Wonderful food and friendly staff. Set in beautiful countryside. Had a lovely walk to reach it past some very friendly neighbouring cattle!

Elevated Bavarian cuisine in a wonderful countryside setting. The very small menu demonstrates the skill and confidence of the kitchen. Every dish we had was executed perfectly, starting with a sherry beef broth, a lovely Wiener Schnitzel to a slow roasted Simmentaler beef shoulder that you was fork tender. The desserts were excellent as well, and the chef came out to have a conversation with each of the tables which was appreciated. Well worth a visit - make sure to book ahead.

The food is really excellent, modern but also traditional bavarian, beautiful location. However in 2023 to not accept international cards in a Michelin guide proposed gourmet restaurant, where for sure foreign tourists are also coming, in the middle of nowhere, out of town and banks, is simply ridiculous. If I do not have 200 EUR cash with me, what they do ? Three stars goes only for this little, but more than embarassing detail.
