Tokyu Stay Ginza

Location is very convenient, less than 5min from train station. There is a family mart n Lawson nearby too. Free coffee vending machine at the lobby. Room is slightly small but normal for Tokyo hotels, Not enough space to fully open 2 cabin size luggage. Furnished with microwave oven and washing machine, detergent provided too.

My husband and I stayed at Tokyu Stay Ginza for 6 nights. This hotel is in a great location for shopping and accessibility for Ginza Line and Maranouchi Line trains. The location is quiet! The rooms are standard for Japan however may feel very small for foreigners (US). They have a toiletries bar in the lobby, where you can pick up items as needed. My advice bring only deodorant, they have everything else! The in house shampoo, hair treatment aka conditioner and body wash are all ReFa brand products. They have one of the best hair dryer I've used in a hotel! Its ReFa brand! They dont have daily housekeeping but they will empty your waste bins and give you new towels every day, as long as you place the magnet on the front of your room door before 11am! Hotel issued pajamas were pretty cool! The unique feature of this hotel is the in suite washer/dryer combo. It took my husband two days to figure out (lots of use of Google lens and gemini) how to do a wash load with and without drying. I think this is a must if you travel light and have an extended stay in Tokyo! The front desk service is great, very approachable and helpful. Hara (I believe that is her name) at the reception was very helpful in regards luggage transport. We had daily breakfast at the hotel and it was decent. The service was great at the breakfast room. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel again but I would book a larger room (maybe next time). I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. 💯

I spent 6 nights at the Tokyu Stay Ginza in November '25 and was very impressed with the service from front desk staff upon arrival and departure. Plus, greeted me warmly every time I collected more tea bags and amenities which are in the lobby area. I stayed in a Moderate Double Room with Small Double Bed on a high floor as a solo traveller. The room, which is not big by European or American standards, but reasonably sizeable for Japan, and bigger than many other hotels in Tokyo at this price level. It felt roomy and was a great comfortable base to be. I was at the front of the hotel and had a view over the wide road and found this very pleasant, with plenty of natural day light and space. The room was well soundproofed and had everything I needed. The washing machine has really clear instructions (in English and Japanese) with pictures that enabled me to get clothes super clean and fresh - which is ideal when you spend a lot of time sightseeing and exploring. The location if great for Ginza and high class shopping, two of the main shopping streets, a few minutes walk from the hotel are closed to cars at the weekend, which makes this a wonderful pedestrianised retail haven. You can also do a lot of sightseeing from this hotel, there are more thana dozen entertainment venues and museums within walking distance. Plus, there is a couple of metro station near by, and you can also easily walk to two railway stations. It only took me twenty minutes to walk to Tokyo Station, which can link you with the rest of Japan!

Location is perfect. Close to Ginza station and Lawsons/familymart. Our room had a washing machine and dryer allowing us to pack less in our luggage and shop a bit more. The rooms were spacious enough and clean. Highly recommend if you enjoy Ginza.

This hotel room may be compact but fits a lot in - including microwave, fridge and washing machine! Fabulous location for restaurants, bars, the local fish market, shopping and transport links. Clean and functional. Helpful reception team.|Novel system of magnet signs for your door to indicate if you wanted the room cleaned!|We arrived from the UK an hour before check-in, the room was ready yet we had to pay a small fee to check-in early. |Overall would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Tokyu Stay Ginza. Nicole welcomed us so kindly and even helped us in Spanish, which made us feel incredibly comfortable from the very first moment. She was always attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring about everything we needed during our stay. The hotel’s location is excellent — you can walk everywhere, with amazing shops, restaurants, and cafés just steps away. It made exploring Ginza so easy and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The service staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. They all spoke English, which made the check-in process a breeze. The rooms were clean and came with all the amenities that you will need (eg shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer). Additionally, each room has a Washing Machine & Microwave. Special mention to Takeda-san for assisting us in our check-in.

I’d also like to give an exceptional mention to Ms Nicole, who truly went above and beyond. She generously helped us communicate with the Mizuno Tokyo Flagship Store regarding a golf club fitting, ensuring everything was clearly conveyed and well arranged. Even after we had checked out, she continued to take care of us with genuine attentiveness and kindness — something that left a lasting impression. The service from both Ms Takeda and Ms Nicole reflects the high standards of Tokyu Stay Ginza. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service in Tokyo. I look forward to staying here again.
