‘Top Chef: Houston’ Recap: Episode 2’s Queso and Carb Showdown Showcases Tex-Mex, Football Fanfare, and Chris Shepherd | Eater Houston
"Used as the setting for a football-themed elimination, the stadium hosted two teams of seven who had 30 minutes to produce pre-game, carb-forward dishes in head-to-head matchups judged by a points-for-votes system that translated into yards on the field. Previous finalists Sam Talbot and Dawn Burrell captained the sides, and while judges praised many plates, neither team reached the 100-point threshold for immunity. Strategic missteps stood out—one team matched a sticky Filipino rice cake (Biko) against a savory potlikker and lost after judges favored the latter, while overcooked rice and under-seasoning sank other entries. Standout moments included a boosted congee that benefited from added black garlic and an MVP performance that paired a hearty 'dirty farro' with 'nduja pork, chicken thighs, and liver' to clinch the round. The overall takeaway was a reminder that vision must translate to seasoning and properly tasted dishes, which ultimately sent a tearful contestant home." - Brittany Britto Garley
Nice stadium. Tons of clean restrooms. Great variety at concessions. Coke Zero on the fountain is a huge win. Bands sit in the endzone which makes for an odd game experience with no band playing amongst the crowd. Nachos had a good cheese to chip ratio.

Not very friend staff. The band booster asked for some ice for the water cooler, but they refused. We weren't allowed to take in neck fans nor big posters.
The facility was beautiful. The consession service was fast, but they don't put to much cheese on the nachos. It was so on like two chip, once I asked for extra cheese they wanted to charge me 50 cents extra when it didn't have enough cheese from the get go

Had a great time watching the DCI Houston!! But I think it's fixed... the Mandarins clearly won. They had great work with their props. I didn't notice anybody dropping anything. They were flawless, in my opinion. Followed by Madison, Crown, & the Bluecoats. Not the blue devils, they must be paying someone off to win 20 years straight. SMH.

Attended Lone Star College graduation here last night. Sat in the seats, not the bleachers. Seats are very comfortable and it's a great view of the field.

No elevator for handicapped. Handicapped area is not marked so everyone sits in seat meant for handicapped. Poorly planed. Security said there is not a place for handicapped designated. Only about 25 handicapped parking places for the entire parking.
Supposedly a 10,000 seat stadium. They need to visit the Berry center in Cy-Fair ISD to see the gold standard.

Nice stadium. The Ainsley Angels 5k was held here and it was a nice venue. Very spacious and clean. Looks relatively new. Elementary and junior high share the parking lots here by the look of it.
