Absolutely love this place! Their Saab sandwiches are fresh, fast, and incredibly delicious every time. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. I also appreciate how they keep the menu interesting with unique options and seasonal twists. It’s become one of my go-to spots—highly recommend!

Google
We love this restaurant and have eaten here for 12 years. However, it seems like they have. We've been reducing the amount of meat on their sandwiches over the last couple of years. The last two times i've gone there. It seems like there's about 2 of of me on the philly and the french dip. It's literally all bun these days. Delicious, but you need to pay for double meat to make it like it used to be. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be going back since they charge a premium price, but give you half the meat.

Google
After getting 2 recommendations from locals for the same sandwich shop i just had to try Tommy's. I had the Banh Mi and it was really good. I will say it's not the same Banh Mi I've had in the east coast, it's different but still quite tasty! The vibe is like a 50's diner but all brought up to date. Definitely give it a try you will not be disappointed!

In the middle of a food desert. Near the Home Depot off of Quincy in morrison. Tommy's Subs is an oasis of deliciousness. The ribeye Philly cheese steak diabolically delicious. I highly recommend eating here!

You've got to visit if you can! Not only is the food good, the decor is outstanding if you love Rock & Roll.

Google
Picked up a few subs before a race the other day, staff was friendly and service was fast. I got a loaded turkey with added bacon, was a little iffy on their house relish/pepper mixture but I’m so glad I got it! The sandwich was so good, nothing crazy, just fresh and delicious! Something I was so impressed with was how even though we waited an hour to eat them, the bread was NOT soggy!!! Was still fresh and tasted as if it was just made!

Google
I love this place. I have been going here since I was a kid. But why aren't they open until at least 7pm on the weekends? Closing at 2pm on a Friday?! And 4pm Saturday and Sunday?! I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to grab a sandwich on the way to a Red Rocks concert only to remember they close early during what could arguably be a really profitable time for them. Totally understandable to close early on a Sunday but the Friday and Saturday closing times are absolutely ridiculous.

I swung in here while passing through town and I'm so glad I did! We ordered the reuben and the roast beef and cheddar (fully loaded). Fresh ingredients, great bread, excellent service. Will definitely be coming by again next time we pass.

Yelp
Been a while yall!! I've just been a busy grannie lol yup my oldest had their first a couple months ago ! How excitin' !! Anyways - the Cuban was SOOO yummy !! The hubby had a Ban Me and that was good but I liked mine better but he liked the ban me better. Didn't take pics bc we were sooo hungry lol
google avatar

Yelp
I had to go to Morrison to pick up a porcelain umbrella stand. Did not have time for breakfast, so was delighted to find Tommy's Subs!! Was sorely tempted by the Cubano. But ordered a chicken Philly cheesesteak with grilled onions and mushrooms. YUM!!! It cane with a side of hot marinara sauce--that was different--and a spicy pepper relish. Both are AWESOME. Pepper relish has a nice bite. I did eat some of the bread. It's soft, not as chewy as Pat's. Service is friendly and cheerful. It's a good-sized, no-frills, very Colorado space. They don't have any hot drinks, like coffee or tea, but have a nice selection of bottled and fountain drinks. On a Saturday, the joint was hopping, lol. Clearly a local favorite, and I see why. I'm debating getting the Cubano to go. I only finished half my Philly chicken, and am stuffed!

Yelp
This place has been around since I was a kid. It was amazing for many years. I know it's changed hands a couple times, and I'm not sure who the owner is now. It's also been a while since I've been here as I moved out of town for a few years. I was so excited to get another Tommy's sub the other day. I can truly say I was saddened by what has happened to Tommy's. I ordered my usual Italian Cosmo, and pardon the expression, but you could literally "read braille" through the amount of meat they put on the sandwich. Picture provided so you know I'm not exaggerating. The place is still clean and inviting, but wow, the food has gone so downhill so sad.

Yelp
Meh, sub standard subs and a bit of a toxic owner or GM. It might be ok in a bind, but there are other places you can find.

Zach Z.

Yelp
Just sad. We have been coming here forever, and it seems it has changed hands a few times. Whoever owns it now has a lot of work to do. We hadn't been here in a few months we're looking forward to going today and boy what a disappointment. Barely any meat in my sandwich, the cheese definitely tasted "off" and the signature thick bread wasn't toasted as it's supposed to be. I wish I would have checked before I left so I can get my money back. Jersey mikes is better than this l, and that's salting a lot. It's truly sad, end of an era, death of some childhood memories. I don't think I can ever go back.

Yelp
It's gotten tough here. Like many I've been coming here for years and over the past year specifically it's been pretty brutal. I've tried to give Jeff time to figure out the perpetual staffing issues but it is tough to get over poor sandwich making and an I couldn't give two sh%#'s attitude when they perpetually screw up the order. The 6' guy with glasses Jeff entrusts is a total zero. He complained when I came 25 minutes to go before closing. They've screwed up a Pastrami Sammy order consistently for a year. Pastrami, sauerkraut and mustard. Simple yet they ALWAYS put their thousand island and cheese on it. Huh? And THEY get pissed when you point out they made it wrong...again. Not a good outlook for future success when an owner: 1) has customer-facing people who outwardly don't give a shu% 2) have to often close early because of 'staffing issues' along with perpetual turnover 3) himself makes a sandwich on day old, almost stale bread, with 1/4 of the meat that should be on there. It was 11:30 and not at all busy 4) prices aren't 'cheap' Like many I love the small business. But if an owner still CAN'T figure out a way to train and retain employees, master making subs, and know how to treat all customers like they're valued they shouldn't own a business, especially one that has the word SUBS as part of the name.

Abigail P.

Yelp
Waste of money I worked here for two years. Used to be much better but the stars are very rude and aggressive. I ordered a Jamaican jerk sandwich with avacado for an extra 3$. Got home and the sandwich was drenched in sauce no avocados the meat was grinded up and fatty. It's supposed to come with STRIPS of chicken not sloppy Joe consistency grease balls. Called back to see if I could get store credit because they have done that for years! The guy was super aggressive and rude over the phone and said he would just refund it and hung up. Extremely poor customer service. Jeff is a great owner but these staff are way out of control

Yelp
We had Tommy's Subs cater for a party of 40. The variety and quality of subs was SPECTACULAR!!! Each sub was wrapped and labeled. Super fresh and ready when we picked up! They provided amazing condiments etc!!! EVERYONE commented on the quality of the subs etc! We can't wait to use them again for future events, in the mean time we will frequent them again!!

Regina M.

Yelp
My husband and I went there today for the first time, we ordered the italiano sandwiches very delicious. We will be back again. Very friendly service and very knowledgeable about the food. Clean restaurant.

Gael P.

Yelp
Great customer service! but unfortunately the food is not good at all and the price is not worth this place at all, place is all raggedy and dirty i'd rather eat at mcdonald's.Health inspectors should be called on this place FOOD IS DISGUSTING! i wouldn't even recommend this place to my worse enemy.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Had to pick up some cupcakes next door and decided to grab a sandwich from Tommy's. They opened pretty early that day which worked out and decided to go with their roast beef special. Not my favorite of their sandwiches, but when you put it on one of their soft and crispy rolls it automatically becomes awesome.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. My girlfriend and I go every time we are on the way home from a hike and it never disappoints. Every sandwich I've gotten has been fresh flavorful and absolutely worth it.
google avatar

Papa B.

Yelp
Best subs in town. Everything is fresh and homemade. The sraff is amazing and friendly. The subs are amazing and huge .I love the meatball sub and the tuna sub they are fresh and delicious. Great staff and great subs

Bill R.

Yelp
My last visit! it was more like a lettuce sandwich, than anything else. The meat isn't but 1/4 inch thick. NOT WORTH IT!!! I NEVER, EVER promote chains, but "Mike's Subs" AT LEAST HAVE A LOT MORE meat on them, than Tommy's. Years go Tommy's made outstanding subs....but not anymore.

Enmar H.

Yelp
Awful service mediocre sandwich. Got our order wrong and then we had to prove that all three sandwiches had mayonnaise on them by showing the employee who was arguing with us. She was visibly upset, but luckily another employee stepped in and made the sandwich correctly with no mayo. Not worth the $35 or lack of respect from the employees.

Michael T.

Yelp
Awesome mom & pop deli, always great sandwiches! The cheesesteak is a little different but delicious!! Definitely a hidden gem!!
google avatar

Jeannie A.

Yelp
I have no idea how this place is still in business the old Tommy, the original Tommy subs was the jam but the new one or these new owners( I think it changed hands like three times) not so much.
google avatar

Linda S.

Yelp
Excellent everything. Husband is a cheesesteak snob from Philadelphia and he can't wait to get back. I had a club-loved it Bread was crazy fresh, and meat was the freshest ever. We were really excited about the prices

Tom M.

Yelp
Fantastic as always........... Been there MANY times and will continue dining there..... Always friendly and BUSY!!!!!

Scott L.

Yelp
Will never go back. They completely jacked up order. For one of the sandwiches they put cheese on it after we said that my daughter cannot eat cheese. It comes with cheese on it. We send it back and it comes back to us with some cheese still on it. Employee admits that they tried to scrape it off. I told the employee how inappropriate that was and he says OK with an attitude. I have tried reaching out to ownership a couple times in the past but still have not heard back.

Jessica B.

Yelp
I usually like this place, but I think it changed ownership. They charged $1 extra for doing meat and cheese only but gave so little filling it's hardly even a sandwich. The other I got is mostly only lettuce and tomato. Definitely not worth the money.
google avatar

Ty S.

Yelp
I literally threw away half the bun and it was still too much bread for the amount of meat given. Other than that the sandwich was average. Nice staff. Good service.

Jim P.

Yelp
this place is a joke! Iv been eating here since Tommy owned it and it wa great. Then the two gals owned , still great and the the third owner still really good. The owner of this place wouldn't know an Italian sandwich if it hit he in the face! Heres what you get 1 piece of ham folded over 1 piece of cheese. folder over. Lols a d lots and lots of lettuce and bread. Definitely not Italian if you want a great sandwich go next door to 5281 Bruno knows how to do it.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Nice local sub shop, but so far they are batting 100% on ignoring my request for no mayo. Mayo ruins every sandwich for me, so I havent really been able to enjoy anything I've purchased. I'll keep trying I guess

Jim F.

Yelp
My wife and I new Tommy and Susan when they owned the shop. Great sign in the window."Sorry we do not provide a no smoking section" ! Ordered 3 sandwiches. Very little meat and too much bread. We are not sure if they changed their recipe for the bread or not. Ended up throwing most of it out! I hope they read these reviews. Tommy's was always are go to in the past and we would like for it to continue this way.
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
Yelped this place and we decided to stop in to grab our subs to go. 2-Italian-1-Turkey Bacon...bread a little much, personally prefer a less doughy roll. The lettuce had a weird flavor and the tomato's weren't the best. However, the overall subs were good and if I was back on that side I'd likely try a hot sub.
google avatar

Debbie L.

Yelp
Great food very fresh great bread fast fun service and good specials easy in and out nice staff and very clean ! Love Tommoys subs
google avatar

Melanie C.

Yelp
A real sub shop!!! Fresh bread. Great ingredients. Fabulous waitstaff. My only "complaint" is that they are popular which means having to wait to nosh. I got the Club: turkey and ham with all the fixins

Christina A.

Yelp
As always everything was on point. Ordered online and my sandwich was made exactly like I asked.

Ben S.

Yelp
I've lived in Morrison for 25 yrs, that said Tommys has horrible service, they butchered my order after I gave them 20% tip for taking my order. When I went back to get correct order a sandwich artist yelled at me. I highly recommend going somewhere else for good service.
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Tommy's really is the bombys! If you're looking to support a Colorado local business while simultaneously having the best sub of your life .. come here! Just make sure you get here before 3pm (they close at 3 everyday which is infuriating because it just makes me crave their subs even more!) I recommend their signature CBR but you really can't go wrong with any of their subs. They have an 8" and a 12" option on their subs which means you'll have leftovers .. assuming you won't help yourself from devouring the sub in one sitting!!
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
Forgot to take a pic, but I love the French dip sandwich. It hits the spot and I highly recommend if you're fan of au jus!

Sierra E.

Yelp
Eh, after 12 years of loyalty I finally have to call it quits here. Just not the great sandwich shop it used to be. Meatballs seem like frozen ones, sandwich is mostly bread, and all the cool ambiance is gone. Gave it too many shots to waste another meal hoping it'll be good anymore. Service leaves you wishing for the old owner's wife, who was not very pleasant but jeez, at least she'd look people in the eye.

Kashmira P.

Yelp
Yummy Sammie's ! Our favorite go to subs !!! What would be fab is delivery option. Homemade Pepper RelishItalian Sandwiches
google avatar

Nic F.

Yelp
There's a reason Tommy's has been open for so long. The service is friendly and the subs are great. I get Tommy's as often as I am around it for lunch.

John Michael L.

Yelp
This place is the perfect example of what makes small local business the best! They have the best Philly I have ever had, and the place just feels like home. In a world of chain restaurants, it is a pleasure to spend your money at a place like this
google avatar

Nick K.

Yelp
Best sub shop in Colorado. I've been going to Tommy's for a long time and I've never been so hooked on a Philly Cheese steak sandwich! You have to try it with Marinara and hot peppers! But you can't go wrong with any of the food!

Dan D.

Yelp
Good subs and good service. Would like to see pepperjack cheese as an option though and they have a meatball sub but no mozzarella which is weird. So to the owner, put mozzarella on your meatball sub and have pepperjack cheese and I will give 5 stars

Jessica H.

Yelp
food is decent, but the cook with glasses, tall and blonde-ish hair is real unpleasant. I picked up what I thought was my order (literally the same two sandwiches I ordered.) he proceeded to tell me it wasn't ready, and that they were making a third sandwich. this was when realized I made a mistake and apologized and put the wrapped up order back down on the counter. I was told "it would be nice if you just wait until your name is called before coming up here."several other customers standing near me were shocked with the attitude I was thrown for a simple mistake: I had some words for him after that. like you make sandwiches for a living bud, it's not that big. Won't be back while he still works there.
google avatar

Dee A.

Yelp
I've lived in Littleton for 26 years and have been driving all the way to Snarfs just to get a decent sub. Oh man, I have seriously been missing out!! Tommy's is SO freaking good, and I'm a total sub snob! Their Philly is absolutely delicious and so was their Cuban. I can't wait to go back and stuff my face with the Italian. Even their pickles are delicious! And they do not skimp whatsoever on the meat like most places, these subs were stuffed full of delicious meat! Oh, and I had their rocky road brownie which was freaking amazing!! Definitely check this place out! So happy I found it!
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
The breakfast burritos can only be described as nasty, truly. One star for them. Small for $3.79, overcooked egg, a few flakes of cheese, some spuds and then peppers and onions (ya really should put on the menu that they are included). No green chili inside, dry, crumbly and lacking taste. I have not tried the other breakfast offerings nor will I. Ok, now for the subs. We to have been going here for years and there has been a noticeable decline in quality of the subs with the new owners. Bread is a problem as is the them moving too quickly, quality suffers with speed. Better than chains but just not what made them so popular. One positive is you can easily get parking there now!
google avatar

Holly S.

Yelp
A few years ago this place was delicious. Went to try it again and it's not the same. The bread is not good. Too much bread and it's very dry. The employees were even checking the bread and tossing what was too hard. The wait time is nuts! They definitely need a new system in place. Many people were waiting for long periods of time. They definitely need to go back to their squishy bread!
google avatar

Brent J.

Yelp
Stellar, just stellar. I visit this strip mall every month or so for teaching at a next-door business, and it's an hour drive. I don't mind the drive because I know I can get me some Tommy's. I always get the Cubano. Maybe I should branch out more, but it's so good I'm afraid to try anything else. Everything about this place is great: staff, food, everything. I think the Asian guy I often see is the owner, and even during the lunch rush he is supporting his employees, greeting customers, rushing around making everything work. This is truly a great place, with a great vibe.

Greg P.

Yelp
Less friendly than the previous owners, not nearly as pleasant. New owners should have a pep rally for the employees! however the food is still quality.
google avatar

Loni R.

Yelp
Delicious turkey sub! I haven't had a legit sub sandwich like that in years. The vinegar "special pepper" is what makes it! Good price--except the cookies. I got a peanut butter cup cookie for $2.50. It was delicious but probably wouldn't pay 2.50 for it again. Also got the bottled root beer since I had never heard of that brand before. It was pretty good. I highly recommend stopping here if you are visiting the Dinosaur Ridge park or just passing by. It's right off the interstate.
google avatar

Kristin ..

Yelp
Used to frequent here but their subs and quality is just not the same since the place sold a couple of years ago. Definitely a go to over a chain but not the best sandwich shop in Denver like it used to be.
google avatar

T.J. Y.

Yelp
Just tried the rib sandwich special. Would have been amazing except every other bite had bones in it. I ended up having to spit it out and almost broke my teeth. I posted a tip to stick to the Philly or French dip and skip everything else. I didn't take my own advice. I wanted to branch out and give their new stuff a try and suffered for it.
google avatar

Amber W.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious subs... my new go to place for a sandie. The bread is amazing!! The ingredients are fresh and it just tastes damn yummy!!
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
I love Tommy's Sub. The foot long Italian is great. Plus they have Mello Yello, which is surprisingly hard to find. Plus there's good music and everyone who works there is very nice.
