Tom Lee Park

Amazing park for both adults and children of all ages! Plenty of accommodations, quiet spaces and history. Also has beautiful sunsets and hosts some of the best events the city has. Is 100% a must-visit part of Memphis!

This playground and park is incredible. The park is named after a man who rescued many individuals and brought them to safety after their boat capsized on the Mississippi River. Currently, there are posters up, telling his story (see the photos below). The park is quite large, and has multiple basketball courts, hammocks to swing in, large wooden swings, a huge playground with animals you can climb into, slides, a little putt putt course, etc. The park is right on the Mississippi River.

A fantastic area by the Mississippi River to walk, run, and bike with plenty of paths. Places to just sit and enjoy the view with park equipment throughout. Very nice.

Beautiful Park by the Mississippi River – A Perfect Spot for Everyone! This park, located right along the Mississippi River, is beautifully designed and perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. It offers well-maintained playgrounds for kids, a basketball court, and plenty of benches where you can sit and enjoy the scenic views. The mini-golf course is a fun addition, and the park facilities, including restrooms, are clean and well-kept. What’s especially great is that everything is wheelchair accessible, making it an inviting place for all visitors. The park is very clean and carefully maintained, making it a great destination for families, sports lovers, or anyone looking to unwind by the river.

Grateful for the recent renovations. Stellar river views! I love the free fitness classes like pilates, yoga, HIIT - they really bring people together. Highlights include Visionary Point, sculptures, the different playgrounds and the variety of plant species. Whether you're on the Bluff Walk or down by the water, it's always stunning.

It's so lovely,peaceful, and Beautiful . Nothing like before . I really love it and so does my grandkids .

Great job to the City of Memphis! This park is absolutely beautiful!! Excellent location for a gorgeous walk, for kids to play, or to just sit and enjoy the mighty Mississippi. The inspiring story of the park’s namesake (Tom Lee) is one of selfless courage. Thank you for honoring such a brave man. This is a MUST SEE if you’re visiting Memphis. You won’t be disappointed.
