Ate here with my family today. We had the Guacamole & Fire Roasted Salsa with chips & Street cheese dip as appetizers. For the cocktail I had the classic mojito and the jerk chicken sandwich for my meal. It was delicious and flavorful. Overall service and food was great and look forward to coming again.

Robbie F.

Google
The service and the food were amazing. Ryan Smith the waiter went above and beyond. Seriously, the overall experience could not be better. The food was great and it took me this long to mention it because everything else was so out of this world. 10/10 review!

Alecia K.

Google
Had the best lunch at Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar with my kids! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. Our waitress Emily was kind, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The lovely lady at the bar was just as welcoming. When I met the manager, Joseline, it all made sense—her warm smile lit up the entire room. You could immediately see the care, leadership, and grace it takes to run a place with such heart. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Emily was amazing! Her shareable suggestions were a hit. She was a delight to have as our server.

Lisa L.

Google
Nice location on Las Olas! The atmosphere is great, and the frozen Piña Colada did not disappoint. The menu is a bit limited, so I just had the chips and salsa—not really what I was in the mood for food-wise—but I did enjoy browsing through the connected Tommy Bahama store and got some shopping done. Overall, a pleasant stop!

Stacey P.

Google
A nice place to take an afternoon break and people watch. Cocktails were refreshing and Chris took great care of us!

Israel M.

Google
The staff on the retail side were very friendly and I enjoyed my drink along the countertop with great people and great music!

Adam L.

Google
Reasonably priced food that tasted really good. The staff was very nice but aside from the man that handed us our menus, they were very, very slow. We had to get back to where we were parked by a specific time and ended up having to rush because we waited so long for our salads and then for our check after we were done eating. Really I want to do 3.5 stars but since I can't, I am doing 4.

Michelle W.

Yelp
Had a delicious meal and even better service by Chris and Emily. Both of them were very friendly and attentive. Coconut shrimp was really tasty and had the chicken mango salad . Both delicious..

Yelp
We had a great experience at Marlin Bar on Sunday. We stopped in for drinks and food and ended up staying longer than expected thanks to the great vibes and fantastic service. The live music was a great touch, not too loud which is the perfect balance for a relaxing and fun Father's Day celebration. The temperature was super hot but once we walked in, they had a great system that allowed us to be super Comfortable even though they had the windows/doors all open. Everything we ordered from the drinks (minus the espresso martini, don't order that) to the food really hit the spot. A solid choice for a laid back yet festive outing. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Stopped by Tommy Bahama for a quick Saturday night drink and a snack... and quick it was not. We both got cocktails (just okay), and shared some sliders which, to their credit, were tasty -- once they finally arrived... 40 minutes later. The whole place felt understaffed -- one guy at the bar and one overwhelmed server for all the tables. For a Saturday night, that's just not going to cut it. The live music and the fans with misters were a nice touch and kept the mood enjoyable, but the $56 bill for two average drinks and a plate of sliders left us feeling a little salty. Not terrible, just not in a rush to return.
google avatar

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
The service wasn't good. No one acknowledged us when we sat down. Bartender forgot to make my drink. Seemed like some sort of feud or bad blood between the two servers. The mai rao was great and the shrimp salad was mediocre.
google avatar

Mateja K.

Yelp
I love shopping here! They have a fantastic selection, the store is always clean and organized, and the employees are amazing. Drema, Jeff, Angelina, and Jacob always go above and beyond! I needed a different size for one of the items I wanted to purchase, and they looked up the stores nearby that had this in stock. Angelina did a great job of using my gift cards and store credit as well. I'll certainly return.
google avatar

Jordan M.

Yelp
Food was great and our server was new, but so friendly and patient with my friends as they asked lots of questions to figure out what to order. The cucumber crush cocktail was tasty enough to have me back again very soon.
google avatar

Anthony M.

Yelp
First time, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant like a the Caribbean Bahamas, atmosphere except it needs improvement in the music selection. The Mahi taco fish was delicious along with the burger sliders.

Yelp
We always have a good time at Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar! The food and drinks are very flavorful and delicious! The music was especially great last night with the very talented South Floridian Bryant Del Toro! Bryant very enjoyable and personable. He took requests and played songs by Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Marc Broussard, Chris Young and even some of his own. This place has such an uplifting atmosphere! Good music, good food and drinks what more could we ask for during the week in the off season!? For food and drinks we enjoyed a classic Margarita, Run Runner, Blackened Mahi Tacos, Burger Sliders, Chicken Poblano Quesadilla and the most delicious Warm Brownie with Creamy Vanilla Ice cream. Always a hit with us and we recommend it highly. We always start and finish with a walk and browse through the Shop sometimes with a handsome (for him) or a pretty (for me) Tommy Bahama purchase!

Yelp
The setup is nice and open. Outdoor seating and a wrap around inside and outside bar. I only ordered a drink as this was one of the stops along the St Patty's Day bar crawl last month.

Yelp
We returned to this location because when we tried in a couple of years ago we LOVED it. The menu options were great and the food was awesome. Unfortunately, it seems they've completely revamped their restaurants and it's more self-serve/walk up now. Menu has now been changed and limited and it's just note same. Food was okay, but just not the same feel and taste.

Yelp
I have passed by this location many times, but this was my first visit. It was relatively busy, but not overly so, as there were spots at the bar. I typically will choose the bar if available. My friend and I were greeted relatively quickly, and the staff was friendly. However, from that point on, we waited. We ordered the Street Corn Dip, which was decent, but needs sturdier chips for dipping. The appetizer arrived before our drinks did, and it definitely seemed like they were struggling a bit, despite there being 4-5 people behind the bar. I never waited as long at the Dania location. We drank our drinks, which were good, but decided not to stay. Maybe it was just an off day, and I'll most likely try again at some point.

Yelp
Met friends at the outside bar! We had the famous Coconut Shrimp which were amazing! The service was outstanding! The ambiance was festive and upbeat! The young bartender was fantastic!! I'm sorry I can't remember his name. He made me a delicious Old Fashion with extra cherries! It was perfect! He made it with Knob Creek bourbon and I usually don't like Knob Creek but this was perfect! I highly recommend!

Yelp
This place was good! Sat at the bar so we didn't have a wait. The margarita was OK, it tasted syrup. The buffalo cauliflower was good, not the best I've ever had. The steak tacos on the other hand were delicious. Huge pieces of medium rare and flavorful steak were in each tortilla, and we really loved this dish.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is always pretty good here. So are the drinks. They did change the way you order. You used to order from the counter and then find a spot to sit. Now you seat yourself and servers come to you. It took 20 mins before someone even came. I ordered a beer. 10 mins later they brought the beer I ordered. I asked for plastic because at this point it had been 30 mins and the plan was I was just stopping in for a few mins then leaving because I had somewhere to be. So I asked for a plastic cup so I could just take my drink with me (not illegal or uncommon in Fort Lauderdale at all) and they wouldn't allow that and said I had to drink it there. So that was frustrating. But like I said, food is good. I like everything I've tried here in the past. Didn't order anything yesterday bc of time constraints but some of my friends did (btw the food came out quicker than our drinks!)

Yelp
Best bar service in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Drinks were great, bartenders just as good and super friendly. Didn't try the food but next time I will and I'm sure they'll get the 5 stars then. Live music and great vibes.

Laura H.

Yelp
Got a seat at the bar Friday night! Music was nice and the bartenders were enjoyable and we had some fun with them. Drinks were excellent and I thought the food was quite good. Will be going back again during happy hour!

Yelp
The food is perfection! You have to try the wings with the cucumber fries! A-mazing. Served fresh.

Yelp
A nice hangout spot with live music right on las olas! You order at the counter, then they bring the food out to you, then you get the check after. A bit unconventional. Let's get into the food. To eat: Ahi tuna tacos- crispy wonton shells filled with fresh Blackened shrimp tacos- the shrimp wasn't really blackened. But it had a yummy corn salsa slaw on top. Chicken and mango salad- almonds, feta, blueberries. It was just okay, probably wouldn't order again. Buffalo cauliflower- crispy buffalo batter with ranch and buffalo dipping sauce! side of pickles. delicious

Yelp
Came to Tommy Bahama to have a drink on Cinco de Mayo. As it is right down the street from a very popular taco place where we were on the wait list for. They have a pretty good appetizer menu, so we decided to have some bites as well. We had tuna tacos which were delicious. Coconut shrimp, which were good but a tad to sweet. And the Shrimp bacon flat bread. I didn't taste that. I don't do bacon. I also had Traena wine which is from the Hope family vineyards in Paso Robles, which I love. The place is well lit. They had live music. The performer was great. I enjoyed all the covers he did. Service however was a little lacking. Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

Marc L.

Yelp
I'm from out of town and had a great experience at Tommy Bahama. Got great service from both Emily and Chris. The food was excellent with a very pleasant and inviting ambience!
google avatar

Steven M.

Yelp
The food was great and the drinks were too. Jerk wings don't taste like jerk but are well seasoned in a Cajun dry rub. The Mai Tai was well balanced with sweet and tart notes, but not as strong as they typically come for a classic. Would def recommend this spot just be prepared to wait a while on everything, so don't come starving, more of a place to make a stop at while in Fort Lauderdale.

Robyn P.

Yelp
Had such a great time thanks to our fabulous bartender! We will be coming back every time we're here, great food and service!

Yelp
The only thing a person can count on in life is constant change, and at around 3:30PM on a Tuesday I stopped by for a mojito during their happy hour, which is from 3PM-6PM, and there wasn't a single person at the bar. Not surprising though considering the "feels like" temperature is currently 110 degrees and they have all their sliding windows and doors open, along with their water misting fans on. It's like a steam bath in here! I was dressed in shorts and a t-shirt, so I decided to stay and have one, after all, I paid $3 for one hour of parking. I ordered my mojito, and painfully watched the bartender attempt to make my drink. I jokingly asked if he went to bartending school or if he were a state-certified bartender, which I am...and he answered no to both. But he was very nice and service was great. When I went to check in on YELP, a coupon popped up good for one free appetizer. ($20 value) So, I thought about it, and ordered another mojito along with ahi tuna tacos. However, when I showed the offer to the bartender, he stated he didn't know about it, and asked if he could take my phone to show the manager. I agreed, along with telling him that I'm not responsible if any pornographic photos pop up! We both laughed. When he returned he stated that the manager didn't know about it either, but they would honor it. The tuna tacos were good, and so was the second mojito. To be honest, I'm not sure I'll be back, at least not until November or December...maybe...but by then, the snowbirds and tourists will have descended upon the area and if this business is still open, I'm sure they'll be busy like they once were.

Yelp
This is my second time here and I loved it! Soul greeted us with a warm welcome and a big smile! He took our order and provided the best recommendation for a mock-tail order I requested. I trusted him with his recommendation but still asked him that if I didn't like it, if he could get me a different drink and he said, absolutely. I'll tell you...that drink was absolutely delicious! It was refreshing and I loved the tacos and the key lime pie! The service was quick and all the staff members were very nice. Nice and chill ambiance too! They are lucky to have Soul there...he made the experience so memorable!

Yelp
I was so happily surprised with this place. Great corner patio, with live music and delicious vegetarian options. You order at the cashier and that was so efficient. People were friendly and helpful and the live music was great! Will definitely go back.

Yelp
Love everything about this place! It's right on Las Olas and has counter seating at the bar and tables inside. There are also stools where you can sit along the sidewalk and people watch. I think the plan is to order at the bar, get a number, and then be seated until your food is delivered. When our server noticed my mom had a cane she suggested that we sit and she would bring menus to us. She was super pleasant; I believe her name was Kiome. (I hope I got that right, she deserves a shout out!) The menu has casual items; appetizers, salads, sandwiches, etc. most of the food has a tropical flair. I ordered the grilled chicken and mango salad. It was delicious! Lots of fresh grilled chicken and flavorful fruit and almonds. I loved it! I ate the whole thing! My mother had the coconut shrimp appetizer. It was 4 jumbo pieces of shrimp circling some homemade slaw. She liked the shrimp a lot; but wasn't a fan of the slaw. The other guest in our party had the sliders. I rarely get sliders because it's just a think layer of beef; but these were big and juicy! The buns looked yummy and fresh too. She said they were some of the best she's ever had. Just my mom ordered a wine; but they do have a full liquor bar. It's a very casual place, and the prices are very reasonable. (Especially in comparison to the prices in their retail shop, which has adorable, but pricey clothes.). I think this is the perfect place for a casual meal if you are out strolling on Las Olas or just looking for a place to eat in a hurry. I will definitely be back....,next time I'm skipping breakfast and saving room for their delicious looking desserts!

Yelp
I own too many items of this brand. From shoes, belts, sweaters, more accessories, and of course their Hawaiian style shirts. I really need to cut back, but I am shopping for new "boat" shoes (loafers). Maybe it is my time to go sailing...? Quality/Quantity - Thanks for coming out with the stretch shirts, the way I have been eating I am going to have to invest in these; see pictures. The styles look good also. We also frequent the Tommy Bahama Restaurants in Maui every time we are on the island. It is one of my wife's favorite restaurants. Atmosphere - This location has both the clothing store and the Marlin Bar. Clean & organized location. Outdoor seating closed due to the storm, but that did not stop one couple from using it. They must be on their honeymoon, LOL. Service - Service on the clothing side was great. The service on the bar side was strange...? I had an employee follow me into the restroom, then she followed me to the clothing side? Not sure what to say here? So I left without buying anything; she creeped me out! Price - N/A, due to the creepy employee. Owner Comment - Congrats on your 29+ years of success since 1993.

Yelp
I was invited back here by Renee the manager. She is lovely. It took my friend and I awhile to come back but we made it today. I ordered a Margarita and that was good. My friend enjoyed her Grapefruit Basil Martini. We each ordered an Ahi Poke Bowl. This was very good. They use very frsh ingredients. I noticed it was different though. I asked Renee and she said they changed it up a bit and use rice now instead of greens. I like it both ways. I substituted the lime vinaigrette for the dressing included. They actually gave me both. It turns out I like the included one which I believe is sesame dressing. We each ordered a Mai Tai at different times and they looked very different. I am not sure if one of us received something different. Anyhow, we both enjoyed our drinks. My friend had a birthday dessert to redeem so we shared a HUGE piece of Pina Colada cake. We could not even finish it. This was delicious. Thank you for the invite back Renee. I will be back. We had a much better experience this time.

Yelp
Food excellent, drinks good, service not so great. Over priced, but so is all TB related. Ambiance nice. Single electric guitarist was great, not so loud you couldn't talk, nice musical selection.
google avatar

Yelp
We checked into the Hyatt House nearby just before lunch time, so we decided to walk over and try this place out. The restaurant is about a five minute walk from Hyatt House, and has all open semi-outdoor seating. Some tables are outside the store front under a covered patio, and there are bar areas on two sides - we sat on the bar that where you technically sit on it side, but it faces the inside of the bar. We had the coconut shrimp, blackened shrimp salad, Cuban Sandwich and tacos. I also had the sangria - which I loved since it was on the sweeter side. Everything was delicious and we finished it all. I'd dine here again if we were nearby.

Yelp
Top notch customer service and atmosphere. Sat at the outdoor bartop with a large group of family visiting from out of town. Hannah and Justin were excellent servers and whipped up some tasty strawberry daiquiris for us. The mojo shrimp bowl was light and fresh. The nashville hot chicken sliders were super spicy (thanks to that extra sriracha sauce on top) but very tasty and kept me coming back for more even as my mouth burned! The storefront was also gorgeous and well organized with excellent customer service from Alexus, who remembered our names and treated us like family.

Yelp
Food Service Location Unexpectedly good food as well as good value. Surprisingly quiet spot in a very busy area

Yelp
I've always wanted to visit a Tommy Bahama and today my client brought me. We sat at the indoor bar. Service was great, both bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. We got 2 appetizers (not pictured; the corn dip and the crispy cauliflower) as well as the mahi tacos for him and the bowl you see pictured for me. The ambiance was great, very chill and perfect for lunch. Too hot to sit outside tho. I recommend.

Yelp
Horrible!! I do not recommend. My daughter made reservations and We arrived for Mother's Day, party of 7. They tried to put us in the back by the kitchen with a dirty table while the entire dining room had several open tables with the turning glass that my husband requested. They refused to seat us there. We asked for a manager and showed her the dirty table and she still refused to put us at another table knowing we had reservations and came a long way to eat there. We just left and will never return!

Yelp
Great atmosphere and location. Right on Las Olas. Easy to walk up to, order, and seat yourself. They have live music everyday too during specific timeframes. Staff is very friendly and food and drink orders come out quickly, even when they are busy. Great service and decent prices for great food. We stopped by for dessert and had their key lime pie. SO light, dense, yet fluffy. Perfectly lime. We couldn't have been happier. Definitely will come back for more food. It definitely seems this location would serve just as great of food as the others, based off the pie alone.

Janie S.

Yelp
Excellent experience - drinks were wonderful- not weak. Food was delicious and service by Cody was wonderful and friendly! The hostess was taking some lip from a group infront of us and it always is good to tell people 'you are doing a great job.' She was helpful I'm getting us a beautiful spot. Loved the view. Sitting in the booths it feels like you are alone on the beach!

Yelp
I LOVE the Tommy Bahama restaurants and was super excited to try this bar concept. The entire staff here was exceptional on Christmas Eve - super nice, attentive, and friendly. They had a fantastic live musician who played on the guitar and sang which creates such a cool vibe. They had a few of our favs from the full restaurant here - the coconut shrimp, the mai tais, and the tacos! Everything was delicious! Great spot for apps and a cocktail/glass of wine right in Las Olas.

C B.

Yelp
Menu Changed and prices went up. It was our go to for my favorite drink that is no longer on the menu, neither are the steak tacos that were REALLY good and filling. We got mahi tacos and a taco salad. They were eh and the cucumber smash we got seemed like they were sitting for a while before being brought out bc the ice was partially melted and watered them down. Disappointing:(

Lilly S.

Yelp
Had a great lunch before our flight. Sliders are delicious. Enzo was very attentive, and personable.

Yelp
Fun open bar setup where you can grab a drink at the bar or at one of the high tops overlooking Las Olas. Nice happy hour specials. Friendly staff, good drinks. Overall a nice looking bar filled with cool patrons and happy bartenders..
google avatar

Porsha H.

Yelp
Finally was able to try the las olas location. Such a great spot for happy hour and/or to start your night. Ordering is very easy. The prices are reasonable and you get a good view of las olas if people watching is your thing lol. The service is fast and very friendly. The food is super tasty! I tried the hurricane tots and the quesadilla. Quite scrumptious for a pretty good price. Definitely go check them out.

Yelp
Sitting at the bar as I write this and cannot recommend this place more. Such a great spot for drinks, light bites and lunch/dinner. We were greeted by the fabulous manager, Skyler. It's the Las Olas Art Fair this weekend and the place was packed. Skyler helped us find an open seat at the bar amongst the crowd. I got the coconut mojito which they dyed pink for breast cancer awareness month; so cute! The drink was so fresh and just the perfect amount of strength. The wait staff seamlessly managed the crowd effortlessly. Once an empty seat came available, it was filled immediately. This is definitely the place to be on Las Olas. Great vibes, drinks, food and staff. Thanks again to Skyler for making it a great experience.

Yelp
This place is a MUST TRY!! The food is spectacular, reasonably priced, and good portions. We've tried the buffalo cauliflower, Nashville hot sliders, coconut shrimp, ahi tuna tacos, jerk wings, and everything has been 10/10. So so flavorful!!!! Service is amazing, the workers are SO friendly. Shoutout specifically to Linda & Kiome!!! Ambience is nice, not too loud, plenty of space to sit and drink. Their happy hour is amazing, everyday from 3-6. You can't find these drinks prices anywhere on las Olas. The drinks are always well made. Perfect location, great food, great drinks. Would recommend to anyone on Las Olas.

Brooke O.

Yelp
I've been a loyal Tommy Bahama customer for over two years and have always had great experiences--until today. I placed an order and specifically requested no sour cream on my tacos because I'm allergic to dairy. When I got back to my apartment, I realized sour cream had been added. I called the restaurant several times, but no one answered, so I had to walk back to have the order corrected. When I explained the situation to Tiffany, the store manager, her response was shockingly rude. She told me that next time I should call to notify them, even though I had already requested no sour cream in my original order. I even showed her my call log to prove I had tried calling. While I was waiting for the remake, Tiffany reprimanded two employees at the bar for "being on break," loudly scolding them in front of customers. It was incredibly unprofessional and made the entire experience uncomfortable. This level of service was disappointing and a stark contrast to the positive experiences I've had in the past.

Yelp
This is our favorite place on Las Olas, we absolutely love their daily happy hour, the live music is always fun, and the service and food and drinks are literally 10/10! We are always impressed with the quality of the drinks and the food. Our favorites are their Pina colada, martinis, tuna tacos, & jerk chicken wings! We bring all our friends here for happy hour. The manager and servers are always walking around making sure everything is great!

Yelp
Love to stop in here for a drink before shopping on Las Olas Blvd. Nice outdoor seating and good drinks.

Scott H.

Yelp
Strong drinks, beautiful bar, but unfair treatment by the bar staff. I have been before. I waited out side before opening and when I walked in to sit at the bar I was told by the bartender these seats were taken. Glasses of water were preset with no one sitting there. I felt as an inwanted customer so I left and went to no manners much better vibe and friendlier staff. My money was much better spent there. I will not return until I hear things have changed.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything we ordered were delicious! Service was quick and our waitress was friendly. Great ambiance with a live singer during dinner. So good that my husband thought it was playing from a radio station.

Yelp
I had not been to one of these in a few years. The only one I had been to was on 5th Avenue is Manhattan. I'm not sure if each location has different menus, but I will say I really like this one in Fort Lauderdale a lot. The menu has a very Mexican influence including all sorts of tacos as well as a Mexican street corn dip which is my favorite item so far. I ordered a pina colada and it definitely had a kick. The ordering is not quite the typical waiter coming to the table. They have you order first at the front and then you pick your table and they serve it to you. It's efficient and the wait staff is very attentive. The other nice thing about this is you get to walk out when you are finished. Great place and the apparel store is next door.
