TOMI is a new downtown Japanese spot in the Loop inside Revival Food Hall with sushi made by a robot from Suzumo | Eater Chicago

"A new vendor run by two women with experience at Japanese restaurants including Yuzu and Slurping Turtle will bring automated sushi to a downtown food hall. The operation uses a Suzumo robot (a Tokyo company with U.S. offices in California and New Jersey) capable of rolling about 350 pieces of uramaki an hour, enabling high-volume service for the hall’s lunchtime crowds. Sushi will be rolled with rice paper that features work from local artists, and the founders — Trisha Bun and sushi chef Pamela Decker (formerly sous chef at Arami) — are aiming for affordable, office-worker-friendly pricing, targeting rolls under $7. I’ve been a regular customer at this Tommy Hilfiger outlet location, and my experience has been largely positive thanks to one exceptional employee. This review focuses on both the standout service I’ve received and areas where the store could improve. PARKING Fair warning, parking here is consistently challenging regardless of when you visit. Whether it’s a holiday, weekend, or weekday, the area stays busy and finding a spot can be tricky. Plan accordingly and give yourself extra time. CUSTOMER SERVICE Rosa Garcia deserves every bit of praise for her outstanding customer service. She provides an experience that feels like having a personal shopper who genuinely cares about how you look. What sets Rosa apart is her honesty, she’ll tell you straight up if something looks good on you or not, and I’ve learned to trust her judgment completely. Even when I’m unsure about a piece, her approval gives me confidence because I know she wouldn’t mislead me. Despite English not being her first language, communication has never been an issue; her attentiveness and dedication to customer service shine through. She’s always well-dressed and professional, and I’ve noticed she gives the same level of attention to every customer who needs help. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about some of the other staff members. There’s an off-putting vibe from a few other employees that makes me feel somewhat judged, which is disappointing in contrast to Rosa’s welcoming approach. I only keep coming back to shop here when Rosa is on shift, and I will continue to do so. ATMOSPHERE The store itself has a bright, inviting atmosphere that’s pleasant to walk into. I’ve been enjoying the quality pieces I’ve purchased here. The outlet pricing makes it much more affordable for good quality goods. However, there’s one significant issue: the scented wall plug-ins in the dressing rooms. These consistently cause me to sneeze and give me headaches where otherwise I have no problems. For an upscale store like this, I’d expect more consideration for customers as these scented plugins aren’t even safe for the general public and would recommend switching to something more natural or simply removing them altogether. If there is a scent issue, it should be dealt with accordingly and not masked with such items. OVERALL Rosa Garcia earns 5 stars! She’s the reason I keep coming back. The store itself gets 3.5-4 stars due to the mixed staff experience and the scent issue in the dressing rooms. If you’re shopping here, definitely seek out Rosa for assistance, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a nice clean TH outlet store. Lots of discounts and sale prices available on clothing, accessories, shoes, wallet, belts, socks. There are women, men and kids section. Fitting rooms available. Associates are around to help customers while they also continuously work keeping the store tidy. Checkouts are usually fast. They add or remove additional associates from counter based on number of customers in the line. The only downside for me is this outlets inventory is not as good. They don’t keep as much variety like some of the bigger TH outlet stores I have been to.

I went to the store to buy a shirt, but unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The girl with glasses who was working there actually yelled at us for looking through the shirts and not folding them back immediately. It made us feel very uncomfortable, and we decided not to buy anything. Really disappointing customer service.

This review is for the store at Bergen Town Center. Even when their website was showing the store as open, when I visited it today, upon driving 20+miles, they were closed with sign on door saying "closed until Monday due to inventory". 😠 All I wanted was to return an item. All the staff was still inside, but they didn't open it. Even spoke with store manager on phone. But nobody helped. If they had to close the store arbitrarily like this, they should have updated their website. Very frustrating. 😠

Terrible customer service, walked in the store 45 minutes before closing time neither my wife or kids couldn’t use the fitting room because they were closing. Poor actitudes from all the employees in the store. Bought over $300 worth of merchandise and cashiers had no empathy at all. To make things worse over charging on a discounted pieces. Had to void the entire purchase and run entirely a new bill. Also as we walked in the store they shielded out no cash only credit cards. Terrible customer service and personal. I’ve been shopping this brand for many many years but never ever felt so miserable spending my money at this particular store. Please do something about this store management Thank you
