This spot deserves way more attention. I know the location, tucked on a tricky corner near the intersection, might make it easy to overlook, but it’s honestly a hidden gem. The interior is beautiful, the food is consistently impressive, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, whether you’re dining in or grabbing a seat at the bar. The owner truly stands out. She’s warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the place, always present, chatting with guests, and making sure everything is just right. I’ve sampled a few items from the menu, and everything has been excellent. Some might say the portions are on the smaller side, but in my opinion, they’re just right, satisfying without being over the top. Tonight, I had the burger with spinach and artichoke dip. The burger was juicy and packed with flavor, and the wedges were perfectly crisp. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. This place deserves the love!

The atmosphere was soothing and friendly. The service was spectacular. The food was even better than the atmosphere and the service. We will return often.

Google
I had an amazing dinner and awesome drinks. The drinks are very large and affordably priced. Food portions are generous. They also have music every other Wednesday. The musician was very entertaining. Have to check this place out even if it’s just for drinks as they have a great bar area.

Google
Service is prompt and attentive. Food is overall fresh and clean, but lacks a lot of variety. What they do, they do well.they have a baby Grand in there and apparently have live music on Mondays. Overall I think it's good food, small but good selection of beers, and friendly wait staff. Could do with more vegetarian options and better drink list though Although this might just be teething troubles and I hope the owners take heed of these! The bread pudding is delicious and a definite must have! I have posted pictures of the menu in the pictures as their website is still under construction.

Google
Nice surprise - stumbled upon Tokenfire on a slow Sunday afternoon/evening. Incredible atmosphere, cozy and comfortable, live band who looked like they enjoyed life. Food was good, would come again. Drinks were cold- try the beach bum beer in the summer. Refreshing.

Google
Strong drinks and comfort food was like a warm fire on a foggy, rainy day with Sinatra and angry Quincy drivers out the window for ambiance in this beautiful little pub. Its about time Quincy had more Irish fusion to mix up the American fusion. I ate the food too quickly for a photo so you'll have to come try it yourself.

Google
Tokenfire is like taking a step into a memory. Live piano on Friday nights, attentive service and incredible care to drinks and food. Be prepared for a Ratatouille moment dining or drinking here. I would recommend this place to all of my loved ones. 😭

Google
Have been wondering when this place would reopen, glad to say it is back! Great food and lots of draft options, including Guinness and many common New England craft brews (Maine Beer Co, Mighty Squirrel, etc). For food, had a burger, flatbread, and some appetizers, and all were really well executed. For me, it's priced about right, certainly competitive with others in the area. Came in right at opening time on a Sunday afternoon, was quiet but a number of people were by the bar. Still in the early stages of reopening it seemed. Looks like the space was nicely redone, but never saw the older iteration. Couple TVs showing sporting events against the bar. All staff members, especially our bartender/server, were very attentive and making sure we had a great meal. Should absolutely be part of the Quincy Center restaurant rotation with Townshend, Fuji, and others.

Yelp
Now that I am leaving the state soon, I am in the middle of a mad dash to try all the places that I've mentally bookmarked before I am a thousand miles away. With this comes the anxiety that I will discover a mind-blowing place and kick myself for not heading in sooner. Thus, a disappointing experience doesn't hurt *quite* as bad. However, the foodie in me doesn't care about relocation... he cares about food. Lured in by reviews of my peers, I tried the Tokenfire Colada and the Ribeye Steak. The Colada seemed interesting and unique, and the steak looked mouthwatering in the pictures. Tokenfire Colada - This one was very sweet, peanuty, extremely creamy, and a little savory. The thickness kept it from being refreshing, and I am not sure if I would call it boozy either. Usually with cocktails I sip and sip until it's all gone well before the halfway point, like popcorn in a movie theater where the bag is gone by the end of the trailers. Then there was the Ribeye Steak. I don't know... something about one of the photos here possessed me to order it, though I almost never order steak at a restaurant (gosh knows why). The wait for this thing was considerable, more than I would expect for a medium-rare piece of meat, especially when it wasn't that busy. I can only imagine if all tables/bar seats were full and there was a waitlist! Eventually the steak made it to me, but... was it worth it? No, it was worth neither the wait, nor the money it cost. First, rather than being cooked medium-rare as requested, it was more a medium-well, at best. Second, some of the steak was extraordinarily chewy. Third and finally, I found it rather bland, while some salt was used in seasoning, this was very light. The steak came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. These two were also bland, and so forgettable I didn't remember them until I went to upload the photo of the dish. Finally, there is the question of vibe. It feels like a place with light tavern influences. Not at all bad to spend a couple hours. However, as a small quip, the purple/violet LEDs fly in the face of said vibe. Thus, we are left with a thoroughly underwhelming experience where I begrudgingly finished my items because I am not someone who likes to send food back. I am only glad I tried Tokenfire in that I won't regret never trying it.

Yelp
I don't know why I am trying this place now, even though I live nearby. It's just a hidden gem, and the price is reasonable, especially for the main dish. We ordered Mexican corn, fried calamari, and chicken wings for the starters. We wanted to order the octopus, but it was unavailable. The corn has little seasoning compared to those at Mexican restaurants. The batter for the calamari was so crispy. It would be nice if it were fried clam belly, but this is not a seafood restaurant. The wings are crispy and a little spicy with the Thai chili sauce; this dish was a fusion dish for them. The main dishes are pork shank and rib-eye steak; it might be bland for some people because they use simple seasoning. The pork shank was tender and juicy, perfectly paired with broccolini, which I even placed another order to go. The rib-eye steak (medium rare) was tender and juicy but a little bland to me. My partner enjoyed it since he preferred simple seasoning on the steak. Both entrees were huge. Coming here with an empty stomach is better. It is reasonably priced and offers excellent service from a local restaurant. They need to update their menu

Pia S.

Yelp
Im glad our original plans for dinner did not come through because we wouldn't have stumbled upon this place! Everything from appetizers down to the desserts were 10/10. We had calamares and wings for appetizers, salcmon and shrimp scampi for entrees, and the tiramisu, pudding and panna cotta for dessert. The risotto under the salmon was surprisingly very good. Its rare for me to find restaurants who can make risotto well and this restaurant did!! If you're visiting Quincy or MA, its worthy to stop by here.

Yelp
Great little neighborhood bar and grill. It's got a good mix of seating from high boy tables to booths and bar. The space is open to the street and there are nice views of the trees and park across the street. There was live music on the sunday night we visited. Menu consists of pub favorites with appetizers and desserts. Full bar with a huge assortment of beers on tap. The service was top notch with the manager operating the well oiled machine there. She was serving food, taking orders, answering the phone and mixing drinks as well. All the patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves. We enjoyed their desserts of Panna cotta and salted caramel Gelato enjoying the music and atmosphere. Make sure you ask for Cathy when you visit as she will take good care of you.

Yelp
Had a wonderful dinner on Oct 16. Food was great. Staff and owner were there and provided amazing interaction and service. Highly recomended

Yelp
We dropped in last night and were blown away by how good this restaurant is. From the moment we sat down our server welcomed us and went over the drinks and specials. We had the Scottish Lox with ricotta on brown bread for a light appetizer and it was outstanding. The flavor of each ingredient worked together for a great way to start the meal. My wife had the salmon which she loved and I ordered the pork shank on the server's recommendation. Both dishes were beautifully plated -- really 5 star presentation -- and the flavors were on point. The pork shank was huge and perfectly cooked. We normally don't order desserts, but the bread putting with the salt caramel gelato was as good as it sounds. The atmosphere was light and fun. There were some games on the TVs and live piano music playing various pop covers. Before we left the owner came over as well to ask about our meal and experience. In short: This is a really nice restaurant that is serving excellent food that one might expect to pay easily twice as much (for smaller portions) elsewhere in the Boston area. Definitely looking forward to returning.

Yelp
The board and staff of Prison Book Program had a really exceptional dinner at Tokenfire. The nine of us ordered a wide array of dishes, everything from flatbread pizzas, burgers, and fish-n-chips to Caesar salads, Brussels sprouts, and Mexican street corn -- all of it was delectable! Even though we were meeting to discuss our work, everyone kept interrupting to ooh and ahh over how good their dishes were. I'm coming back soon for more of that divinely spicy Mexican street corn. Ditto the bread pudding dessert - out of this world. With a chef who produces dishes like that, there should be a line out the door. On a cold, snowy evening, Tokenfire's setting was the cozy haven we needed. If we hadn't had to go to a volunteer session over at the book program, I know we would've enjoyed the many cocktails and beers on offer. Next time :). Lovely service, too - friendly and helpful. Anyway, we all highly recommend Tokenfire! It was a real gem with food that impressed and delighted us. You'll love it!

Yelp
I Love a good surprise, and that's the experience I had going to Tokenfire with my husband and niece last night! Right from the start the atmosphere is very cozy and inviting with nice music playing ( maybe contemporary Irish music if there is such a thing?) Chuck the bartender was very friendly & engaging and makes a mean Negroni ( unexpected touch in an Irish restaurant) and every table had fresh cut daffodils in a vase. Great first impression! Now the food was the next unexpected treat! Nice varied menu. We went soup to nuts starting with Yummy Spinach Artichoke Dip and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. All of the main courses were showstoppers!! My husband had the Pork Shank, taste & presentation amazing. My niece had the half chicken which looked and smelled delicious and I went for the Salmon in a wonderful Lemon sauce served over rice. We finished off with Bread Pudding & the Panna Cotta both delightful. All our meals were extremely tasty & flavorful. Don't let that chef go!! Needless to say we will be adding this into our regular dining rotation and bringing along everyone we know to join us! Also make sure to introduce your self to Breda the owner. She sets the tone for the establishment very warm and friendly. Hurry up & go there!!!

Yelp
Tokenfire hosted a private party for our non-profit organization. We started with an assortment of appetizers, savory meatballs, pork dumplings, the best brussel sprouts, crispy potato wedges, and two kinds of flatbread. Our group had to choose from Shepherd Pie, salmon, or a vegetarian pasta and everyone enjoyed these entrees. And then we had dessert. Wow! The service was excellent and the ambiance was charming. I look forward to my next visit!

Yelp
Quaint and comfortable little pub in Quincy Center...loved the perfectly seared octopus appetizer and had probably the best pork shank ever...tender soft juicy and perfectly cooked with sautéed brocollini I that was just right! Coming back soon!
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
Immediate need to remap seating. Bar and Tables are completely empty while everyone is stuffed into tables on the left side.. Spread out the couples tables all over the place. Food was above average but did lack flavor and the steak tasted frozen. The Service was very good for one person covering all the tables and the entire bar. On Busy nights they need a bar tender and a waitress. The owner needs to go away as she makes the experience awkward doing weird things.

Yelp
We had an absolutely lovely meal at Tokenfire tonight! It's hard to choose which was best, the food or the service. Breda the owner is a gracious and attentive host. Our table had the pork shank (incredible) cod with risotto (both so perfectly cooked!) muscles in the most delicious soup, a perfect burger and desserts including bread pudding that were all incredible. Everything was made from scratch and cooked so perfectly. We can't WAIT to go back!!

Brendan C.

Yelp
Great local pub to get dinner. Irish live music from time to time. Place doesn't get enough recognition... food is great and bar service always good.

Yelp
What a great new place to eat! I believe newly opened and limited hours as well, so you have to get there for dinner. Excellent food, attentive staff and just the right number of tables/seats and patrons. When we were there last night, we arrived at about 5:30pm and it was still quiet. But soon as 6pm arrived they were getting close to capacity. Seems to be quite popular and a great meeting place for friends, eating or date night. We had the Guiness draft, and they were perfectly poured. The suggestion I would make is that they use an insignia on the foam to promote their talented bar staff and restaurant. We (4) all had something different, Burger & fries, Shepards Pie with lamb, Codfish and I had the Pork Shank. Let me warn you that you need be hungry when you arrive from the good size portions as you won't be disappointed. Everyone ate everything and nothing was left to take back. All perfectly prepared. We came from Stoughton, so it was about 30-minute drive and well worth going to. Definitely going back. Thanks, you for the great time and food!

Yelp
Wonderful night and dinner at Tokenfire. The owner welcomed us, and made sure we were well attended and happy throughout our visit. A cozy spot, that brought back fond memories of our recent trip to Ireland. Generous pours on drinks, reasonably priced. And with all that, I'm happy to say the real star of the night was the food. Every dish was perfect. We will be back!

Erin F.

Yelp
If you're looking for a nice quiet dinner in peace this is not the place . The owner Breda has not a clue . She takes up two tables in the back of the dining area with old plates of food , old coffee cups , hair brushes , elastics, days old cups of water with lemons and piles of paperwork and mail wich is huge turn off if you're trying to eat a meal . She barks orders at her staff members from across the bar critiques every move they make and bothers all the patrons who come in to enjoy their meal makes things very awkward and uncomfortable the way she talks to her staff alone I would never come back to this establishment. Please think twice before giving somebody like this business .

A M.

Yelp
I was there a little over a week ago! Really cute spot with great food! The pork shank was delicious!

Judi C.

Yelp
Quincy's Hidden Gem! The owner, Breda, takes prides in her establishment, her quality of food and her customers. Quaint ambiance with a "Cheer's Like" Atmosphere. Her food is quality. If you like pork, try the Pork Shank ! It is a staple on her menu and absolutely delicious! Shepherds Pie is really tasty! Her fish her, steaks and so much more and always nightly specials! This Gastro Pub has mulitiple beers on tap and her Guinness is delicious. It is the best around. You will not be disappointed!

Susan G.

Yelp
So glad we stopped in for a drink on NYE 2023 !!! Such a lovely place with a cozy atmosphere. Cannot wait to go back for dinner.

Brian R.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Great food at a very reasonable price. The owner, Breda, is amazingly nice and is always willing to hear feedback about how they can improve (there isn't much to say other than giving them more foot traffic). We enjoy that they are the only place in Quincy to have Smithwicks on tap and have 19 other beers on tap. They also have live music every Sunday and every other Wednesday, which is nice. A great place to eat in a great location. Ask for Cathy at the bar because she's very sweet and always has positive energy.

Cld F.

Yelp
Both food and service were great. Sat at the bar and had a Caesar salad and pork shank. Caesar had great flavor and right amount of dressing. The pork shank was one of the best dishes I have had this year. Juicy and tender.

Benjamin L.

Yelp
Great food and service; the owner is a delight to talk to. On the bar side, great options and seating. Simply a positive experience and I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Very delicious dinner! Also, Lauren was a great server! We really enjoyed everything we ordered. We got the olives, fries with an amazing aioli, shepherds pie, salmon and roasted chicken. Would definitely recommend
google avatar

Stuart S.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to this place reopening after Covid. It took a few years, but they got there. However, I was sorely disappointed. The owner is surly and rude, while the rest of the waitstaff is inattentive. The shepherds pie is short on meat, heavy on potatoes and watery.
google avatar

Anthony D.

Yelp
Breda, the owner? was very friendly and struck up a conversation with us explaining the restaurant opening was delayed due to Covid and construction on sidewalk and building. Well I am very happy this cool spot is finally open! Excellent experience all around for my wife and son. The food was served hot and our server Sarah was awesome and attentive. We ordered the grilled octopus, white and black pudding, crispy brussel sprouts for starters. For entrees we tried the bolognese, chicken parm, and the pork shank. Food was delicious and we will certainly return to try the rest of the menu.
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
Nice intimate spot for drinks and apps. My husband and I enjoy finding diamonds in the rough. THIS is the spot. Enjoyed FABULOUS apps at the bar, great, friendly and accommodating service. Dinner menu looks FAB and we will def return to enjoy full dinner service. If you are looking for quaint spot with beautiful decor, THIS IS THE PLACE! If there were 10 stars, we would rate it a perfect 10. Check it out, don't think you'll be disappointed! The owner, Breda, was so friendly and interested in what/where we enjoy dining and gave full thought as to what she will consider offering for menu choices for the future, HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE as she obviously aims to please.

Emily H.

Yelp
Would not recommend. Very strange vibes. The owner sat next to us at a table covered in weird Tupperware and played cooking videos on her phone, at full volume.
google avatar

Yelp
UM YUM. Cute little place located right near the red line Quincy center stop. Stopped in for a drink and apps and to check out the scene. HELLO BEER. Digging the piano too. Allen the bartender was the real deal. Professional and welcoming and knew his stuff. Octopus and Burrata app amazing. Nice addition to the neighborhood! BRAVO.

Maryann M.

Yelp
Food great, service awesome, able to talk & not shout a conversation. Love our host& owner filled us with information about the restaurant. Going back to try more on menu.

Yelp
Brand new to Quincy Center and a welcome breath of fresh air. The menu seems to be Italian/Irish with some classic flatbread pizzas and traditional Shepard's Pie. I had the Truffle Mac & Cheese. First, it's totally delicious. Second, crushed truffles. I repeat, crushed. Truffles. That's in the Mac. It MAKES the dish and with ditalini pasta, it's a fantastic portion of cheesy goodness. Hubs had the Shepard's Pie and it was amazing. The portion is small BUT the flavor is there. It's very traditional and has peas in it. The mashed on top was great. Now, here's the thing. The portions are not large. In fact, you might see the prices and see the food and ask "why does this cost that?!" Hear me out. Quincy Center is up and coming and has been for a while. Walking around down town, you don't want to be so full of food that you're ready to nap not do you want to be carrying around leftovers. Hubs and I left feeling full, but not too full, and satisfied. We could easily see ourselves on a nice evening of more walking and hanging out in the center rather than going home to curl up and sleep. The point here is give it a chance. Solid flavor and presentation of a small portion just might be exactly what you're looking for!! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Fun little local bar. My husband enjoyed the lamb shepherds pie and a decent selection of beer choices. I had selections from their bites menu: Brussel sprouts, which were delicious, rainbow caulIflower and chicken wings. Fun night out.

Annette D.

Yelp
tried last night for first time - appetizer pork dumplings were so good; hubby had lobster ravioli - they were filled and the sauce had lobster as well- I tried black/white pudding which was so flavorful - but the absolute best was the bread pudding with salted caramel ice cream and rum sauce - we devoured that and regretted only getting one to share - Karen the bartender was very pleasant and super efficient- will definitely be back

Bernadette C.

Yelp
Tokenfire restaurant is the Bomb!! Delicious chicken parmesan again last night. Juicy chicken with crispy coating YUM! and flavorful homemade marinara sauce coating the perfectly al dente angel hair. Highly recommend Tokenfire. Gourmet meals from scratch at excellent prices. Wonderful service. Ambience is cozy and decorated to a very high standard. Check it out!

Jeanne K.

Yelp
Just a shout out for Tokenfire Restaurant. This restaurant was only open a few months and Covid hit, then it had to remain closed for months due to new construction over the restaurant for Vets housing. We had dinner there last night and met the owner Breda who was very cordial and hands on regarding the operation of the restaurant. We had the Irish lox app, a burger and the Shepherd's Pie. All was delicious. My husband is very fussy re Shepherd's Pie (no corn please) and he gave his seal of approval on this one. I am also fussy regarding my martini and this one passed the test. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and tastefully decorative reflecting the season and Irish heritage of the owner. There is plenty of free parking on Coddington Street after 5 pm. Lets support this new business, a great addition to the dining scene by a local resident.

Yelp
A great new spot, called Tokenfire opened in Quincy center a few weeks ago. Located across from the public library and right next to the post office. This will be my second time coming here and every time it has been great! The first time was with friends and we shared Brussel sprouts, truffle Mac and cheese, while I ordered the Salmon for my entree. Everything came out nice and hot and my Salmon was cooked to perfection. The second time, my hubby and I stopped in for a nightcap and dessert. It was around 7:30 and the place was definitely busy. We were able to score a few seats at the bar since the couple was just about to leave. I ordered their Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey ( it is AMAZING)! My husband had a Baileys on the rocks. We shared the Oreo Cannolis (yummy) and the Fig Bread Pudding (also yummy). If you are looking for a new Quincy spot, check out Tokenfire, you won't be disappointed. Side note: Parking can be tough, but if you get there early enough you can find street parking!

Lisa D.

Yelp
Well helloooo and welcome to Quincy! Recently tried this place out with a couple of friends. Breeda, the owner is super nice and really makes this place welcoming from the minute you walk in the door. It's small but cozy and the whole setup is pretty interesting. Irish owner and a chef from Italy makes for a strange combo on paper but it all comes together. We tried the cod croquettes, brussel sprouts, truffle mac n cheese and the garlic confit flatbread followed by the Tokenfire burger and flat iron steak, fries and smoke whipped potatoes as sides. Cod croquettes are holy s^%#! good. Absolute must try and I'm not into cod. The lemon aioli it sits on is amazing. Brussel sprouts were good but missing something. Truffle Mac is outstanding. It's made with ditalini and is not that soupy style at all. It's a packed tight gooey consistency that has you struggling to end the strings of cheese that come with lifting the fork. Flatbread was simple and crisp. My tip for eating this is to smash and spread the garlic cloves and ricotta to better cover the dough. The burger was magic! Get the burger. The fries are perfectly cooked wedge style. Crisp outside, fluffy potato inside. The steak was my least favorite but I should have ordered it medium well as my medium came out more on the rare side. But it comes with a vincotti sauce which is slightly sweet which added a cool Element to it. Oh and by all means, grab a Skrewball made with peanut butter whiskey. It is incredible! Overall, a definite high recommend! to

Russ K.

Yelp
Wow. What a great new spot. I'll echo the other reviews, warm staff - great food. We split some small plates and all were excellent, the octopus was sublime. I will be back for sure to sample more of the menu.
google avatar

Erika S.

Yelp
I had the salmon and it was on point! The chef was very personable and came out to greet people when he could. Kristy the bartender was also great. What a great addition to Quincy center. I'll definitely be coming back.
google avatar

Meghan W.

Yelp
Such a lovely place! We totally stopped here on a whim and we're so glad we did! An intimate, cozy atmosphere with absolutely delicious food, friendly service (shout out to Amanda!), and quirky drinks. Make sure you order the Brussels sprouts and the half chicken! Also, the desserts are dangerously good: the bread pudding and panna cotta especially stand out. The staff were so kind and accommodating: the chef heard it was my birthday and gave us a complimentary dessert! We will definitely be back, and I'm telling everyone I know to come here as well!

Yelp
Tokenfire is one of my new favorite places in Quincy. The food is amazing absolutely fantastic. The chefs do a really great job there. The atmosphere is fantastic as well it's such a great spot. Also the staff is all so friendly and professional. Allen the bartender is awesome very knowledgeable and knows what he's doing. He makes everyone feel welcome at the bar and is great at his job. Overall very impressed with tokenfire and highly recommend checking them out.

Eric H.

Yelp
1st & 2nd visit: Great atmosphere, great piano player, great food... loved my medium rare, tender and great flavored steak! Fries were great.... and the rum concoction of some sort... and the Fig Pudding, omg!!! I ate like a KING 3rd visit 2 weeks later. Food was good. Since I was alone I sat at the bar. The bartender was hardly attentive. I tried to order a drink off the menu and too my surprise wasn't available. Asked for similar and had no clue what to suggest... that was honestly a bartender first in my books. The steak was great. I was gonna order dessert and the bartender never asked me if I wanted or needed anything else. So I just asked for my check and left. I was very disappointed tonight! To add I travel here weekly on business and my company floats my expenses so i had a blank check to burn! 4th visit will determine if I ever come back. I really want to make this a weekly place!

Yelp
I hope they smooth out things. There were certain things that were great - the brussel sprouts and the chicken wings were both delicious. Then things went downhill: 1. The waiter forgot to put in the order for the burger, and when we asked about it, he didn't tell us, he just came back after 5 or 6 minutes and said it was on the way. We were finished with most food so we got it wrapped to go, but a burger and potato wedges aren't great heated up when you wanted them in the restaurant. 2. The Caesar Salad was quite small for the price (more appetizer size than meal size). 3. Flatbread pizza reminded me of frozen pizza in taste and texture. Soft crust, not an exciting flavor; I don't recall any basil even thought it was a margarita pizza (it might have been on, but overall it did not give a great impression). 4. They have 20 beer taps but only 11 beers listed - there were some interesting beers on tap, but overall the range of choices was lackluster. 5. Waiter didn't know where Greater Good Pulp beer was from (we didn't either), and said it was a straight IPA, no citrus, although it was quite citrusy. I was fine with the choice, but the waiter should brush up on the 11 beers (and most are common brands so it's really just knowing about 4 or 5 of the unusual ones). We will try it again. I read up on the place and know it's a labor of love. And it's got some interesting food and drink for Quincy Center, so I want it to succeed.

Yelp
Loved this spot!! Our group got the warm ricotta & bread app, and ordered the pork chop and burger for mains. Everything was delicious and the wait staff was super friendly.

Yelp
We had a great, fun and enjoyable time at Tokenfire. Food was very good - tuna tartar was the best , tacos, cauliflower, cod also good. Nice bar set up, cool mural of fields outside of Kilkenny, piano player set up the atmosphere - it made a small place be pretty lively. Lighting was very inviting and warm. Great spot! Will go back for sure.

Yelp
The food when it finally arrived was pretty good. Service was way off though. A guy and a girl were waitressing and saying they would do things like bring water or a sharp knife and then would forget. Got brought an appetizer we didn't order, sent it back. The older lady that walks around asking you how your doing tried to get our food out quicker and finally it arrived. The front door opens and the cold comes in. No hostess to speak of on a Sunday night. We were told "chef wasn't in". Avoid on a Sunday night. Not in a hurry to go back anytime soon.

You will not be disappointed coming to this cozy warm small restaurant. I loved how the owners came by to chat and get to know us. 20 beers on tap and an amazing Menu. The Kale Salad, the Brussels sprouts, the Octopus and the Shepherd's pie were all a big hit accompanied by the sounds of a baby grand piano in the background. Listen, Drink and Socialize.

Yelp
We've been eager to try& finally made it there tonight! Amanda was our amazingly friendly & knowledgeable server! Calamari was perfect, drinks were outstanding-Hancock Sour & Bohemian homemade cavatelli was delicious & my husband enjoyed his shepherd's pie...be sure to save room for the fig bread pudding & ask for an extra scoop of vanilla gelato...yum! So worth the trip! Especially if you get Amanda!!!

Yelp
The place is tiny. Very loud. Ordered 2 different beers that were on menu. They didn't have either. Bartender was very slow. North end type staff trying to be Irish. Have never tasted so much salt in every dish. Decent burger for $17 Would never go back. Don't waste your $ or time.

Yelp
This is the kind of place you see reviews about on Yelp, and you say, "let's check this place out!" Unfortunately, in checking out Tokenfire, we discovered just how poor their customer service is. It was our friend's birthday for goodness sake, and instead of being accommodating, we were told that we needed to move out of our seats at the bar because they were already taken. Come to find out, later on after other people sat there, that bar seating is first come, first serve, and we, along with others were just passed over. There's no real reservation system, and we feel like everyone there waiting along with us were ultimately dismissed and disrespected. This is no way to operate any business. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back to Tokenfire, and we WILL encourage everyone we know to stay away from now on. Utterly DISAPPOINTING! You guys could do so much better :-(
