We came here for a mother's day celebration with a reservation. We showed up slightly early and the very nice hostess seated us after we told her she didn't have to. Not a moment later, the supposed manager stomps up to us and began rudely inquiring why we were at our table. Before I could explain that we were seated by YOUR employee... She cut me off. Couldn't get a word in! What a way to start a mother's day celebration! She later came back and apologized for being so rude and said they were short staffed. They should treat their paying customers better! Fair warning: the venue itself is nice and there is a ton of shaded space. However, if you're in a small 2-person party - you'll likely get seated in an unshaded death beam in direct sunlight. I would recommend coming with a larger group of people. The wine itself is pretty good. Our server was great and doing her best. I won't be back though - too many other options in the area to put up with being treated so poorly.

Very cute and cozy winery tasting area. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our time and all of the wines we tasted. We took 2 bottles home with us. The vines grow nearby and there is plenty of shade, making for a nice spot to relax with some wine.

Amazing customer service by all the staff. Great quality wine. We became members right away. Edit: we keep coming here and enjoying ourselves. This place is a true jewel. Customer service is off the charts and the quality of the wine speaks for itself. Love it. 5/13/23 update Still amazing. We got engaged here two weeks ago and today we visited again. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible this place is, why go to Napa when you have this amazing, caring, family owned business right in Fairfield? Wine options are outstanding. We’re huge fans of Eclipse. Huge respect, and big fans forever.

Great views of the valley. Delicious wine flights. Chill vibes.

This hidden gem on the back side of Napa Valley is a must-stop. Lisa, the winemaker, is a second-generation winemaker who left to be an engineer for 10 years and then returned to her roots. It's clearly a calling; her wines are balanced and yet unique. Every one was a joy to try! I tend to like reds better, but bought a bottle of her Sauvignon Blanc; it was that good! Crisp and refreshing; perfect on this 76-degree sunny spring day. The service was great (and more impressive based on how busy they were that day!) but the sweet girl who served me brought such delightful intel on the wines, her preferences, and fun family stories. Do stop in for a tasting; you may find yourself staying all afternoon and leaving with new friends as well as few new wines. > Dog friendly > Kid Friendly > Plenty of parking > Parking for big rigs > Quiet > Secluded > Great Wines

I absolutely love it here! The vibe is amazing with a backyard hang out feel. The owner has come out to pour every time I've come and he actually remembered me! This most recent tasting I sat with my glass empty for quite a while making the tasting last almost an hour and a half and I got a bit hangry. I won't give them less than 5 stars because they're amazing but I hope they read this comment and speed it up a little.

Reserved wine tasting for six for a bachelorette\birthday. The staff were very helpful with helping me plan and were very accommodating with our tight schedule. The place was so beautiful and peaceful, the wine was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. Thank you so much!!!

Google
Daphne our server was wonderful! she immediately made us feel comfortable....my great grandson was with our group, she suggested we could place him in the pumpkin sandbox which he loved. We all had a beautiful tasting experience at Tolenas, the table's and red umbrellas, wine was good....additionally flower's and trees made our time there so relaxing and enjoyable. Kathy Mckelvey.

Yelp
We started our wine tasting here in Suisun Valley for my birthday and it was great experience! The atmosphere is very family oriented and relaxed which I really enjoyed. The staff is great! Very friendly and kind. One of the owners came out and provided the history of the winery as well as others to try in the surrounding areas which was awesome. I would definitely recommend trying this winery.

Yelp
A beautiful place to visit and taste wine! They are a service-driven, low-key, no-hassle winery where you can relax with friends and even take your family. Their wines are AMAZING - you'll likely leave with a few bottles!!! Lisa, Cliff, and Tolenas Winery do not disappoint!

Yelp
First off Amanda served us and she was fairly new but she was really sweet and helpful. I'm sorry I don't think this is a four or five star winery. We live near Paso Robles and most of those wineries surpass this one. We sat outside and it was very pleasant and we were not rushed. $20 for tasting and I bought one bottle

Yelp
Another great event at Tolenas!! Galentines Day with Mom. Made some beautiful Charcuterie bouquet and of course had great wine. Just a wonderful evening to celebrate women and our unique friendships and relationships. Thank you @Tolenas for such a lovely evening !! And @Graze Solano
google avatar

Danielle H.

Yelp
The staff here are the coolest, sweetest people you'll ever meet. Graze Solano provides their delicious charcuterie cones. It's such a cute Suisun valley winery with a beautiful view of the vineyards and the they always have a bunch of gorgeous flower arrangements at each tasting table/barrel and blooming flowers surrounding the house. I absolutely love all of their wines, especially their rosé. They always have the best rosé. I am not a red person and usually don't enjoy the part of the tasting when I get to the reds, but Tolenas has such amazing full bodied reds that are delicious. If you want to feel comfortable and at home while tasting, while still getting the fancy winery vibes, this is your spot.

Yelp
We recently joined Tolenas as we moved to Benicia and wanted to spend more time in the Suisun Valley. We love that Tolenas is dog-friendly, that we can bring our own food, that the vibe is chill instead of pretentious and, oh yeah, the wine is great also :) Eden is wonderful and we can't wait to come for another tasting soon.

Yelp
What a perfect place to start a day of wine tasting in the Suisun Valley. We had a reso right at opening. Drove up to this adorable white house surrounded by a picket fence. Various tables were set about the front yard covered with umbrellas. Very charming. We were greeted by Mike, who was also the one who lead us through our wine tasting. He was wonderful - very informative and super personable. We learned a lot of great history about the surrounding area and Tolenas itself. We were so curious that Mike actually introduced us to one the owners, Cliff, who spent a lot of time with us, thoroughly giving us the rundown of how Tolenas began and the exciting future the company has in front of it. Some standouts during our tasting were 2022 Eclipse (a white Pinot noir), 2022 Rosé, and the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc. We also went to Total Wine & More to track down a couple bottles of their famed "El Camino Red Blend" as they had just recently started selling their wine in-store across CA. Do yourself a favor and visit this sweet, family-run winery before they skyrocket in popularity!

Yelp
This little place is nice. As you are driving down the road, you will see a barn that's really big and a house next to it. If you see those two together that is where you park. As you start walking towards the back, you will see the set up of chairs and shade with a few large trees. come to find out the grapes that are grown to your left, you're right, I'm behind you in the backyard are the exact items that you are drinking when you taste of wine. Grapes are grown and made right on the process. I love places like that. We came in search of sweet wine, and we found that they have one and it is very very tasty.

Yelp
What a wonderful gem of a winery. I highly recommend you spend your time here. We had a wonderful shady spot under a beautiful walnut tree & we were greeted warmly, and tasting service was exemplary. Knowledgeable, and made me feel very welcome. The wines were 5/5, meaning I liked all five of the wines!!! A first for me usually I liked more in the range out of 3/5. These were all fantastic. Distinct in flavor abd and a great menu for the warm day. The charcuterie vibes were absolutely delicious also rate 5/5. High quality and a steal for the price. Would definitely go again!!

Yelp
Very cute winery. Tasting is done around the house with a lot of shaded tables. It's a very enjoyable setting and the staff are very friendly. Needed to make a reservation but it also didn't seem that busy.

Yelp
Gorgeous place great wine! We had a wonderful time! Lovely day to be outside sipping some amazing whites! Friendly staff! They need an olive oil tasting! It was wonderful!

Yelp
This was our first visit to the winery. We made a tasting reservation online for that day and it was pretty easy. There isn't much signage leading up to the winery, so you need to have instructions leading up to the location. The winery is small but very picturesque. The sitting area in the back is very cute and cozy. Plenty of seating and shade, with the vines growing all around you. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the winery itself. I learned a lot about the wines in the area. We didn't feel rushed and I enjoyed all of the wines we tasted, both the white and red varietals. We took two bottles home with us. I look forward to returning and exploring more wineries in the area!

Yelp
A quaint, hidden gem that's located about 10 minutes from my hometown. The place is so lovely and serene! The location is a little off of Rockville Rd by 80. My boyfriend made reservations online for the afternoon. The tasting flight is $20, and the tasting flight + charcuterie cone is $30. It was my first time trying the local wineries around. The workers here are very friendly and informative about each tasting. Lisa, the owner also welcomed us and told us about the story of her winery and how it came to be. It was a nice sunny day, we chose a seat outside near the vineyards overlooking the hills. My favorites were the Eclipse White Pinot Noir and the dessert wine. We ended up buying 2 bottles of the desset wine to take back home. I will most likely be back here with friends since the location is very convienent :)

Yelp
Just happened to be in town for a soccer game and came across this hidden gem. We had our 2 tweens with us, so we needed to find a family-friendly winery and a place we could just swing by with no reservations. We found a winner! The most important thing for me when visiting a business is how they treat you. Right away, we were welcomed with a smile and offered our girls water and blankets since it was a tad chilly. The staff was down to Earth, which made us feel at ease. They shared great info about the property and their wines, but they spoke to us like we were friends. The experience never felt pretentious, and their tasting fee was reasonable; $20 for a generous flight. They let us walk around, and we took lots of pictures. Our daughters loved how green and pretty everything looked...and they pointed out a pink porta potty with a pink sink... how cute!?!? So, while our girls explored, the hubby & I got to enjoy the wines. I personally loved their Rose wine, and their port was very different but tasty. We would love to go back with some friends as we love to support these types of wineries. Definitely check them out if you happened to be in this area!

Yelp
Great service when we booked our wine tasting then we got there the tasting is in a plastic tent outside. The cheese board isn't on a board but wrapped in plastic like a sugar cone. It was windy and cold in the tent. The lady serving us was kind and pleasant but took forever between tastings. Disappointed too many wineries that are amazing near by they can do better. The price is rather high for a bottle not worth the experience.

Yelp
We have had this wine in a favorite local restaurant but stumbled on the winery quite by chance this afternoon. It is a second generation Suisun Valley family that owns and operates the vineyard and winery. Sitting in their garden drinking wine gives the feel of what Napa must have felt like in in the 1970s. It is unpretentious and the husband/wife hosts are as nice and as knowledgeable as can be. We had several wines as we soaked up a glorious Suisun afternoon and brought a few bottles home. If you want to taste the extraordinary flavor of Suisun in a laid back setting (with really nice people!), Tolenas is for you!
google avatar

Daniel G.

Yelp
It's a beautiful, cozy venue with a delicious selection of wines. The person who served us was welcoming and answered all our questions. We left with a smile and sure plan to return. We've already made it through the 5 bottles of wine we purchased a couple months ago. would recommend!! Love!

Stella K.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem in Suisun Valley! Besides the attentive staff, the wines are a special treat! Price point doesn't match the quality... these wines are both affordable and delicious. Bring your dog, your friends and a picnic lunch and enjoy the afternoon at Tolenas.
google avatar

Yelp
One splendid experience from the first to the last moments there! No pretense, just an all downhome experience. Not only are are some of their wines excellent, getting a chance to talk to the winemaker, Lisa, for perhaps 30 minutes during a tour of the winery was a highlight. We were there to pick up a wine order friends had purchased. That's it. No fancy lunch. Just a tasting of most of the Tolenas wines, that tour, that chat, and sittin' in the shade of a 150 year old California pepper tree, native to the area from the Peruvian Andes to southern Brazil.

Yelp
We love to visit Tolenas Winery for a nice paced tasting. The Eclipse Pinot Noir is delicious and unusual. Cliff, one of the owners, always greets us with a smile and warm welcome (in photo). Suzanne who also poured for us was really knowledgeable and had great insight into the ins and outs of the winery and the wine. We love coming through here when going between the Bay Area and Sac. Perfect stop off.

Yelp
Such a lovely and quaint setting! We had a wonderful time. Our wine server was so nice and personable. Definitely will come back!

Yelp
Delicious wines in a peaceful (albeit windy) backyard tasting area. If it weren't for the portapotty I'd give it 5 stars.

Yelp
Found this winery through Yelp search. It's a hidden gem . Lisa greeted us as we walked up and enthusiastically gave us some history of the family, winery and house. She was very pleasant. We really enjoyed our time with Jaylen our wine educator. Her youthful and bubbly personality was refreshing. The relevant stories and experiences she shared with us were our pleasure to hear. The wines poured for our tasting were delicious and the ambiance of the tasting area was peaceful. My husband and I wished we had arrived earlier than we did.( it was close to closing time) because we would have loved to buy a glass of wine and hang out for a while longer. We will definitely return and bring friends!

Katherine J.

Yelp
Really great people, super cute environment, an amazing wine. Tolenas winery is a must stop location! I wish they had inside seating as well for the colder days, but they're outside seating is wonderful in warmer weather.

Darris A.

Yelp
So happy we found this gem in Fairfield Lisa and Cliff welcomed us to their property and we quickly felt like friends. It's been a long time since we've gone for a tasting and enjoyed every wine we tasted...we loved everyone wine we tasted! Our biggest dilemma was figuring out how many of each to take home! Can't wait to go back for our wine club pickup.

Hailey M.

Yelp
This place is all kinds of amazing! Don't let this little place go under your nose, completely run and operated by a sweet and personable family who will make you feel at home over some amazing wine varieties. Thank you so much for making our experience perfect we will be back with friends!

Diane O.

Yelp
Great wine, friendly servers, you can never go wrong coming here! Always a good time!

Lord Jacob I.

Yelp
Amazing wines. Cliff, Lisa, and Laura were amazing and made it memorable. Affordable high quality. Highly recommend

Louella M.

Yelp
We absolutely LOVE Tolenas Winery! It is conveniently located right off the 80 in Fairfield. All the wines are fabulous, but our favorite is the Eclipse (a white Pinot noir). Lisa & Cliff are the down to earth owners who make you feel like part of the family. We really enjoy wine club weekends and the farm to table wine pairing dinners. They even host special events and did an amazing job with my husband's Air Force retirement ceremony and after party. Go visit on the weekend and enjoy a nice afternoon wine tasting!
google avatar

Lindsey H.

Yelp
Not only is their wine the best in the valley, their location is perfect for any occasion. We rented the space for a baby shower and it was absolutely perfect. The staff is incredible and coordinated so well with us. Highly recommend for a date, girls night, wine club or event.

Christina J.

Yelp
Great wine and great service. We love coming out to this hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful and it's just the perfect place to enjoy delicious wine!

Daniel U.

Yelp
We found this semi-hidden gem in our own backyard. The owners, Cliff and Lisa and their whole staff has always made us feel like a part of their extended family. We have discovered their wines and absolutely love all of their offerings. No need to travel to the often pretentious Napa Valley for great wine. Definitely a must visit site if you are into great tasting wine.
google avatar

Ron G.

Yelp
Tolenas is our goto local winery. Every visit is a delight with a warm welcome and great wines. Lisa and Cliff make liking their wines easy through good taste and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Since my friends are members here, they were kind enough to invite me. The tasting area is so cute and nice. They also let us bring our own food at the time. I had such a good experience as the people working at the winery were so nice and everyone was so chill. The wine was very good and the prices were also very reasonable. I highly recommend their Zinfandel and Pinot noir. The employees were truly the nicest people.

William W.

Yelp

John M.

Yelp
Amazing people. Great atmosphere. Relaxed wine tasting Highly recommend Pet friendly as well

Yelp
Fantastic family-owned winery in the Suisun Valley, surprisingly close to I-80. The grounds consist of a really nice yard and garden, a farmhouse, and wine production barn. All tastings are outdoors in the garden or on the house patio. Very charming set up run by an equally charming family. Their Eclipse White Pinot Noir is really nice and my favorite in their collection of wines. Well-behaved kids and dogs allowed. They offer charcuterie cones as well to go with your tasting. Enjoy.

Julie F.

Yelp
We loved this winery! Lisa was absolutely wonderful, and the wine was delicious! I am now a member and am looking forward to my next visit!

Alejandra F.

Yelp
Came with my family had a great time. Their wine is good and loved the Eclipse White Pinot Noir and the Rose. The best wine best customer service. Family owned vineyard. Highly recommend.

Wendy L.

Yelp
Wow, what a gem! We had the pleasure of spending time at Tolenas Winery over the weekend. This tasting "room" opened last year and is really unique. Each party has their own table which is spaced throughout the lovely property. The owners, Lisa and Cliff, are so friendly and make everyone feel special. My husband, Jason, and I especially enjoyed tasting their White Pinot Noir, a really unique and delicious wine. We came home with four bottles which we will definitely enjoy drinking soon.

Jasmin S.

Yelp
Had such and amazing time here with family!! First of all, Lisa the owner, worked with me and took us in the next day and was very flexible with the times. It was such an amazing experience and both her husband and herself were very professional. Can't wait to go back!! I highly recommend it!! You will have so much fun as we did!! Thank you Lisa!!

Juana T.

Yelp
My first ever wine tasting and all the others to come have huge shoes to fill! My family came to visit from LA and i wanted to take them wine tasting to a close local place and I am so happy we came here. Lisa was so nice and gave us the best experience ever. Will definitely come back. Their wine is delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place!
