Really great Thai restaurant. I had the pad kee mao, and it was easily among the best I’ve had. The staff was quick, efficient, and very friendly. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere; clean, bright, and comfortable, with large windows overlooking the road. Despite nearby road construction, it’s still easy to access the adjacent parking lot. Highly recommend, and I’m looking forward to coming back!

We had a few different dishes: pow pad pra kow, drunken noodles, pineapple curry. We all definitely loved the food and drinks. I did get thai hot and it was a good balance of heat and flavor. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Tommy’s Thai is hands down the best Thai restaurant in Denver! The food is always top-notch, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home every time. The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place for a casual lunch or a special dinner. I can’t recommend it enough, this is truly a Denver gem!

Nice ambience with views on the road traffic. Restaurant is clean and they disinfect each table thoroughly after guests left. Would prefer the tables with social distancing. The food is tasty and healthy. Neither it’s oily nor salty, is a good blend of the flavor. Personally I like the stuffed meat chicken wings. Unique flavor with fresh lettuce served as a starter. Will visit again.

The food and service are both excellent here. There are a lot of good Thai places around, but this one has some unique aspects to it. Their eggrolls, for one, are very different from anything I've ever had. They're like a mix between the new york style Chinese eggroll and a spring roll, with a filling that screams fresh vegetables. They serve them with fish sauce and a spicy mustard that winks at the crossover. We ordered the panang curry, Thai hot, and pad Thai, mild. The panag curry was wondeful, with a great consistency and a peanut flavor that wasnt too sweet. The spicyness of the panag was there, but could have been even spicier. The pad Thai was some of the best in this region, with fresh vegetables and a good balance of flavors. Our server was very friendly, making sure we got everything we needed. We will be coming back to try the massman and pad see ewe, for sure.

Amazing service and food. Everyone there was very sweet, we never felt rushed even though we were the last ones in the restaurant, and the food was phenomenal!! Highly recommend for all of your Thai food needs

Solid Thai takeout. Thai is a competitive market, and I'll be honestly isnt my number 1 in Denver. But thats not to say it isnt good. We ordered the standards, Pad Thai and Pad See Ew, because it was my wife's birthday and thats what she wanted. I would definitely come back to see how their other dishes are, but these were solid. We also got some dumplings and Id say the dessert combo is a must. We didnt dine in so It wouldnt be fair to jusge ambiance, but it seem cozy and cute. Its unfortunate that they be right there construction is happening literally on their doorstep and for that reason I strongly encourage people to go here over other options (even my number 1, Alloy, or Daughter) because you wont be disappointed and we need to support our local businesses, especially when the city is putting these roadblocks in their way.

The lady at this restaurant was sooooo sweet. Sadly, the pad Thai was below the quality I was hoping for. The sauce was very thin and liquid-y, so it felt like the noodles were soaked in a mini broth. The flavour was not that great, and I really like pad Thai. I did like how it came with both chicken and shrimp. It was $20, and I finished my portion with some effort. I got the medium spice level to challenge myself as I am very wimpy with spice, but it was surprisingly barely spicy. My friend got the drunken noodles with the hot spice level, but she should've gotten Thai hot because it was barely spicy for her, and she had to dump a crazy amount of chili powder to make it an acceptable level of spice.

If you see a bad review, just ignore it and come here! This place is around the corner from my home and I'm so sad I haven't been here yet. Everything was amazing. I always get Drunken Noodles and this is one of the best I've had in Denver. And the carb wontons are amazing! The space is much more spacious than I realized and the service was also fantastic. Highly recommend!

The food here was just ok. I thought the Tom kha was very good but I would've loved some cilantro or rice on the side with it. The pad see ew was pretty good. It was the Panang curry that brought the ranking down, it was just as watery as the soup and it was extremely lacking in flavor, there were also no vegetables in it, just the chicken and some Thai basil. Service was fine, and the inside of the restaurant is really nothing special.

Tommy's is my favorite thai place! Been going here since 2000 when they were located in an old KFC that was more like a shack than a restaurant and they only took cash. In 2002, they built this gorgeous new building and have been serving the best thai food there ever since. I love picking up take out or dining in. Parking can be a bit crazy during the construction on Colfax in summer 2025 but don't let that deter you! Take 13th or 14th to get there and there is parking on Cool. You will be so happy you did!

The egg rolls are double fried and definitely a must try! My favorite dish is the pineapple curry, but you can't go wrong with anything here! The staff are very friendly.

Best Thai food I have had in Denver so far! Came on a Tuesday evening date night. There were quite a few people in the restaurant and the servers were on top of it. Both were very friendly and brought out the food quick. Cute spot for a dinner date or to even go solo! *Parking is quite challenging though Ordered the springs rolls which were quite unique. Honestly not sure I would get that again, but the shrimp Pad See Yew was to die for! The peanut sauce was also delicious. Didn't quite hit that five stars for me (especially with the sticky table) but I am hoping to come back and try a few more things that hit the five stars! Looking forward to coming back and highly recommend. Overall, 4/5 stars!

Solid curry! I ordered hot, and while I could do hotter I think it was pretty perfect for me. Friendly staff and very speedy food. Everyone at my table was happy with their order (and we had 5 different things!)

The service we had on a fields night out was fantastic!! And the food - OMG!! I tried to gonna j the next day but they were closed, darn it! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Denver!

Its just okay! I heard people raving about the pineapple curry and i had to try. The broth was good but i found the chicken dry and vegtables lacking. They also did charge my card twice when I split the bill with a friend. One charge for the split bill and one for the whole bill. Im sorry I cheated on my regular thai place

Solid Thai restaurant that is great for both dining in and ordering take out. My favorite dish is the Thai fried rice with chicken, especially the version with pineapple. It's the perfect blend of sweet, savory and spicy

Got food from here for take out with friends. I got the pineapple fried rice - it was excellent, I have been continuing to enjoy the leftovers. My go-to thai place in Denver doesn't have pineapple fried rice, so I'm really happy to find a place that has it. Hoping to try more of the menu to see if the other dishes live up to that one!

Still the best pineapple curry in town. A perfect flavor and delicious!! Our service was so great. She was attentive and super help! I highly recommend trying it out!!

Standard Thai dishes but almost no flavor at all. Had to add chili paste and soy sauce to enjoy it even a little. Portion was ok, service was good, atmosphere was pretty comfortable. There are just so many good Thai options with really good food, wouldn't go back here.

We haven't eaten here in quite some time but the last time we had a good experience. This time, it seems like we got punked or something. We ordered eggrolls, Satay, pad thai, Pla Rad Prig (deep fried catfish), and the Pad Prig Khing (stir fried green beans). - Eggrolls were undercooked. - Satay tasted like cardboard chicken - Pad thai was too spicy for my wife. She ordered medium. - Green beans were undercooked - Catfish was so small I thought it was a guppy. Also overcooked. For the price of these dishes, we expected better. I mean, we had better last time we ate here.

I ordered take out.. The bill was a little over $30 which for me at lunch is a little expensive. The order was good size though. I had Tom Yum Goon soup and Pad Thai with shrimp and chicken. It was the BEST Thai food I have had in my life and I have had a lot! So many flavors put together perfectly. Man I couldn't get enough but I still had leftovers for lunch today.

The server, Cam, went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable and taken care of. The food was delectable, highly recommend the chicken pad thai! Not to mention the decor of the restaurant is warm and soothing.

Thai....no other way to explain it but Tommy's has the traditional offerings with mild, medium , hot and spicy Thai hot levels. I can only imagine the latter being out of this world, numb your tongue off. Location is convenient to Bluebird but street parking is no bueno during the day. 2hour limits between 8a-6p. Service is wonderful (close your menu when you are ready to order) and our glasses stayed full. Quality and quantity of our orders were decent (and filling).

Last night we went to Tommy's Thai with a friend. We hadn't been in over three years, and it is still good and consistent! The prices are very affordable too! I can't wait to try US Thai! We ordered the vegetable gyoza and bowls of tom kha gai for our appetizer. The gyoza was good, and the soup really hit the spot! I had the traditional Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp, medium heat. I thought it was great! Our friend Marlene had the chicken Drunken Noodles, and Bob had tofu green curry. Bob doesn't care for the taste of any seafood and said he could taste a slight bit of an unknown, unlisted fish-based ingredient in both the soup and his curry, but overall he still liked both. The curry could have used a few more spices. Our server was very kind and attentive. The house wines and beers were also good and affordable. It's nice to know that they are still going strong!

OMG, how have I lived without Tommy's Thai for so long?! I have officially found my Thai go-to. A friend recommended this spot and I enjoyed it for the first time yesterday for lunch. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. The second I walked through the door, every staff member inside said "hello" to me. They were all instantly warm and friendly, acted like they knew me personally. We were immediately seated, the inside is warm, modern, and very clean. Our server was so sweet and friendly, and she treated us like family! The menu has all of the traditional Thai classics, our friends raved about their Pad Thai. Our friends ordered the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and I ordered the Massamun Curry. After we ordered, our wonderful server came back with Tom Kha for us to enjoy while we waited! She was so cute and said, "I have a surprise for you!" The Tom Kha was perfect for a cold snowy day, and absolutely delicious!! So flavorful and delectable. Our food came out and I was pleasantly surprised by the Massamun Curry! Instead of the typical thin-sliced chicken that you see at most Thai/Asian restaurants, my curry had full chicken thigh pieces! The curry sauce was so creamy and silky and thick, with perfectly cooked onions, potatoes, and peanuts. But I still couldn't get over the chicken!! So tender and hearty, and much more filling than the thin-sliced chicken that I'm used to! What a treat! We didn't order appetizers or desserts, but they had wonderful offerings of both on their menu. I am still drooling over the Tom Kha and Massamun Curry and I can't wait to go back. This is my new Thai go-to, and I would highly recommend!

Tommy's hasn't been the same since the pandemic. I went for lunch, got the pad thai, it had nearly 50% beans protein and 50% noodles. Told the owner, she "remade" it. But it was cold like they just added some noodles. We gave it another try a few months later and same thing tons of bean sprouts. There was a hair in the egg roll, which was comped. So although it has good flavor, I am done with them.

I just went to Tommy's Thai and it was great. My server Luke was very kind, patient, and helpful when I had questions about the menu. The Thai tea was a delicious sweet treat, and the pad Thai was Flavorful, spicy, creamy, sweet and just Awesome I definitely recommend Tommy's Thai. Ask for Luke as your server, he's great. Staff was friendly but I wasn't impressed with the food. I ordered pineapple curry but the flavors were too strong in the wrong way. I'm a big fan of curry but this one just doesn't make the cut in my opinion. My wife had the pad thai but it was very watery. We will probably never go back.

Man, I really wanted to like this place, because the people working there were so nice. But, I can't excuse the food. I have to start with the soup. My friend and I each got the Tom Kha Gai (my favorite soup) which was $10.25 and said "For 2". You guys need to take that off of the description, like yesterday. Picture a large hot and sour soup from a Chinese restaurant, now cut that container in half and don't even fill it full. That's soup for ONE, unless you're talking about two small children who aren't that hungry. I was prepared to accept the size and price if it were great soup. Instead, my friend said the exact same thing I did. "Watered down". It wasn't creamy, at all. Yes, there was some coconut milk in there, but very little - this was watery damn soup. And, it made me so sad. That combined with the size "for 2" and I felt horribly ripped off. The Stuffed Chicken Wings were....interesting. I had bites that were pretty good and I had bites I had to spit out. The concept is interesting, and the coating was crispy, but there was too much gristle and random non-edible bits mixed in. And, it was expensive, as well. I also had the Pad See Ew and I'm gonna use the same words - watered down. The flavor wouldn't have been bad at all, but it was so diluted that I couldn't believe they were passing this off the way they were. I mean, it's such a cheap dish to make, and they are not cheap. You gotta dilute the sweet soy sauce? Also, hardly any noodles. There was a decent amount of broccoli and chicken (though the chicken was chopped to tiny bits in some places) and....very very little noodles, which is honestly why I ordered this. I really wish this were a better review and that the food were better. You guys either need to fix the recipes or lower the prices.

The atmosphere is very casual, if you seek something formal or with a bit of privacy this is not the place for you. I will also say I agree with the other reviews, the food is very bland and lacking in flavor. I had a beef and broccoli which came out from the kitchen within 5 minutes of ordering so pretty obvious food is precooked and they plate it when you order. My beef was paper thin, yet was not tender the brown gravy was pale in color and taste as if it were watered down. Thankful for sodium soy sauce to give it some flavor. My friend ordered a curry dish that came out in a bowl and visually did not look appealing or appetizing in the least bit. Would i recommend or go back, NO!

Great service and tasty food. We had the Pad Thai and the veggie gyoza, and both were delicious. The food came out quickly, and service was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. We will be back!

Been coming here for 15+ years. Very consistent in their food, love the heat and appreciate the good service. Usually, grab the pad thai with extra tofu and veggies kicking it up to the hot level (working on Thai hot). Burns the mouth after a few bites, but it's just the right amount of spice. Add Vegetable Gyosa as an appetizer and you're there. Or? Try a Veggie eggroll and dip it in a healthy dose of hot mustard, I guarantee you'll feel some heat. This is a good quality, cleaner version of Thai food. Always go away from there feeling full, the portions are very healthy. Not as greasy as some I run across. We enjoy the atmosphere, clean and professional.

Super-duper mediocre Thai food. This place seems popular, but I have to wonder if it's just because it's been around for a while, or if it's because Denverites aren't familiar with good Thai food yet. I see little reason to order from here when there places like 9Thai (delicious, authentic) and Aloy (delicious, Americanized) to choose from.

I have been eating at Tommy's for years and the quality of the food has definitely gone down hill. On a recent visit they no longer offered several of our favorite dishes (they told us because the dishes are too labor intensive), the portions are small for the price, and the ingredients (specifically the chicken) were odd in flavor and texture. The soup was also watered down in taste and the overall meal was just blah. This is been the case for my last few visits and I'm likely not to return.

Tommy's Thai, I love you. I've been coming here since I was a little kid, and although the decor has been updated, thankfully the menu has not. I've been searching ever since in every city, town and/or country that I live in and haven't found anything to rival you. I will say that despite my best intentions to expand my horizons, I've honestly have never ordered anything but the pad Thai. I know that isn't super authentic to Thailand and the diverse majesty that is Thai food, but Tommy's the best in all the land and sometimes a girl just wants pad Thai. The happy hour wine is cheap, the servers have been there (some of them, anyway!) for years, and the same family has owned the joint for 20+ years. Everyone is friendly and the service is fast. The spicy ratings are 0, 5, and 10. The ten will burn your face off and the zero is, well, a zero. I recommend the 5 with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.

For some reason I was expecting Tommy's to be a dive so you can only imagine how I felt when I walked in. If you don't know what that means......Tommy's isn't a dive.....and that breaks my heart for some reason. I'm still getting used to my neighborhood and trying to find my go to spot for Thai. After reading the reviews on here and given the close proximity to, I bit the bullet and decided to give Tommy's a chance. I was in a hang-out-in-yoga-pants-and-hoodie kind of mood so I carried out. When I called in they told me it was going to be about 20 minutes, no worries, I was going to get there early and grab a drink. When I walked in I was overtaken (ironically enough) by the minimalistic, trendy vibe Tommy's gave off. I was thanking my lucky stars I wore a bra because I felt totally out of place in my casual clothes. I wish I wouldn't have gotten there so early because there is barely anywhere to wait. I grabbed a Thai tea and went into the small entry way to stand and flip through a magazine (they're like a doctor's office and have People, US Weekly, etc!) Bad move because some lady and her kid decided to leave their table and just stand there and three was definitely a crowd. I went outside to sip on my tea and got bored after a few minutes......and the tea? Blew monkey chunks. If the tea was a person it would've been George Clinton because it was funky as all hell. Luckily the food didn't take 20 minutes and soon enough I was on my way home, ready to get my Pad Thai on. Their prices seemed a little higher to me and you don't get as much bang for your buck as you do at other places. The pad thai was spicy as I requested but besides that it seemed to lack flavor and didn't have a lot of sauce. It was enough to last me for two meals so that was appreciated but I was underwhelmed with the experience as a whole. I think if I was in a mood where I wanted to spend more money than necessary (i.e. never) and in a bind for some pad thai, I would go here again, otherwise I am still on the hunt for my go to Thai place.

5 stars for their food, but 2 stars for their service. They are NOT the friendliest people at all. We walked in to the restaurant, and they don't even say 'hi' or anything.. We just got blank stares and after few minutes, they asked us how many of us we are.. but their food is amazing! LOVE their thai spring rolls. Great thai iced coffee. I loved this place! My girlfriend and I wanted Thai food and she said this was the best place to go. I had never been before but was pleasantly surprised!! I had the pad Thai-spicy and she had the green curry-medium. I order pad Thai everywhere I go in search of one "the one" and this was honestly the best pad Thai I've had yet.The hot was definitely hot and I will probably get medium next time. One thing I really hate is when you order pad Thai at a Thai restaurant and there's so much sauce it's almost soupy-this is not how they serve theirs here at Tommys! Curry isn't really my jam but I thought my girlfriends tasted good. I loved the potato's! She got hers "medium" and I swear it was spicer than mine, maybe because it's curry?? I read some comments about the serving size being small but I would absolutely disagree with that. It is at the very least at least two meals. Tommy's is my new go to!

Literally got what would be a half portion from any other Thai restaurant in town. Never seen anything like it. I called and was told that this is what they can offer at this price, at this time, and that they haven't raised their prices in four years so the quantity is smaller. I would like to be told that when I order or charge me a few dollars more (inflation is real) and give me a full meal.

Very good food clean and nice service! I eat chicken soup - it was very good with kale jalepeneosss... I don't like to spicy food but this is soup was so good!! I recommend for everyone! Thanks!!!

A long day. A warm night. A third (THIRD!!!) date. My acquaintance and I decide that getting takeout is our dinner move, and we (she) choose(s) Tommy's. Respectable call. I go with the pad kra pow based on it being the most recognizable item on the menu (can't I just get some drunken noodles). Part of me wanted to be the crazy and tough guy who got it served extra spicy. Part of me wanted to actually enjoy my meal and go with mild. This dichotomy appears literally every time I get Thai and that is the reason I always go medium. However, I have been burned before when getting medium. Thai lovers you know the famous inter- and intra-restaurant inconsistency I'm talking about, even among meals in the same order. So, what to do? I get medium and leave a special note: "if the medium is super hot, please go mild or somewhere in between". Now, maybe I played myself and made the cooks concerned that I couldn't handle any heat, or the cooks just really wanted to make me think they read my note. Alternatively, the sauce could have just been not that hot. Either way, my meal was probably 2/10 spicy. Objectively this meal was in the top 5% of Thai meals in my life, basically because my mouth wasn't getting absolutely incinerated by the sauce. I was just on the rebound from a level 10 face burn and my lips were pretty charred still so they were primed for destruction at the hands of hot ass sauce. And I was spared. Part of me is happy that I actually enjoyed the meal, and part (perhaps a slightly larger part) is not happy that I didn't get that spicy burn I have come to sadistically enjoy from my Thai meals. Either way, I came out of the experience just a little wiser and for that reason I would go back to Tommy's again. Now, my acquaintance got the curry and apparently she loved it. Normally this statement would get deference but I couldn't help but notice she only ate half of it. Was it because she was trying to not be a pig and didn't want to absolutely demolish a bowl of Thai curry in front of a guy she had only met twice before? There is 0 chance this is the reason. I was sunburnt as fuck and my appearance alone meant manners were out the door. Based on that, it seems more likely that the serving was large (a subjective call), she didn't want her breath to smell (no comment), HER meal was too spicy for her (absolutely likely) or some combination thereof. Regardless, she must've liked it because she has been back for more already. Either way, Tommy's provided some awesome food and great service and I would go back every time.

How can a Thai restaurant mess up a spring roll? It was loosely wrapped, in a flour tortilla, no shrimp or tofu, looked like scrambled eggs and sausage with bean sprouts. And the sauce was like sweet honey sauce, not peanut sauce. I even pointed out that it didn't look anything like a spring roll and they said "no, that's a spring roll" I think they gave me an unfried egg roll. I understand kitchens make mistakes but to look me in the eye and insist this was a spring roll? I'll never go back. It's a shame, they used to be my all time favorite Thai restaurant.

I agree with another review that the Tuesday lunch special is a must. Very delicious and added a vegetarian egg roll. Lunch for less than 15 with tip. Definitely would come back!

Tommy's Thai is fine if you want a quick and easy American Thai experience, but the prices don't match the quality of food. With the taste, I'd want everything to be about 20% cheaper or 20% tastier.

The worst Thai food we have ever had. They sent rotten larb that literally smelled regurgitated. Their spring rolls were made with some sort of tortilla. That smell stays with you for a while. I gave feedback and never heard from them.

I have been here a couple of times now for pre-concert dinner and while I remember my food being pretty good the first time, this last time left me feeling pretty meh about it. I got the drunken noodles and my husband got the tofu in brown sauce. He enjoyed his, but mine was just..... Meh. The noodles were very oily, there was not much flavor. The tofu was not fried, just plain, bland- the tofu people try and say "I hate tofu!" I'm vegan & I like tofu, but usually expect it to be fried with Thai food; my husband's was fried? And they fry it when they put it in curry so? It made the texture/taste of the whole dish very unimpressive. Spongy tofu and oily noodles. Yummy. No crunch. No bite. Sigh. I also ordered medium spice, was not spicy at all. We were low on time so I sucked it up and made it okay by adding soy sauce and a bunch of hot pepper powder and chili sauce, but I don't think I'll get their drunken noodles again. I do appreciate they have several vegan options so I'm sure we'll be back at some point, but next time I'll try something else.
