A lowkey spot in Goodyear with amazing sushi for a great price point!! This time we ordered the Achikochi (crispy sushi rice with spicy tuna and avocado) and it was sooo good. I love to order the Phoenix roll, King Kong, Baked Mussels, Yakitori, and the Chicken Karaage. You can’t go wrong.

Hamachi Kama was perfect, fresh and moist, not overcooked. We ordered a giant sushi boat, probably the biggest sushi/sashimi order on their menu, and it came in lots of pieces and was decent. Service: they literally just drop the food on our table and took off without looking at us or saying anything. Our giant sushi and sashimi boat was huge, probably the biggest order on the menu. No ginger or wasabi on the boat. We tried to flag down our server, any servers at this point for some ginger and wasabi but the waiter and waitress just buzz right by. My husband had to walked up to the counter to grab ginger and wasabi for our table. Then came the dessert that included in the meal, right when we are still only halfway through our meal. We kindly told them that we are still eating, the fried ice cream will melt by the time we are done. We asked if they can bring it back to us after we finished our meal. The lady server actually rolled her eyes. When we finally were ready for the dessert. The same lady brought it to our table and said we fried you a new one. But then I found Saran Wrap on my dessert, between the ice cream and the batter. Wrapping our dessert is acceptable, but founding a big Saran wrap, the size of a 1/3 of a dollar bill between the ice cream and the dough was not nice. Plus, that Saran Wrap would not have survived during the frying process. Not nice.

Always get my ramen here but this time they kinda gave me small portions of everything :/ even the "half" of the egg was more like 1/4 of an egg. Small portion of pork overall good but dissappinted with todays meal. I will come again some other day before I start giving this place a second thought.

Used to love Tomo back in the day but it’s just not the same. The food portions are smaller, and prices are way up. & The menu is constantly changing so don’t get attached to any items. The last few times I’ve eaten there, food was burnt, or very sloppily put together, missing sauces it comes with, and honestly just disappointing. Can no longer call this my “go to” sushi spot…

Really enjoyed everything about this Sushi Restaurant. First time visiting and it won’t be the last! Our Bartender was phenomenal and very friendly, her service was amazing and the drinks she made were outstanding. The Sushi was delicious and fresh! Recommending my family and friends to this restaurant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very disappointed after multiple times going there. I don’t know if ownership changed, but the food quality definitely did. The server is amazing, but the chefs are not, to serve food like that, especially for the price. Not okay. Get out together. sesame chicken no sesame, asked for the seeds so I can add, very small even though the picture looks like it’s large. Tatsu totally burnt not good hard to eat. And I wish I got a picture of my daughters Crunch roll with no crunch on it. When is consistency going to show up instead of being disappointed. Another time Had an issue with the staff the week before with rudeness when my daughter tried to get food one evening. It was like they didn't want to serve or work. So she left.

First time order was a to go from postmates. I got the tonkotsu ramen and bento box w/tempura, I think it was box A. DAMN. At first I thought it was a little pricy but who cares, it's Friday, treat yo self. It was worth it! The bento box alone came with so much food! My ramen was HUGE and packed with care so nothing got squishy or soggy or cold. The tonkotsu broth was DELICIOUS, ill gladly order a cup next time to drink. Will eat here again, 10/10 marvelous!

Very disappointed in my last interaction with this place I have loved for years. Had a large party Coming which I called in advance a month in advance and was told to call back a few days before which I did I called on Monday. Six days later when my party gets there. We are immediately seated which was great but from there it was complete chaos tried to talk to the staff about orders that were missing for over and hour just kept getting it’s coming it’s coming . The table was set for 20 only 16 people were there. When asking for things the waiter is getting overwhelmed and getting and attitude and then when I asked for the manager she just kinda brushed me off tried to shove my food in a bag so I could get out her face. They also have some rule that that can’t split the bill more than four ways for a large party which was never told to me. So then the manager goes and head and split it however it needs to be split. We were here for my daughter’s birthday and the level of unprofessionalism was just astonishing. After we get that straightened out my party is standing outside talking the manager comes running out the restaurant door jumping on the security guard that was walking around (I assume they know each other…) however it was quite frightening to patrons to see after just coming out of a restaurant having had poor service. A bunch of kids playing around standing around no one knows what’s going on. This place has really went down from the Gem it used to be. I’ve been coming here for years
