Stayed at the Fantasy Springs hotel last week and honestly, I’m very dissatisfied with the overall experience. While the interiors are undoubtedly beautiful, the services are impeccably LACKING. Do NOT be fooIed by the decor that try to mask the hotel’s incompetencies.
First, it took the Bell Desk FOREVER to find our luggage that was deposited earlier that morning. Many guests including myself were just made to sit and do nothing in the waiting area for a LONG time while they’re supposedly retrieving our baggage. I asked if I they can just be brought up to our room upon arrival so that I can already go up, but the staff said NO.
Secondly, when the luggage arrived, I was supposed to take them all the way up to our room by myself. This was after a long and exhausting day at the park. Seriously, what kind of hotel is this? Not even a bell hop? Even cheaper hotels have much better service and customer experience.
Third, while most of the staff were friendly and hospitable, one of the staff at the reception and another at the bell desk were disgustingly rude. This was even the next day around 11AM when there were barely any guests in the lobby.
Lastly, the lack of amenities is appalling. The absolute worst among all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan. Even as simple as bath salts, they did not have. I even called Front Desk to ask. The room pajamas are also so thin, brown, and ugly. To think, customers are paying a premium for this overpriced but really BUDGET hotel.
The Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Package is not cheap, and while the Fantasy Springs Land itself was nice, this hotel was really disappointing. So much wasted potential. 1/10 NOT WORTH IT!
Oh and to add, there is NO EXCLUSIVE GIFT SHOP (only the one in DisneySea that’s mobbed by all the common park visitors 👎🏻👎🏻), and the in-house convenience store “Joyful Springs” is immensely overpriced. Just a regular 1L bottle of water is already 370 yen. 🤦🏻♀️
