"All day The mega popular vegan Chinese spot has a few locations (including Spitalfields and Golders Green) but it’s their original location in Angel where we find ourselves enjoying tofu and mushroom xialongbao most often. While their soup dumplings are good, if a little thick, it's Tofu Vegan’s wontons in house special sauce that are the must-order dim sum item. Very good and authentic food. Lots of variety on the menu. The seasoning is very unique. My mom, my partner and I went together and we all left very happy. The staff was nice and kind and the place is nicely decorated, with nice artworks and signs about veganism and they even have some cute stuff for sale, like t shirts and tote bags. We'll definitely come back again very soon.

I loved all the options and the flavour was amazing! Service was amazing and not pushy so perfect balance to when out wine glasses were empty, they topped us up. We ordered many dishes for 4 and shared, which I think is the best way when you want to try everything. Good portions and quality for the price. Would definitely come again. Nothing to complain! 🤤😍

My vegan foodie friend and I decided to visit London to try all the awesome vegan food we do not have in the Netherlands. Tofu vegan of course also had to be part of our trip 😍. It was awesome! We really loved the food, especially the mapo tofu. Service was also kind!

Been trying to come here for about a year and always hear great things about it and how authentic it is. Firstly the food looked good but there is a huge amount of MSG, just sprinkled on top and in the food, so it doesn’t fill you up unless you’re maybe spending hundreds. Having MSG granules while eating your meal just feels like you’re being cheated. Waiting times were decent for how busy it was. I’d like to see more imaginative non alcoholic drinks The sweet red bean dish was good, but otherwise a lot of the food we had was stuck together. Staff were friendly. I’d try one of their other branches but suspect it will have just as much MSG

This place is a gem. Not one bad dish. In fact it's so good I didn't even take photos 😳 What I would say. The sweet and sour has an amazing texture. One that I haven't tasted since giving up meat. Just keep in coming back every time I come down to London. Don't need an excuse. It's still as amazing as the first time I ate here. So so good. Go try NOW!

You're better off getting a takeaway. Don't get me wrong, the food is tasty. That said, the portions are on the small side, especially for what are meant to be sharing plates, so we left as filled as we would have been from our takeaway but for about triple the price (and without the leftovers). What really annoyed me is that I ordered the deep fried tofu with sweet potatoes for almost £13. This is a dish in the menu that has a photo of it... so that you can know what you're getting. And yet, when it arrived, there were no noodles that is shown on the menu. When asked, I was told "it's for decoration". Imagine McDonald's saying the bun in the photo of the burger was for decoration and you have to pay an extra 50% to get that as a separate dish. The saving grace was that the food was tasty. But £70 for 5 small dishes and some rice...

Once you have vegan friends, you start visiting places you would never have considered visiting at all. In this specific case it was a pleasant surprise. The food was extremely good, I mean if all vegan food is that good, who does need meat anyway? You can't tell the difference. We instantly got a seat, only downside was, that one of the waiters wasn't too familiar with either the dishes or the English language because she wasn't able to tell what specifically was in the dishes (I mean, would be good to know in case of allergies)... at least she could have asked the chef but somehow she just got a little "angry" and lost er patience. But it's not been too bad, so everything was still okay. The noise inside the restaurant is a little disturbing you can't talk to each other without yelling or screaming. Overall it was a great experience never the less.

Great staff. Great food. I'm so happy I gave this place a chance. We took the server suggestions to hard and ordered everything that he suggested. This restaurant is a family style. Food is suggested to share. We shared the following dishes: Deep Fried tofu with salt and pepper Gong bao o'ster mushrooms with cashew nuts Wontons Twice cooked fisc Fries noodles. There was three of us in the party and we thought this was enough food. Everything had good flavor. Our favorite was the Gong bao o'ster mushrooms with cashew nuts. Our least favorite was the Twice cooked fisc. It was busy on a Monday night, but we didn't have to wait long to be seated.

The concept of vegan dim sum blew my mind. Everything was well made and the skins are just as authentic as regular dim sum. The fillings are mostly tofu & lotus, which tastes a bit more plain but I think they did the best. The fried aubergine/eggplant was stunning -- incredibly tender, the crispy spicy breadcrumbs and dressing sauce was amazing!! Didn't get to try their fake meat dishes to draw direct comparisons but everything was great already.
