Ordered L.A. Galbi + Beef rib soup with dried cabbage in soybean broth + Spicy rice cake with vegetables and fish cake. Good portion and very tasty. Good vibes and service. Comfort Korean food. A great place to tickle your taste buds when you are in Colorado Springs

Google
Prices have gotten far too high, but still the best 한국 meals in town. The servers are delightful, and the business / restrooms are always cleaned spotless. 고맢습니다

Google
Amy was such a delight! Very helpful in picking my foods, especially since this was my first time having Korean food! I tried both the ginger sweet tea (delicious!) and the hot barley tea (my new favorite) and took home Yukgaejang & Vegetable Mandu and was thoroughly happy with both! I’m so excited to come back and try more food!

Michael Fearrington

Google
The food was extraordinary and the service commendable. And the price was so much lower than the quality of both. They were patient with us, being our "first time" as they put it... With a smile. And when I noticed we walked in 5 minutes before closing and they did not even mention it... 🤦.I never felt hurried once... On ove the best dining experiences I've had lately

Google
My partner and I both got severe stomach upsets after eating the food. It seems like they might be reheating their bulgogi. They're not particularly friendly, they take a long time to take orders even when there aren't many people, and the food comes out very slowly. They don't say hi or thank you at all. NOT KIND AT ALL!! It really doesn't feel like a typical Korean restaurant. The service is poor, the food isn't good, and the bulgogi was excessively sweet. There's nothing to redeem it—neither good taste nor friendly service. It's surprising that it's even busy. I definitely wouldn't visit here again.

Google
Good Korean food in Colorado spring not the best but for the price if you do bbq you are better off looking for an all you can eat it is quite pricey for the bbq menu.

Kristina Stockburger

Google
Delicious food and super friendly staff! Food came out very quickly and everything we ate was great. We highly recommend the short ribs and bulgogi.

Google
Simple, casual, and family friendly, this Korean restaurant in C-Springs reminded me of the mom and pop small places in the suburbs outside Seoul. No frills, but good food. Tasty and plentiful side dishes. I noticed that the regulars were able to negotiate for some of their favorite side dishes, but for me they were all tasty. Nice selection of cold beers and soft drinks. I had an amazing bowl of noodle soup.

Yelp
I wanted to update this review and say the food is still just as amazing as ever. The consistency and quality of food they serve is always top notch. I don't know if I've ever had a bad meal here. Tong tong will always have a special place in my heart and will probably always remain in my top 5 favorite restaurants in the Springs.

Yelp
First off, I just wanna say shoutout to the sweet ladies that work there. They served everything with a smile and made sure that I was doing okay throughout my whole meal. I went during lunch time so, it wasn't too busy yet but as I walked in... more customers started arriving. I see why this place has gotten good reviews. Not only the service is great but the food is also really good. I love how they included a banchan with your meal and the beef rib soup (galbitang) is sooo rich!! The kimchi pancake is okay to me, I've had better but the soup!! Omg so so yummy!

Yelp
Best Korean food I've had in Colorado Springs. Got their lunch special of Bulgogi & Japchae - so delicious! It came with white rice and a delicious broth on the side. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Was craving Korean food after visiting garden of the gods. The restaurants in a kind of rundown strip mall so I was a little skeptical when driving in into the parking lot. I was greeted right away with a friendly smile from the owner. We came during lunch and they had lunch specials. I ordered the LA style galbi and my husband ordered the pork neck. Meal came with rice, some soup broth, and six Bonchon items. It was a good size for the price and everything tasted really good. The owner was very friendly and checked on us frequently offering to refill our Bonchon. She was also very nice with her little son and making him laugh and smile. Bathrooms were very clean. Overall 4.4/5

Yelp
Everything is incredible. The atmosphere, the service, the food!!!! Oh my! Go with more people and order more stuff.

Yelp
A client suggested we check this spot out. It's located in a strip mall. We arrived around noon, and it was already buzzing with customers. The vibe is super clean, and they play the usual Korean restaurant tunes. The staff is really friendly. I went for the Bulgogi Beef, while my wife chose the Seafood Tofu Soup for lunch. The side dishes were so tasty that we polished them off quickly and even ordered more. The Bulgogi beef paired with the sides and rice was absolutely delicious--classic Korean flavors! My wife really enjoyed her tofu soup, especially on a chilly day. We'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Food was really good and they had really great service! Super warm and welcoming staff! Ambiance was also great

Yelp
Found this place on my business trip when I was really craving Korean food. It's a kind of hidden restaurant in a strip mall. I went on a week night, so it wasn't busy at all. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice - a classic Korean setting which made me feel very comfortable. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. As soon as I sat down, they took my order since I knew exactly what I wanted and brought me a variety of delicious side dishes (my favorite part of going to Korean restaurants). For food, I got the Kimchi Jiigae (Kimchi tofu soup), which was a very comforting and filling meal. The overall price point of the restaurant was higher than most Korean restaurants that I had been to (even for LA), but it was a comforting meal that I needed.

Yelp
I spent two years in Korea so I am familiar with Korean food. I love Tong Tong and have eaten there many times as well as ordered to go meal that are perfect every time. You do pay a premium price but you will not find a better Korean restaurant in Colorado Springs. I have so many favorite meals that is impossible to choose one as the best. Beef bulgogi or kalbi and all the sides to include kimchi are my standards along with steamed rice and the soup of the day. The meats are great not too spicy, the sides are a bit spicer, but that is why I love Korean food.

Yelp
The food was so good, Bulgogi Japchae was delicious! The service was awesome, super quick to get out our appetizers and lunch! Enjoyed my Tong Tong experience very much!
google avatar

Yelp
This was an amazing find as we passed through Colorado Springs. The pork Bulgoki was delicious. The mandu was homemade and great. The sides were also exceptional. The staff was courteous and efficient. Overall, a great experience.

Yelp
Stopped by during lunch to pick up food for the fam. Cozy little spot, very friendly and accommodating staff. Prices are very reasonable and food was absolutely delicious. Ordered to go and they even included all the sides. Great little place, highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area. My family and I will definitely be in again next time we're around the Springs.
google avatar

Yelp
Love their kimchi and soups! Very friendly service who even brought us extra bowls to share, although mine ended up being too good to share!

Melissa C.

Yelp
The food is sooooo good and the people who work there are the nicest people. The cinnamon tea is amazing and the food is all so good.
google avatar

Yelp
Tong tong is extremely delicious and will fill you up. If you're looking for some authentic flavors of Korea in Colorado Springs, this is the closest you'll get. it's a little whole in the wall but it was clean and the service was great! We got the bulgogi bibimbap and the beef short ribs. It is a little pricey, but worth it. We will for sure be back!
google avatar

Andrea L.

Yelp
Interior was decorated perfectly bringing a warm ambiance. The service was immaculate and efficient. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Food was amazing, high quality and exactly the experience you should be looking for when visiting a Korean restaurant. If you're near the area this is a wonderful spot to dine in with great prices and great people!
google avatar

Kanoelani A.

Yelp
One of the best Korean restaurants I've been to in the Springs. The pork bulgogi is tender with so much flavor!
google avatar

Shirley R.

Yelp
The absolute best! The service is great and friendly. The food is plentiful and it is such a nice inviting space we come here every time we are in town and we live in California.
google avatar

Lourdes G.

Yelp
best. Korean. food. ever. I absolutely love and adore the entire staff. gentle, welcoming and friendly. aesthetically, you're at home. bulgogi is my go-to. exploding in flavor, juice and onions. all the banchan will burst on your taste buds. duh. soju available. terra beer. by the airport, worth the drive. music? I leave shazamming at least 1 song to get on my Korean music tip. ok you get it, hands down best restaurant in the springs. enjoy. 5 freakin stars.

Erin H.

Yelp
So amazing and flavorful! A must for special occasions and go hungry, you won't need to eat again for the day. Amazing service and knowledgeable staff.
google avatar

Yelp
The Galbi is Aaamazing!! The steamed rice and wonton soup left a lot to be desired though. The pre-meal appetizers of spicy cucumber, cabbage, vinegar spinach, and vinegar cucumber we really great. I didn't eat the kitchen as I don't care for radish. When the Galbi came, it was so scrumptious. I wish I could've taken some home. I recommend this restaurant for good Korean food.

Hailey H.

Yelp
We love this restaurant! The food, beer and soju are delicious! I always walk out so full - the portion sizes are amazing. The service and ambiance are fantastic. Highly recommend this place!!

Yelp
Just moved to the area and was craving Korean food - this place didn't disappoint! My order was take-out and took roughly 15/20 minutes to be ready. The serving sizes are generous! I got the Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbap which is rice, veggies, and bulgogi topped with a friend egg. This dish was overwhelming (in a good way) with flavor, would absolutely order it again. Of course, going to a Korean restaurant, I had to order kimbap which was pretty standard/what you'd expect. The soup that was included was a *little* watered down but still good, plus you get an arrangement of different food with your order! In total, I spent about $36 and have enough food for lunch tomorrow. Great place! Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a nice Korean spot.

Paul C.

Yelp
Went here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised how huge the portions were. I had the bulgogi with Japchae and it was delicious. My son had the buckwheat noodles and he liked them. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I've never had the full Dinner experience like this. Got to try so many tasty things. Ate bulgolgi and it was delish. We love family owned local restaurants
google avatar

Yelp
Bulgogi was very good. I enjoyed the appetizers as well. Will definitely be ordering from here again in the future.

Yelp
Amazing food and nice staff. Been going to Tong Tong for over 10 years and have never had a bad meal!
google avatar

Yelp
I have gone here a few more times since my first review. Updating my review because this restaurant deserves 5 stars! The food is SO delicious!!

Sandrine C.

Yelp
Always flavorful and nice amount of spice, if you want more spice you can always ask for the sauce. Friendly service and beautiful decor.
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
This is a legit Korean restaurant that can compete with the better Korean restaurants in Aurora. The service was friendly and their selection of banchans was very good. My son had the Bulgogi Beef platter. It was a good amount of meat. It was a touch sweeter than I prefer, but he enjoyed it immensely. My husband had the Dolsot Bibimbap. It is a lovely rice bowl that you stir up and add as much (or little) hot sauce as you'd like. My Kimchi-jjigae (kimchi soup) was also excellent.
google avatar

Aaron M.

Yelp
Great food and service. The place is authentic, so if you are expecting super sweet bulgogi, this place is not for you. Great flavor overall.
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
Very busy place. But you can smell the restaurant from the parking lot. Sooo delicious!!! I got my food to go, I feel like if I were to dine in it would've been better. Kalbi ribs were pretty good, and the bulgogi was delicious. They also give all the extra sides when ordering to go.
google avatar

Tiffany G.

Yelp
We are from Texas, my boyfriends mom owns a Korean restaurant so finding food that is as good as hers is hard to find. This place absolutely is amazing and is as great as my boyfriends moms food. The Kimichi pancake was crispy, was not heavy, and very good. The mandu was delicious. The soups had great flavor and were made to perfection. The cold soup had a sweeter flavor but it was still very delicious and filling. Service was great, if I'm in Colorado again I absolutely would come here
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Authentic Korean food in Colorado? Yes please! I had the bulgogi and a side of mandu. Excellent. Just yummy. The banchan were also excellent, although I enjoyed the kimchee more than the cut veggies in some sort of dressing. They have all the Korean beers and soju if you're of a mind. I was stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey by the time I left, and I enjoyed every single bite.

Pamela

Yelp
We have been coming here for over 10 years. It was our favorite Korean restaurant anywhere, and we've been to a lot across the country. Not sure if they changed ownership or cooks but it's just not as good as it used to be. So sad. Unfortunately we will not be back

Jeff B.

Yelp
Great food and service too. Bill came to $59. We'll be back for a lunch special sometime. She had the stir fry octopus and I had the bowl.
google avatar

Courtney B.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely amazing. Best Korean I've had, in town. Prices for lunch were right, although portion a bit small (if you have a larger appetite, just prep for that). Otherwise, if you're in the area and want some good Korean food, try this place!
google avatar

Seth N.

Yelp
Pretty delicious food and very reasonably priced. The service was fast! We had a large party of people go and they were very accommodating. I though it was great
google avatar

Amy E.

Yelp
Omg omg omg me and my daughter gained a few pounds after eating because the food was so good we scarfed down everything we ordered and we ordered a lot. While it doesn't look impressive from the outside and it's not fancy on the inside... it was phenomenal! I fully recommend the fried mandu, ttobboki, the gimbap and any of their soups! Everything was perfection! We will be back!
google avatar

Jeff P.

Yelp
Great food. I am no authority on authentic Korean cuisine. But I know what I like. Great food, lovely selection of kimchi appetizers, friendly staff, and reasonably priced. This is a hidden gem in S.E. Colorado Springs that you should definitely put on your "to try" list.
google avatar

Sonia L.

Yelp
I drove from Pueblo to find this gem of a place since I could not find Korean food there. Soo worth it! The smells that woke me up as I passed through those doors! Service was good for a July 4. I have not had good Korean food in a long while...years really. The spicy rice cake and fish cake with vegetables was so tasty! I would come back for that alone. I also had a soft tofu soup with ground seafood and pork. They put an egg is there and it was delicious! My new favorite thing to eat. It came with a side of rice. I left nothing behind as I want my leftovers for dinner later. Although I cannot eat much in one sitting, I will take whats left if it was great. And this was not a disappointment. I will be back!
google avatar

Vince R.

Yelp
Consistently good food and service. The best assortment of side dishes and refills if u like. Competitive prices and easy parking. My overall favorite Korean restaurant in a town with lots of good ones.

Lisa L.

Yelp
Did was delicious. Great portions and love all the veggie sides. Employees were very sweet and professional. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Randall B.

Yelp
Interesting cuisine. Quite expensive. Portions are good. Fermented sides and tofu side were all quite interesting flavor wise. Not sure if this justifies the price. Lunch specials seem more reasonably priced. Some entrees were $30+! If you've never had Korean food, it is rather bland but also light and on the healthy side. Your gut will wonder what the heck you are doing when you taste three different kimchi and then follow it with some seaweed salad and beef broth with radish. We came hungry and left stuffed. Not sure if we will be back, but maybe!
google avatar

Tbura B.

Yelp
This place has been on my list forever and finally I made it. Yay! I liked the variety of foods on the menu here. Very well covered what you can think of for the signature Korean foods. We know this place can be super busy during the busy hours so we arrived almost 4 pm. Good timing as we got seated right away. My favorite item was the soybean seafood soup as I think not many Korean restaurants here offer this. It tasted great. The grilled meat items were pre-cooked then put on sizzling plates. Our pork was marinated well but not hot enough. The grilled fish was delicious. think I agree with some reviews about the service here was somewhat problematic. They are definitely understaffed especially during peak hours. Our water was never refilled as two servers were running around taking care of many tables. We needed to walk to get an attention to get more water.
google avatar

Toby S.

Yelp
Food was really good; so glad I found this spot when I'm out at Fort Carson. I was about to give 5 stars but the female waiter there rolled her eyes when I asked for a table for 1 person. I am not sure why she did that but I found it very rude regardless of her previous experiences. I even asked her if the place was closing? If so, I could go elsewhere. I used to be a waiter, I understand where she was coming from but as I was a customer today, I didn't feel welcomed at all. Hope the management will take this for consideration.
google avatar

Dan D.

Yelp
Excellent Korean meal in Colorado Springs, CO. Looking for a place to eat near the airport, we found quite a few ethnic restaurants that fit our fancy, given we love multi-cultural foods. We picked Tong Tong because of Yelp and were pleasantly surprised. Their food choices were not extensive, and a bit repetitive (substitute meats for basically the same dish), but what we ordered was absolutely delicious and well spiced. The Korean tradition of serving small bites along with the meal was definitely appreciated, and they brought extra of the ones we ate quickly due to how good they were. They had some interesting Korean beers, and their recommendations didn't match my preferences, but it was still "all good"
google avatar

Tammy S.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this restaurant and it ended up being so great. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. The kimchi jjigae was some of the best we've had and the kimchi pancake was on point. Also the banchan was so fresh and delicious.
google avatar

John F.

Yelp
Banchan (side dishes) are always excellent and my favorite lunch dish is the grilled pork neck. Served with rice and a soup. Very reasonable and great service.
