Eater LA and food writers from the OC Foodies blog have praised Akatora’s inventive bowls, including a standout spicy garlic tonkotsu and a rotating selection of seasonal specials. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and the kitchen’s open concept lets diners watch the artistry behind each bowl. Tokyo Eats Curry & Ramen

Google
Found this place randomly searching for a local Japanese style restaurant and found this Gem. Tried their Chicken Curry plate as it seemed to be there go to with their BOGO promotion. The curry had a phenomenal and savory taste. I'd recommend Level 3 Spice level as it is a great blend of flavor and spice. If you're interested in having great Japanese Curry this is the spot. I also tried their potato croquette which was exquisite I ate it immediately and took a photo part way 🤣 into eating. I also have their Strawberry Matcha Latte which was a great blend and tasted perfect. Definitely coming back to try the Curry Omelet variety. This is a great spot to come with friends or if you just want to enjoy some great Japanese food solo.

Come here hungry! I had a pleasant time coming here to treat myself to some delicious katsu I was craving! The pricing for AYCE (All you can eat) katsu was very reasonable and all the choices I ate were very delicious! It took me 3 orders of Katsu to feel very full (Chicken Katsu, Chicken Katsu - Korean, and Pork Katsu - Korean). It was a relaxing ambiance on a Tuesday evening after work. Whether you are solo or with a group, either way feels welcome here. I was by myself and their staff made me feel welcome and at home with their exceptional service. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for tasty "treat yourself" dinner if you're by yourself just because.. a lovely dinner, or even some late night eats!! I found out about them from an ad on Instagram and I gotta say it delivered!

Google
Had a great experience at Tokyo Eats Unlimited Katsu. The food was really good, especially the katsus—crispy, fresh, and satisfying. The server, Andrew, was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Service was fast and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Google
Quirky looking spot but thankful they're open to hit that late night craving. We had the option to use a QR menu or order with a server and somehow got confused during that introduction with the server so just did everything through the QR code. You're able to quickly order and pay virtually so that's a nice little feature if you're introverted or if it feels a little too busy to wait for someone to come to you. Nothing over the top to rave about with the food but if you're looking for more than just microwaveable ramen after 10pm or not trying to sleep with the odor of Japanese curry and frying oil this will do the trick and you won't feel cheated out of quality unlike other late night chain ramen places in the neighborhood. Tonkatsu ramen was decent and didn't feel too oily. The tonkatsu was a little over salted but the lightness of the broth compensated so the longer you sacrificed the crispiness the more balanced your broth becomes. Jammy ramen egg included with every order and a couple of naruto fishcakes complete the aesthetics of a typical ramen bowl. Chicken katsu curry tasted like it came out of the box you buy at Tokyo Central and I mean that in every nostalgic way. Rice compressed down just enough to create that wall that slows the curry from getting soaked up immediately, perfectly fried thin cutlet that is just on the edge of being dry but a quick bath in curry makes it perfect. Only thing it was missing were chunks of carrots, potato and onions. Not sure why there's a jinro frog statue at the entrance in front of what I can only describe as a ABG wall but definitely entertaining to watch random people trying to take "cute" pictures with it.

Google
Looking for Japanese style curry, & Yelp said come here! Went with family (they went to college around here decades ago) and the area was very busy, numerous bars and restaurants. Place has several tables and high tops. Manned by a young man out front, he took our orders by memory- QR code menu did not seem to allow us to order. The BOGO chicken Katsu curry was a real deal dollar wise, plus the kitchen made them look super cute - rice was shaped as cat and bear. I enjoyed the crunch of the breading on the katsu, it kept the chicken still tender. This spot no longer has ramen dishes from what I overheard the staff telling a customer. Companion got pork katsu curry with egg over rice. It looked equally delicious, meat also tender. I think there are separate menu options for vegetables, the curry dish only has the red pickled ginger. Okonomiyaki was great: crunchy and still tender inside, topped with a lot bonito flakes and a mixture of mayonnaise and brown sauce that was slightly tangy/salty. Clearly caters to nearby college students and offices, busy takeout. Would come again if am in the area. Lots of free and paid parking depending on on the time you arrive.

Google
Initially came in for takeout but then decided we wanted to be seated, which was okay but when we asked for a table, guy who was our server had there craziest attitude with us. When we ordered I asked for the chicken katsu with the cat on it and he came with a bear one. I honestly wouldn’t have minded but when we went to eat the curry it was literally cold. Like ROOM TEMPERATURE which for the price was unbelievably terrible. Service was slow and poor, we were only two people with a small order and the restaurant was empty besides a small group at another table. For the aesthetic this place might seem cute but honestly I would not come back considering the quality, I was so underwhelmed and our hosts attitude alone ruined the entire experience for us. How cute is this tho. lol so sad it didn’t live up to its expectations

Google
Curry was cute and tasty! Spice on the side was the move cause it's very spicy. Server was super nice. Tempura udon comes with 5 fried shrimp which seemed like a nice bonus. Was my first time trying g okinomiyaki and it was pretty good with a nice savory sauce. Came here on a Tuesday night and it was pretty chill.

My husband and I came around 11pm. Our waiter was a young man that did a wonderful job and was happy to be there even though it was late. We don’t usually leave reviews but he did so well we wanted to. He manned the whole resturant on his own, which was surprisingly crowded. The food was delicious and came out piping hot and fast! We are from Arizona but will be coming back again when we’re in town.

Yelp
This place has a smaller parking lot, so just be aware it might be a bit busy, but trust me it's totally worth it. If you're coming here with a group, and you're worried about how to divide the check, you can actually just scan the QR code to start the AYCE, pay for yourself with your drinks and even add tip on there! It's super easy! The interior of the restaurant is super cute, with it's decoration, there's some nice decorative plants that's in the middle. Seating can be a bit tight, so just be aware of that. The service was great! They were always checking in on us and as soon as we were at least half way with our meals, they made sure if we wanted to order more and put it in right away! The Katsu Plate was actually a good start, the salad on the plate was light and delicious. The Sauce I got on the Chicken Katsu was a great compliment. Katsu Curry, the curry was full of flavor, it was a tiny bit thinner than I'm used to, but doesn't change the fact that it was tasty! Shrimp Katsu was my perfect finisher, it was a good size, and super crispy! The price you pay is a typical price for a single plate of Katsu Curry, so it's totally worth it in my opinion! Try it out!

Yelp
First off the service is top notch. Very friendly and explained how the process worked. I side was clean and at the time was not too busy. Had 3 adults with us and the server explained to use try QR code to put in the first order . Initially confusing but proceeded to order and the odd part was you need to pay as well as include the tip before you get your first rounds. Also since we had a child with us the server takes the child's order which we pay separately at the end of the meal. Food was not bad with dishes that inclu ded chicken Katsu, pork katsu, and shrimp tempura. Also curry, rice and cabbage salad. You can choose any combination of the dishes The chicken and pork were very thin. The dishes took quite a bit of time from ordering to getting it as we figured it was fresh and made to order. Recommend if going to order the next dish right when your food comes out to decrease the wait time. Overall the food was good do the price and can't beat AYCE.

Yelp
I like this place so much. It's better than Cocoichibanya! Also, the sweetest service. I'm coming back.

Yelp
First things first: Tokyo Eats and Seoul Eats have swapped locations, which definitely threw me off at first. Tokyo Eats is now where Seoul Eats used to be, and vice versa. I was confused when I arrived because I remembered Seoul Eats being in that spot. I was craving the mentaiko pasta from Tokyo Eats, but it looks like the menu has changed entirely. It seems they are still in the process of getting things set up, but during my visit the only offerings were curry, katsu, and ramen, and the ramen was only available as an AYCE option. Since I was already there, I decided to try the new menu, but I really missed the variety of their original menu. The portion sizes for both the curry rice and ramen were large, which made the AYCE option feel unrealistic. Smaller portions would have made it easier to sample different curries or ramen flavors and would feel more aligned with the concept. The AYCE that included ramen cost a little more, but with only one ramen flavor. I don't feel like this is worth it and I wouldn't order this option next time. The service, however, was wonderful; our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I just hope they consider bringing back some of their old menu items, because that's what made me love Tokyo Eats in the first place.

Yelp
Quick bite after a concert, we came later towards the night on a weekday and wasn't busy at all! The whole vibe of the restaurant was very cozy. Our waitress was super helpful when we we had questions and recommended the okonomiyaki and Bacon pasta for our main dishes! These entrees definitely didnt disappoint, the okonomiyaki was crispy and paired very well with the sauces they had added. The Bacon pasta was super creamy! Noodles were the perfect amount of firmness that my partner and I liked! Overall, definitely a great place for a savory meal, will definitely be coming back for seconds!

The ambience is nice and quiet. Our waitress was very helpful and the food was really good

Yelp
Craving Japanese, came around opening time. 6 pm. Restaurant opens at 6pm. Service is quick, as it's just opening, it's gets busier later on. Nice little decor, Japanese decoration The restaurant is located on a busy street, front of the store faces the street, parking in the back and entrance is in the back. The food is good, love the curry, the spice do have a nice kick to it which I like.
google avatar

Garrett H.

Yelp
First, the menu was very confusing in how to order. I did the katsu and ramen AYCE, and ordered it, but it didn't come with the sides like rice. You had to order it separately, which was weird. The server was nice, but the menu could have been explained better. Like that there was an option for spicy food. The food was okay. Katsu was fine, but the ramen was extremely basic and lacking toppings. For the price, it's alright. Wouldn't expect anything high quality or taste regarding the food. Ambiance is probably the best as it did look cute.

Yelp
This place certainly lives up to its catchphrase: "World's Cutest Katsu." The parking lot was a little small, but we managed to get a spot. I ordered the Beef belly curry, my dad ordered the Signature Tokyo pasta, and my mom ordered the Beef belly udon. It took 30-ish minutes for all the food to come out, so we got complimentary Edamame beans. (I personally like edamame beans so yay!) I loved my curry. It had a little bear molded out of rice, and it was so adorable I didn't want to eat it! My dad loved his pasta. He said it had the right amount of spice where it's really good. My mom said her udon was too salty. We also got a complimentary waffle ice cream, and it was perfectly fine except the fact that my teeth kept getting poked by the cold. The service was excellent because the waiter checked in on us very frequently. The ambiance was like a south-east Asian cherry blossom restaurant, and the two famous soju frogs were there! I will definitely come again. This is one of the best curry spots ever!

Yelp
This is my hidden spot for ramen whenever I come to Disney trip but when I went with my family and ate there dining area I was a little disappointed. It usually good whenever I take them to go but this time when I first dine in the food was not up to standard. The tempura was not cook but the crust is burnt. It's liked I have a raw shrimp wrap on breadcrumbs. I have to send it back to the kitchen and the second time I they served it same thing they said that the tempura is supposedly liked that but I told them that not true for I used to cook tempura at my job and I know how shrimp looked liked when it was cooked to perfection. They try to do it again for the third time but I said it "no need " and if you're a first timer the place is kinda tuck away from the street and sign is different from it said on the map. The inside ambiance is pretty good it's spacious for groups and the have outdoor spaces.

Yelp
Beautifully decorated interior that makes me miss Japan!! I ordered the Pork Katsu curry and my friend got the gyoza curry. Both dishes were very delicious with great portions for a reasonable price! I also got takoyaki which was made perfectly and not too chewy. Prob my favorite takoyaki I've had. Definitely recommend for a more chill date/casual dinner! Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
My buddy and I used to come here back when they served Japanese street food and we thought it was pretty good. Came back and found that they changed their menu to be all you can eat katsu curry and ramen. I thought maybe the service would be worse now or maybe the food quality would drop but that wasn't the case at all! The staff is very kind and helpful. Even though the menu is all you can eat, they still give recommendations and the service is really fast. I could tell that they are cooking orders as they come in rather than keeping stuff on a heating tray all day. Great decorations and vibe to the restaurant as well. Overall even better than when we came in the past! Will definitely come by here again soon

Yelp
The place is really chill & had several good options. At first, we couldn't decide between a curry plate, pasta, udon, ramen, or sides. We settled on 2 pcs of the pork katsu w rice & salad, along w/ the seafood pasta - perfect for sharing. We were not disappointed! They have an appetizer sampler platter that I want to try next time; it was a little too big for our small party this time. Although there seemed to be only 1 server in the front, he handled things well. He refilled drinks quickly, spent time w/ customers (answering ?s, taking orders, etc.), & was attentive. We'd definitely go back! Oh, discounts/ offers as of our visit, 6/27/25 - a 10% discount for CASH payment, a discount for healthcare/ first responders, & a BOGO chicken katsu curry rice dish.
google avatar

Yelp
The mentaiko pasta was creamylicious, and that would be the best word to describe it. The mentaiko definitely added the extra umami to the dish. The place kept almost all the same decors of the previous restaurant, but added some Tokyo theme inspired decorations as well. There was only one server, but he was efficient and friendly. The curry pork katsu don was pretty average with the curry flavorful, but the pork was somewhat dry and chewy. Overall, it's a nice addition to the SOCO of Downtown Fullerton
google avatar

Chung P.

Yelp
Service was attentive and checked in on us often. Chicken katsu curry was good it had a kick at spice level 2. The chicken itself is juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Restaurant and parking is spacious on a Thursday evening. Would recommend definitely comeback next time.

Yelp
Im not a curry fan but the way they have it, its a good eat. Reasonable prices, raman was good.

Yelp
If you're looking for a late night spot, Tokyo Eats is the place to go!! It's our second time here and they are so so so nice!!! They had a BOGO deal for the chicken curry and the service was so fast! Would recommend dropping by if you're in Downtown Fullerton :))) Adding to my #besteafied collection

Yelp
I can't believe I always drive past this spot and never gave it a chance until today. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. OMG. We ordered the chicken curry katsu, seafood pasta, bacon pasta and had takoyaki for an appetizer. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the flavors were on point! It was so good 10/10, one of the best in OC for sure. The portions were huge and I loved that the katsu itself was perfectly battered, nice thin crispy layer that actually sticks to the chicken instead of separating like other katsu places I've been to. Our host Gustavo was super friendly, helpful and attentive always checking up on us. The place is spacious, clean, along with plenty of seating inside. We will definitely be back for more!

Yelp
Service is weird! Curry was watery, and paying before you get food on QR code is weird. Was very hopeful it would be good but everything lacked the flavors I was hoping for!
google avatar

David V.

Yelp
We love this place. We've been coming here since it first opened some time ago and witnessed its various incarnations over time. My personal favorite, which has stuck around throughout most of the restaurant's changes, is the seafood pasta (which now comes in various types of - all of which are amazing!). Highly recommend!! Hard to beat this little gem. Small, intimate, excellent take on Japanese cuisine, good service, and all around a great place to enjoy a delicious meal. What's not to love??

Yelp
4.5 stars: a cute shop located in the Alley of Soco. There was only 1 waiter who was also the cashier but he greeted us right away and did his best to get to all the guests as soon as he could. Parking: limited street or you can try the parking lot in the back. Got the BOGO chicken katsu curry and a mentaiko pasta. Chicken Kastsu curry: 9/10, they did a very good job with the very crispy yet lightly breaded katsu. Minus 1 because the curry was too watery but at least it didn't taste like it was curry out of the box. Mentaiko pasta: 9/10, so creamy and they gave a nice heaping of mentaiko, has a very subtle kick and love that they cooked it with some mushrooms. TLDR: Can't wait to come back and try their other menu items!

J_ B.

Yelp
The curry is to die for!!! The people that work here are so niceee!! I was skeptical at first because the place was tucked away but inside is so cute I just love the ambiance!! Overall 10/10

Yelp
After a long day of theme park food, all I wanted was a big bowl of ramen to lull me to sleep. Except, I have a sesame allergy. Which means I can't always eat ramen because they either A.) Have sesame in the dish or B.) The staff is unsure and I'm not in the mood to play Russian roulette. My husband graciously called to ask if their ramen was sesame free. And while their tonkatsu ramen was ~technically~ sesame free, the women on the phone did warn that the spicy tonkatsu did have sesame and they couldn't guarantee there wouldn't be cross contamination. She recommended the udon as it was sesame free and would make a good substitute. We made our way anyways, because I always appreciate honesty and my husband still wanted ramen. And, man, this hit the spot! Not only was the food we ate delicious, our server remembered our call and was super attentive to my allergy. She made sure to explain my dishes and quell any possible worry on the dishes I consumed. I got the beef belly udon and a side of shrimp tempura. The serving size for the tempura was more than I expected - which was a plus! The udon was delicious and hit the spot. Great beef & onion flavor. The noodles were soft and filling and the side order of shrimp tempura was delicious. My husband got the spicy tonkatsu ramen. He dug right in before I got even take a picture! He gave it high praise and said it reminded him of the ramen he had in Japan. He said the broth had great depth of flavor, the spice level was balanced, and the meat and noodles were delicious. He complimented it so much I was jealous and sad I couldn't eat any! Overall, a wonderful experience and exactly what we needed after a long day at Disney! Slowly being lulled to sleep after our meal. I really appreciated our server for her attentiveness. Always feels good to have someone take a good allergy seriously!

Yelp
First time here and never disappoint. The Spicy tonku katsu for the win. Best Ramen I've ever had. Highly recommended. Great for the change of weather when it's cooler.

Yelp
Cute quiet place to get Japanese food with a friendly and attentive staff. Very cute designs and presentations on their katsu curry as well.

Yelp
SERVICE was fantastic! So honest and thoughtful for the customer experience. The restaurant was so COZY and warm on a cold day with a cute hole in the wall brightly lit Downtown Tokyo store front vibe. Great food between the combination of the CHICKEN CURRY, KATSU and rice which was very satiating. The pickled daikon was also a good palette cleanser. It was my first time having Japanese curry and it was thick and very flavorful. They were smaller portions so would be good to get some appetizers. That Jinro frog gave me a Soju and Sapporo craving. Definitely delivered! I will be back for sure.

Yelp
I love myself a BOGO deal so when I saw that Tokyo Eats is offering a BOGO chicken katsu curry rice, I had to stop by. For parking, we parked at the Soco parking structure with no problem and walked to the restaurant. There was no one when we came in so service was quick. The katsu was crispy and the curry was good. The dish was actually very filling and I left feeling super satisfied!

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday night around 7 PM. Not too busy, and it's easy to miss as it's tucked into a little alleyway, but super cute once you go in. Food was good, server was a kind young man--we may return! Further breakdown below: * Parking (2/5): No nearby free parking. Don't park across from the entrance because it's for other businesses and there are a lot of signs warning about towing. However, if you turn the corner and drive past the well-lit Soco area, you'll find a small parking lot where you can park and walk over in less than 5 mins. Not the most convenient with little ones, but doable. * Service (4/5): Young cordial man who checked on us often and made sure our girl got her bear-themed Katsu curry rice. No complaints. * Food (3.5/5): They had a BOGO chicken curry Katsu rice deal. We got one spicy one to share and one non-spicy one for our toddler. They came as cute cat and bear characters. Flavor was great; I only wished the curry was a little hotter, as it was strangely lukewarm while the Katsu was nice and hot. Good portion of rice, curry and Katsu. Quite worth it, especially with the deal. We also ordered a tonkotsu ramen, and admittedly, it was just okay. Not the best but doable. The stock just wasn't as strong and creamy as I'm used to, and definitely not the way the really good Japanese joints do it. * Ambiance (4/5): Super cute. Lots of string lights, some lanterns, a faux cherry tree, and some TVs that take you on "walks" through Japanese streets and parks was a cute touch. I can see this as a cute date place. Catchy music playing too (lots of R&B and rap). We may be back. Kids seemed to like the food and we enjoyed the experience overall.

Yelp
The chicken Katsu curry was crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying. The curry sauce was rich and comforting. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for a quick, tasty meal! It's a really cute place. Makes me feel like I'm in Japan again!

Grecia D.

Yelp
I've been curious about this cute little restaurant for a minute and I am veryyyy happy to say that the katsu curry was perfect! I love chicken katsu and the bowls here are such a cozy treat, they have the option to kawaii your plate if you ask. The servers are so nice and the AYCE special is unbeatable, my date and I ate so good! so glad this place exists! :3

Yelp
I was very pleasantly surprised. Food was great. Katsu is nice and crispy. Food was served hot and quickly.

Yelp
Came here for a late night snack and it was fairly disappointing based on the reviews posted here. The food itself was just okay... okonomiyaki and croquette was as you would expect it to be. The disappointing part of this experience was the awful small inside the restaurant. It was like a restroom sewage type smell where I contemplated of leaving. I really hope it was just an off night because I do want to give it another try and order the curry as it seems like that is what they are known for. Good quick eat/drink spot when in DTF but doesn't have a cleanliness vibe.

Yelp
Bon Appetit!!! Curry Kitty is so adorable, but its going to be happy in my tum tum. Service was excellent, fast and explain the spice level to a understandable comparison. This Hidden Gems is tucked away in the Heart of Downtown Fullerton. Love the Jiro Frog that greets you when you walk in.

Yelp
This is a nice place to eat at. I enjoyed their buy one get one curry for free. The red radishes were really tasty and the curry provides a nice heat you feel within. The starter platter that has samples of different fried assortments was very worthwhile. Everything I tried was nice. Matthew provided an excellent experience. Thank you Matthew. Yelp
If you're looking for Japanese curry in the OC. This place is a must! The takoyaki was also amazing! Would definitely come back

Yelp
Very delicious spicy chicken curry katsu, and very cutely presented as well! It's not too spicy but the heat does build towards the end. Our server was friendly and seated us quickly, food came out quick too! Def would come back!

Yelp
Decent for a casual dinner spot (especially with the BOGO chicken katsu curry rice deal), but we were not wowed. + 1 for the excellent friendly service & generous portion sizes though! The curry sauce itself was just alright - it tasted watered down to us & was still spicy despite requesting a non-spicy version. The chicken katsu was good however: it was meaty and not dry. We also ordered the mentaiko udon & liked the flavor. It was a good balance of savory mentaiko & creaminess, although it was spicier than what we prefer. Udon was cooked well.

Yelp
Came again after 2 years apparently. I feel like they changed locations from the last time I came here. They now have a very different menu that is more curry noodles with various proteins. Food is a 10/10. The curry is so good and they have the cutest character curry. It was also buy 1 get 1 if you do a review or IG post. I did the post since I have a past review for them. The mentaiko noodles were amazing as well. The cream sauce was perfectly seasoned and not too heavy although it was very buttery. The mentaiko is a little spicy but I don't think it was over whelming. Inside was nice as well. There's plenty of seats and space to walk between them. The restaurant is very hidden though. It's across from an auto body shop or some kind of shop because we could hear grinding the whole time. Parking is also difficult since it's in the SOCO district. There's a small lot right in front of the shop and another small one in between the bars. Service was good here as well. Our waiter got us waters and checked in frequently. The only recommendation I have is that he didn't confirm which dish my husband wanted and ended up putting in the order for the wrong one. We then requested a side of the correct protein and apparently they don't do sides of the proteins so you'd have to get the entire dish. Overall will come back and 10/10 still recommend.

Yelp
The inside arrangements are interesting with christmas lights hung in random directions and arrangements. There are statue figures in the corner and drapes. It was not super busy and not the cleanest, but the food was tasty and for very reasonable prices. You can get both good ramen and sushi in one spot. Tonkotsu Ramen - Solid broth. The Chasu didn't look impressive but was very tender and tasty. There were plenty of noodles, and it was a great price for how much you got and the taste. HandRolls - Yellowtail Roll was fantastic. Fresh and tasty Yellowtail - Salmon Roll Snow Onion was better than the Salmon Roll Spicy Mayo. Both were tasty but I preferred the combination of ingredients of the Snow Onion Sake Don - Decent size bowl for the cost. Interestingly the sashimi was served warm but the salmon was still sashimi and raw. Server was very friendly and gave solid recommendations. I do wish the place was just a little cleaner (floors were sticky, etc.). This review is for a little while back, but at the time if you checked in through yelp you get 40% off sake. Additionally, 10% off if you use cash or if you are a healthcare worker! Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Overall: 4.5/5

Yelp
I'll be honest. I wasn't expecting to be eating here but we were nearby and the food sounded great with a handful variety of entrees to pick from. At the time we visited it wasn't as busy but slowly picked up after took our seats and ordered our food. I'll have to say, this spot is a bit hidden but feels almost like a gem of a place to eat, could be that I was extremely hungry but it had all the dishes I wanted to eat plus more! FOOD 5 piece Gyoza It was decent, I'm not a fan of fried gyoza but I enjoyed every bite of it. The sauce though, something about it. Couldn't pinpoint what the ingredients were but it paired well with every bite! Croquette This is usually a filler for me but if you're a potato fan, you'll DEFINITELY enjoy this one. I'm leaning towards "yes you should order this" if you're wanting a little extra with your entree cause this is a nice treat to have. Plus it's a pleasant snack to have when you have it for togo! Signature Tokyo Pasta I had a taste of this entree as this was my girlfriend's dish and seeing the Italian/Japanese dish mix kind of low-key becoming an interest for me....it was delightful. I wouldn't order it for myself but if you're into fusion and wanting to try something different, I'd recommend it! Texture and taste was pretty up there! Chicken Katsu Curry/Rice/Omelette Ok this was my entree...If you've come this far into my review, you already know I was starving. Normally I don't order omelette with rice as it's pretty filling but the combination with curry and the chicken katsu.....forget it. You won't put your utencils down. I haven't tried the other curry dishes but damn this was so delicious. I couldn't stop eating whilst conversating with my girlfriend....could you imagine on a first date and she see's me horfing down this amazing dish? *Tip don't order this on your first date and if you're starving. OVERALL It was enjoyable. I can't say anything bad about this place other than parking which is out of their hand. Otherwise I'd be here every weekend. It has a nice environment that's got a lowlight casual feel to it so it's great for dining in with friends you haven't seen in a long time! (that was one of the customers on the other side of the restaurant, at least that's what it seem....I was trying to see what they ordered lol) Highly recommend if you're in the area, otherwise if you despise circling around for parking, rethink your decision for another time! Thank you again, Tokyo Eats Curry & Ramen for the hospitality and amazing food! You know how to hit the spot in my stomach!

Yelp
We walked in late on a Thursday night and we were greeted warmly by the staff here. We were sat and taken care of right away, and the vibes are so nice to eat with friends, have some drinks, or go on a date. The chicken katsu curry was sooo cute and we got to choose our spice level and choice of rice animal. They didn't skimp out on the curry and the chicken was perfectly crispy. The spicy seafood pasta though.... So good! So savory and creamy. It was well balanced and definitely a standout here. Wasn't too spicy, which I liked. Seafood was cooked well too.

Yelp
Buy one and get one free! The food was so delicious and service was good! One person doing all! I wish they hire more people to help him. The ambience is cute and kids friendly! I made a reservation ahead of time too. I will come back again :)

Yelp
Came here at 8pm after seeing that tokyo eats has their BOGO special. We accidentally went to seoul eats because I guess they switched locations so make sure you navigate to the right place. As for business, for 8 pm it is relatively empty! Which is a shame because this place is pretty good and nicely decorated. The curry and katsu tasted great! The curry is very strong and pirs really well with the rice. I DO WISH! the katsu was thicker. It would help with the dishes ratio.

Yelp
Tokyo Eats - Chicken Katsu Curry Done Right Crisp, golden chicken katsu meets a rich, velvety curry sauce that's full of umami and subtle spice--Tokyo Eats nails the balance between comfort and craft. The cutlet stays crunchy under the curry, the rice is perfectly cooked, and the pickles add just the right zing. Simple, satisfying, and seriously well-executed. A must-order if you're craving Japanese comfort food with real attention to detail.

Yelp
Currently they are doing a buy 1 free 1 curry katsu with a couple of cute designs! Other than the presentation, the curry was perfectly seasoned and the katsu was not too oily! Service was fast and communicative with a cozy environment. They even have a decorated floral wall for photo ops!

Yelp
Looking for Japanese style curry, & Yelp said come here! Went with family (they went to college around here decades ago) and the area was very busy, numerous bars and restaurants. Place has several tables and high tops. Manned by a young man out front, he took our orders by memory- QR code menu did not seem to allow us to order. The BOGO chicken Katsu curry was a real deal, plus the kitchen made them look super cute - rice was shaped as cat and bear. I enjoyed the crunch of the breading, it kept the chicken still tender.

Yelp
Review is for their BOGO chicken katsu curry with rice!! You can't get a better deal than that these days The spicy curry had a great kick and we were both full off the serving size. Taste wise we've had better but you can't really beat the deal Didn't really taste any curry on the curry dipped fries, but our waiter was nice enough to give us some curry on the side.

Yelp
Damn what a place! My girl and I were searching for a late night eats and this place popped in mind. Yes! They are open late fellas! I think it's until 1 or 2am if not mistaken. The ambiance suggests the name.. you're literally in Tokyo :) Our server is nice and accommodating as well :) My girl and I ordered their curry plates which they specialize in. That Katsu curry of their is just amazing. The breading is just like the original in Japan (my girl went to Japan before so she knows) thin layer of breading but crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside :) And who doesn't like okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes) creamy and pack of flavor in every bite. Of course we dosed ourselves with good old Sapporo to cleansed our pallet. It is a good evening indeed :) Overall, we found one of our late night grubs.. definitely coming back here again :)

Yelp
I was excited to hear that Tokyo Eats is still running the promotion for BOGO chicken katsu curry rice! Approx $18 for the two dishes. I was able to easily place a takeout order via phone, and the worker who picked up my call was very helpful. When I later arrived at the restaurant, he was the only one working front of house (Tuesday 6-7 PM) but responded quickly and efficiently. The inside of the restaurant is clean and bright, with cute Japanese decorations such as cherry blossoms. There is plenty of dine-in seating, and most tables were empty on this weekday afternoon. My food was warm (almost hot!) when I picked it up, and stayed warm by the time I returned home and ate it. Thanks to the packaging, the curry & the katsu/rice were kept separated, and all components were delicious. I was especially happy with the quantity of katsu. I ate one portion the evening of, and the second portion the following day, and it was still pretty good after being microwaved. The main drawback for this restaurant is parking. Even though Tokyo Eats itself is relatively easy to find, the parking spots in front of the restaurant are reserved for the nearby tattoo shop, Ellingson (a manufacturer according to Google Maps), SuspensionRX, and then there's a small lot nearby that only offers validation for the adjacent businesses, including Crepes Bonaparte. I'm not exactly sure where the Tokyo Eats clientele is intended to park, beyond nearby street parking, which makes it difficult to stop by spontaneously. Since I ordered takeout, I briefly parked for 5 min in one of the Ellingson spots and was thankfully not towed lol.
