I had a day to myself in Palm Springs before meeting up with friends. I ate here twice and had a great experience both times. I like that you order the counter and then pick your seat. When you’re seated, you can order more from the server. They also have live music. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere.

Nice vibe. Good food. Great happy hour coconut cloud martinis! Could feel those. Nice big patio with live two piece band playing guitar and singing beautiful music. Only thing that could be better would be not having to go up to a counter to order food and first round of drinks. After that you get table service. Friendly staff. Centrally located Would recommend.

Absolutely delightful restaurant and staff! The food is outstanding, the cocktails delightful, but the staff is what makes the visit the best. Sit outside and people watch, enjoy the music, and don't miss the blackened mahi tacos! Connor and Scott were amazing servers! ❤️

This restaurant was recommended to us and it was a winner! The 2 of us shared coconut shrimp (delicious!), steak tacos (awesome taste) , chips and guacamole,and the mahi mahi tacos (good too). We sat outside and enjoyed our food, the vibe and the people watching.

From the moment we entered, the cheerful and friendly response from the receptionist lifted our mood. The floors, both indoor and outdoor, were spotless, as if they were cleaned frequently. A server approached us with an incredibly kind and pleasant voice, which brightened our experience. The food and cocktails we ordered were served at just the right time, beautifully presented and far from boring. However, the issue was the food. The tacos were unbearably salty, as if someone had taken a spoonful of salt, and the buffalo wings seemed to have been rushed through preparation, leaving visible hairs intact. While we wanted to raise complaints, it felt like there were too many issues to address, so we quietly left. On a positive note, the restroom was clean and pleasantly scented. Aside from the food, everything about this place was perfect.

We stopped here for a drink and a snack, so I don't have much to base a review on. The location is great and the atmosphere was fun and lively. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching as they came for photos by the flowering trees. Very nice!

I was really impressed with how fresh the Poké bowl tasted. The service was good and the atmosphere was good. The live music was on point. I was pretty impressed with their establishment.

Tommy Bahama's has always been one of my all-time favorite spots, and this location did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, everyone was so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The appetizers were absolutely delicious, each one thoughtfully prepared, and paired perfectly with the refreshing drinks we enjoyed. The live music added a relaxing and uplifting vibe to the entire experience, making it feel like a little escape from reality. The shop inside was equally amazing, offering a refreshing and vibrant atmosphere with beautiful items to browse through. Everything about this place just feels luxurious yet effortless, with every corner smelling amazing and designed to make you feel young, free, and alive. One thing that stands out every time is their signature wings, these are an absolute must-try! They're easily one of the best items on the menu and something I look forward to every time I visit. This location in Palm Springs is perfect - based at a corner lot and a mix of outdoor and indoor dining with a fun relaxed vibe - good food choices and friendly service all around. I had the delicious shrimp salad my son had the fries and wings and my wife had the jumbo shrimp along with corn dip and chips - I recommend this restaurant for both adults and families - I'll need to try the location in NYC a few blocks from where I work

We of course needed dinner after a long day sightseeing and I was driving downtown and I saw Marlin again. I saw when we were walking in the daytime but when it was lit up in the early evening I choose it quickly. Then we had the experience. First contact was the lady hostess who helped us quickly and we ordered the Mexican corn dip. Just a fabulous dist. We choose our seats which was near the 2-piece lady and man band. Great music. We was rocking the whole time. What good mix of songs. The waiters and management was awesome. The Food: AMAZING!! We ordered The Mex corn dip (Yum) The Beef Sliders, Halibut Tacos and The Steak Flatbread, Fries (needed a little more salt). Everything was so good. Cooked and seasoned very well. The Taco I was asked to taste and My GF and I loved them, next the Sliders she had hers last night and I had mine for breakfast. Halibut Tacos (yum but need a little more seasoning.) The Steak Flatbread was a little disappointing. I think if the slices of meat was shaved a little thinner and put all over the top would make this dish a bigger winner than it probably all ready is. Tommy Bahamas is not a fancy place to bring someone to impress them, but it is great for a casual meal with friends or family. The food is ALL consistently delicious. Serving times, atmosphere, flavors, service, and prices are all top notch. Plus, they almost always have free live acoustic entertainment that is great. I highly recommend stopping by to see for yourselves.

GREAT SERVICE and FABULOUS POSITIVE ATTITUDE FROM BRANDON!! Yummy coffee drink and tacos, too... and a Marvelous Brownie dessert, which is a must not miss! But BRANDON is the best thing there.

What. A. VIBE! This was a spontaneous brunch we had while downtown and we couldn't be happier. Live music - scratch kitchen - great service. We enjoyed all of the dishes we had and will definitely be back for a casual spot out or starting our night

Food is good, service great, low key place with music on weekends (dunno about weekdays). Have been twice and both times I and my friends have enjoyed it.

This review is only for the store and not the restaurant as we were in town on vacation when we stopped in looking for a denim blue jacket (Sunset Blue Wash) for my wife and wanting to use a $50 off promotion coupon which she had. Unfortunately they did not have her size but our Sales associate who rang up the sale did a great job and found her size at their La Jolla store and said it would arrive in 1.5-2 weeks. Low and behold we find out that it arrived earlier this week ahead of the delivery time. Thank you Tanner (name on the receipt) for the great customer service and making it easy for me as a Christmas gift to her.

I generally shy away (understatement) from chain restaurants, but Tommy Bahama in the heart of PSP has everything dialed in! All about the Happy Hour here and they have live music outside. We were lucky enough to hear Eevaan Trè at unfortunately the end of the set, but feel lucky to have heard him singing Tennessee Whiskey...wow, amazing. Hope they continue to support local musicians, providing the perfect atmosphere to get them exposure. Hurricane tots were a winner...so much that we ordered multiple rounds.

The Mrs. and I took a break from the heat yesterday and stopped by the Tommy Bahamma Marlin Bar......and it just so happened to be Happy Hour. Happy Hour is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily. A small group of drinks is offered. I ordered the Mai Tai and the Mrs. ordered the Classic Margarita with salt. We enjoyed both our drinks. We didn't try any food. It didn't look like food was part of Happy Hour. The bar area is pretty small. We sat at the low part of the bar. The only negative thing I can say is, the acoustics in the bar are horrible. The service we received was excellent.

I was actually looking for the Palm Desert location, but came here, as we were hungry and it seemed convenient. While parking our vehicle, a 20-foot Marilyn Monroe stature welcomed us and we just parked near her as a point of reference. The bar food was good, but seating was limited inside, so outside it was. fortunately, the bar is in the shadows of the building at lunch and had misters throughout the outside dining area. The food was on par with what I'm accustomed to, and enjoyed the various types of tacos served which were meaty and tasty. I would come back again in the winter time, where I can walk the boulevard in Palm springs and just people watch from the restaurant...

We had a really pleasant experience here. You order at the front kiosk, find a seat and your food is brought out. You're then waited on by a waiter. The service was great here and the people were all very nice. The food wasn't anything special but was what we needed and just enough to share. We ordered a cucumber gin drink and a fruity gin drink, can't remember the names but they were both refreshing! We sat outside with the misters and had a nice lunch!

Stopped for a quick lunch and ordered a couple of salads, it wasn't bad but a little pricey for what you get. You have to order at the entrance and find a seat, they do bring your food and drink to the table so it's not totally self service. It's not as good as a few other locations we've been to in Florida.

Right in the heart of PS downtown. Very nice outdoor seating, with live music and Christmas lighting. We enjoy the vibe! All the food we tried are delicious.

What more could you ask for in a patio restaurant/bar along the sunny streets of downtown Palm Springs? Maybe you're drawn to the live music like a moth to a flame after walking Palm Canyon aimlessly, hungry for a satisfying bite. Of the TB Marlin Bars I've encountered, by far PS offers a superior downtown location you can walk right into and have a drink in hand within minutes. Perhaps after parking in the nearby structure. It's a laid-back outdoor space complete with umbrellas, mist on hot days, and heaters on cool evenings. It's where to chill in the desert! Food/Drink: Besides when hunger strikes, my favorite meal is a happy (hour) meal. For the Marlin Bar, that's 3-6 PM daily. No reservations needed; just follow the signs and order at the counter before securing your table. While "island time" (happy hour) may not include food, there are plenty of snacks on the menu to share with the table, like the World Famous Coconut Shrimp, the (spicy) Crispy Chicken Wings, or the 808 flatbread with its sweet heat. While visiting, both sister and niece requested we dine in a second time they enjoyed the atmosphere and food (Grilled Chicken and Mango Salad, and the Ahi Poké bowl). Vetted cocktails include the classic mojito, gin martini (ask for the blue cheese olives!), cucumber smash, and the ever popular signature frozen cocktails (mai tai and piña colada). Like it so much you want the recipe? Peep the website for recipes and cocktails! Service: On it! The collective staff of smiley servers all work together to accommodate customers. Should you wish to order additional items, refill a beverage, or close out your bill; simply smile and wave at your nearest server. There's no need to leave your seat or return to the counter! In my experience, the kitchen and bar have food/drinks on the table within 10-20 minutes, or less. Outstanding service PS TB team! Well done. Ambiance: What I love most about the casual corner of Tommy Bahama Palm Springs is that The Marlin Bar offers a relaxed refuge where you can unwind with a cocktail, light fare, and chill out with LIVE music from local musicians, 5-8PM daily (weather permitting). Did I mention they accommodate four legged friends too? With ample seats both inside and out there's a place for everyone at Tommy's. First off the staff is amazingly nice and vested in what they do. Ahi tuna tacos, mahi mahi tacos excellent as are the chips and dip. clean with fireplace and heaters, friendly crowd. Oh and live music that is very tasteful. Mike really is a great asset, Mike goes above and beyond, was an excellent server and person. He really made for a very pleasant experience, we actually came back again and had an equally great dinner. Good food, great location and service good place to enjoy the gorgeous evening.with live music.

Packed on a Tuesday at lunchtime in February, peak season, my husband and I found an outdoor table on Museum Way that leads to the Marilyn Monroe statue and is blocked off except for delivery/drop off. Even better, multiple heaters are placed around the outdoor tables because it is actually cold in the shade in February. We ordered at the counter, and my all-time favorite cocktail, their Coconut Cloud arrived, as good as I remembered. Their mai tais are delicious too. Live music played, and my other favorite, their ahi poke bowl arrived, as delicious as it always is. My happy place.

Tommy Bahama's is on Palm Canyon Avenue in the heart of Palm Springs commercial district. A favorite of locals and tourists alike. The ambiance is casual, and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. There is a full bar with several great cocktail choices. Try the Coconut Cloud Martini, one of my favorites! The food menu is limited, but well prepared, presented, and delicious. There is usually live music at lunch. A bit crowded in season, but tables open quickly, and there is seldom a wait. Definitely worth visiting while you're in town.

Great spot to sit outside for drinks and people watching on the main drag in Palms Springs! Service was great! We just had appetizers like the ahi tacos and the wings, both were great. My kid had the Mac n cheese and he didn't really like it but he's hard to please.

I had no idea Tommy Bahama was in the restaurant business, but I'm sure glad they are. What was supposed to be a quick visit for a drink ended up being a longer stay as the food, drinks and company were awesome. Sitting at the bar, I got a chance to meet some friendly locals of Palm Springs and chat about their favorite things to do around the area. Whenever I'm in town, I'll definitely be sure to return with an empty stomach for an evening of tacos and drinks.

This spot Tommy's Bahamas in Palm Springs sits on a cut corner with a nice shade tree in the front. I order the quesadilla and cheese tots. The food was really good for being some quick appetizers. What I really enjoyed the most was the life music artist serenading you while eating with his beautiful voice and also the service. The service was some of the most friendly for a touristy area. The decor was also very welcoming and refreshing. I definitely would use them as an open to eat if you are in the Palm Springs area.

Such a great place to grab appetizers and a drink. Everything is fresh with high quality ingredients. Service is attentive and the ambiance is lively.

This is an awesome store with a fun bar next-door that serves food and slushy drinks with alcohol. I was so thirsty and the girl who works here give me a club soda, so I'll give her five stars and I took a picture of her! The store itself is really cool, and how beautiful merchandise! It smells so good! Yum

We visited this location on an early mid after Friday & was happy to see the line to get in way was fairly short. You grab a menu walk up to order & pay. The staff was very nice & had some excellent recommendations. The bar area is located near the check out & they have a nifty little shop area that they give a coupon for buying merchandise. Picked our table outside where they have umbrellas to shade the sun. Cocktails came and were very delicious and well made with just the right amount of kick if you know what I mean! Ordered some appetizers because we were going to have dinner at the other TB location later tonight. They were delicious. We ordered more cocktails to celebrate a birthday & took in the ambiance of it all. Had alot of fun people watching too. Great location & waiters were very attentive and kept our water refilled too. Would highly recommend this spot for a casual cocktail & bites to fill your appetite. Definitely returning to spot for more fun.

We have been coming to Palm Springs for years and our first stop is always Tommy Bahama. Awesome staff, solid food, tropical cocktails, live music, and great people-watching - what more do you need! Every time we come here we immediately know our holiday has started. The Mai tai is really tasty but it's a full bar so you can order anything. Blackened shrimp tacos are always super tasty, wish they would go back to the previous version, not huge on mango salsa but alas, still yummy! Highly recommend if you want to truly feel like you're on vacation-mode.

The rooftop was crowded. This isn't their fault but the hostess was rude and dismissive. We waited and finally got a marginal table seated very close to some rowdy college girls. I was excited to try the chicken salad and asked for extra dressing. The salad was so marginal and they forgot the dressing. I asked a second time ! It could have been an off crowded day so I'll try again.

Service: I have been here before, and again today. The service was excellent both times! The host, the cashier, the servers and all the other staff were so kind and actually got to know me and my partner. We had 3 different people constantly checking on us! Ambiance: I'm born and raised in the Coachella Valley so going here during the summer is not ideal lol. I came here today (Dec 3rd) and the weather was perfect. We sat in the patio and the pictures already here on Yelp is exactly what to expect. Lots of tables and people-watching in the middle of downtown. Food & Drinks: phenomenal to be honest. I got two of the "Snacks", the Street Corn Dip and the Hurricane Tots. So yummy! Totally recommend. I also got the "Handheld" Chicken Poblano Quesadilla. It was good but (subjectively) I give it a 8/10. The drinks were GOOD. Go during happy hour! Overall, worth checking out!

Absolutely loved this place! We came here for a light dinner & to enjoy the late afternoon/early dinner. You grab a menu, go to the counter, place your order & they hold your card in case you want to add; the food was so refreshing & lite, we each ordered a salad, mine with shrimp, my husband's w/chicken and we just had to taste the piña colada cake which was incredible!! Different waiters and waitresses would pass by and ask if we need anything they were super friendly. The ambience was perfect! The evening was super chill! Definitely would go back for a chill meal

I LOVE TOMMY BAHAMAS PINA COLADA's! They are sooo good. This pina colada was a bit darker than normal however they are always still so tasty! The vibe here is so fun. They have a huge patio area with misting fans for the hot days or you can sit inside. Everyone is super nice here. If you plan on coming here on a Saturday night, I would recommend making reservations because it gets busy.

Forgot to post my review when I went with hubby last year 2022 in December. First time dining here and didn't disappoint. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated. We chose to be indoors rather than outdoors. Was stellar service and our order came quick. I had the Filet Mignon tacos and were flavorful and the KEY LIME pie is to die for and so heavenly flavored perfectly in sweetness and sourness!!

I absolutely love visiting Tommy Bahama in Palm Springs! The staff is always so nice, greeting you with genuine smiles and a warm welcome that instantly makes you feel at home. The food is delish! I always love going back to try different things. The atmosphere is also always inviting, thanks to the open concept that seamlessly blends the indoor and outdoor spaces. Their poke bowl is so good! It's my go-to selection whenever we go there. Their drinks and desserts are worth a visit as well.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Tommy Bahama all around has great food and service. Also, Yaneth the girl who took our order was SO SO SO KIND! We sat away around the corner and there have been a few times where we haven't been checked on, but we got checked on and our waters were always filled! Drinks were great too.

While on vacation in the area my family and I had dinner here. You order at the counter then find a seat. The staff was very friendly. The drinks and food were very good. I especially enjoyed the coconut shrimp.

I look forward to going to Tommy Bahamas restaurant any day or time. I am guaranteed to enjoy quality food, drinks and shopping! The Marlin Bar locations in Hawaii and Palm Springs are a little more casual in that you can order at the counter or be seated for full table service. On this particular day and location, we met up with a group of 12 for lunch. We were able to get 4 tables moved together to accommodate our group. The service was great, they promptly took our orders and were able to give separate checks with no problem. Enjoy craft cocktails and a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers or full meal combinations of entree and side dishes. Prices average $12 to 15 per person. I am pretty sure this restaurant will be the perfect choice for your friends and family gatherings.

My wife and I traveled to Palm Springs for a Family Thanksgiving. We had a few nights on our own and decided to eat dinner at the Marlin Bar. We ordered the steak flatbread, and I ordered the tacos. The steak flatbread was the best I've ever tasted. My wife who normally doesn't eat bread absolutely loved it. We want back the next night for the steak flatbread and a salad. I don't think we ever had back-to-back dinners at the same restaurant. The drinks by the way were equally amazing. Thank you, Mike and Nate for treating us like we were Special.

This Sunday was a beautiful day in Palm Springs after driving down from gloom in LA. We were there at 11 am and Brian greeted us with a big smile and explained how the seating worked. FYI: They do not take reservations and in order to get a table you have to start a tab with a credit card. I found this odd but went with it. There were a lot of tables outside on the covered patio and some inside. Our group sat outside at a long table for 12 to enjoy the warmth. The menu was more of a Mexican fusion that also had sliders, fries and a few salads. Everything came out pretty quickly and the servers were very attentive. We had a wonderful time visiting with old friends and new ones! *Very accommodating service *You can ask for separate checks if in a large group *Credit card or cash tab must be started before you can sit at a table *Street parking & parking over by the museum.

Party of 12 Restaurant: The hubby and I met with some friends at this ever-so-popular restaurant in Palm Springs. They do not take reservations which was why I was grateful that one of them came early to get in line and get first dibs in seating (thank you, Te-see!). We had a perfect long table at their outdoor side patio... just right for a party of 12. Thankfully we were under a shaded area even though it was a nice, comfortable weather of 86° with a slight breeze. Hubby and I shared an order of the All-American Burger Slider and a side of Fries. Actually, I ate all the fries LoL! I am amazed at how efficient the service was at Tommy Bahama|Marlin Bar. They accommodated separate checks for our group perfectly, no mistakes, no confusion. We had amazing server(s). Water refills came by often and food came at a reasonable time. They've got their system down pat... it's no wonder there is always a waiting list. The food is on the pricey side but this is Palm Springs LoL! Wonderful first time experience here and we were not rushed out of there. We were there for 2 hours. Store: wow! The food was so good! Honestly, I was just going because my mom recommended it to me, but I wasn't expecting much. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! We also got lemonades and they didn't taste like Minute Maid lol. Overall would go back again!

Unfortunately quality of drinks at Tommy Bahamas are not consistent. We are a frequent visitor to multiple locations of tommy Bahamas and sometimes we have great bartenders, drinks and food, whereas other times we walk out disappointed. This time at Marlin bar I was disappointed with my Mai Tai. It was so overly sweet and lack enough rum to cut the taste. Note was at Palm desert location the day before and drink was on par. I sent the drink back and got a martini. The basil martini was on par. No issue in replacing drink. Also the indoor space was quite busy at 5pm. Makes sense as super hot outside. The indoor space is very small. Better place to go in winter when you can sit outside. The place felt a little unkept inside. Napkins under the bar seats. Table dirty. The other annoying thing is at the marlin bar when you sit at the tables you have to open the tab at the take away counter, but afterwards you could order from the waitress. I don't understand this, do not trust patrons to pay?

Tommy Bahamas is all hype, in my opinion. The food was ok. To be honest, the best thing we had was their cake. Everything is overpriced. Employees were very friendly and welcoming, so that's why they get a 3. I don't know what people see @ this spot, but to each is own. I most likely won't return in the future.

Really good place to have lunch in palm spring. Foods and drinks are good but the service could be improved. They have fun appetizers (asparagus fried stick, coconut shrimps), and decent main dishes (steak tacos, tuna taco, and crab salad, my fav) . This coconut cocktail tastes yummy. They are little disoriented with the service (needed to ask us again for orders and slow in serving food and helping us checkout) Stopped by this restaurant for lunch on our way to palm spring desert Zoo.

This ain't no Applebee's or Chili's. When I think good old American food, this would be the first restaurant that comes to mind. Mister Bahama knows great food and atmosphere. My family came here for a quick lunch. Gorgeous weather deserved an al fresco meal. You basically seat yourself, look over the menu, and go to the register to order and open a tab. They bring out your food and you ask the server for the final check. I was very impressed by how the cuisine was. Everything was plated well and delicious. I think this should be the standard for casual American cuisine. Their famous coconut shrimp - delicious, but I wished there was more than just four pieces Mango Chicken salad - my favorite, very refreshing. Ahi tuna tacos - my husband's favorite. Nice balance between the soft tuna and crunchy taco shell. It gets crowded on weekends so come early if you want a table with shade.

Went to Tommy Bahama on a Friday around 6PM. The experience was overall okay - you can definitely get better food and ambience and service in the area though. The food was alright: 3/5 for most things. The world famous coconut shrimp was not as striking as hoped for. It was just regular deep fried shrimp though the salad with it was good. The ahi tuna tacos were eh. The fish wasn't super fresh and there was not a lot of flavor. Quite bland. The Nashville sliders were good! A good amount of flavor and tender chicken. The tater tots were good as well! Had a lot of flavor but was very salty. What gets marked down here is the service. The servers aren't super nice and as much as I don't want to say it, I felt like my table was served significantly less kindly compared to others. For background, I came with POC and we were generally younger in age. Quite disappointing.
