it up, the tortillas were previously warmed up and they microwave them which made them super hard. In my plate was a for sure a spoon full of oil and when I asked she said it was part of the meat .... Everything was for sure microwave it was so nasty and no flavor. My husband ordered the ribeye tacos .. again tortillas hard and the meat so hard n even cut

Yelp
Went to Todo Pa La Cruda restaurant located on Imperial Ave in San Diego. The food was excellent!! I had the birria tacos with consomé, my friends had the pozole in green salsa, and enchiladas also in green salsa and said their food was excellent!! The guacamole was so delicious. I tried the Agua de coconut nuez It was good but wished it was sweater. Restaurant doesn't have their own parking only street parking. The service was good and restaurant was very clean. I look forward to going back and trying a different dish. I definitely recommend trying this place.

Yelp
Another AMAZING Mexican restaurant , it reminded me of when we go eat to The Cenadurias in Mexico . We had the chicken mole enchiladas best mole I've had in San Diego , I can tell it's made from scratch because of how authentic it tasted I was able to taste all the spices , I ordered the birria tacos with consomé the tacos are well served meat was juicy not DRY ! and you get full with 2 ! We also ordered the guacamole with chips it was so good and the chips were so crunchy and fresh , everything was delicious me and my husband very much enjoyed our dinner . The staff is very welcoming and attentive good job to the cook ! They serve tamales with the banana leaf which made my husband very happy , they are only sold on the weekend so we're definitely coming back for that ! Thank you for the delicious food !!!!!!!!

Yelp
Everything here is so good. My personal favorite is the pozole verde - the flavors were delicious and the portion was generous enough for two meals. I can't wait to try their muendo next visit - I have a feeling this is going to be a frequent order when temperatures cool off. They also have all the birria items- taco, quesadilla, fries, chilaquiles, and so on. I had a piece of the quesadilla and it was delish. I've had cheesier at other local spots, but this had a great balance. I was really impressed by their fish taco. Perfect batter, perfect kick from the salsa. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp

Yelp
I love the name of this place, simply translating to "Everything for the hangover". With a name like that and nearly 5 stars reviews, this place was on our bookmark list and I am very happy to share my experience with you. I love pozole verde, so often when offered I HAVE to order it. This one was so delicious, the broth was amazing but all of the added items were so great. All the typical items you'd expect, but I have never got a rolled taco with my pozole until now, but other restaurants should listen up and add it too. We also ordered the ceviche de cameron and pulpo to share and my boyfriend ordered the tacos de pescado plate. It was a lot of food, but we left happy and full. We loved it all, the only downside is that this place is in San Diego and I live in the Bay Area. I have to include this place in my upcoming trips from now on.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday! We Birria and Adobada tacos and they were amazing. Also margaritas with a nice spicy salty sour rim.

Aaron J.

Yelp
Just ate here for the first but not the last time. I had the birria tacos w/ consome... wow excellent. Not all greasy like some birria tacos. My daughter had a carne burrito which also was delicious. (I know cause she didn't finish it so I did . We will definitely be going back and trying more menu items.

Yelp
Phenomenal food. I met some friends who live in Coronado, Chip and Cecilia, at a restaurant I found on Yelp after my shoot. Todo pa' la cruda. I think it loosely translates as something for your head after the hangover. They had never eaten there before, usually eating at the mariscos restaurant across the street. I had thought about the Salvadoran restaurant nearby but this place had both white and green posole and I have not had the green in a long time. It was delicious. We ordered the posole and birria tacos. The posole came with a plate of everything, including chicharrones and a chicken taquito. Chip ordered the shrimp. Cecilia and I had some mandarin drinks. I know that I am prone to hyperbole but I think I can safely say that you can not find Mexican food of this quality in our area outside of Barrio Logan. They have set a high bar, at places like this and Cuatro Milpas. I would return in a heartbeat. My blog review - https://www.blueheronblast.com/2023/09/visit-to-barrio-logan.html

Yelp
Food is amazing. Service is great. Restaurant is small but great for a group of 4. The campechana is amazing.

Yelp
Parking sucks but the great food and service makes up for it. Ordered some menudo since I was trying to recover from my weekend and it did not disappoint. The cueros were tender but not chewy at all and the house salsa was delicious
google avatar

Sandra M.

Yelp
Ordered thru ubereats and beyond disappointed. I ordered mole birria chilaquiles- birria and mole were dry but the chilaquiles were super "soggy" like if they just heated the tortillas and then dipped it in the mole. The birria tasted and looked like "carne desebrada" really no flavor to ir. The avocado to top it was black. We got the shrimp and octopus tostada, more veggies than anything shrimp and octopus cut small.so couldnt really taste it..tostada tasted a lil stale, also.l got guacamole and fries. The fries needed salt had no flavor what so ever. The guac was salvageable. We added some salt pepper and garlic salt...the only thing that was edible...oh and the horchata..the horchata was really good. Food was thrown away and only got the mole pic!

V A.

Yelp
Loved this place. I order chilaquiles con birria and house salsa. Chips were crispy, zero oil. Cafe de Olla delicious.

Yelp
It's Saturday morning and I'm craving a yummy Mexican breakfast. I opened up Yelp and it brought me to this cute little restaurant. This place is located on a busy Imperial Ave, a little off the freeway. Parking can be a bit difficult but circle around a couple times and you'll find something. The vibe inside is super cute. The customer service was amazing! We got the green chile chilaquiles and the birria tacos. My daughter wasn't a fan of the chilaquiles. I liked them, but more cheese and sour cream would of made them better. Also, the portion of rice and beans was a little small. They were so good, I would of loved more! They also start your meal off with chips and salsa. To end the meal, we treated ourselves to some churros with a small scoop of ice cream. They were so yummy! The ice cream was simple, yet delicious! If in the area, we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Loved the inside of this little shop!! The service was great. The Quesabirria was made with tortilla de harina was kinda weird but ok- we were not a big fan- quesabirrias need to be with de maiz- I guess the flavors go together- we asked if they can do it with de maiz and they said no. Not a big deal we get it. The mulita de asada was good. Loved the tortillas de maiz . The pozole verdad was good we felt like the caldo tasted like caldo de pollo but it was good. This was a cool little hole in the wall. Will go back to try the other plates . Love the music inside!!

Yelp
Unassuming little cafe in barrio Logan. I was the only one there on a Monday morning, but whatever. Delicious huevos!!

Yelp
The salsas were good, the food was very decent, I would come back to try other things the cremita dessert was good too. Service was great and fast, parking outside.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check out this hidden gem for a long time! I picked up my friend and we found parking pretty easily. We got some complimentary chips and queso to start with and decided to share the camaron aguachile and some birria tacos! For drinks, she ordered a Pacifico and I opted for agua de sandia. The drinks were refreshing, but nothing special. The presentation for both dishes were so pretty- especially the aguachile! It came in a molcajete and had citrusy flavors. I loved the addition of oranges, which made it less sour. The birria tacos were rich and full of flavor. The consome was yummy too. Our server was very pleasant and even gave us each a red rose when we left. Will definitely be back to get my aguachile fix and try their other menu items!

Diana L.

Yelp
Horrible! Literally just ordered the Tacos de Papa. What I got was a tortilla fried with a sample sized portion of mashed potatoes I assume. This is probably the worst order or tacos I have ever received. If this is their portion size for tacos, I wonder how the rest of their food is. Very disappointed.

Yelp
This place has no parking . Horrible fried fish !!! Served with lettuce and cucumbers. I've been to lots of restaurants in my time but this one is by far the worst. Never go there again!

Yelp
Wow, the food was delicious. I ordered the Chilaquiles de moly. The service was perfect. They brought some chips for me to munch on while I wait for my food. I receive napkins utensils, salt, pepper everything I need to enjoy my meal. The place was perfect. Had plenty of seating. The ambience was just right.

Yelp
Wow, the Verde Pozole is literally the best I've ever had, extremely flavourful. The rolled tacos were also some of the best, perfectly crispy and fresh. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! I went today with my friends and I had a traditional meal from the south of Mexico for the first time in San Diego! If you're from the south of Mexico, or specifically from Acapulco like myself, you'll love this place!! I'm so happy I found it.

Yelp
It is a small restaurant but the food is really good. We had the mole and mole verde. Great flavors and good portion size. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place BUT the fact that we waited almost am hour for take out...and only Menudo, makes it a bad experience. My dad waited outside for his order and we saw when yt people who arrived after us were served first, he asked twice if our order was ready. I typically understand, making food might take time if it is made as you order BUT I am sure menudo is not made as clients arrive and for a take out order. If a place takes that long to serve, it might be good to let the client know at least ahead of time Cannot speak about the food, since we asked for our money back. Edit: owner commented. This was on a Saturday and it was the first time. It sounds like it happens to other people too.
