Tom's Pizza

Tom’s Pizza offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. We especially appreciated the outdoor tables with umbrellas—and the fact that dogs are welcome was a big plus for our family! Located right next to the town's visitor center and a few charming gift shops, Tom’s is easy to find and has ample parking. The place was clean and welcoming, with internet access for customers and plenty of funny signs at the order desk to keep you entertained while waiting for your food. We ordered an 18-inch Meat Lovers pizza and a 9-inch garlic fingers for $44. The crust was thin and crispy, and they definitely didn’t skimp on the toppings—everything was generous and flavorful. You can buy a whole pizza or just a slice, depending on your appetite. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary water, and for those who enjoy a drink, local beer is also available for purchase. Our whole family enjoyed the food and experience. Tom’s Pizza is a great spot for a casual meal, and we’d definitely recommend it to others visiting the area!

A friend from Truro told he about the his place. Insisted I try it when I’m in NS. This place serves amazing pizza! We just had a slice and it tasted really good. Will he back for take out tomorrow.

Tom's is a staple and honestly, it's probably the best pizza in Nova Scotia. If you're heading along the highway, make it a point to stop into Baddeck and grab a slice. Quality ingredients. I ordered 2 slices. I had to stop myself from ordering 2 more.

After a certain time in the evening, there is no option for food in Baddeck or surroundings except for Tom’s, and I think that’s a good thing. I grabbed some slices from here a couple of times over the summer and every time, they were delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient, and there’s plenty of parking and seating. It’s also very conveniently located to pretty much everything in the town of Baddeck. My only minor complaint is that they have almost nothing on the menu except for pizza, but at least the pizza is good!

Seems like a great family owned business. Friendly staff. Tasty pepperoni pizza. Solid deal of $6 CAD for a large slice and a canned soda (Pepsi products) Relaxed, chill atmosphere. Loads of great beers from local/Nova Scotia breweries. I enjoyed the Black Angus IPA. Nice chill patio dining. Classic rock/pop playing on the speakers.

Toms Pizza is hands down my favorite spot for a perfect pie. The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting you with a smile that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The pizza itself is fantastic. My go-to is the Toms Special on a thin crust, and I always ask for it well done. If you're looking for a great local pizza joint with amazing food and even better service, Toms Pizza is a must-try. You won't be disappointed!

Omg it's amazing! Came here based on reviews about it having the best gluten free pizza ever, which is true, but the regular pizza is also one of the best ever! I ordered gluten free crust and my boyfriend ordered regular crust. He couldn't tell the difference between the two and wondered if his was also gluten free! It's a really busy place, locals and tourists keeping it very steady. I hope to return to the area again, this would be on our list.

After a long day of hiking and touring the area, our combination 14 in pizza hit the comfort spot. Fresh and tasty. Friendly staff on the phone for our to go order. Tom's is a great casual & cozy option

My husband and I arrived to Nova Scotia late, most places were closed so we opted for a fast easy favourite- Pizza! Our expectations were low, we were tired and hangry from a long drive and not expecting a great dinner, but holy smokes, Toms Pizza exceeded our expectations and the pizza was SO good! Service was fast, everyone was so friendly & their little restaurant is so stinkin cute! Not to mention a super reasonable price!

Not the best pizza I've ever had, but it provided a welcome break from fish fish fish. This is definitely a place that locals love -- lots popping in to pick up takeout.

Was the only place open when we rolled into Baddeck but so happy we tried it. Pizza was DELICIOUS and service was fast and friendly. Best pizza we've had in awhile.

Pretty decent pizza. Loads of cheese and toppings, cheap. Nice you can walk in and get a slice anytime. This is what all the locals recommended to us. Very appreciative of the free WiFi also.

Maybe the best pizza we've ever had. We were in the area for two nights...stopped by the first night and had pizza. It was so delicious we came back the next night and had the same one again! Ready to drive back up there from North Carolina just to eat their pizza. We WILL be back!

The pizza that we ordered tasted amazing. The combination pizza is what we ordered and it was very cheesy and the dough was soft. The staff was very friendly and I recommend this pizza parlor to anyone who is looking for an affordable place to eat at.

Really good meat-lovers pizza and garlic fingers. (If you are picking up to eat at your hotel - ask for plates and paper towels or you will have to break the boxes up to use as your plates as we did LOL). The pizza was very filling. I only ate one slice with many garlic fingers of course. So we had lots of leftovers (2 hungry people ordered 1 medium pizza and 1 medium g.f.). We were super hungry when we picked it up and therefore everything was yummy! BUT it was sooo good I wanted to eat it for breakfast BUT I didn't because other Yelpers said I had to get scones at Bean There - so I did. And then an hour later, I dug into the pizza leftovers and, even cold, it was delicious! It was definitely worth the price and the wait (there's no delivery and it was pouring rain and I had no car until 9:30pm). And don't forget to ask for plates and napkins if you need them. Bon appetit!

The veggie and cheese pizzas we tried were amazing. Definitely enjoyed the live music. Very good customer care. The place was very clean and family friendly.

Fun atmosphere with live music that wasn't so lound you couldn't continue to carry on a conversation. Great food.

Word of mouth got us here and our mouths are smiling! Loaded combo by the slice ready in a flash. Walked over after ceiledh late on Sunday night. Perfect!

I was in Baddeck in May before the high season started. This was one of the few eateries open. And of the few, this was about the only one that stayed open past 8.00pm. After a long day driving around the Cabot Trail, this place was just what I needed -- it was open and just across from my hotel. The service was good, the pizza was average. They serve their purpose.

This was by far the busiest restaurant in Baddeck when we visited on a summer Sunday evening, which is usually a good sign. And it was! Pizza can be ordered half/half with different toppings, decent beer and wine selections, and it seemed the entire family was on deck working hard. The pizza was excellent with a nice sauce, not your usual Boston pizza pre-packaged gunk, the crust was delicious, and the toppings just right. Friendly staff, great place to enjoy pizza.

Best pizza on the planet. I live 2 hours away but it is worth the drive. The staff is very friendly too. This is my favourite pizza place, I highly recommend it!

OK we are fussy. Very fussy. We have two sets of friends that own their own bistros, so we really know what goes in to deliver great food and service. Tom's Pizza is with out a doubt one of the best places for eat in or takeaway pizza we have ever experienced. The pizza has a wonderful thin (but not too thin) and very crispy base. The toppings are fresh and generous, but not so over the top that the pizza flops. They also serve a variety of local craft beers from Big Spruce Brewing which are the perfect accompaniment to the pizza. The staff are friendly and welcoming. All in all a great experience.

I was on a trip and most times when a group of 64 people come in the restaurants are normally unhappy with our presence or just uncomplimentary. This was the total opposite here they were friendly and there was even a cute little girl selling tickets for her base ball team! The pizza was also splendid.

Absolutely horrible, disgusting food, burnt pizza, horrible staff that are very rude to patrons. People said it was great but I was left very disappointed. Would not recommend and the wifi sucked!

We ordered a couple of slices to go which hit the spot after a very long day driving the Cabot Trail. Pizza was excellent - crisp deep pan base and generous toppings. Staff were sweet. Well worth a visit!

I stopped here for a quick bite to eat before hitting the Cabot Trail. Nothing special, but the pizza was decent. I took advantage of a pizza and beverage lunch special, and the owners were nice enough to give me a discount as they didn't think my slices of pizza were big enough. A good place to go if you want something quick.

This pizza is awesome. Had the meat lovers, I never finish the crust but on this one I did. I would highly recommend this place.

Very good pizza for the price. The Meat Lovers was excellent and loaded with all the good stuff. The only down side preventing 5 stars is that they don't deliver, but it was worth the drive in though.

Mediocre pizza. Probably better than frozen. Certainly better than the really lame pizza we had on PEI earlier in the trip.
