"Tomoko in Beverly Hills is a transformative experience from the moment you walk through the door, where it’s likely Tomoko herself who will hand you a pair of slippers before leading you into the traditionally minimalist, Japanese-style pretreatment relaxation area for tea, the first of many pots they’ll brew for you. There’s no communal changing area or locker rooms, as each of the four treatment rooms is set up with all the amenities of a luxury hotel room (shower, closet, bath, vanity, etc.). A single treatment can take up to four hours with all the trimmings—starting with a foot soak and reflexology massage and ending with post-massage herbal tea and mochi ice cream. A restorative experience at Tomoko! Had an enjoyable couples massage. The spa lacks amenities like a sauna, water treatments, etc. but still has a calming atmosphere that feels like a far away destination. The treatment room was serene and spacious. What I liked was built in time before and after the service to relax in the treatment room. It was nice to not feel rushed into leaving. Our massages were very good (and I’m picky. I prefer a chiro massage over most day spas. I want someone to really work on me and not just rub lotion on my back). My therapist understood the assignment and got after it. The tea service was a nice end to the experience. The customer service was lovely. I already booked my next appointment!

It was a wonderful experience. The couples massage was excellent, and I highly recommend it.

I've owned spas, and have been in the beauty and personal care business for decades. I've interviewed, had a lot of massages and been to a lot of spas. I can say that Tomoko spa is one of the best spas I've been to. Very clean. Extraordinary service. Excellent massage techniques. You need pampering? If you can afford it, Tomoko is a great place to do that.

Google
Awful! It’s not worth money. I knew a lot celebrities came here before like Justin Bieber, and Hailey. But I had so many different massages all over the world. This is the worst! I paid $300 more for nothing! It was not a massage, my masseur just touched my body very light! Although they were humble, a lot people can not be rude when someone is humble but doing a Kuku Job. But I was so pissed! I am paying you money just buying you a humble face! I was almost suffocated because this kind of too polite way!

Google
Amazing. It was a rainy day in LA and this was a wonderful escape from it all. Upon entering I was provided slippers and escorted to the calming waiting area. I chose the Tomoko massage which began with a private soothing foot wash and massage in my room with some warm tea. The massage therapist was absolutely perfect with the amount of pressure and stretching. I even dozed off mid massage because it was so soothing. Afterwards they have an in room shower where you can wash up before leaving. Upon leaving the private room you’re welcomed to a chair with your shoes set up, small departing gifts and the bill discreetly set for gratuity. I will definitely return for another soothing experience on my next visit.

Google
A beautiful setting, but the experience didn’t fully live up to the promise. Tomoko Japanese Spa offers a stunning, serene ambiance — no doubt about that. The space is beautifully designed, and it initially gives the impression of an ultra-luxurious, authentic Japanese wellness experience. However, as someone who truly values high-level spa experiences, I felt that the overall service and execution fell short of what the branding suggests. The level of personalization, depth of technique, and attention to the finer details — which are expected at this price point and in a place like Beverly Hills — just weren’t quite there. It wasn’t a bad experience, but it also wasn’t the memorable, transformative one that I had hoped for. There’s potential here, but it needs refinement — especially in aligning the quality of treatment with the luxury aesthetic they present so well. With a few adjustments, this could become a true gem. But for now, it feels more like a beautiful promise than a fully realized destination.

Google
No wonder this spa has an incredibly rating! It’s truly one of the unique and relaxing spa experiences I’ve had in LA! I did a 90 min prenatal massage and I could not be happier with the treatment. From the minute I arrived I was completely comfortable, the slippers, the robe, the private room, the delicious tea and the thoughtful details! It’s on the pricier side but clearly for a reason! Highly recommend

Google
We went here for my partner birthday and it was outstanding! At first they will come to open the parking for you, so no worries about parking. You will wait in a peaceful waiting room where they bring you warm towel and sleepers. We wanted the couple therapy. They were reserved us a suite with bath top, closet for your clothes, live seat etc every single detail there was really good! I loved this place! You can see more details in photos. Since it was his birthday we got a really nice table decorated with rose pedals and small cake and candles! And at the end wit the nice set of chapstick, he got a power bank as a birthday gift! It is pricy $1030 without tips! If you are ok with the price, I recommend it for sure!

Yelp
I usually forget to write reviews after experiences , been coming here for years and it's always good experience! But today specifically I came in with really bad pain that's been bothering me for days. (Left upper back) And my specialist was Emily, which I haven't had before, I usually don't have a person here and ask for whoever is available based on my schedule! She listened to my concerns and address them beyond my expectations, within minutes she knew exactly the spot and worked at it for a while! Walked out of here like a new person! I think she may be my new person!

Yelp
I have never been to a Japanese spa, but I know a lot about Japanese traditions. As soon as I stepped through the door of this cozy establishment in Beverly Hills, I completely forgot I was in Los Angeles and was fully immersed in the atmosphere of the Land of the Rising Sun. From the warm hospitality to the soothing massage, and culminating in the tea and sushi ceremony, everything made me feel nothing less than an emperor in this life. Thank you so much for such incredible hospitality and for an experience in one of the most luxurious places!

Yamilet M.

Yelp
Mold found in tub planks. For the price we paid this was so unbelievable. We had no calls from management or anything but a simple oh we'll clean it sorry. Be careful and dont get sick.

Yelp
Came back again and the massage was much much better. The ambiance was great and service is to make you feel like royalty. Will be back to check for consistency. It's honestly a very thoughtful gift for a romantic, refreshing, and relaxing evening.

Yelp
This place is insane!! Immediately as you walk in the door, you transported into another world. Tomoko is an experience, not just a massage. You are welcomed with slippers, calmed by the dim lighting and music, and assigned your own suite with a couch and shower. The massage is amazing and personalized to your needs. Add ons include a foot soak, bath, couple's experience, and in-suite sushi. After the massage, they give you delicious ginger tea in your room. Then, you are lead into a cozy lounge area and given more tea, treats, and a goodie bag to-go. Definitely plan on reserving extra time after your massage to enjoy this lounge area. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and helpful. Be prepared that it is pricey, but it is worth it for a special occasion!

Yelp
What an amaaaazing experience! Someone gifted me a 90 minute massage here and oh what a treat! I had never been to Japanese spa before and it's quite the experience. It's pure luxury from the moment you walk in the door and with every little attention to detail. They start with tea and a foot massage .... huge spa room to yourself and a highly trained and skilled masseuse. The service is exceptional - the best of the best. Pricy, even for Beverly Hills but I will definitely go back!

Yelp
A very pleasant experience w/ the cutest little touches. I took my sister here for her bday and we both had a lovely time. You just feel so relaxed and taken care of once you arrive. I chose the Hinoki package which was so divine! When you fill out your liability waiver, you can circle and specify which areas to focus on, how much pressure you'd like, etc. We started with a 15 minute foot massage/scrub, was served some ginger tea and then got ready for our massages. My masseuse, Rina, checked in throughout my massage to make sure I was satisfied. She was great! Afterwards, they brought us little desserts and some more tea. We had an hour to use to the bath and shower amenities. I have to acknowledge how much I appreciated them making my sister feel special on her birthday. The staff wished her happy birthday multiple times, left little notes, brought us a piece of cake and gifted her something small at the end. The details didn't go unnoticed! So worth it, esp if you're celebrating something/someone special. They now have an automated system when you call in, so if you need the gate lifted for the parking lot next door, you may have to run in to let them know - otherwise, it's metered street parking.

Yelp
I've had this spa bookmarked for the longest time, and this year my thoughtful best friend got me a gift card for a " couples Japanese experience" and let me tell you, this is one for the books! Yes it's a bit over the top and definitely not cheap. But, honestly it was so worth it. They start us off with a 15min detox foot soak/massage, then we went to heaven for 90mins. I don't remember my massage therapist names but they were both so good my husband is a pretty big guy and his masseuse managed to put him to sleep for the entire 90mins! Right after that they served us fancy matcha tea, followed by sushi for two served in the cutest bento box and also there was a lot of cute dessert and snacks. And finally we got to rinse and enjoyed their sake bath in a traditional Japanese Ofuro. The whole experience took 3hrs but honestly it was not enough, we didn't want to go home :*( Everything from moment we entered the spa to our send off was seamless, elegant, and delivered like a white glove service. You honestly get what you paid for. Hubby loved it so much he said we'll be back for our anniversary next year! Lucky me

Yelp
Like everyone else said this place is just not comparable to other places. Every single place I get a massage from, I get sore all over the next day. Well I'm writing this the following day and I'm still not sore. The other places know massaging techniques but they don't know how to massage. I feel rejuvenated and the pressure they applied was just right for both my wife and me. They haven't rolled our muscles once! I really hate it when other places do that because I get bruised and it feels horrible all day and the next few days. Once you go inside, you'll be entering a lounge area and we had tea and felt relaxed immediately. Then we were taken into the massage room and it felt like a private suite which was great because a room with just the massage bed feels like an operating room. The massage bed you lay on has a bit of elevated leg area and it's heated so it feels sooooo relaxing and nice even while you're laying on it. Then their knees and elbows come out to get rid of my pain and I'm just dead. Got stretched out as well and I never got stretched by a masseuse before but it felt great. I don't know why these guys aren't booked out for months but this place deserves to be. They are the only massage/spa place I would go to even though they are pricier than others. I would rather pay more for more than less for crap. And if you're the same, trust when I say that they are worth every friggin penny.

Yelp
Really amazing spa! So relaxing and the ambiance is a calming soothing environment. I can definitely see myself coming here at least once a month to for self care. I got the hot stone treatment and also the essential oils. I haven't had anything like this since being out east.
google avatar

La La L.

Yelp
As expected, this is probably one of, if not the best Japanese spa in Los Angeles. I just wish they were transparent on their website about their sushi - it's Sugar Fish. Nothing wrong with that, I just think it's deceptive not to include that information up front, especially since the cost is in the four digits for 3 hours of service.
google avatar

Rae S.

Yelp
Wow is all I can say. From the moment you step inside, you're immediately taken care of. My boss paid for my massage (shout to her!) and I'm sooo thankful she did. Everyone was super accommodating, I didn't have to wait long and the waiting area was super relaxing in itself. The massage was amazing. Like so good. I had no words at the end, I was super relaxed and definitely needed that. The atmosphere, music, and overall service was superb! The tea at the end was actually delish and they give you little chocolates at the end. Loved it and I'll def be going back!
google avatar

Yelp
We went here for my bfs birthday and it was super relaxing. Atmosphere is super nice and staff as well. It's a little expensive. Their sushi is from sugar fish so it's good. I'm not sure if I would come back but it's a good spa. I personally don't like massage and bf thought it was very mild pressure and he fell Asleep lol
google avatar

Natalie B.

Yelp
The place is true relaxation. Surpised my bf with the best and most luxurious spa in LA. With a full body massage/stretches and hot stones what more can you ask for? As you walk in, you're no longer in Beverly Hills, you're somewhere calm and peaceful. You would never imagine there being a noisy atmosphere outside. They truly make you feel at peace. It was my first ever massage and I usually don't let ppl massage me but this was everything and more. I was so so satisfied. It was the right amount of pressure, right amount of movements. We were greeted upon arrival, given slippers to switch our shoes from, then taken to another room inside. We then were greeted by our masseuses and taken into the room. We were served the most yummiest ginger tea, and a chocolate treat. Beginning with the 15min foot massage, and scrub, my feet felt baby soft. There was light and airy music playing in the background. We then were told to change and get into the heated massage beads. What a plus. I was asked if I wanted light or hard pressure. They really made me feel comfortable. I was about to fall asleep during it. My bf did fall asleep and really really enjoyed it. I was surprised with the hot stone, I didn't realize that comes with our package but I wasn't against it. It was all the more relaxing. We then took a quick nice sake bath, and were introduced with our matcha making, sushi and birthday cheekcake. At the end we were gifted with Tomoko chop sticks, chocolate, and cute mini origami. The pictures say it all. Thank you Tomoko Spa! My bf and I were so relaxed. We would love to come again

Yelp
This establishment is just a home run. From the second you walk in to the second you check out they treat you like a queen. I wish I can go every week.

Ruriko S.

Yelp
I love this spa. The service is excellent since the beginning to the end. I love the detox tea which made my skin to look so good the following day. The whole experience was fantastic, I felt like a princess. They started with a foot massage and treatment then we were taken to a private room where we had the massage. The massage was great. Then we weee left alone so we enjoyed a very relaxing and romantic bath. After that they brought us our meal and they l took photos of us. I definitely love this spa.

Jazmin W.

Yelp
Loved every last second of this spa experience. I posted an entire TikTok vlog about it. The service was incredible , everything feels personalized. The spa is clean, decor is traditional minimal Japanese, the massage was unlike anything I've ever booked before! They give you snacks and several different tea options. Can't wait to go back

Ava J.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and while an amazing spa, sadly, it's become way too pricey with less special touches. Each visit in the past included different teas, waters, snacks and treats including lychee jelly and mochi, but now you get one square of chocolate and one chocolate graham cracker, with some tea, nowhere near the level from before, yet the price has skyrocketed. You have 20-30 min after your treatment to shower and get ready, and if you go a few minutes past that time (I went 4 minutes past the time) you'll get a knock on the door and a feeling of being rushed out. For the cost, it just wasn't the most pleasant. When I first walked in, no one was there to greet me which was a bit awkward. Also a nice lady handed me a hot towel to use for my hands which was nice, but later I saw a couple being presented with the hot towels on a pretty platter, rolled up nicely, so the service wasn't consistent. Overall, still a lovely spa but spending close to half a thousand dollars for a rushed experience is no longer worth it.

Yelp
My goodness, I do not know where to start but anyone looking into this place, PLEASE GO!!! I barely mentioned about it being my birthday and they went through so much to celebrate my birthday with a matcha cheesecake and rose petals with signs of "happy birthday" and it made me feel so special! I would highly recommend the Japanese Experience if youre a couple or friends wanting to celebrate an occasion because it is 100% worth the money. The service is top tier, the ambience is impeccable, and whenever I come back to LA, this is the first place Im going back to! Everyone there are incredibly friendly and I honestly didnt want to leave! If i could I would give them 10 stars!!!

Pannee K.

Yelp
Its fantastic place My lovely boyfriend gave me gift vouchers to try Tomoko Japanese Spa ; so nice, relax. I like this place so much ; quiet, clean and awesome place. All the crews are friendly and pleasant specially Nena she is very good she helps me to relax my body. Definitely I recommend this place and I will go back again

Yelp
A truly luxurious experience. I booked the Tomoko massage as a little treat for myself a little while back. It was the most relaxing massage I've ever had with excellent service from the moment you step into the building. I had a sore shoulder at the time, and my masseuse expertly adjusted the massage to be lighter on that side. I felt so refreshed after the experience, definitely worth the occasional splurge!
google avatar

Kirstin P.

Yelp
Wow! If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in a spa day, this place is worth it. It's $$$$ but honestly I had zero qualms about spending this money. The service and treatments are unparalleled.
google avatar

Anu B.

Yelp
My second time here and right away such a different experience. My masseuse was Nana and she did an amazing job! It was exactly one hr of excellent massage. I think my first experience would have been excellent if it was NaNa. Definitely will be back with NaNa.
google avatar

Sherri Z.

Yelp
If you like massages, this place will be heaven. My hubby booked us the Japanese experience for two for Valentine's Day. It made for a perfect date night! It starts with a very easy check in process, and you change into slippers and wait in a tranquil lobby while they prepare your private room. The room is peaceful, beautiful and is complete with a ofuru bath and rainfall shower. They start off with a foot massage while you sip tea, and then you get right into the 90 minute massage. The masseuse we had was very professional and good. The night ends with delicious sushi from Sugarfish and a soak in a bath. They were sweet enough to offer a parting gift at the end. All the staff was very professional and fully masked! This was the most luxurious date night! Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars Tip- they let you park in their lot, just call when you are at the gate.

Yelp
Came for my boyfriends birthday and it was a relaxing experience. The massage itself wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. All the workers were very soft spoken, and extremally polite. The sake oil they used was so nice and didn't feel thick/heavy like other places. I love that they provide a clean shower after the massage. I messed up and accidently booked the Tomoko thinking it was the Japanese experience that comes with a bath and food so i was a little disappointed at myself. We will come back for the Japanese Experience.
google avatar

Kristin M.

Yelp
I wish I could give this spa 5 stars. The spa is beautiful, tranquil and every little detail is carefully thought out. My massage therapist was wonderful. I visited for my birthday and my experience was customized with a beautiful sign and parting gift. The experience would have been perfect had there not been very loud construction sounds during my treatment. I could hear heavy machinery and construction workers talking. I could not fully relax and honestly felt a bit cheated. They should have closed this treatment room or been upfront about the potential disruption at the time of booking. Before making an appointment I'd recommend confirming construction has been completed.
google avatar

Gigi Y.

Yelp
Wonderful experience! My birthday massage was impeccable from start to finish. Seamless and serene arrival, lavish private room, meticulous foot wash to start. Then the service itself was sublime with great attention to my specific needs. Everyone I encountered was amiable and I received a small gift upon departure.
google avatar

Alisa V.

Yelp
The couples Japanese 120 experience was wonderful! They do a good job of making you forget the outside world. Lots of snacks. Cookies, water and tea. The massage was great. We had Apple and Kwan. I asked for a strong massage from Apple and I got that. The bath was relaxing. They used a lot of products with Sake. Oil rub and in the bath. Sushi was good! Just the right amount. Dessert was yummy. And we got a pair of chopsticks and a fan to take home. This was definitely a splurge and well worth it.
google avatar

Stella C.

Yelp
Came here a few months ago because I received a gift card. When you come in, the staff warmly greets you, gives you disposable slippers and you sit in a quiet lounge, but aren't offered to change into something comfortable. There is only one bathroom and no changing area. You wait until the massage room is ready where you then get to changed into a tiny Robe and start with foot soak with tea and chocolate to have while you get a foot massage. Then, the therapist exits the room so you can settle into the massage table. Once ready, you push a button to notify them to reenter. The massage itself wasn't that memorable. I was offered to shower in the room but advised to be quick so the next patron could come. There are no spa amenities like a steam room, sauna, or hot tub. The experience was rushed, and for the price, I would have expected more time and amenities to relax.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Holy moly. A few days away from my family and I had a massage once I landed. This place is so serene and beautiful. They even gave me a birthday gift?! I didn't mention it was my birthday - I think they just noticed it was a few days away from my license. The massage was friggin' fantastic. I love it here!
google avatar

Yelp
Booked the 3 hour Japanese Experience for couples, which includes a foot massage, full body massage, hinoki bath, and sushi dinner. It is pricey and a super luxurious experience. The sushi is from Sugarfish so it's not going to be the best you've ever had but it's decent. It's more how they serve it in the cute little bento drawers. The whole experience reminded me of being in Japan. They have a free parking lot to the right of the building. When you arrive, you call them and they will open the gate for you. We booked a few weeks in advance and the Japanese Experience was all booked up and we were added to the waitlist, and luckily a cancellation opened up for us, and it was also a weekday. So book well in advance. This would make a great couples gift.
google avatar

Lisa Y.

Yelp
Parking: private lot, just pull into the gated parking next to the spa and call them to lift the gate. Amazing experience, we did the Japanese spa experience which included a foot massage, massage, bath, sushi and Japanese sweet treats. The foot massage was my favorite! The host was also super sweet, we received a gift since we were celebrating our anniversary. It was pretty magical!

Yelp
This spa...is the best of the best in LA. Have extra funds to splurge or want to make your other half happy, bring them here. You won't regret it. Or be like me, take yourself here. You'll love it. Enjoy! ~~

Yelp
I'm hesitant to share this review because it contrasts sharply with the many positive experiences I've read about, making mine seem like an anomaly. Yet, it remains my honest experience. Recommended by friends in LA, I was excited to visit Tomoko, known as the go-to spot for massages. With a history of enjoying massages at high-end spas and five-star hotels, my expectations were high. Upon arrival, I was informed I had been booked for a 90-minute full-body massage. I had actually booked a 65-minute session with a foot soak, not realizing this was part of their 90-minute treatment, which includes a 15-minute foot massage. A significant language barrier complicated the correction of this misunderstanding, and it wasn't until I was in the massage room and consulted their website that I realized the mix-up. Attempts to resolve the issue took time out of my session, starting things off on an anxious note. The massage began well with an enjoyable foot soak. However, once on the table, I encountered a problem with the headrest. It was unstable, causing discomfort as my cheek pressed against a metal bar. Despite my masseuse's attempts to fix it, the issue persisted, leading to significant discomfort. Eventually, a solution involving a folded towel and later a pillow provided some relief, though not ideal. The rest of the massage passed without relaxation, marred by the initial discomfort. Post-massage, I had less time than expected to shower and encountered further issues, including missing slippers, a malfunctioning rain shower, and a cold towel from an unheated warmer. Despite bringing these concerns to the attention of the front desk and receiving a 10% discount, the gesture hardly compensated for the discomfort and the impact on my experience at what is considered a luxury spa. The resulting physical discomfort and bruising were disheartening, especially given the anticipation and cost of the visit. While I acknowledge this experience might not reflect the norm given the spa's rave reviews, it was a deeply disappointing encounter that fell short of the high expectations set by both reputation and price.
google avatar

Davis N.

Yelp
This was a 3 hour time commitment and it was worth every minute! The spa is very well designed and brings a level of relaxation. This is then followed up with the great employees who are very nice and makes you feel at ease. The masseuses were amazing and I definitely felt alot better afterwards. This is something my wife and I will splurge on every quarter or semi-annual as we both felt fully refreshed and ready for the working life again! After the massage, we were treated with a great Japanese cuisine! The staff here were so amazing and it is truly appreciated!! They really made the experience out of this world! Parking can be a little confusing, so make sure you call the front desk to open the gate (barrier arm) when you are near on the Main Street.

Yelp
Booked the Japanese Experience for our anniversary and unfortunately it was not a 5 star experience. As we were arriving, the hostess called and let us know we could park in a space on the lot behind the spa. Great! An awesome start and the check-in, foot massage, hot tea, fresh sushi, sweets, bath, shower, and checkout process was all amazing. But what about the massage? On what should have been the most important part of this whole experience, it fell short. My masseuse was amazing but unfortunately my wife had someone who was new, kept following/looking to see what my masseuse was doing, and just didn't live up to the high expectations at this price point. You would think every masseuse would be fully trained for all clientele. I would give 3.5 stars but considering everything else was great, 4 stars it is on what really should have been a 5 star experience.

Yelp
Legitimately the best spa I've ever been to and I've got a good amount under my belt now . The service is unmatched , the ambiance they create and the actual massage is just top tier. It's ruined all other spas/massage places for me. They also serve sushi with some of their packages and it's always tasted great. As for the price just don't think too much about it. It's worth it.
google avatar

Maria B.

Yelp
Best massage I've gotten in a really long time. From the soaking of the feet to the kneading, stretching and pulling. Perfect! Came out feeling zen. The tea and treats after the massage were so good too.
google avatar

Kristella P.

Yelp
Got couples experience for partners birthday and it was amazing and we were well taken care of. They treat you amazing and serve some of the best tea I've ever had. The massage is so good. Then after that you get delicious sushi and sweets while relaxing in the suite with amazing Japanese bath!

Belkis H.

Yelp
Great place I was there a few years ago and I loved it. I come back to see if it still has good reviews since l would love to make an appointment for their amazing massage therapy services.

Yelp
Indulge in a truly pampering experience with your partner, spouse, or best friend at this incredibly relaxing place. It's a must-try!

Yelp
I celebrated my anniversary with a package with tea to start, a foot bath, massage on heated bed, and lastly a very light dessert. Next time I'd skip dessert & go next door to Chaumont for a croissant. During the foot bath, you sign a liability waiver and circle on a body chart where to focus, and mark X where to avoid using an iPad. Robes are worn before & after the massage. For the massage itself, they provide a disposable panty and you lay UNDERNEATH the sheet. I love getting deep tissue massages and always request someone strong. I regret not getting my masseuse's name because she was the GOAT. This is an extravagant luxury spa, and I initially had qualms about the price but the massage itself was 100% worth the splurge. Almost 4 years ago, I developed a tingle in my left heel that worsened with pregnancy weight gain & at one point I hobbled around on 1 foot with a medical boot. Then came frequent calf spasms AKA charlie horses mid-sleep which led to a knot developing deep inside my left calf muscle. I tried all kinds of physical therapy, graston, acupuncture, acupressure, ART, TENS unit, assorted theraguns and a backbuddy massage cane all failed me so I gave up on ever finding relief and accepted that knot for life. It did not even occur to me to mark it in the iPad body chart. As soon as the massage began, I knew this was going to be good. She kneaded my entire body, especially those areas I indicated, then she magically found that calf knot and focused on it toward the end. I have never been in so much blissful agony in my life. I felt beat up, and my left heel began tingling for the next couple days. But 3 days later, my left calf is knot free. I don't know how she dissolved it in the span of 2 hours!

Yelp
We've gotten massages everywhere, and we were really excited about this place. We came for a couples massage today and it was truly underwhelming. I either didn't feel anything, or when I asked for more pressure, it felt extreme. I have a bruise on my calf from her holding my calf too tight - why? Really nothing special or memorable and I came out feeling worse than when I went in. I don't think they even did the full 90 mins. So disappointing for the price. We would not recommend.

Yelp
5 STARS ALL THE WAY!! Such a great experience that felt so luxurious and decadent!! My fiance and I came to celebrate our anniversary and selected the 90 min japanese experience couples massage with bath included. When reserving we added it was our anniversary and they added in sweet anniversary notes and gifts which I thought was such a nice touch. From the minute we walked in to the moment we walked out, it was a 5 star experience with outstanding service. The spa itself was absolutely gorgeous and the private rooms were large with rainfall shower, cute wooden bathtub big enough for two, sitting area on the floor, recliners for the foot massage area, and the full body massage area. All around the room they had refreshments and toiletries which were great! Our experience included the foot spa/massage, 90 min full body massage, sushi dinner which was from Sugarfish restaurant, dessert, bathtub time with rose petals inside, and various tea times! The fact that they serve SUGARFISH was already amazing to me, because I personally adore that restaurant's sushi and it's very impressive that they serve it! The whole experience was so fun and I felt like I was in Japan with the fun robes they provided as well! We had the room for a little over 3 hours and left feeling so refreshed. Definitely pricey but was worth it especially when celebrating a special occasion! P.s. parking is in a lot next to the spa and the worker will be waiting to open it for you so be sure to call few minutes before arrival

Yelp
Came here for a couple Japanese massage experience courtesy of the SO's company and honestly we were very pleased. The moment we stepped inside the suite, it felt like stepping into an entirely different world from the bustle of BH. The foot soak/massages were amazing. Our masseuses were wonderful. The sushi dinner were just ok, but the desserts were yummy. The highlight was obvi the Japanese bath. I wish there's a Tomoko close to us in south OC.

Yelp
I've gotten a massage here the past 3 weekends in a row. Arnont gives me the best massage I've ever had. He is very polite and makes sure I am having a good experience. They adjust the temperature of the bed as well as the room to your satisfaction. It's very easy to relax and I would definitely recommend. They also gave me 3 different types of tea throughout the night. I really liked the ginger honey

Yelp
If I could give this place 100 stars I would! It's so good it's actually hard to describe because there's really no analog out there. Go, enjoy, and repeat early and often. My therapist Yuma G. was remarkable, poetry and power in motion. Thanks Tomoko!!!

Yelp
I simply can't recommend this place enough, from the moment you walk in, this place is a real Japanese experience Jem. The location is beautiful, very minimalistic and soothing, you feel relaxed from the moment you walk inside. The staff are trained professionally and will do their absolute best to accommodate your needs to make sure you get the best experience and massage possible. The massage was nothing like anything I experienced before, best 60 minutes I ever spent on a massage. My husband and I were both extremely impressed with how dedicated they are to your experience, how much attention they put to the smallest detail, and how rejuvenated we felt when we left. Definitely worth the splurge!

Yelp
I saw another reviewer call their experience 'heavenly' - and that pretty much sums it up for me. A perfectly wonderful experience from start to finish (wish I never had to leave!). Yes, a bit pricey, but definitely worth it - HIGHLY recommend! xoxo
