London’s New Restaurant Openings

"Tofu Vegan’s original Islington spot is heaving on the regular. And now they’ve opened a new central London location on Charlotte Street, where you’ll find the same silken tofu in Szechuan sauce, mock meats like Chongqing chicken, dim sum, and more Chinese-inspired plant-based dishes." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Tofu Vegan, Charlotte Street - Review - London - The Infatuation

"Tofu Vegan’s original Islington spot is heaving on the regular. And now they’ve opened a new central London location on Charlotte Street, where you’ll find the same silken tofu in Szechuan sauce, mock meats like Chongqing chicken, dim sum, and more Chinese-inspired plant-based dishes. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

The food was fantastic. In fact, we decided to visit after reading other's reviews, and we were not disappointed. The dishes were flavourful and thoroughly enjoyable. We had black bean sizzling tofu, the recommended wonton (with special sauce) was unforgettable, and also the fried szechuan noodles, among others. Unless you don't like Asian Chinese food, this is a place you don't want to miss.

Went to Tofu Vegan as a last minute decision in December and did not regret it at all! We were a walk-in and had lots of bags with us and they gave us a table of 4 because of all our luggage so that we're comfortable. The waiters were able to accomodate our no onion, no garlic and no mushroom dietary requirements. The waiters (don't know their names) were very nice and kept checking in on us to make sure everything was okay. The food was delicious! We ordered the Deep fried Tofu with salt and sichuan pepper, the deep fried chick'n with salt and sichuan pepper, Wontons in a house special sauce as starters, fried noodles with tofu for mains and chocolate brownie as desert. All delicious. When the bill came, it was about £75.40 for 2 people and I accidentally told the waiter to put in £74.40 on the card machine then later realised and told him. He said not to worry about it as it was only £1 less but we still gave him the £1 in cash. All the staff that we dealt with were very nice and lovely! Tofu Vegan is abit on the pricey side though but the food and service at this branch were amazing that we would definitely recommend this place and I'll be visiting again.

Probably one of my favourite restaurants! Super friendly and great food! I'm not vegan but if I could cook like this or eat food this good, it'd be super easy to eat vegan everyday! Food came out fast and fresh. Everything we ordered was super tasty!!! Our favourite dish was the fried rice, so good we ordered it twice. 12/10 would recommend this but of course you cant go wrong with anything else!

Absolutely brilliant. Must be one of the best vegan restaurants in London. Considering the up market location, excellent tasty food with fantastic portion sizes, it is extremely good value. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Cannot recommend enough!!

Wow! It was delicious. And definitely 5 stars! The Aubergine bun was out of this world. The dumplings were amazing too. I highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious food and flavors.

This is a magnificent restourant overall! The food is superb, the location is central and the service was excellent! We've been served by Susi that helped us going trough the menu options and explained us how to combine different dishes. Experience we will never forget and surely be back again! Thanks Susi, Marco.
