Tong Xin Ru Yi Traditional Hot Pot

Left for lunch late, so we went to this place that serves hotpot as well as ala carte dishes, & coz we had a large group, they even opened a private room for us! We had the rather spicy Dory fish with pickled cabbage soup, & the tangy Fish with tomato soup (which had more leafy vegetables). The Shake-shake Japanese black pork, recommended by my lunchmate who came before, was tasty with the fried garlic & fun to shake! Besides that, the Sichuan chicken noodles was quite addictive, with a slight numb feeling. Decor by the entrance was cute too! IG @pingguo301

I love the pickled vegetables with pork rib soup. This place differs from the usual chain hotpots as they focus on the soups and main dishes. Come here for good food and a good time. A great value add bring that the sauce is complimentary and not an additional charge. Angus beef and black pork are a must order. I also ordered brown sugar cake which was mindblowing

We ordered a yuan yang (split) hotpot and overall had a really good experience. The soup bases were excellent, especially the fish soup, which I highly recommend the broth was flavorful and the fish was very fresh and tasty. The chicken was decent, nothing outstanding but fine. The sliced meats felt quite expensive and not very value for money, so I’d suggest ordering fewer meats and adding more vegetables instead. The vegetables absorbed the flavors from both soup bases really well and were delicious. Overall, the soup bases really stood out, and it’s still a place I’d recommend trying.

The hotpot is very enjoyable with quality food. Received warm and good service from the staff who was managing our order. Our best order was the milk tea and wagyu A5 sliced beef - it melts in your mouth!

Really enjoyed dining at 同心如意火锅! 😋 The food was fresh and tasty, soup base super flavourful, and the ambience was nice and cozy. Service was great too — staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a place I’d come back to for hotpot! 🔥🍲

Food is delicious–the snakehead fish was cooked perfectly. But I couldn't quite place if I liked the tomato soup which was sweet and yet salty. The tofu in the soup was excellent. Adding the yuba was a good idea. The prawn paste fritters were also delicious and its fragrance was enticing when it arrived! The lotus root appetiser had a very subtle flavour.

This place came highly recommended by some of my colleagues. Truly did not disappoint. The service and food was amazing! We were invited into a private room for spending above sgd300 which was a really nice touch. I'd say order the fried egg and the fried mint leaves. Definitely worth coming back here..

One of the more original hot pot restaurants around. Sober and beautiful interior. Delish and innovative soups and dishes, eg. garlic oysters, rabbit, frog legs, kidney, tripes, in addition to the 'normal' offerings. Tong Xin Ru Yi is the Ruby King Kong of hot pots in Singapore.

Probably my favourite authentic Chinese hot pot place with amazing side dishes. My favourite is the garlicky yabbies great service esp if you're a regular though I've never had bad service there. The aircon is a tad cold so bring a jacket. Oh! Don't forget to ask for aprons... it can get deliciously messy
