Wow! Had a STELLAR experience at Tolon from the moment we stepped inside. Fantastic service, incredible food and a completely solid vibe across the board. No idea if the crispy pork belly with cornbread waffle is a menu staple, but we'd travel across the country to have it again. That said? Every. Single. Dish. Was phenomenal. Our only regret was not making room for dessert.

Awesome food. Awesome service. Great drinks. Craft and a Hell if a selection. Knowledge staff. Chef at this restaurant is out of this world. 🌎 The pork chop is hands down the best I’ve ever had. It’s a bone in beast.

We wandered in here without having done any research and nothing… we had meant to eat across the street and they were unexpectedly closed. I am very glad we could afford their menu given that it’s definitely on the higher end. Ha But this is a great place to celebrate something. Excellent farm to table food. The ambiance is VERY relaxed… it’s great. They don’t seem to be offended if you walk in with casual clothes… but you may want consider not wearing a hoodie. (Like I was wearing… again… we didn’t originally plan on going here. 😂) Christian served us and he was very pleasant and easy going. No issues at all. We both got the ribeye… we were super hungry. While I absolutely couldn’t finish it, I want to note that the restaurant should probably sharpen their knives. The part of the ribeye that I took home cut like butter with my knives, while I struggled a bit at the restaurant. A very pleasant experience and we will return.

You fooled me once. Never again!!!! The pics say it all. What I ordered for a pickup for $49.00 vs. what I actually got for $70.20 Not to mention, the steak had so much pepper on it that I couldn't even taste the steak. I couldn't eat it. Way too may "finger potatoes". I am embarrassed that I actually paid for such a horrible meal.

My wife and I went with friends and our experience was amazing. From the waitress and her excellent service to the exquisite food. We will be returning

Google
Tolon isn't cheap for Fort Wayne, but it's one of the best meals I've had. We've been for brunch, dinner, and savor Fort Wayne. It's always a great meal. I got the chicken and waffles for brunch and it was unbelievable. They don't skimp on portion sizes like most high quality restaurants

Google
Food all cooked great. Perfect flavors. Great colors and texture in the food. It was savor Fort Wayne and I always wanted to try this place. So of course I order outside of the savor menu too. All I can critique on is the clam pasta, the flavor would have be been more exciting if I didn’t have to dip it in the sauce constantly. The sauce needs to be thicker like their kale apple salad which was delicious. Their duck fat fried fries… wow they’re great, but I feel their portions is too big as I also saw other guests not finishing their order. Could help them cut cost. I wish our waitress told us the ribeye was out before she made us wait 10mins (plus 2hrs waiting for a table to open) deciding unlike the waiter next to us whom told his guest immediately it was out, but people make mistakes. Regardless I will go here again, but only for special occasions

Atmosphere was so fun and unique. Service was impeccable! Steak and fries were best I've ever had anywhere! Drinks and dessert were amazing. My new favorite place downtown!!!

Yelp
Been here many times, and it's probably the best restaurant Fort Wayne has to offer. The food is usually good. Service was very good this time. Sometimes it ranges from okay to great. Ambiance is typical, nothing terribly unique. Buttermilk Drop Biscuits - $10 - Best biscuits I've ever had. The outside was crispy and the inside perfectly fluffy. They are very big biscuits. The blueberry jam was delicious and the butter was nicely whipped. This is a must have. 5/5 stars. Cheeseburger - $23 - Also best burger you'll ever have. The smash patties have a lot of maillard reaction, and the homemade boursin cheese is to die for. We substituted the chips for duck fat fries, but for me, this was disappointing. The fries weren't crispy. They were plentiful, just not the right texture. I remember getting the fries before and it was cooked better. Burger is a 5/5 stars must try, the fries were like a 2/5 at best. Campechano Tacos - $18 - The flavor of the tacos is spot on, and it's a little oily, which I like. The problem is that there needs to be a salsa. The menu states "salsa matcha", which googling that tells me it's like a chili oil but mexican style. It's not enough to keep the tacos from eating a bit dry. The only relief was from some pineapple chunks. It needs a normal salsa to stop it from eating so dry. 4/5 stars. Strawberry Pretzel Cheesecake - $14 - Fantastic cheesecake. The cheesecake had good flavor and consistency. The strawberries were good. The pretzel crust was interesting, but I liked it. $14 is a bit steep. Maybe $10 and I'd be ok with the price, but all the desserts on the menu are a bit expensive here. But whatever, you'll be happy with the dessert. 5/5 stars. House Old Fashion - $13 - Husband said he loved it. They "leveled up" from last time. He thinks they have one of the best old fashion drinks. 5/5 stars.

Yelp
Enjoyed visit to Tolon. Rabbit pot pie was unique and tasty. Tomato appetizer nice and fresh. Fries decent, could be crispier. Atmosphere great. Parking not the best but okay. Service fine.

Yelp
Second time we have been here during our trips to Fort Wayne. We met friends that are locals and they have eaten here several times. For apps we had the Duck Fat Frites (would have liked them to be more crispy) and the Garlic Shrimp, which was delicious. Three in our party got the Salmon, and I had the Jerked Pork Chop. All our entrees were fantastic. I couldn't finish mine, the chop was huge. Our server, Jackie, was awesome. She was very knowledgeable of the drink list and menu. She did not steer us wrong, when we asked for recommendations. I had started with the Tolon Sour and ended with the Smoked Sazerac. We were all too full to even try any desserts. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Yelp
To celebrate my dad's birthday, we chose Tolon as the birthday dinner spot! We've never been, so we were all excited to try. Our server was really friendly and helped us answer any questions we had about the menu. We ended up going with the duck fat frites to share, and I ordered the pork chop for my entree. The fries were so addicting to eat. It had a good crisp outside and soft inside. Despite being fried in duck fat, the fries were light and airy, and I didn't feel heavy eating them. The aioli paired perfectly with the fries. My pork chop dish came with a huge pork chop, a side salad, and a bed of rice. Each component was flavorful, but I felt that the individual flavors were a bit overpowering. For instance, the dirty rice was quite salty, and the sauce under the pork chop was quite sweet. The pork chop felt on the blander side compared to the stronger sides' flavors. Overall, we had a good experience here and happy to celebrate my dad's birthday at Tolon!

Yelp
We loved this place & would have stayed longer to drink if we didn't have tickets to a show. Everything was great. We had to order two deviled egg appetizers because it was so good. Best pork I've had in a long time!
google avatar

Yelp
What an amazing experience! The food was beyond flavorful, the atmosphere chill and the server, Christian, was impeccable. Got the Jerk Pork chop, perfectly done. The deviled eggs are not your grandmothers, because she don't know how to make them this good. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
The best biscuit of my life came from...brunch in Fort Wayne? I know, I was stunned in more ways than one. Weeks later, I'm still wondering how Tolon got that biscuit so crispy on all sides. That's not the only item still lingering in my mind. Tolon's breakfast pot pie was pretty darn special too. I'm grateful that there was a vegetarian variation and that the server brought me out a plate to change the presentation. Had I kept it in its original vessel, the chances of pieces of veg spilling all over the table would have been high. It was a wonderful meal from start to finish!

Yelp
One of the best meals of my life!!!! Chef Matt Nolot is an absolute ROCKSTAR! The Vietnamese Wings are stellar ! As is EVERYTHING else on the menu! The whole staff just rocks like a well oiled machine! Do not miss Nathan's Old Fashioned! 10/10

Yelp
Loved this restaurant. Great location with a convenient parking lot next door. Bread & cheese dip appetizer was fantastic. The bread was an ideal consistency and they offered us extra portions after eating it all to finish the cheese at no charge. I had a pork chop that was the best I've ever eaten. The mixture of pineapple and hot honey flavors topped with salty crispy plantain on a bed of green rice was a top 5 dish I've ever eaten. My wife had their salmon topped with shrimp and it was also perfection. Service was top notch with a friendly waitress who balanced attention with privacy perfectly. Atmosphere was stylish and modern but not pretentious. We got there early on a Thursday evening and it was not busy yet so plenty of room. The bar looked nice but we sat at a table. 10 out of 10 would recommend and will be visiting again.

Yelp
The food was fantastic. The price was a little high compared to my normal budget, but I would absolutely go back. I don't think that I can afford to be a frequent flyer though.

Yelp
AWESOME service and niced atmosphere. Nice murals, nice real wood tables, and even nice tin serving cups for water! The farm to fresh OJ was decent, but the pot pie to be honest was underwhelming as it's not really a pot pie all baked together, just a biscuit on top of a soupy concoction of what's in a typical pot pie, IN A CUP. It was alright but not my cup of pot pie! Okay, and not anything bad tho just not a great pot pie to me. Tho I get out, A LOT more than an average person, so I've had great and not so great pot pies. The best being Pie Boss in Aurora Illinois, South African Johannesburg style that is oh so grand.

Yelp
We came in early on a Sunday, so must've beat the crowd. We had reservations anyway, though - which I would recommend as it started getting busy while we were there. The service was excellent and attentive. We were well taken care of. The space was open and trendy with plenty of room in between tables. There is outdoor seating available but it was a little chilly and I appreciated an indoor seat for breakfast. I ordered the tacos with a creamsicle drink and my partner had the pot pie with the Bloody Mary. I had a bite of his pot pie and it was great, but the tacos were some of the best I ever had. The flavor was incredible as is, but the house made hot sauce made it epic! There was so much filling inside I had to eat about half out with my fork before eating it like a taco. That said, I also was only able to eat two of three before I was so stuffed. The drink was great as well - not too sweet, but sweet enough to take care of my sweet tooth. Will definitely be back again if in the area.

Yelp
I was attracted to this restaurant based on the high reviews. Then, at another local restaurant in town, our server recommended this place for their food and cocktails. We went here our 3rd night in town, and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The Tolon Whiskey sour was perfectly prepared and went down so smoothly, I had two (most unusual for me). My wife enjoyed her rye whiskey cocktail, the Lady & Chef. Lyndsey, our server was engaging, personable and professional in her taking care of us. And, the food was excellent. There were many choices on the diverse menu from which to make our final selection. We shared a grilled shrimp dish for a starter which was a great start to the dining portion of our evening ($22). My wife enjoyed her grilled chicken over roasted cabbage ($34), and my bucatini pasta with bison meat ($38) was tremendously enjoyed. All exquisitely presented. We were too well sated to have dessert, yet left most contented. A great choice and would eagerly return.

Yelp
This place is GREAT! Comfortable yet cozy, and the shrimp I added to my pasta were cooked to perfection. I went here for dinner with my family and in-laws. The food was amazing. Our server, Rachael was a delight, she was so helpful with us and in working with my kids to make sure they had what they needed. If I lived in Fort Wayne, I would be raving about this to all my friends, but since I don't, I'm leaving this review. Great job Tolon team!

Yelp
The best food in town! We had the famous deviled eggs and pork belly appetizers- I would not eat them again until they were cooked the same way. I had pork chop and my husband ordered the steak frites. Both dishes were uniquely delicious. The service was quick enough for a place like Tolon. We also had a great time trying the cocktails. This was our first time and we were celebrating our boss's wedding. We had the chocolate cake that was light and yum- perfect ending to the night. The ambiance was friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised that Ft. Wayne has this gem in the downtown area! We can't wait to bring friends and family over to show off.

Yelp
Such a fantastic dining experience! My boyfriend and I came in on a weekend at opening time, and we were so glad we chose to try out Tolon. I usually scour Yelp whenever I'm in a new place to try out new food, and Tolon was high up on the list already. The duck fat frites caught my eye immediately (as someone whose favorite food literally is fries...), so after seeing a picture of that I was out the door with my boyfriend like, "Okay. We're going." - and oh man. I was so right. The interior was comfortable and chic, with local artist work featured on the walls. They had a good selection of branded merch (I'm a sucker for a logo t-shirt) too! We were seated at a nice booth seat and had such an attentive and friendly waitress. For our order, we got the frites, cheeseburger (subbing the chips for brussel sprouts), and noodle bowl. Now I'm not sure the menu will be the same in the future, but oh my gosh. I wish I could go back for the burger and fries every week! It was perfectly juicy, with a toasted bun and the perfect ratio of ingredients. The fries were crisp and paired so well with the basil aioli provided. And my boyfriend's noodle bowl was savory and not overpowering at all despite the abundance of toppings. Everything was a 10/10 for me, beating out quite a few famous restaurants I've been to on the Vegas Strip. I'd go again, and again, and again (wallet willing).

Yelp
We went here for brunch after a wedding. We had recently high expectations after everyone told us this was the best restaurant in Fort Wayne. I'll be honest we were a bit let down. We got the fuck fat fries, which were good, but not that crispy & just tasted like normal fries. The Chilaquiles were extremely greasy, but decent enough. My mom got the Dutch baby & it simply wasn't a Dutch baby (more a thick Swedish pancake). The biscuits were great & the best part of the meal. The service was nice & they were friendly. Atmosphere was a typical new American type place with a bar & some patio seating. I'd give it a try, but maybe skip brunch. It seems like more of a dinner place.

Yelp
This place was great! It is farm to table, has big portions, and has very intriguing art. It is in a very nice area downtown. The parking lot was very full when we got there, but we were able to snag the last spot. There was outdoor seating that looked nice, but we opted for the window room which felt like we were outside, but without the wind! The menu looked amazing- I wanted to try so many different things! We did get the fries and Brussels sprouts for the table. The Brussels sprouts were AMAZING! They had such good flavor and were cooked to perfection. The fries were a little salty, but the sauce they came with was very good. In addition to that I got the Bison Bolognese which was HUGE. There was absolutely no way I could eat that much food in one sitting, but it was very good! The way the ingredients were listed on the menu I was expecting something a little more deconstructed than just a huge bowl of pasta, but it was good so I cannot complain. The server was very nice, and the food came out fairly quickly. She had good recommendations and checked on us quickly enough.

Yelp
It's a shame you can only give 5 stars... This was one of the best meals of my life. Just to put it in perspective I eat out way too often and consider myself a foodie. Going out for great food, wine, and bourbon is literally my favorite past time. We started off with a cocktail. I had a bourbon sour/egg white sort of thing, and my friend had some delicious lemon cello concoction. For starters we had the "Gods butter" with was a bone split in 2 to unveil the marrow goodness to spread on duck fat toast points.... Ummmmm so amazing then Emily, our server, offered us a bourbon shot to pour down the inside of the bone to flush the remaining marrow and flavor into our mouths. Next, we had the shrimp scampi; large shrimp cooked perfectly, a little lemony and a little spicy in a good way. Maybe a little spicy for some but we loved it...served with more duck fat toast points. We debated getting just one entree to split after that because we both were already pretty content and then we both decided that if we ordered 2 entree's we would get to taste more. I don't usually order chicken dishes at restaurants, but this chicken dish with mushroom truffle, rainbow, chard and coffee dusted carrots was to die for. I'm not a salmon fan and this was by far the best salmon I've ever had. It stands out for its perfect crust on one side and the salmon literally melting away with each bite. What kind of sorcery is this?! The red wine selection was perfect! We finished with a scoop of bourbon brown sugar ice cream. Ohhhhh! And Emily was amazing! Restaurant people are my people and she was such a fun part of our experience when she'd come by but gave us our time too. She was proud of the restaurant and the chef and working there. She navigated our experience perfectly. I will mention this place wasn't inexpensive but we didn't question the price at all because everything we had was on another level. I would never have though of finding this gem in Ft. Wayne Indiana and whenever I'm in the area I will definitely be making a reservation. Lastly, reservations were simple on "Resy" They were packed but still managed to get us in.

Yelp
Tolon at The Landing in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is an absolute no-brainer! It's farm - table food is as fresh as it gets, the interior decor is beyond hip, the outdoor patio is dog- friendly, and the location- at the heart of Fort Wayne's "Landing" - is the place to be! The Sunday Brunch has something for all palettes! Great service too! Check out Tolon when you're in Fort Wayne- lunch, brunch, or dinner- you won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
Service was good and we were glad to have had a reservation early. Kale salad was the best of everything we had! Deviled eggs were also good as was the pork chops. Cassoulet was very rich and not much in the way of beans! The duck breast was tasty but I wasn't a fan of the sausage. More beans and no sausage, please! Ribeye was pricey but fabulous. We will be back...

Yelp
I stopped in for dinner on a business trip... food and service were both outstanding! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great meal and great service! My wife and I had dinner here on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy, but everything was still great! We shared the fondue to start and we both really liked it. The flavor was great and it had just a little bit of heat. The only criticism is it could be a little bit thicker. We each had the steak frites for our entree. This is one of the best steaks you will ever have. Everything about this dish was top notch! The ribeyes were cooked perfectly, the sauce was very rich, the butter added a great flavor, and once you start eating the fries you can't stop. To end the meal we shared the caramel apple bread pudding. It had very well balanced flavors and was the perfect ending to a great meal. Last, our server was great! Start to finish she did a great job - very friendly and took good care of us. Tolon is one of the better restaurants in town and I always enjoy dining here.
google avatar

Shelby A.

Yelp
Food was great. I would say they are a bit on the pricey side for what you get, but the food was good. I had the chillquiles (could have used a bit more onion) and my fiancé had the spicy chicken and waffles. Not really that spicy so don't let that scare you away from ordering it. The reason for 3 stars and not 4 is because the hostess was pretty rude to us. I'm guessing she just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but I almost suggested going somewhere else. Then service once seated seemed pretty slow.
google avatar

Peyton S.

Yelp
Fantastic food, atmosphere, & service! On the pricier side, but definitely worth it for the quality. Their menu changes based on what's in season and is always delicious with lots of options. Love this place!

Yelp
Farm to fork experience with fresh food you can taste. Fun cocktails with friendly service. Worth going on a date night. Kind of pricey for smaller portions, but everything is presented nicely and with much thought.

Yelp
Hey so I just want to say: I admire what y'all are trying to do - local ingredients, elevated, distinctive space. But there's a lot of issues here: our meal was hideously overpriced, for one. $250 for two people, and we ordered maybe 3 cocktails between us. I ordered the lamb ragu, which was underspiced, watery, and served with zero care. A big wet slop of pasta. The scallops my wife got were very nicely prepared, but she had to add asparagus in order to make the dish complete from a flavor standpoint. The dish would've been underflavored without the asparagus. You shouldn't as the customer have to add something to a dish to complete it. And that dovetails with the other more irritating issue: the upselling was absolutely hideous, and nonsensical. I was asked whether I wanted to add blackened shrimp to my lamb pasta. Seriously? Then she asked if my wife wanted blackened shrimp *on her scallops.* Are you insane? I understand trying to push certain items but they need to make sense, and you can't be that aggressive about it. I felt like I was at a used car dealership. The dessert was inedible: sickly sweet strawberry sorbet. I left almost all of it on the plate and our server said nothing. This was a meal we were so excited about, and we left the place irritated and feeling like we had been fleeced. I want nothing more than a Michelin starred restaurant in NE Indiana. But this just isn't there yet.

Maezing G.

Yelp
My brother found this spot as we were passing through on our way back to Chicago. We made reservations because it was a Sunday morning. Tolon has a fun and lively atmosphere with it's decor and seating arrangements. It was busy and the service was fast. I ordered the breakfast pot pie which was light and just enough food. The sausage was delicious and paired well with the other ingredients. If I was coming back to town I would order this again.

Yelp
I love this place I should type this a thousand times..seriously!, farm to table deliciousness!!!

Yelp
We had the best time. My husband and I will be moving to Fort Wayne and were there touring the city and getting a feel for it. We stopped in Saturday night and did dinner start to finish. My husband ordered an old fashioned and I had a glass of Prosecco. We had the duck fat frites, and when I say I would and could bathe in basil aoli I mean it. They were incredible. We then ordered the scallops and lamb pasta and everything was cooked impeccably. It was absolutely delicious. We split the strawberry pretzel cheesecake for dessert and it was the perfect balance of salty sweet and creamy. We love that the menu changes seasonally and we can't wait to go back in the fall!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! I mean shut the front door WOW! Such an amazing place. Food is farm to table fresh. Well thought out dishes. Service was super friendly, warm and cozy atmosphere. Drinks were spot on, sooo good. Details: Server: Jackie Drinks-stone fruit vodka with seltzer. Vodka, seltzer and fresh peach purée App: shared the watermelon/cucumber salad. Refreshing and light Entrees: Organic chicken. Melted in the mouth goodness. Double cheeseburger smash patty and fresh cut frites. Piled high! Dessert: peach cheesecake with pretzel crust. Now we must walk...walk...walk it off. Definitely a spot to try, thanks to others for posting so we were able to find.

Yelp
The food, atmosphere, and service was great! We were in town for a high school event and found this place on Yelp. Very happy with our choice!!!

Yelp
What is not too love except for the parking to get there. Lol Good luck trying to get past the Apps, it's all delightful so just go with it, you can go wrong. Even the drinks and servers are great. I suggest making reservations regardless of day.

Yelp
Our dinner at Tolon was incredible. The staff was personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. But the food was unreal. The duck fat frites were our favorite, but even what I thought would be a basic chicken dish ended up being beyond delicious. I would highly recommend!
google avatar

Danielle V.

Yelp
We have only been to Tolon for the Sunday brunch. We tend to default to the Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffles, sharing that and the burger. The service is always great and they make a decent old fashioned. Update: we've ventured to other menu items. Fried Rice: unless you're into mushroom, I'd skip it. The flavor was great but there were too many mushrooms, imo. Steak & Eggs: I wasn't a huge fan. Noting bad, but nothing amazing (except for the fries.) However, two of my friends got this and absolutely loved it. Steak tacos - Bomb! I've gotten them twice and would get them again and again!

Yelp
Tolon is a culinary delight! Amazing food, drinks, and staff! Nothing compares in Fort Wayne!

Yelp
Went here after a work conference and my work rented out the place for us to have dinner. Open bar tab, the drinks I had were strong but good! My food was also very delectable. I had a great time here! I want to come back and try more of the menu.

Yelp
I was a bit disappointed to be honest. I was excited to try the ribeye once I saw my two favorite words- foie gras and bone marrow. The first steak was wayyyy over cooked to my liking. It came out medium- medium well and I had asked for it medium rare. Second time, it came out rare which I could do as I didn't want to send it back- I feel bad... half way through it was medium- medium well. Left side was rare- right side was medium/medium well. I let my server know just to inform her something is off. She mentioned it's a larger cut so it happens.... However... knowing a thing or two in the kitchen.. when there's inconsistency in the temperature- especially that drastic - the stovetop temperature is uneven. Maybe didn't realize one side was off? Overall... I was sad with my dinner but 3 stars for the great drinks and the friendly server.

Yelp
I really wanted to like Tolon. The concept and menu sounded delicious, but in the end poor execution left me wanting. We went for brunch and left quite disappointed. We each ordered a Bloody Mary to drink and some of the biscuits everyone seemed to be raving about. For entrées I had the shrimp and grits and my wife the chicken & waffles. I love all manner of Bloody Mary, but made it about halfway through this one before I had to throw in the towel. Each sip was just a mouthful of horseradish finished with watered down tomato juice. I didn't get any other flavors, including the spirit. I typically love a horseradish heavy Bloody Mary and I have sampled tons of house Bloody mixes that were amazing. This just missed the mark entirely. With no other flavor to offset the horseradish and the house mix being nothing more than flavorless tomatoes run through a juicer it was ultimately undrinkable. The biscuits were honestly the only part of the visit that demonstrated any culinary aptitude whatsoever. Dense, flavorful, appropriately seasoned and baked to perfection. I can see why these are the big take away for so many patrons. However, even on this plate the house made berry bourbon jam was a disappointment. Not a jam at all, just a runny syrup with a few macerated berries. My shrimp and grits were as inedible as my Bloody was undrinkable. Blackened shrimp fell victim to what happens to many blackened dishes prepared by anything other than a chef with a lot of experience in the style. Just a mouthful of black pepper and old bay. Barely even picked up any shrimp flavor on the back end. Offset this with grits and andouille so salty that I'm pretty sure they altered my serum osmolality. I ate maybe 5 bites before calling it. Wife's chicken was similarly problematic. While the texture of the breading was close to that of a good Nashville hot chicken, the flavor was nothing but a mouthful of black pepper. At this point I'm seeing a trend in this kitchen . I have often been accused of liking food too spicy, and I enjoy all manner of strong flavors. So for me to have these complaints... It wasn't that anything was too spicy or strong, the flavors were just wrong. Bottom line: we ultimately spent a lot of money on food that just wasn't prepared well and didn't taste good. Our server, after over emphasizing the farm to table shtick to the point of tedium, failed to recognize that there was a bunch of picked over food on the table which clearly had not been enjoyed. When a table asks for the check and they have barely touched their meals you might want to investigate beyond the fact that they do not want boxes for any of it. 2 stars for effort. I reserve 1 star for full on calamity or complete lack of customer service, but I really cannot imagine being enticed to return to Tolon. Especially with delicious options like Nawa & Mercado right across the street. P.S. Any establishment with negative reviews which mention the owner by name, confirmed by the owner's argumentative and unprofessional replies should be a HUGE red flag to anyone with half a brain. At this point I'm just thankful we didn't encounter Nicky during our visit!

Yelp
We had an really nice night out starting with dinner. We were going to see a show at the Embassy so we wanted to eat at a place nearby. There is parking right next to Tolon and it costs $5 for hours. Upon entering you will notice that the restaurant is quaint, it is only one room (that I saw) but it is welcoming. We were a part of a party of 6. Everyone really liked their drinks. My husband said that his old fashion was the best he ever had. and another friend that was with us had commented that her amaretto sour was the best she had tasted. I had the June side car, it was lemony and refreshing. For appetizers we had the cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and deviled eggs. All of them were delicious but I really liked the sauce that the cauliflower was in. All the appetizers had a little kick to the sauce but I love spicy foods so it didn't bother me. A couple of people said it was too spicy for them but they enjoyed a small bite and a lot more of their drinks. Everyone really enjoyed their main dish. Three people ordered the king salmon, it was a generous portion and everyone finished their meals. I had a bite of my husbands salmon and it was cooked perfect and the ingredients they spread on top and underneath made usually bland salmon tasty. I had the duck and it was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The rice that it came with was aromatic and fluffy. The duck came with sausage and that went great with the rice too. We were really impressed with all the flavors of our meals. I can't wait to go again.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best restaurants in the state. We've been a couple of times and both times it's been exemplary in every regard.

Yelp
Still an excellent dining experience. This trip I tried the Korean BBQ wings and watermelon salad. Both were delicious! The wings are almost enough for a meal in themselves as a first. I think there were six full wings. The sauce was delicious. It was baked on nicely and had a bit of a kick. The peanut accents were nice. The watermelon salad was very refreshing!

Yelp
Very small space. I visited in March. I sat at the bar by myself, the bartenders were very nice and were very help in recommendations. For my meal I had the bison bolognese. It was a lot more than I thought it was going to be. I would recommend not getting the pasta option lol.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday night. Almost didn't get a table... it was spur of the moment and we didn't have reservations. I'm glad we did though because it was a pleasant experience, and we've been meaning to go since it opened. Most entrees are gluten free, which was so nice to see. Clearly marked on the menu. We had the Devilled Eggs for an appetizer. 4 half-eggs, piled high. Slightly spicy and pretty good! For cocktails, I had the Sidecar. Super good. I would go again just for that. Entrees we had: I opted for the pork belly from the appetizer menu and frites. Pork belly was excellent. The fries were piled super high. I'm not sure what the dipping sauce was, but it wasn't my favorite. Kind of herb-y. My husband got the pasta dish, forgetting that he doesn't like squash. Haha oh well. A nice portion, but he didn't finish it. Aptmosphere is casual/trendy I'd say. We had jeans on and didn't feel underdressed. Service was pretty good, with servers filling in for each other when it got busy. I'd go again, even if it is a little pricy.

Yelp
Cute little farm to table restaurant in downtown Fort Wayne. We tried the Blackened Shrimp for a starter, and had the noodle bowl and pork chop entrees. The food was so flavorful with every bite and seasoned great. The meat was cooked to order perfectly. We ordered two cocktails off the menu, and both of them were very strong and worth every dollar (seasonal G&T and jungle bird). The staff was great and the restaurant was very clean. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that while the food tasted great we were not blown away by it for the price. We will 100% be coming back and plan on trying the Ribeye though since that was recommended to us.
