This place is phenomenal! Been to all 3; each are different enough to be individually unique, but consistent and very well balanced to maintain our confidence. Every dish was fresh, elegant and packed with flavor. Location is clean and classy, and even better in the summer months with an open space concept. Staff is professional without being pretentious, kind, and helpful in English. Definitely recommend going if you’re in the area.

Tokos Resto – Tartu’s Quiet Knockout By the river in Tartu, with a view that makes you stop mid-sentence, sits Tokos—a sleek, modern European spot that had me suspicious at first glance. Too polished. Too perfect. But then the food came. The entrées? Divine. I lucked out sitting with the kids—more leftovers for me. Then came the white asparagus dish. When my wife’s entrecôte landed, I almost felt regret. Then I tasted the asparagus. No regrets. Just quiet, reverent awe. Dessert was a rhubarb crème brûlée with lemongrass ice cream. I asked for “the rhubarb one” and got something far beyond what I deserved. Tartu surprised me. Tokos sealed the deal. It’s on the list for next time, no question.

What an amazing experience. All of the dishes were so refined and surprising. The service was top quality. The restaurant itself was very beautiful.

This could easily be one of the best places in Tartu and yet it fails to deliver. Location is perfect, view is perfect. And there it kinda stops. Service is mediocre, but at least the girls try hard My biggest issue is with the food. It looks fab and entrees are. Main courses, though, major let down: I make better duck (watch Gordon Ramsay for 3min to learn how), what the hell is "vegetarian duck" - did you completely ran out of ideas? The only good main was white fish but that was exactly the same as kids fish dish - slightly bigger but priced 3x vs kids fish. So, order entrees, or kids menu, forget mains. And enjoy views

Absolute recommendation - We’ve had a wonderful experience! The location is great, central but calm, with a nice view over the river. Decor is modern and cozy. The menu is small but refreshingly original. Food and drinks were amazing! Plus, the staff was absolutely delightful. We’ll definitely pop by again!

Very nice fine dining restaurant in Tartu. All the food was delicious and very unique. The service was excellent, they even brought out a flower vase with water for our flowers. Sometimes the service was a bit slow, but nothing too bad. I'm rating it 4 stars because the food is quite expensive.
