We were so happy our Travel Agent selected this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were outstanding and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of selection and the afternoon tea was always something to look forward to. Lovely spacious room with all the amenities you need. The street has very little road traffic as the hotel is opposite the Italian Embassy and therefore very safe. Like a lot of areas, the streets around are a little steep, therefore not suitable if you having walking limitations. We would highly recommend this hotel

Located near the Italian Embassy, Galata Tower and Istikal Cadessi. Walking distance to shops and the tram- an easy 15 min tram ride to the old city sites. . The staff was super attentive to every need. The Concierge service was excellent. Prior to arrival, Kismet, Atilla, and Sinan was super helpful and spent a lot of time helping me with arranging tours while I was planning the trip. Sent me tour info and a lot of detailed info from the travel company for out of the local area tours and flight info.|We were very fortunate that the hotel had availability to upgrade the room - we had a suite facing the school and it was still quiet. The rooms were very spacious as compared to our previous room in the old city. Nice complimentary afternoon tea time in the lounge. |The staff took care of every need- local dinner reservations, airport transfers, etc. The highlight of our stay was actually dining at Nicole's, the rooftop restaurant. Being a foodie, I was very impressed with the creativity and quality of the food, the presentation, wine pairing, ambience, and the magnificent view. Everything was perfect. ||We booked two private tours- Old City (Sun) and Local Food Tour (Mon) with same guide. The tour guide was very nice, professional and informative. Planned to see the Palace, Cistern, Sophia and the Blue Mosque on city tour on day one. We wished she had let us know that the lines on Saturday were crazy since we had total flexibility rot o as to make adjustments. we would should have swapped tours (Food Tour on Sunday, City tour on Monday ) OR started earlier, at 9am. By the time we got in to Sophia, we were too late to see the Blue Mosque, which we added to the next days itinerary. Food tour -we sampled at three great places and guide saved us a lot of time guiding us through trams and ferries over to the Asian side. I actually got more exposure to, and sampled more Turkish food at the Turkish breakfasts at the hotels we stayed at and as we travelled through Capadoccia. I would recommend a more structured Food tour if you are only in Istanbul for a short time and not traveling on through Turkey. |We had to get to the airport for a flight to other parts of Turkey during a holiday when the city was being shut down to traffic. The hotel was amazing suggesting we leave at 3:30 am to bypass road closures and sent us off with a lovely boxed Turkish breakfast. |I would make sure you allow for over an hour to enjoy the Turkish breakfasts as they are elaborate.

Stellar experiences with this hotel and staff before, during, and after our visit. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough - it's a perfect option. The tucked away location in an otherwise vibrant, fun neighborhood was perfect. Every member of the staff was kind, highly responsive, and generous. The rooms were spotless, spacious, fully appointed, and incredibly beautiful and comfortable.

This boutique hotel is spacious, comfortable and extremely conveniently located. However, what makes it special is its staff. They genuinely care and go out of their ways to provide high touch personalized service. I would highlight the concierges and the rooftop restaurant staff. They are wonderful! Hands down an awesome hotel you should not overlook!

Istanbul is a big intense city and for any traveler the TomTom suites are an oasis. We had a large group in multiple rooms. The rooms are large and of high quality. The Penthouse suite next to the restaurant has great views over Istanbul. The staff are incredibly helpful and nice and speak excellent English. Afternoon tea is excellent as is breakfast up on the top floor in the restaurant. The hotel is located very close to Istiklal Cd, one of the main shopping and pedestrian malls in the area. It is also close to the Karakoy area on the Bosphorus. An area with many great restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and we will be returning!

I choose this hotel because the location was promising and the rating was at a very good range. I was not disappointed at all and I can only highly recommend Tomtom Suite.Every employee was highly motivated, friendly and helpful. I was able to receive valuable tips. The standard suite was generously designed and super clean. There are cozy restaurants and cafes near the Tontom Suite. Particularly noteworthy are the interesting shops. You can walk to the tram that leads directly to the Grand Bazar or to the harbour stop. Overall, I like to thank the whole Tomtom very much. I will come again.

Tomtom suites was an outstanding hotel, in terms of location, decor & staff . The staff offered us consistent ,amazing service & hospitality with a sense of humor too ! I stayed for a 4 night break with friends and we all agreed on this. We would highly recommend this hotel. The local area has a cool vibe with lots of bars, restaurants and independent retailers. Their restaurant Nicole on the top floor has a Michelin star. The food was excellent -a tasting menu and the views are stunning overlooking the Bosphorus. Breakfast is wonderful too in the same location.

We had a little over 20 hours in Istanbul, so we decided to spend a night at Tomtom Suites so that we can go dine at Nicole, which used to be our favourite restaurant in the world! Given the short amount of time, and in perpetual-heavy-traffic Istanbul, it was a no-brainer for us. ||I had requested for a room/suite not facing the front, which is the Italian Embassy and Kindergarten, since I am told that it can be noisy when kids arrive early in the morning. With most of their room categories facing the front, we settled for a Standard Suite which overlooks the back of other buildings. It turned out to be really quiet. ||The room was furnished handsomely, with vibrant and colourful artwork on the walls, a comfortable bed and enough space for a night or two. This being the smallest 'suite' in size, the slightly separated living area was small & awkward to use since there's not really enough room to 'lounge' around in, especially with the television in the bedroom area. The layout also fell rather short where the wardrobe area right at the entrance is not actually near the bathroom at all. And one other minor point to do with layout, the suite we got had the bed right next to the door of the bathroom leaving absolutely no space for a side table or any ledge at all for you to put your phone or drink, or anything else you may need for the night. A ledge above the headboard would solve this problem. In the end, I think the higher category suites would have offered a much more user-friendly and expansive space, with a proper double sofa to relax in, especially if one intends to spend quite some time in the room. ||Though the hotel is small, it exudes a level of class and quiet luxury missing in many big hotels. We had some snacks over tea time at the lovely library when we arrived and had breakfast upstairs in the gorgeous restaurant with great views of the Bosphorus. We even met Fuad, who served us way back in 2015 when we first dined at Nicole! ||One more tip - it is advisable to whatsapp the hotel as you are arriving, esp. if you are in a cab, so that the security at the entrance of the private road can remove the roadblocks to enable the car to drive right up to the front of the hotel. Otherwise, it can be chaotic and taxing to be dropped off in the middle of a very busy road and to have to haul your luggage up a 100m incline (as with all streets in the area!) to get to the hotel.

We loved our stay at TomTom Suites so much. It's chic, clean, and quiet. Even though it's part of the Hyatt chain, it has a very private vibe, not like other big resorts or hotels. It made me feel at home. But the best part was the staff. They were friendly and the best. They were so kind and upgraded us to a deluxe suite, provided welcome drinks, and not to mention the fabulous breakfast. The hotel is located in the Beyoğlu neighborhood of Istanbul. It's across the street from the Italian consulate in a very quiet area. However, it's only around 15 minutes walk to Galata Tower, Taksim Square, Karaköy, Cihangir, tram, and subway stations.

Great & super friendly staff.... very accommodating and welcoming. Breakfast is superb. And the restaurant on the rooftop has amazing view . Our 2nd time here and highly definitely recommend to stay here.

My stay at the TomTom Suites Istanbul was a memorable one, especially for a first timer in Turkey. I booked the hotel as the location was a perfect two minute walk to Istiklal Street and a ton of major tourist attractions. It took about and 1 hour and some change to get to my hotel from IST airport. It was also rush hour when I arrived. My private transfer can't get in the alley due to it being secured as the hotel is in front of an Italian embassy. Be prepared to walk to the entrance a bit. Check in process was smooth. The first front desk person who I transacted with gladly helped me navigate the hotel and areas I wanted to see. I was upgraded to a really huge room complete with a work area, receiving area, large bed and a sparkling bathroom that had spa like features! I liked the array of toiletries and that the room provided a robe and slippers. The room has really lush modern paintings and was very colorful! I had forgotten to pack an adapter and the front desk gladly gave me one to use and keep so that was really nice of them. In the morning, there's complimentary breakfast. I chose to sit by the window so I could adorn the beautiful view of the Bosphorus River. The breakfast spread was phenomenal! It was a lot of food for one person and their coffee was amazing! The servers were very accommodating as well! I want to give high credits to another front desk agent who helped me throughout my stay, Nurol. I was very hesitant to take cabs due to the negative connotation attached to it. Nurol helped me get to the pier to catch my Bosphorus tour and was kind enough to tell me of Turkey's history and some other sights to see. He was also very helpful in booking my hammam bath experience!!! Overall, I really loved my stay at TomTom. The hotel is super modern and the elevators had a Parisian vibe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is private as well with less than 30 suites in the whole hotel. I will definitely be back!!! Awesome location! Awesome experience!!!! Only thing though is the central ac and heat didn't really help much. I felt my room was quite warm but it wasn't really an issue.

Tomtom Suites is everything it purports to be. It is the utmost in understated luxury with delicious food and attentive yet unobtrusive service. The location is quiet in contrast to the tourist areas of Istanbul. Everything was more than comfortable and, unlike other "five star" institutions, the people are very approachable, welcoming and helpful, especially Mehmet and Alp.
