This is a great hometown bar and grill. I was so impressed by the food! The wings were especially good - they get them from a local farm :-) I also enjoyed the basket of waffle fries! They also give complimentary popcorn which is a great touch, and the servers are really kind and welcoming. They have a pool table and it’s decorated so nicely inside. I’ll be coming back here for sure!

super disappointed at this spot. i came in specifically for the trio. Now i saw the disclaimer of the raises prices but when are they going to update the website???? Website says it’s $12. Paper menu in the bar says it’s $16, my receipt came out to $18!! That’s unacceptable. And why is a house margarita $8???? The burgers were 10/10. I wish i could’ve gotten that alone because the wings were wild and they could’ve kept the fries. They didn’t even have the Mac that originally came with it. I’m so disappointed

I love this place! Go to Tommy's before any Red Wings game. It's kind of a throwback bar of the 80s and 90s, and everyone is very friendly. The service is great, and the atmosphere is amazing. Tons of sports memorabilia all over the place. Popcorn they hand out for free is life-changing good. I had a burger and it was very good. Tommy has always been around every time I have been in and is such a kind person. On one visit, I brought my 6-year-old daughter to the game, and she absolutely loved it, Tommy even offered better seats to the game if we had worse seats. To top it off, they shuttle to the game and back. It's technically free, but please tip the driver. This place, for me, is a must visit whenever I am in Detroit. Highly recommend Tommy's.

Came to this local small business owned bar. A friend and I came to this venue due to hearing great things about it. Apparently, the history here goes back to the ungrounded railroad, upon the walls, pictures and maps are shown of the routed taken. The people here all seemed to be regulars and locals. The service was great, we had lots of laughs! The food was outstanding! We were given popcorn upon arrival. The pretzel bites were good, but the mustard did it for me. The shoe string fries were good and last but not least the chicken wings !! I will crave these Wings forever! Honestly, Im salivating thinking about them 😋 I highly suggest trying them and welcome to your new craving.

2 visits so far 1 with super service and food and one not so great visit. If you're on a budget ask if the menu prices are accurate, as "subject to change" (without notice) 😊. $40 bill could become $80. First visit food and servers were A+, cool vibe !

Don’t judge a book by its cover, because this place was awesome! We ordered the jalapeño poppers, I got a well seasoned burger and Nick and the kitchen were able to accommodate my silly request of half tater tots/string fries which were delicious! Overall service was wonderful!

I love that they keep late hours, too many places stick with COVID hours.....this place is smart, stay open, and get those dollars! I had a decent night here, was at 5 iron around the corner, they closed at 10pm, and we weren't ready to go home, and this was THE ONLY PLACE in the area open till 2, and this was Thanksgiving eve, supposedly the biggest bar night of the year! A lot of bars are leaving money on the table, kudos to Tommy's 👍🏽

Cute little hometown bar with a big back room. Friendly services and friendly patrons. Love this little place... I'm a vegetarian. I'm so glad they offer a black bean burger. They also offer a fancy grilled cheese with your choice of American cheese, cheddar, Swiss, Bleu or feta. DBO will cook you up some food! Lay will take care of you. This place is like "home." They're known for The Bar to be at for any Detroit Sporting event: Lions, Red Wings and Tigers. Come park here for free, grab a bite and a drink and head to the game...
