Strawberry Shortcake Perfection! I first had their strawberry shortcake when my friend surprised me with it on my birthday—and I’ve been hooked ever since. It was so good that I had to go back and get it for myself again. Truly the best shortcake I’ve ever had! The cake is light and airy, the cream is perfectly whipped, and the strawberries are fresh and juicy—just the right balance of sweetness without being overwhelming. Every bite is pure joy. What makes it even better is how thoughtful and transparent they are. They actually tell you which desserts contain gelatin, which is such a rare and considerate touch. That level of honesty really makes them stand out. If you’re a fan of strawberry shortcake—or just incredible desserts in general—you owe it to yourself to try this one. Absolutely unforgettable!

This has been our go to place for birthday cakes, cookies, macaroons and shaved ice for many years. The staffs are wonderful and they use high quality ingredients. We love their strawberry shortcake. It’s creamy, fresh with the right level of sweetness. We’ve tried most of the flavors of shaved ice. They are all great! The ice is flavorful and flaky from the top of the bowl to the bottom, even when we bought them as takeouts. The Tiramisu is unique and so rich in flavor. We’ve tried the other two shaved ice stores on Dundas st east. This cafe is definitely the best. If you are debating between this store and the other two stores nearby, don’t debate, just go to this one. It is way better. This is a high quality bakery/shaved ice shop.

I absolutely love all the cakes and shaved ice they offer here. Their shaved ice is the best I have ever tried in Toronto — it’s incredibly fluffy and lightly sweetened, which pairs perfectly with any toppings you choose. I’ve also tried their matcha cheesecake, mango cake, and tiramisu, and each dessert was delicious and well-made. The flavors are authentic and satisfying. The store has plenty of comfortable seating, making it a cozy place to sit, relax, and enjoy time chatting with friends.

Amazing place, cozy and really loved their art interior ❤️ Japanese cheese cake was just ok. But Mango Gelato Cake and chocolate cake was mind blowing . Cute ( loved their detailing ) and tasty ❤️❤️ Even got sweet bread crumbs as complimentary, very sweet of them. Must visit ❤️❤️

This is so great! Really great pastries. I am not a Japan expert. But the treats are great. The Japanese cheesecake is yummy. Service is very good. Atmosphere is cozy but very bright.

Google
Nice shop, great pastries and dessert. Japanese cheesecake is delicious. Pistachio cookies really tasty too. Service was fast and friendly. My new go to for Japanese cheesecake. Will be returning to try other items too.

Google
Always our go to place for cakes, they have the freshest and most delicious cakes with a variety of options. Their cakes have never disappointed us. Macarons are also a hit too, crunchy top and tasty in between. Atmosphere is also really cozy with a selection of different baked cookies/muffins and biscuits. Highly recommend if you’re looking for 10/10 fresh and quality cakes!

Google
Delicious cheesecake! So many options to choose from. We came near the end of the day and there were still many flavours left! The cold drink selection is small, but the baked goods section is well stocked too! Very cute inside. Recommend the strawberry cake!!

Yelp
What a cute hidden gem! The workers are very friendly, informing us what's popular and best selling items. It was our first time there. The location was very quiet, clean and perfect cafe setting! I really enjoyed the soft and freshness of the cake! They also have a baskets side to purchase Asian style breads, cookies and other yummy goodies! Can't wait to go back

Yelp
If you love pistachio and cheesecake, you would be in love with this cake. We had to special order it through the phone as this cake is not always available in store. All my friends loved it but we didn't have enough for people to take a second slice. Will definitely be back to try the other cakes. (Ps. We were too eager to try this cake and forgot to take a pic of the uncut cake)

Yelp
The fruit cake was really good. I also got bingsu and it was good too but im not a fan of bingsu. Service is nice and place is a nice cafe to relax and chat with friends or do work.

Yelp
Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth?! Look no further, this place has a wonderful selection of single slice cakes to full cakes, macaroons and shaved iced. I stumbled on this cafe during COVID and only had the chance to order take out. I've been here a lot over the past 3 years and this is my go to spot in Mississauga for desserts. Our repeat order is the shaved ice, my favorite flavors are strawberry and mango. They have two new shaved iced flavors out: yakult and Hokkaido black sugar. The service is always amazing and the cafe is really well kept. We'll definitely be coming back to try their new flavored shaved ice as I've never seen these flavors before at other Korean shaved iced stores.

Yelp
Went to this cute cafe while waiting for my son to get his haircut. The place is cozy with cute pastries and cakes. They also offer drinks but did not try any of it. I decided to just get 2 things because it was a bit pricey. Matcha cookie was good not too sweet 8/10- a bit pricey for a cookie though $4.50 for just one cookie. Earl Gray Madeline 6/10 it was really dry and meh for taste. $5.99 for 3 Overall I would say 7/10z

Yelp
Tokyo cheesecake has beautifully crafted delicious cakes. The bakery is a favorite spot for our family birthday cakes as well as for gifts and treats. Most recently we got the chocolate cheesecake and I'd like to break down each delicious layer. On the bottom is a chocolate cookie crumble crust, crispy and buttery. Then a layer of basque cheesecake, a nice baked layer... how does one describe a proper basque cheesecake? They are not so sweet, a tad on the eggy and soft, with a slight roasted flavour. In the middle is a rich layer of chocolate fudge cream. Then comes the fattest layer, the chocolate mousse. It is light and creamy and airy. The cake has a thin coat of a rich dark chocolate sauce and topped with fresh berries and a roche. The layers are well proportioned and the depth of chocolate is so fine. It is a delicious cake and totally satisfied my chocolate cravings. If you don't want a cheesecake, the the belgium cake for the chocolate lovers is terrific. The strawberry shortcake is also very nice and a favorite with the kids. The frosting is light and airy and made with quality ingredients you can taste. The cakes are baked and assembled in store. Can't go wrong with the buttery cookies and treats. They make a great addition to afternoon tea. A gem of a bakery to have in Mississauga.

Yelp
This is a cute Japanese cafe that serves cakes and cheesecakes as a whole or slice and coffee items. Went here to pick up a cake for my mom. Bought the double layer mango cheesecake and it was divine! While I wasn't a big fan of the chocolate crust, the i loved the cheesecake part of it! It was the right amount of sweetness and not heavy with every bite. The second layer was sort some of gellee then topped with mango cake crumb.

Yelp
We'd just eaten a tasty lunch and were in the mood for a sweet treat, so Tokyo Cheesecake Cafe seemed like quite the no-brainer. We walked into the place and there were certainly plenty of choices, as the place has cheesecake (of course) but also plenty of pastries and other delectable-looking items. I figured I should keep it simple, though, so I went with a slice of their original cheesecake. I was expecting a variation on the almost ubiquitous Japanese cheesecake, but this isn't that. It tastes far creamier than that tends to be, and while I can't say it reminded me at all of a traditional cheesecake, I enjoyed it quite a bit and I'd happily eat it again any time.

Yelp
Pretty close to a 5*, even with all this Covid stuff going on. Name is sorta confusing. Originally, I had written a review under BNC Bakery, but they've officially changed their name, so any reviews under that name disappeared with the name change. I've never gotten cheesecakes from here, maybe I should though...since it's their namesake. "Tokyo Cheesecake Cafe" is a Korean bakery. And, in the city at least, I prefer to pick up stuff from here than from Chinese bakeries. It's less sweet and I've never had an issue with freshness. Pre-name change, they used to serve bingsu which was really good. Not sure if they still do them as you'll hafta eat it elsewhere now. Pre-Covid, this place was pretty busy with primarily middle-aged Korean ladies who gather around, drink coffee, share pieces of cake, and probably gossip about their children. I miss those days as their tables are all stacked up now. Cream buns are really nice!

Yelp
This is my favourite bakery in all of Mississauga, I would go here everyday if it wasn't so heavy on my wallet. Each bun is around $3 and the macarons are $4 each. The sweets are very well made and they never miss- perfectly sweet and soft and fluffy breads. If your a sucker for cute things and aesthetics, this bakery is a must-try. The flavours are unique and all items are fresh and trendy! I heard their cakes are a fan favourite so I look forward to trying them next!!

Yelp
I love their black sesame matcha cheese cake. The staff is always so friendly. I've tried the yogurt cheesecake but I'm not a fan of yogurt sweets but my friend who loves yogurt, enjoyed this dessert a lot. Next time, I want to try their shaved ice.

Yelp
Food: MY GO TO PLACE FOR CAKE!! Soooo good The cakes, bingsu, sweet bread and pastries are so yummy!!! The cakes aren't too sweet which I LOVE. Very light/fluffy cake (similar to a Japanese cheesecake texture). There are 2 sizes for the cakes (regular & large) and a variety of pastries and other desserts to choose from. Also, not all the pastries are sweet. There are savoury ones too! My personal faves: matcha cake and the sweet & savoury hotdog bun Atmosphere: they renovated the place so it looks very nice, clean, and Instagram friendly. Perfect place for a light snack/treat for yourself and a friend! Service: Kind of slow. Most recent time I've been there I was waiting at the front for 5 minutes until someone finally came from the back and told me they'd help me. If you're buying a birthday cake, they give you a free birthday topper. Price: Fair for the quality and taste! Regular size cake is around $25, large cake around $30. Pastries are from $2-5, bingsu $6-10 Recommend? YES!

Yelp
Was looking for birthday cake for my family, and found this place, all of my family loved this mango flavor cheese cake, it was not too sweet, and didn't have that artificial mango taste, which was quite good^^ would definitely be my go-to spot when buying birthday cakes in the future

Yelp
I ordered the matcha double layer cheesecake through Ubereats for my birthday, and I was super happy with what I got. The cake is absolutely adorable and well-packed in a nice box with the requested utensils. Don't be fooled by the size of the cake - a small slice packs a punch. The top layer is delicious, light, matcha mousse that is creamy, flavorful, and the perfect balance of sweet and bitter. The second layer is a hefty cheesecake, which was a challenge to cut through when cold. At the bottom is a crumbly chocolate crust. All together, they make a delicious, downright addictive cake that I absolutely did not want to share.
