YUM OMG! I wish I lived in Durango so I could come here every day. It was very busy and they still got our food out fast. The vibes were wonderful and my turkey avocado sandwich (toasted) was so yummy. The fries were also GREAT and super seasoned…my only regret is that I didn’t get more for the road. The service was also exceptional!!! Thank you for an amazing pit stop on a very long journey. ❤️

The food is great for its price! I will just tell you how impressed I am with the way they combine the ingredients together to make a tasty and satisfying sandwich. I love the Elevated BLT! Again, I’m impressed with their ingredients in it and how good it tastes every time! They’re consistent, efficient (as best as any food business can be) and simple. My husband and I use the rewards system since we come here frequently. Give it a try if you haven’t because it’s good, cheap food that didn’t taste cheap but superb! ♥️

A+, 5 stars on all categories. Food, service, atmosphere, staff is super friendly. On site parking is limited, but adjacent street and nice neighborhood behind offers plenty of parking.

Had lunch here yesterday. I had the Reuben and my wife got the Portobello Sandwich. Both were excellent. Mine was the perfect level of toasted bread, melted cheese and warm sauerkraut and corned beef. Delicious! The fries had an excellent seasoning on them, but they weren’t freshly cook and you could tell! Love having the local soda in the machine. The best part part of the soda was it has no high fructose corn syrup! Staff was super helpful, friendly and very patient as we tried to decide! I’ll be back! :-)

I ordered a Ruben sandwich. And I really enjoyed it. corn beef is on point. Sauerkraut is great! sauce is excellent. And cashier was very nice. And I got my order in a timely matter. And it was my first time. As I am from New Mexico.

How do they make their does soooo good? Best fries in town! Did you know you can also get your sandwich as a salad? We love the Reuben in the middle cut. Another favorite is the AvoDevo turkey sandwich.

A wonderful No-Frills little deli shop that puts out amazing food. I love that the decor of the place is straightforward and focuses on their product. They make their bread and house and even hand cut their French Fries. I got the number 9 mid cut sandwich to go with an order of fries. Picked up the BLT with no cheese and onions for my daughter. Both sandwiches were delicious!

Sandwiches devoured: Turkey, Italian and grilled cheese. The bread is amazing and the sandwich toppings are great. I may relocate for these sandwiches.

This is one of our favorite lunch spots in Durango. Huge variety of really delicious sandwiches and great quality bread. They have very decent gluten-free option as well for bread. The fries are delicious, especially if you like a shoestring fry and they make outstanding poutine. If you're a vegetarian, there's a lot of great sandwich options as well. Highly recommend the portobello hot sandwich in the turkey cold sandwich. The team are super friendly and accommodating to any special requests and there's plenty of space to eat in or take out. It's super clean and the kitchen is open so you can watch the magic. LOVE Tom's Deli.

Best sandwiches in town! The Tomasso and Middlecut are my favorites! The poutine and wild style fries are an absolute must. Great portion sizes too. Come here at least once a week (sometimes more).

I love the Incognito sandwich here!! It's fresh and the flavors are on point. Service is fast and the staff is so kind! Definitely recommend.

Got the Turkey Avodevo. Full disclosure. I'm picky as heck. The sandwich is amazing. Great tasting turkey. The adobe aioli is an amazing addition and mixes great with the turkey avocado sprouts and bacon. Fresh bread, huge portions. I might go back tmrw. Damn what a gem of a place. It's legit I also went 10 minutes before they closed and still got a great sandwich

I wanted this to be the deli of my dreams. The crew was dismissive and made me feel bad for asking if they had an iced tea option. They don't. The turkey sammich was dry turkey that was thickly sliced with hardly any sauce of any kind. They have a weird off brand fountain machine with only sugary soda choices. We got the fries which were crispy on top and then soggy because they are packaged in a cup. The tables, trash, ketchup and straw area were beyond filthy. I didn't experience the charm that I was hoping for. It's expensive- $40 for 2 plus that expected tip. May your trip be more magical than mine.

Fabulous sandwiches and fries at a reasonable price! The eggplant is my favorite! The poutine was also very authentic and delicious.

Holy sh**t this place is the bomb. I ordered a green chili poutine the middle cut on a hoagie and the portabella on sourdough. After a high country or long bike ride, ski sesh, or whatever-this place ticks all the boxes. The poutine was perfect and had all the flavors I was craving.. until I bit into the boss wida sauce from heaven (the middlecut) it was so good on the hoagie, perfect bread-meat-sauce-veggie ratio and the chewy hoagie really made me ready to go home, smerk a berwl and watch Netflix. Super good munchy food, good cheap beer. All around great food for after an adventure. The owners hella cool too

Last time is visited this Deli I ordered the Pro-Vegan, it was good. Unfortunately this time it was soggy. The vegetables were dripping with excess water. ( yes I know vegetables have water, you shouldn't have water running out of your sandwich when you pick it up.

Great deli for lunch. The reuben sandwich was excellent, the meat was tasty. The fries are delicious. This place is very popular for lunch, and the staff is serving up the orders about every 15 seconds.

Quick service, but also awesome food! I tried the basic Italian which was my favorite but also tasted the hot steak sandwich which was messy but good

The reason this place is so good is the quality of the ingredients and THE HOMEMADE BREAD.It really makes the sandwich far superior than the rest.

Literally the best sandwich we've ever had. We got the Italian and the Incognito and both were very tasty. The bread you can tell is baked fresh daily. The workers were all so friendly and nice. The tables were clean and it was easy to find a seat. The drink selection was great as well! Very cute and yummy sandwhich shop! We were visiting out of town and wish they had a Tom's Deli in LA!

If you're looking for a good sandwich then this is the place, this place has been my go to since they opened. The employees are always happy and smiley and happy to help! I've been here 30+ times and never had a bad experience.

Great fresh sandwich option! Headed to parts south on 550 and checked Yelp for a sandwich shop in Durango. Easy order online and ready when we arrived. Split a Southwest Sun roast beef sandwich; any hungrier and we'd have enjoyed two. Hoagie bread was perfect, cucumbers are a nice touch. The interior is all hard surface, so it can be a little noisy, but the vibe is laid-back in the front of the house and busy behind the counter. This is a very easy 4.5* recommendation!

As a result of the good reviews we tried this place and we somewhat disappointed. The staff was pleasant and perhaps we ordered poorly but the Reuben was unremarkable (bread was burnt) and it seemed to have cabbage instead of sauerkraut on it. But the green chili poutine was terrible - the gravy was absolutely gelatinous and cheese curds were not melted. And really who charges $2.75 for a sm bottle of coke?

Good service. Weird non functional table seating. Need small high tops or more two person seating. We were three and even the tall tops were oddly sized wasting space. Cafeteria lighting. More color with paint or design personality could up the atmosphere. Dirty napkin holders and tables. Sandwiches were really good (saving grace) however the Fries were cold and tough. The sandwich wrap couldn't handle the juice and was ripped and soaked thru. Cooks fist bumping and high five-ing over counter which seems un-hygienic? But again we all agreed the sandwiches were flavorful. We support locals and local businesses. This one just needs a dust up. Want "Tom" to succeed.

After a long day of traveling, we were happy to come across this sandwich shop. The food was amazing and they had a variety of different options including cold and hot subs. Definitely recommend!

Amazing Deli's! A restaurant employee recommended to get "The Middlecut" deli and it was amazing! We all loved it and highly recommend trying it out! The bread is insanely good too, overall great place to come eat.

The Incognito was the first sando I tried at Tom's, but it won't be the last. The cheese paired perfect with the apricot jelly, but what made the sandwich was the bread. Can't wait to try all the others. I noticed we weren't the only couple with a kid. Please consider adding a changing table in the restrooms. Thanks!

Food is fantastic, had the Turkey avo & cheesesteak, both were delicious. Definitely eat here, you'll be happy. Maybe weird feedback, but this place is so loud with background/ambient noise that it was physically painful by the time we left. I am slightly hearing impaired and this type of environment is a nightmare for me. Between the kitchen vent system, bad speakers and 100% hard surfaces everywhere the noise level inside felt dangerously high. The fact that staff had to SHOUT order numbers is evidence of this--not good! Please install some sound dampening or get your workers some ear protection. I guarantee they are being exposed to unsafe levels of noise while working. Like I said, food was fantastic. Just a weirdly awful acoustic situation going on inside.

When you advertise your hours that you serve dinner till 7 PM you shouldn't be closed by quarter till because you're out of bread... Prep and be prepared my whole family was going to have dinner here tonight

Real a$$ grinder! Did not expect such a good Italian grinder in CO...Fresh roll, shredded lettuce, great flavor. Fries were yummy too. I Highly recommend Tom's deli.

A great spot for lunch or pick up a sandwich to pack with you for your walk, hike or hunt. I ordered the ingonito sandwich and it was delicious, a perfect fresh combination of flavors.

Two beautiful queens working behind the counter, serving up amazing meals and good vibes. Anytime I need a sandwich in my life I'll be going back.

Ridiculously good! So glad I found this place. I've been craving a really great sub for a bit. Not easy to find. Tom's subs are fantastic. Definitely recommend if you're in Durango. Get the Southwest Sun.

Stopped in for the first time snd I'm very pleased. Good sized portions with high quality ingredients. Service was prompt with a good clip of people coming in for lunch. Will definitely come back

Awesome sandwiches, fresh bread, loaded with meat. They could put more lettuce and tomato on their cold subs. Ask for sauce on side to go orders to avoid soggy sandwiches. The Italian (tomaso?) is a great sandwich. For $10 it's a little over priced but then again what isn't these days. It's way better than any other sub sandwich you can get in durango and the line out the door speaks to that. SPECIAL MESSAGE TO Tom's Deli.... First time customers....came back again the following day. Tried their vegetarian sandwich and found it delicious. I'd like to know which dressing is used or if they make it in-house. It feels bright and clean inside. The staff works quickly together. I think they attract more locals than tourists and that's always a good sign.

Good vibes. Happy service. Tasty Sammi's. Had lunch there 3x during our 5 day stay. Turkey Avo is loaded with fresh tasty Turkey, yummy Avo and for me, the great add was the sprouts. Had it both on Hoagie and Sourdough. Both great. Daughter had Pro Veggie with added Turkey (she likes veggies, she's not vegetarian/vegan). Also great. One day had a nice Oskar Blues Hazy while we worked for about 2 hours on laptops. Again, good vibe. Def recommend.

This place is fantastic. Hands down one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The fried eggplant was better and crispier than most Italian places I've eaten at. The bread was good and the condiments were tasty. Highly recommend.

Love this place! The staff is always really chill and nice. My favorite is the green Chile poutine and I am SO sad anytime they are out. Good green chile.

This place is always great for a consistently good lunch! The Rueben and Incognito are our go-tos. If we see Molly back there we know it will be extra good. She is absolute magic on the flat top. Each sandwich that touches her hands is made with love and you can taste it.

Food is always good but the last two times I've been there they were out of bread. It's summer, it's a tourist town..why aren't you prepared?

My husband and I bought 2 delicious sandwiches from Tom's and ate them in the nearby park. The sandwiches were fresh and the service was quick, We would definitely eat there again.

I've lived in Durango as for three years now and just discovered Toms last week. By far the best spot in Durango as far as vibes and quality. Always excellent service and the sandwiches are the same price as Jimmy Johns but double the quantity.

Not typically a sandwich person but my family Insisted on trying it out and let me tell you this, oh my goodness the Blt was like nothing I've tasted it was absolutely delicious!! Crunchy tasty unique ingredients I actually finished off the entire sandwich which I never do. We all enjoyed each order and the consensus is that we all highly recommend, u won't be sorry !! You can thank me now :-)

This place is usually amazing but we went tonight, it was not busy and it took a bit. My sandwich was missing half of what I ordered on it I had to go up and ask for things on the side to make my sandwich complete. Asked for one to go that came out ready to eat. Just not what we are used to like we didn't matter there late because we came at 5:20 closing up shop. Kinda disappointing.

Perfect shop to stop into for hot or cold sandwiches. The only deli in Durango. A medium sized menu where every sandwich is as delicious as the next. Fries have a special seasoning, fresh cut daily and fried on the spot. They also have wild fries with bacon and other toppings. The only place in town to get authentic poutine! And, southwest style. Fresh, warm cookies in the morning. Their bread is hand kneaded and baked every day. Hoagies and sourdough, made with 4 ingredients. They keep it simple. Many different meat choices, all quality. Owner is French Canadian and Tom's was opened by two Durango locals. Affordable. Wheelchair accessible. Lots of seating in different varieties. Great wide open windows with a view of the mountains and ridges. Located on North Main Street. Everything is spotless, all the stainless steel shines. They sell beer on tap and multiple flavors of Zuberfizz soda, a local Durango company. They also sell many canned and bottled drinks, including Ska beer which is also a local company. They have kids options and drinks. Miss Vickie's chips. You can see the chefs making your sandwich on the line and grill, all are very friendly and have great recommendations. Lots of regulars (including myself), and they have a loyalty rewards program. The crowd ranges from blue collar workers, first responders, outdoor athletes, tourists, older couples, young people, and those lured from Wendy's. Outside they have many places to park and bike racks as well. They have 2 private bathrooms which are kept clean. I think I've covered everything, quality business, quality owners, quality people, quality food.

Your sandwiches are amazing. And the super friendly staff is such a treat that Durango has lost touch with. Keep doing your thing!
