A great place to stop for a well-made and classic diner breakfast if in the Hampton, VA area. The decor is classic and the staff is very friendly. The food is the star, and I especially enjoyed the pancakes in my house special combo. It's worth noting this place only takes cash, and when I visited, their in-house ATM machine was not working. But definitely worth a stop if in the area for breakfast.

My first time eating at this restaurant and probably my last😅 I ordered catfish with two sides. The fish comes with hush puppies. You don’t see them because they came after I was done eating 😭. Also when you order catfish it usually come with 1 1/2 pieces of fish, my other half came when I was about done eating the whole fish😅. The sides were pretty decent. When it came time to check out this place only takes cash😭😭😭 apparently there’s a sigh about this at the entrance oh and let me add they have their own ATM🤣🤣🤣 So yeah very inconvenient and you’d think the waitress or someone would have said this when we were ordering but there was a guy named Benjamin who let me and my colleague Chime him and he gave us cash… So thanks Benjamin but I most definitely will not be dining here again

I never ate here till today. I ordered breakfast, and Raymond got the double trouble burger, and let me tell you, not only is the food good the potions are well worth the money. I started eating before I took my pictures. But I will be going back.

I have eaten here a few times but not since they reopened. This was my boyfriend’s first time. He was eager to try it since I was raving so much about the place. The decor is typical of a diner. Reminds me of grandma’s kitchen growing up. The kitchen is right there so you can see everything cooked to order. The menu is wonderful and I love the fact you can have breakfast, lunch and or diner food. Tommy’s is a cash only establishment. It states that right on the front door. They also have an ATM in the lobby/waiting area. There are table and chairs and they do have a room for a banquet or large event.. Our server was an absolute gem. She was very attentive but not too overbearing. It was so hard to decide what to eat but I ended up choosing the “Breakfast from the grill” - 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and then two sides and french toast. I had no idea that it came with all of that! I’m very picky about my eggs and they were the perfect over medium. I also ordered brown gravy for my hashbrowns. My boyfriend ordered the 2 eggs with 2 country fried bone in pork chops. That also came with 1 side and toast or biscuit. You get very reasonable portions for the price. I would be surprised if someone didn’t end up taking home left overs. We went during a weekday. If you go on a weekend I highly suggest you get there when it opens. The line forms out the door and the parking lot will be full. But it is worth the wait! The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the floor is sticky but other than that - well exceeds standards.

Heard about this place for years and decided to stop by while I was in the area. They take cash only and there’s an ATM inside. The food was kinda bland but decent portion for what you pay. Waitress was very sweet and provided great service. My food came out in less than 10 minutes. There were mostly regulars that knew each other and the waitstaff. Wasn’t what everyone raves about but cool if you want a lot of food for cheap.

Absolutely delicious. The building itself on the inside has so much character it’s adorable. The staff are excellent and the food, OMG it is incredible. The biscuits to start were homemade- thick fluffy and melted in your mouth. The main course, I ordered the country fried pork chops and they were splendid. The batter was thick and crispy and stayed on the pork chop when you cut it and it was seasoned perfectly. I ordered a side of gravy to dip and it was 10/10. The eggs were light and fluffy and full of flavor. Everything was just delicious. We live about 3.5 hours away but would come here on a weekend getaway and eat here time and time again.

I had the salmon cake breakfast. The salmon cake was morning but breading. Thick breaded crust and nothing but breading inside. Biscuit was hard as a brick. I complained. They made it clear how sorry they were and they put it on the kitchen and the cooks but still no let me give you a discount or anything. The waitress did go talk to the cook and had them make a new one to hand to us on our way our the door. Thank you. It was better but still not good at all. My meal was 15 dollars. They implemented a new system today and I waited forever for food. No complaints. We understood. But the food. And then the lack of customer service from management. My husband was disappointed with his meal too. Won't be back.

I came with me & my bf and everything was okay. Before we even came in the parking lot was packed so we thought we was finna grubbbbb. When we came in they had a thing that said cash only but they had an atm right at the door so we was good. We was waiting for a good minute for someone to even take our order & drinks. But they were asking us as they walked by to attend other ppl and our waiter was really sweet and apologetic about it. I did not get her name but she made sure to make sure we were good. I got the eggs, bacon, sausage patty, grits & i got pancakes he got French toast. The waiter we had was really sweet, and she was considerate. I asked for cheese on my eggs and I think there was bc I saw a small piece of cheese in it but it didn’t taste like there was cheese and they had little to no flavor and were dry. the grits, eggs had no flavor. I’m also really picky with my eggs tho so maybe it’s js me but it just wasn’t good. The fried apples had too much nutmeg and cinnamon. It was no sweetness js the flavor. I added sugar to it and it did get a tad better but all that nutmeg was throwing it off. This seems like a good spot to go with your family, but not for good eats. The pancakes and the bacon were really good tho. I added some whipped cream on my pancake and it was good. I got me some apple juice also to drink and I’m ngl that juice had me NEEDING to check my blood pressure lol. It was extremely sweet. This is a good place but if I was to ever come back I would edit my order a lot to make it taste better than what it was. Or I’ll just pay attention to see who in the kitchen cs not everybody know how to put love in every dish they make.

Yelp
This was my first time here. Food was pretty good esp the pancakes -- was fluffy and flavorful. The batter/the pancake tasted slightly like funnel cakes lol. Service was good. The inside wasn't too big. They open from 0700-1500 everyday, I believe. I'd recommend going here but get in while you can bc it can get crowded with the compact space. Below I got the Tommy's combination breakfast w/ pancakes. Was definitely worth it. ***It's a CASH ONLY*** place so have those green papers ready, LOL.

Yelp
Tommy's Restaurant - A True Hampton Roads Staple Tommy's is more than just a restaurant -- it's a Hampton Roads institution. This place has been around for as long as I can remember. I've been coming here since I was a little girl, and now I'm almost 60! Over the years, it's changed hands a few times, and if I'm not mistaken, there are new owners again. I love the fresh updates they're making -- new booths, tightened chairs, and an overall cleaner, more refreshed look. One of the best parts about Tommy's is that the new owners are hands-on. They come by your table to check in and make sure everything's to your liking. You'll notice some new faces among the waitstaff, especially more male servers now, which is a nice change. A few of the long-time waitresses are still there too, adding that familiar charm. The food? Always delicious. No matter when you come, there's usually a line -- I'd say 70-80% of the time. But that's because it's that good. Just a heads-up: they only take cash, but there's an ATM in the lobby for your convenience. Tommy's is located on Mercury Boulevard, just two doors down from Krispy Kreme near Big Bethel Road. The ambiance is like a cozy country café -- welcoming and friendly. You'll probably run into someone you know or haven't seen in a while. It really has that hometown, family-friendly vibe. The staff is always helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable. One suggestion I'd love to see them consider is a shared service model where all waiters and waitresses work together to serve the entire dining room and share tips. I've seen it in other restaurants, and it creates such a smooth experience for the guests. Here are a few things I love about Tommy's: The coffee -- although it can be hit or miss, I personally love it (even if one of my sister-friends doesn't!). The buttered toast -- white or wheat, always served with a nice selection of jellies. The seafood breakfast -- you can order it as a breakfast or lunch meal depending on the sides that you choose. It's big, flavorful, and you'll likely have leftovers. The Tommy's Breakfast -- eggs, your choice of meat, grits or hash browns, and toast or pancakes. The variety -- omelets, steak and eggs, corned beef hash, seafood plates, oatmeal, cereal, and more. Kid-friendly and great for families. They even have a separate back room often used for large gatherings and meetings. If you're from out of town or just haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. The line moves quickly, and it's worth the wait. Tommy's has something for everyone -- it might just become one of your new favorite spots. Hope to see you there!

Yelp
This afternoon I went to Tommy's as i usually do when i come to that side of the water. I always order the catfish breakfast plate. Let me tell you that the hash browns were cold and old tasting. And i ordered scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and there was no cheese and the eggs were hard and luke warm. The fish was wet and not crispy. Side bacon was not fresh and rubbery. The manager named Anna told me it of her mouth that the oil was not got that's why the fish is like that. Offered to take it off only if she takes my plate away and pay for something different. Never in life would i tell a customer that the oil wasn't hot. Also, the server was decent, but he told me that it's so busy that the child are not caring about what the did looks like right now. Like wth!!! Smdh This was a very horrible experience this time around.

Yelp
We went on a Sunday for breakfast and had to wait about 30 minutes. Once in, our server acknowledged that service may be a bit slow due to being short-staffed. That ended up not being the case and we received our food in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was absolutely amazing! I got the fried catfish and it was perfectly seasoned. I can't think of anything that was wrong with our meal.

Yelp
I always love little hometown soul food restaurants. This one does it to the maximum. The food is absolutely delicious. It is well cooked and it is served with a smile. Even though there was a line when we got here, we got in quickly, we were seated and assured that we would have our food soon --they ain't never lied!! Tommy's Restaurant is one of my favorites and I hope it's here for years to come. I have no complaints!

Yelp
Often dine in with my staff/ colleagues for am briefs. This particular morning decided to dine in alone and go over some contracts/ business on conference call while having my breakfast ! Time : 11ish a.m. No line no wait , however simply requested a table that seats four for privacy , then told where I could be seated because 4 seating is for four people. I then stated I will not be long again plenty of seating availability. Then was told you can sit there. Being a business owner, please be present ! Myself and staff will no longer be dining there. Food outstanding staff need to protect the business. Simple / reasonable requests with compliance goes a long way !! Single dining less time and gracious tip along with referrals can be lucrative.. Tip for today ! If there is no patrons there's no revenue !! Tommy "True Story "

Yelp
Sheeeeit! First off I want to give a shout out to my waitress Tiffany who was on point from the time we sat. (Sit on the right side to be served by her ) she was very nice, quick, efficient, fast, friendly and very attentive. And because my adhd forgot who made those waffles...just know he had chef bars . Service was fast and easy to order and the food was affordable. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a good breakfast.

Yelp
Tommy's is a local classic! Highly recommend with the caveat that they only take cash! However the menu prices are so reasonable. The food here is always seasoned very well. I got the catfish and it hit every spot! Our server was Jasmine and she was amazing. Very attentive even though they were very busy! The atmosphere is chatty but cozy. People of all walks of life love to go to Tommy's and if you don't get there early there may be a line outside the door check them out if you're ever in Hampton!

Yelp
The best fried catfish I've ever had. I come here for their fried catfish and have been coming here for years to get it. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and delicious. I eat with grits and eggs. Seriously a dangerous combo.

Yelp
I used to work here, and been coming here for almost 20 years. This place has been a staple in the community and has always been a great value with great service and amazing quick food. Like a hole in the wall but better. They always have a line, but it moves pretty quickly overall. oh and they are cash only, but do have an atm on site. i never used it, but im sure it has an outrageous fee.. I rank my decisions to eat somewhere again as: 1 star - if someone else buys it I won't eat it, I would rather go hungry. 2 star - if I'm hungry, no other options are open and someone buys it - I would consider eating it 3 star - I'm ok with eating it as long as someone else pays 4 star - I will eat again and pay for it and be a semi-regular customer 5 star - I will travel for good food and pay good money and be back on a regular basis and maybe even pay for yours just so we can go

Tai W.

Yelp
Tommy's is always a vibe and fast with great customer service. I love the catfish, eggs are always scrambled hard with cheese perfectly i just can't get enough. I love when I'm on this side!!
google avatar

Eduardo S.

Yelp
What can I say? Stopped here for breakfast the other day. My eggs were runny, the hash browns were raw, the bacon was dripping with grease and I asked for dry toast and got buttered. Why the three stars? The service was phenomenal, plus where can you get a full breakfast with juice for $8.99??

Cher O.

Yelp
Local Southern Cooking at its finest. A local favorite. Grits, corned beef hash, Fried Catfish.

Raed P.

Yelp
Food wasn't something to write home about and it was just as hot inside as it was outside, service was great

Quincy H.

Yelp
Tommy's food is incredible. It is always crowded because its just that good. I know they like to keep it simple but if they added a virtual waitlist or a number system so you don't have to stay crammed in the narrow hallway while you wait it would be an even better experience. Lastly, please, please, please take credit!! You can add the fee to the bill, if need be, but cash is no longer convenient. I will always come for the food but nothing wrong with taking my experience up a notch!

Yelp
During a weekend trip to Newport News Tommy's was highly recommended by a few locals. I was looking for a country style breakfast with all of the fixing. This place was jammed packed and very nostalgic. It's like stepping back into the 90's. Expect to wait to be seated 15-20 and bring cash. They don't accept cards and they have a free ATM located inside the restaurant. I ordered corned beef hash, eggs, and toast. My husband ordered pancakes, bacon and eggs. It didn't wow me! The food didn't taste any different from what I cook at home. The workers were very pleasant and attentive for saying how packed it was.
google avatar

Yelp
Tommy's gives you the best band for your buck! The sweet potato pancakes as well as the plain pancakes were amazing. Thank you for Overall great breakfast and great value!
google avatar

L S.

Yelp
Perfect home cooked breakfast spot. The food and customer service is awesome. However I'm giving 4 stars. The coffee is disgusting this was my second visit, so I know it's not how the coffee was made. And it's 2024 c'mon w the "cash only". No one wants to pay you in ATM FEES. Just get w the times please
google avatar

Jesselyn A.

Yelp
They need to update and start taking different forms of payment. Also a remodel wouldn't hurt or even picking up the phone or online ordering would be great. I love their food but I seriously recommend these changes.
google avatar

Renea W.

Yelp
I took my child to Tommy's for their first experience there. I have always loved this place. They ordered breakfast after a short wait to get seated. The main entree came out without the side items or bread. My child ate all the meal and thought the hasbrowns were undercooked. The waitress finally brought out the fried apples which neither of us could eat. They had a funny taste. And after a little while the bread finally arrived. We were rushed to give our order, the meal came out in bits and my child never wants to go back. Now I had a lunch meal and it was very good, but I doubt I will take my child there ever again.

Jayleen H.

Yelp
Tommy's is truly a great restaurant for taste, simplicity, and affordability! You get a wide variety menu, decent portion sizes, good flavor, cleanly, affordable, and great hospitality by staff. The ambiance of the restaurant is quite an old southern feel (most similar comparison Cracker Barrel) with a bit of a tighter spacing but nothing to deter you from going! It's always popping on the weekends so make sure you plan ahead!
google avatar

Latasha H.

Yelp
I love the ambiance. Extremely relaxing, clean, family friendly inviting diner. They have a great variety of menu options for food. We didn't experience a long wait maybe 10 minutes but it was worth it. Let me tell you the grits, sweet potato pancakes, hotcakes, steak, French toast, fried cod are delicious. But don't limit yourself that too because this menu has everything. Even the butter toast they offer for the table is good. Awesome customer service. The young lady was amazing. Prompt, efficient and attentive. Must try spot and it will be your new breakfast spot. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Yelp
Looks are sometimes deceiving... Stopped by here at lunchtime on a whim; we were going somewhere else nearby but Tommy's had a full parking lot. Walked in and place was full, one group ahead of us. Looking around, place seemed a little worn, not particularly cleaned or polished. However wait staff was friendly, quick and efficient. Menu had plenty of options, with emphasis on breakfast/brunch items. Wife had traditional 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon and pancakes while I had a gyro omelette. Service was prompt, food was excellent and prices were reasonable. Overall, place kind of reminds me of a traditional diner crossed with an ihop, but without the chain franchise aspect. All-in-all, a great value and we'll be back.
google avatar

Cherie O.

Yelp
Cross between an IHOP and a Mom and Pop diner without the franchise. Fast service and good food at reasonable prices. Place was packed yet the servers were hopping and smiling. I got the Tommy's combo breakfast of two pancakes, bacon, hash browns, two eggs done over medium, and fried apples. Hubs had the healthier choice of gyro omelette. Yummy. Will be back. Btw they only take cash.
google avatar

Carlos A.

Yelp
Great food! Always packed. However, they need to renovate and invest back into this business. The furniture is old and coming apart and it smells awful. It has a strong smell of old carpet. It smells like a wet damp mildew basement all the time. I stopped going because it flairs up my allergies. I never understood why restaurants keep carpet in the eating areas, or anywhere for that matter. They are just making money without any plans to update and put back into their establishment. Very sad. My family have moved on to another breakfast place.
google avatar

Anika W.

Yelp
Tommy's is a staple in the Newport News community. Anytime I go there is always a long line of people waiting to be seated and they're willing to wait because it's worth it. The food feels and tastes like family cooked jt and the the service is kind and genuine. This establishment is traditional and only accepts cash so be prepared to have some on hand or use the atm.
google avatar

Micaela R.

Yelp
Ordered take-out today because I've heard so many good things about this ma and pop place. My food was great and it comes in large portions. My French toast was amazing and fresh and my eggs were great (I threw in a little more cheese). The service was great!
google avatar

Yelp
THE ONLY TAKE CASH....rule #1 Rule #2 bring your patience on Sunday after church service this place gets busy... Food was excellent everything was delicious, came with a large party and every order was perfect.. awesome mom&pop place with that diner vibe

Yelp
I went here a few weeks ago. I have been here multiple times before, but i had not provided a review. It had been a few years since the last time that I had been here. It is a cash only establishment and it is not very large, but it is very popular. Each time I have ventured here it has been packed. There was a line this time, too. In the past, they would take names and have a wait time. This time they had a line and you just told how many in your party. The line seemed long, but it moves rather quickly. What seemed like it could be an hour wait was truly about 15-20 minutes. Although I have only ordered breakfast, they do serve lunch. They close at 3PM. We were seated and drinks orders were taken shortly after. I was able to order something I actually had a taste for. It was one if the specials for the day, a gyro omelette. It was delicious. A very generous helping of gyro meat along with tomatoes and feta cheese. I ordered turkey sausage and turkey bacon. The omelette came with side options and I chose home fries and toast. It was all so good. It was so much. I didnt even think I would finish the omelette and meats, but I managed to do so. I love that you get more than your money's worth. You aren't even paying a lot of money, in the first place. I will definitely go back again when I am in the area. I am hoping it won't be years from now.
google avatar

Neia F.

Yelp
We love tommys the food was so good and the portions are good! The only thing always have an issue with is the wait it is always sooo long, even to go took forever otherwise good food and only one time a waitress/cashier was rude she seemed like she didn't want to be at work. She even argued with kitchen staff loudly in front of us. And don't really the fact you can only use cash
google avatar

Cat R.

Yelp
**CASH ONLY** But there is an ATM inside. This place is always busy whenever I go, with good reason. The service is pretty quick so the wait is never too long. Parking is the only part that can get a bit tricky. The food is amazing though! I love the pecan pancakes - they are enormous and delicious!!!! The omelettes are the same. The inside makes you feel like you're at home so even though it's crazy busy inside and there's a lot of movement, you don't feel rushed to eat your food quickly then leave. The servers are so sweet, nice and attentive. I feel like really anything that you could order would be pretty good and decently priced. If you have never been here, give it a try and stop by!
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
Tommy's is a great breakfast/lunch place! It is not fancy, but it is one of the best breakfast places in town. We went for the breakfast approach with a simple two egg, hash browns and grits with wheat toast. I selected the turkey sausage as my meat and it was delicious. They have an extensive menu with many lunch options. Our server was really nice and she made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. The prices were also great! My wife and I had our lunch (breakfast items). With drinks for under $25. The place it a little dated, but very clean and very welcoming. I would recommend this as a great stop of for breakfast in the Newport News/Hampton area.

Emily G.

Yelp
Fast, super affordable, and delicious! Have been going here for years! The servers are attentive and kind. It reminds me so much of the diners my grandparents took me to as a kid!
google avatar

Yelp
Great Food Friendly Atmosphere They made my food in a nice time frame and it was hot amd seasoned
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
I've lived in this area my whole life and just found out about Tommy's. Went out with my work team as we pick a different restaurant every month. They are always hopping but they were able to accommodate our 8 person table in minutes. The portions are huge, food is delicious and the service was phenomenal. Great price for what you get too!! Food just comes out as it's made but that worked fine for us. Can't wait to try something else on the menu.
google avatar

Yvette B.

Yelp
I ordered takeout before work and the food here was absolutely terrible. Everyone spoke so highly of this place, so I had high hopes and was highly disappointed. I had the combination with pancakes, hash browns, grits, eggs, and sausage. The pancakes were the only decent items on the plate. Everything else lacked seasoning and was plain disgusting. The service was great, but the food sucked so I would definitely not recommend.

Yelp
Tommy's is a staple of Hampton, Virginia and has been around for as long as I can remember, and for good reason. There's no bells and whistles when it comes to their food; however, their food is just good! The catfish breakfast was everything. Scrambled eggs were fluffy, potatoes were cooked just right, and the basket of toast was nice and buttered. The catfish was mad flavorful and piping hot; in addition, Tommy's has 3 different kinds of hot sauce at every table, so they really know what's up. Service was super fast, friendly, and easy. I have never seen tables flipped so fast. All in all, Tommy's is a much better alternative for an American style breakfast in Hampton when compared to similar chain restaurants. Psssssst ... get the catfish breakfast!
google avatar

Lyn J.

Yelp
Ok I've been eating here for decades. This is one of the only true diners left in Hampton Roads. Amazing food. Great service. Always crowded. And the YiYi st the register will keep you in line. No saggy pants allowed on anyone over 5 years old. Btw leave your plastics at home. They accept cash and checks only.
google avatar

Dhillon W.

Yelp
I've been going to Tommy's for almost 10 years now. I don't live in the area but I have family that lives nearby. I always get the Tommy's Combination Breakdast which consists of two pancakes, two eggs, and your choice of breakfast meats. The service is always good. The waiters and waitresses that I have are always kind to me. You need to come here for breakfast if you live in the area!
google avatar

Food L.

Yelp
I'm new to the area and saw this place had great reviews and wanted to try it out. The waitress was nice and the breakfast was fine, it does taste homemade. But I wish I was told that they didn't take cards. I don't carry cash, so I had to use the ATM which made my food very expensive due to all the fees. Most likely not coming back since I don't keep cash and I felt like I should've been told they don't take it.

Yelp
Visiting the sis, and she had suggested grabbing breakfast at Waffle House. I asked if we could try out something local instead, and we ended up at Tommy's. Glad we did. The restaurant is a diner-type spot with an extensive breakfast menu of both the traditional (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes) as well as the more unique (shrimp and grits). They also offer a lunch menu if you're showing up later in the day. I got an order of French toast, eggs over easy, Virginia ham, and grits. I especially enjoyed the Virginia ham (better flavor than ham I usually have at breakfast) as well as the grits (which restaurants have a tendency to make as soggy). The service was also incredibly polite and enthusiastic, with the entire place giving off a "Cheers"-vibe with lots of locals and where everyone knows your name. A couple things to note before visiting, though: 1) Restaurant is cash only. They have an ATM at the entrance to help with this, but just know you won't be able to use any kind of card here. 2) Capacity is currently limited due to covid restrictions. Pair that with the place's popularity, and you're looking at a line and decent wait times before being seated. We waited about 15 minutes before getting in, and when we did get seated, the line behind us was almost out the door. Neither of those two things, though, could seriously detract from a great experience. So if you have cash and are not in a rush, Tommy's is well worth a morning stop.

Yelp
I am not from the area and since there's no official website, no where on Google or anywhere on their doors or windows does it say they do not accept credit cards! Thanks to my extreme preparedness, I had just about enough cash to pay for my food. And yes, I did see an ATM but I never carry a bank card, just a regular credit card so that wouldn't have helped either. There was a long line in the lobby as I entered but was seated quickly once I walked in. The waitress did not arrive until almost 15 mins later. She had a very nasty attitude, no hi, hello, My name is so and so, I'll be your waitress, etc just starts off saying, "What do you want to drink?" Ordered coffee and pancakes and pancakes were burnt. I mean burnt chocolate chips as well and the entire bottom was burnt and did not taste well at all. I ate very little and a little while later, the waitress came and put the check on the table. She again, did not have the courtesy to ask if I wanted a box (seeing a good 70 percent of pancake still left on my plate!) never asked for a coffee refill, never asked how everything was. I honestly don't like to be back to a place where people act like they're doing me a favor by working there. I would have most definitely given this place a second chance if either the food or the service was good but since both were down the drain, I won't be back.

Yelp
Place only takes cash in 2023!!! The owner insists the employees sweep the lobby area while patrons are eating... not only it's the use of a broom on carpet can shift up any allergens/dust they may lie in the carpet. Maybe consider investing in a motor less vacuum or just wait until your patrons are done eating..Just a suggestion

Yelp
Pancakes and hash browns are undercooked. I was given two orders of undercooked hashbrowns instead of one side of hashbrowns and one side of turkey bacon. I had to argue with the lady over a side of biscuits and gravy because she kept trying to give me the meal when I only asked for a SIDE of biscuits and a SIDE of gravy. That's $4 vs the $9 meal. The biscuits are so hard I cannot cut through them with the plastic knife. The over medium eggs I ordered are watery and the whites are barely cooked. They only accept cash. Food is NOT seasoned AT ALL. I will never eat here again.

Yelp
April 29 i arrived at 8:30am to find this place almost full to capacity. I ordered the catfish with eggs and hash browns. The food was tasty. The next time I go i will try the steak. I was totally unaware that i needed cash in this paperless society. Shout out to the very tall employee (i should have asked his name) he paid for my breakfast! What an amazing person to have on staff! Cash Only resturant

Yelp
First time visiting and a lifetime customer. By the parking lot, it was apparent this restaurant is a staple in the community. We were a party of 6 and our wait was approximately 30 minutes on a Friday morning. The staff were nice and did not rush their patrons to complete their meals. However the staff were very quick to clear tables to seat the next patron which is always a plus. On the suggestion of one member of our party, I ordered the sweet potato pancake, eggs, a side order of bacon and of course sweet tea. Husband ordered eggs with cheese, sausage and toast. Our meals all came out approximately at the same time. The sweet potato pancake was delish! However it was big enough for two and I should've shared with other member of our party. Way too much for one person. Only downside? I never received my bacon . Restaurant only accepts cash. I would recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
The food was delicious. I ordered a lot lol and was not disappointed at all. The waitress was nice and since it was my first time there she made a few suggestions on what to order. The restaurant was a little small but it was clean and no tables were empty so that spoke volumes about the food.
