My friends and I visited Tofu Vegan and were excited to try some Chinese vegan food. None of us are vegan, so this was an experience for us.
The restaurant is cozy, and the staff are all super friendly. Our server helped us with dish recommendations and were keen to explain their dishes.
A highlight was the double cooked fisc (回锅鱼). Tofu wrapped in seaweed in batter. It tasted delicious and a great texture.
All the food and dishes were delicious, however we did feel that the portion sizes were on the small side. However, they did offer us bottomless rice.
This restaurant really does a fantastic job at blending vegan diet with a Chinese cuisine. I'd recommend this restaurant to vegans, non-vegans, and anyone interested in Chinese food.
