The 11 Best Dallas Drive-Thru Restaurants | Eater Dallas

"With options like banana pudding, cinnamon chip, and dairy-free raspberry buttercream, choosing a flavor at this Richardson creamery is truly the most difficult part. Order a scoop (or three) in a cup or waffle cone, and grab a pint for the road to eat in one sitting later at home." - Amy McCarthy

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by Tongue in Cheek in Richardson and wow—this spot nailed it. I went with their banana pudding ice cream in a waffle cone, and it was everything I hoped for and more. Creamy, rich, and packed with those nostalgic vanilla wafer chunks that make banana pudding what it is. The flavor was spot on—none of that fake banana taste you get in candies like Laffy Taffy. Just pure, legit banana pudding in ice cream form. Bonus points: they even had a pup-friendly treat for Blue 🐾

I would visit this location again when in the Richardson area. The ice cream sundae was delicious. The uniqueness of this location is that they make their own ice cream. The customer service and cleanliness of the location was appropriate to inviting guests. When taken, additional ice cream to go, it was packaged appropriately and it barely melted by the time I made it back to my residence.

Google
We found this place a couple years ago when we visit the area and we come back whenever we are in town! Flavors change but cappuccino crunch is 1 of my fav! I also like their lemon -Whatever it is. Prices are reasonable and it’s yummy! Cute little place with fun swings. Drive thru as well for ice cream! Always a treat to visit!

Google
Ordered the caramel crack milkshake and it took about five minutes at an empty line. Wasn't in a hurry though. Got it and it was not mixed well- all the caramel crack was at the bottom. Was sad, but then is fished it out of the cup with a spoon and ate it separately and oh... ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh! It was really good. I see why its called caramel CRACK because that stuff is my coke. Get milkshakes here

Google
Hands down the best ice cream I have ever had. And I've had a LOT of ice cream. Seriously good flavors, huge scoops, fun experience.

Google
My daughter mentioned they have a giveaway each day and they list random names to receive a free ice cream. My name was listed amongst others to receive a free ice cream that day, and so I went. The Peanut Butter Buckeye flavor was delicious! They have sorbet as well, which is a favorite of mine. I’ll be back!

Google
Nice little spot but first impressions could have been better. For one, the interior had no air conditioning in...an ice cream shop. I get the refrigeration being separate but depending on their system setup, the ice cream might be not holding proper temp over time. The other thing is there were several flies inside the lobby. I know things sometimes happen but I don't know man. The employee who took my order was pleasant and she promptly made my order. The milkshake and ice cream pint flavor was actually top tier. However between the price (very similar to competitors of similar quality), the first impression, and the longer distance compared to my usual spot, I probably won't return. If I lived closer maybe. As a one and done, justified. ✅✅✅

Google
Saw this ice cream in a magazine article showcasing unique local ice cream options. So glad we trekked all the way to Richardson to try it. The flavors we got were banana cream pie, raspberry chocolate chip, rocky road, cookies and cream, and key lime pie. Not one bit was left, we loved every bite. The line was long but moved quickly. I read reviews describing bad service; every ice cream or snow ball place I have ever been to has rude teenagers behind the counter so I expected rude teenagers at Tongue in Cheek. Frankly, they weren’t rude and they kept the operation moving efficiently. Interesting to read several reviews noting how quickly their ice cream melts. We can confirm this, but who cares? The flavor options were fantastic and every scoop we had was delicious. I wish there was a Dallas location as we are too lazy to routinely drive to Richardson for dessert. Glad we did tonight, though.

Yelp
This is the cutest ice cream shop AND it has a drive-thru! I've been twice and the flavors are so delicious. Here is what I ordered and how I would rate: - Lemon pie (8/10) - Strawberry (9/10) - Banana pudding (10/10) If you like banana pudding, definitely get that flavor. SO GOOD! :)

Yelp
Great prices and delicious ice cream! Open late so you can satisfy your sweet craving when Jack in the Box decides their shake machine is mysteriously broken. Drive thru was super fast and service was very friendly. I tried blueberry cheesecake and cookie dough. Both very good! Can't wait to try other flavors! Came back tonight to try the banana pudding and the butterfinger. My order was wrong so I went back because I was CRAVING butterfinger and had to have it. My order was corrected immediately! Thank you guys for being so wonderful!

Yelp
OMG! This place is an absolute gem for ice cream lovers. It easily beats out all those overpriced ice cream spots. The array of flavors is mind-blowing, and they nail it with the perfect portion size in each scoop. I treated myself to two scoops - Oreo and coffee flavored ice cream, all snugly nestled in a delightful waffle cone. I've been to other ice cream joints that charged a premium and skimped on serving size, so being treated right here was a welcome change. Even on a packed weekend, the wait wasn't too bad despite being maybe 10th in line, and I couldn't help but adore the indoor sway chairs. It's the little touches like these that make this place stand out. Hands down, the best spot for ice cream, and I can't wait to come back for more flavors and the cozy ambiance!

Yelp
My strawberry ice cream cone was very sweet but good. The service was fast and the interior had swings for seats. Great family place.

Yelp
Recently a friend tagged me on Tongue in Cheek's social media post. Apparently every day, they announce several names who are invited to come get a free scoop of ice cream. On this particular day "Andrea" was one of the names with a "winning golden ticket". I cruised through the drive thru. Honestly, a drive thru for ice cream doesn't seem like a good idea because people like me can't wait to dive in. Plan to park and go inside, or if you do the drive thru, buy pints to go, or simply plan to park as soon as you get your treat. The drive thru intercom wasn't working on that particular day, so I had to pull up to the window to see a copy of the menu and order. They have all of the standard flavors, but you can get some unusual, fun ones too. I really enjoyed the banana pudding ice cream I ordered, and I would get it again. It had chunks of goodness in it. The texture and flavor were both on point. I follow them on Facebook now, and love tagging others whose names get called for a free scoop of ice cream. It's the gift that keeps on giving, and who wouldn't want to be the hero for the day for announcing to friends that you won the daily name lotto for FREE ice cream?

Yelp
I had the banana pudding ice cream and found it to be amazing. In fact, I think it was the best ice cream I've ever had. It was creamy, flavorful but not so sweet your teeth hurt and I can't wait to go back and try some of their other flavors.
google avatar

Yelp
The service, the ice cream and the swings were so much fun! We enjoyed it very much! If we are ever in the area we will be sure to go back!

Yelp
We have been hearing about this place for quite some time, and we finally tried it. Wow!! The ice cream was amazing! My butter pecan was like none other ... besides the pecans, the ice cream had a special taste to it that I couldn't identify. It was delicious! My husband really enjoyed the Cadbury egg and the caramel crack. He loved both. There is an outdoor patio, and there is a big table in the middle of the restaurant with swings for seats. While we were there, we saw some kids enjoying it and before we left there was a group of young women enjoying their night out!
google avatar

Rabia S.

Yelp
solid local ice cream option After making it on the top 10 ice cream places in Dallas, and ice cream being my favorite dessert, we finally came here. It's a smaller space, but I like they added the swing seats as a fun option in the middle. The ice creams were a good variety, with their being some classics and some fun options. We got the blueberry cheesecake and the vanilla. They have a bigger size portion for a single scoop as well, so I appreciated that. Ice cream flavors were done very well, with nice graham crackers. It was creamy, and had a slight tart (yogurt?) aftertaste. To be honest, I don't know how I feel about that tart aftertaste. I will definitely be back to try it again
google avatar

Yelp
Pumpkin Brûlée It actually has that smokey caramel crust crunch just like a crème brûlée
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
love that this place is a local hub for people. They do the free scoop of the day if it's your name which is great and honestly the main reason that I go. WARNING: Ice cream is really sweet and one scoop is MORE than enough for me which is great because I know they aren't skimping out on the scoops. Service is pretty good, usually very busy and it's younger workers (high school maybe). I got the cappuccino crunch which was good but the next time I went I got the blackberry something which was a lot more enjoyable because the fruity flavor wasn't as sweet. Stick with the fruit based flavors in my opinion.
google avatar

Jordan P.

Yelp
They publish a daily list of first names. If your name is on the list, you get a free scoop that day! We went inside and discovered that they have the standard tables and for the long table, there are swings to sit on while eating ice cream - as if we were in a park. We'll, my name came up today so we visited the Arapaho Road location. Counter service was great but when Ku niece asked for an ingredients list due to her allergies, they could not produce one. But my wife ordered the a banana cream, my daughter the hatch butter pecan and I ordered the cookie. Utter. All were proclaimed delicious! They make their ice cream in house and the flavor rotation is great; there is always something different. We don't eat a lot of ice cream because it's so addictive but when we do, it's Tongue-in-Cheek. And mine was free!

Yelp
I have been here several times. It is pretty good but it is so sweet we can never finish what we order. Another thing to keep in mind is that there is not continuity between their locations and their website. If you call for clarity, the manager will tell you he's not sure what's going on. (Literally) lol So trying to have a family member, friend or co-worker pick up an order for everyone is nearly impossible if everyone is wanted to see the full menu. All in all, It's more trouble than it's worth. Even though my daughter still would request their ice cream occasionally, We eventually quit going because it started to cause stomach aches. I do not recommend.

Yelp
Back in town so I had to go visit this yummy ice cream place! We actually tried yesterday and the line was huge due to a company outing so we left. Since we walked over today, we weren't leaving empty handed, lol. Great flavors so you can sample. This time I got the lemon berry cake and it was scrumptious! I will be back over before I head out so town so you definitely want to give it a try! My aunt says there's always a line which is great for them! SYOY!

Yelp
We found this ice cream spot last summer and continued to come back for the ice cream at a very reasonable price. The things to like about this spot are: 1. Very creamy ice cream 2. Flavors that change often and some are crazy mixup. 3. They also have a drive through. Challenges include: 1. Tongue in Cheek is off the beaten path on Arapaho road in Richardson. 2. Not a lot of places to sit inside or outside. The best thing is that we have gone back for the delicious ice cream.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Food - 4 Service - 5 Value - 4 We came here a few months ago and the ice cream was good and we appreciated the non-diary options as well. Service was friendly and prompt. The interior had a playful decor to it that lent to the overall experience. I like the fact that the scoops are a little bit smaller which also means the cost is lower as well.

Yelp
Eh. Prefer Braum's, to be honest. None of us really enjoyed it. In fact, two of us actually just threw our cones away. I will give it another shot because I know it is a popular place. Maybe another flavor might change my mind? We'll see. If I ever return, I'll update review.

Yelp
Great startup story, good company to support with a great variety of options. Love that they added a drive-through also

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, but it was meh. Not really digging the ice cream or the drive-thru experience. We decided to place our order in the drive-thru. I wanted to try the Banana Pudding and Key Lime flavors. They informed us they were out of Key Lime, so I picked the Strawberry Pop Tart as my substitute. If they run out of a flavor, seems like it should be indicated on the menu. I had really wanted to try that flavor. Also, there seemed to be a bit of confusion in the communication when our order was taken and sure enough, in retrospect, we should have asked the young man who took the order to repeat it back. Ultimately, the two scoops in my order had only had one flavor right- the other flavor, I have no clue as to what it was; definitely wasn't the banana pudding I had ordered. My husband's order was correct. There was only one car ahead of us, but when it was our turn at the window, we had to wait for what seemed to be a longer than usual wait for just 4 scoops of ice cream. The teen working the window gave us a cold apology for the wait with no context as to what the wait was. In any case, we saw no less than 4 other teens walking around the serving area, so it didn't seem like they were understaffed. The ice cream itself was underwhelming. It was too sweet with not enough of a creamy flavor. When we got home, we placed it in the freezer for an hour and even then it seemed to melt rather swiftly. I had ordered the Strawberry Pop Tart flavor and the Banana Pudding. As previously mentioned, I did not receive my banana ice cream- instead, it was something that was kind of caramel-like with unidentifiable chewy things in it...was it toffee? I don't know. The Strawberry Pop Tart ice cream was too sweet and lacked a solid strawberry flavor. It had a hint of it, but it didn't really match with what my impression of a strawberry pop tart ice cream would be. I didn't even bother finishing it. The sweetness and almost artificial taste really turned me off. Based on the strength of the ice cream flavors we tried, I don't think we'll be returning anything soon. Also, there should be an adult overseeing this crew of teens and maybe instill a best-practice of repeating the order back, to lessen the likelihood of getting the wrong order.

Yelp
This place is genius. It was calling my name... LITERALLY. Hah If you follow them on social media, they'll give you free ice cream if your first name is listed for that day. "Judy" happened to be listed so I said why not. Of course, my husband and kids went too so I didn't just leave with free ice cream. My husband got a double with salted Caramel crunch and the cappuccino crunch! He enjoyed it while it lasted since he's lactose intolerant. #livinghisbestlife I thought the salted carmel was a little to salty, but again, that's just me. I got the cookies and cream and boyyy was it tasty! You just can't go wrong with cookies and cream and there was a good amount of cookie too.
google avatar

Emma K.

Yelp
We now live very close to Tongue and Cheek and I had to give them a second chance. They are wonderful, it's no longer a weigh and pay system, it's just charged by the scoop. The flavors I always get taste great! (Sweet cream, coconut, and the key lime was amazing as well) The service is normally great and they are so convenient with the drive through! I highly recommend getting a waffle cone.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
I am pretty picky about my ice cream places and I have to say- Tongue In Cheek Ice Cream is definitely the absolute best ice cream I have ever had! All of the flavors are homemade in-store, and you can TELL. I ordered the banana pudding flavor and omg it's amazing. Chunks of banana (but not too chunky) and pieces of nilla wafers all throughout the creamiest ice cream. It's not too sweet and the consistency is also perfect. OH ALSO- the portions are huge. The first time I went, I got a small cone, and it's basically the size of a large at other ice cream spots. This time I got the kids cone, and it was a great size, however, I did miss munching on their homemade cone which is not included in the kid's cone size. I am from Houston, so I don't frequent Dallas often, but when I do I make it a point to stop here no matter what area of Dallas I am staying in. Be sure to check this place out!!
google avatar

Kelsey R.

Yelp
Such a great ice cream option in North Dallas! They are doing taste samples again, which just makes it harder to decide which delicious flavor to try. Service has always been quick and polite and tables are cleaned quickly. One day I'll try the drive through, but I don't trust myself trying to eat ice cream in my car. Be sure to follow them on social media to get a free scoop if your name is drawn that day! Banana pudding and sweet cream are my favorites, but honestly, none that I've tried are bad. Definitely check it out if you're in the area, but it's also worth the drive!
google avatar

Manuel C.

Yelp
So one day my wife tells me that I get a free scoop, I never stopped coming back! This alone doesn't have to help with a 5 star review... their ice cream does that all by itself! The flavors are all totally better than most ice cream shops. And their fresh made cones!!! Do yourself a favor, in moderation of course... Visit Tongue & Cheek!

Yelp
New to Dallas and TIC was one of the first places my family and I ate indoors. In the last two weeks we've been there 3x already and the weekend has just gotten started! I love the ever-changing menu. Keeps it exciting. The teen staff hold the fort down with sweetness and sincerity. Great job by the hiring manager. Hands down, and most importantly, the quality of the ice cream is the best thing about this place as it should be. My best example is their cookies n' cream. My wife loves that flavor. I've had it so many times it's more vanilla than vanilla. But TIC's ice cream is so rich and so sweet. Undoubtedly the best cookies n' cream I've ever had. They've made me a fan again. But I can't wait to dive into some of the more crafty flavors. Hello bourbon bean, whiskey vanilla, and Jack n' Coke! It is very, very possible that we may never try another ice cream shop in the area because TIC's flavors play all the right notes on our palates. And God bless 'em - a "single" scoop for just $3.75 is more like the kids challenging themselves "how much can we pile in this little cup before it topples over?" They are awesome. The ice cream's awesome. This is our sweet tooth church. Amen!
google avatar

Yelper A.

Yelp
We visited this place during the Huffhines Pawtober fest recently. The ice cream is excellent. I'm a huge aficionado of ice cream and even worked in the industry for many years early on in my career. The staff not so much. Well to be specific. The lady taking our money was great and warm. But the guy who scooped our ice cream though was the opposite. It almost made me think this place's schtick was like Karen's Diner where they're purposely rude to you. For someone who runs your own business. Do better. I want to give you money, I really do. At least be courteous, it's not much to ask.
google avatar

Sarrang P.

Yelp
Cute icecream shop located in Richardson! Definitely reccomend trying this place out! I tried the salted caramel, coffee and heath, and the caramel crack icecreams. It was all very delicious!! The coffee had a TON of heath bar so if you like that, then it's a plus! I personally don't like too much so next time I might get just the regular coffee. The salted caramel was salty and savory and had a butterscotch taste. The caramel crack was pretty good too! The icecreams are handmade and very creamy! I met the owner a while back before he officially opened the store because he was a retired fireman / uber driving haha. Such a sweet guy and Definitely passionate about making great icecream! A great small local business to support! They even have event catering and a ice-cream truck for parties, weddings, corporate events, and more! Only complaint is that the icecreams melt easily but if you eat it fast its okay Its not too pricy compared to other icecream shops so its definitely worth going to!

Peter K.

Yelp
Great spot for ice cream. Stop here with friends every time I am in the area. I am partial to the Caramel Crack, Salted Caramel, and PB Buckeye Brownie flavors. Friends and I have always been given good service. Great place to relax. They even have swings inside...but you have to be fast. There are some seats outside as well.
google avatar

Kathy R.

Yelp
We love Tongue in Cheek! Great ice cream at a reasonable price. They have many unique flavors. I especially appreciate the wide variety of sorbet options. Don't sleep on mango sorbet. So good! My kiddo LOVES the swing chairs. It's a great family outing.
google avatar

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Swing set table was super cute, lots of dairy free options and friendly service. I got the lavender honey and it was amazing. Next time I come to town I'll make a stop here.
google avatar

Shawna F.

Yelp
Absolute DELIGHT! I was super super super happy with my icecream choice. I cannot wait to come back and try more flavors
google avatar

Shelly C.

Yelp
Delicious..:.Huge scoops and love the decor of the swing seats at the center table. It makes for a very family friendly place to get dessert.
google avatar

Pat S.

Yelp
All time award for decadent ice cream! And they deliver. Best cookies and cream of any brand, best chocolate, best chocolate fudge, but I always get several points of sweet cream with it's pure ice cream flavor. Excellent other flavors, but when I develop a favorite, it disappears, like peach and coffee Oreo. I get 6 or 7 pints at a time and savor them slowly. I liked the old ordering system better, when I could see the list at the window. Looking at the board in back just isn't the same. And minimizes interactions. And I wish tastes were back for their new flavors. But I'm not taking away any stars because the ice cream deserves all the stars it can get. I would love if they tried teaberry. I've only had it in Pennsylvania.
google avatar

Hannah S.

Yelp
I would definitely NOT recommend this place! It is expensive compared to other places, and the quality has definitely declined. The ice creams lack toppings and some are not solid. This place also use to be very generous with the portions. Now they are very cheap with the amount they give you...they even decreased the size of the cones. My cone wasn't even filled all the way down. Very disappointed.
google avatar

Goodness I.

Yelp
Might be my favorite ice cream place ever. Staff is very friendly, I've cream is 10/10, free samples. Option for people to put their name online to get free ice cream-although my name has never been picked
google avatar

Joseph B.

Yelp
Awesome spot! The banana cream pie is amazing. However if you buy one to surprise a friend it requires a lengthy text explaining it's origins. The pie has no label or marking. Does not have any seal showing it wasn't tampered with and didn't even come in a bag... I assured my friend it was from a legit ice cream store and was kept behind the counter un touched by anyone until sold. I still think he will enjoy it.
google avatar

James S.

Yelp
Love this place. Great idea by a retiring firefighter, as creating and manufacturing this many flavors takes someone with long practiced work ethic. These are a match for the best gelatos and Italian ices anywhere. I stop by anytime I am in north Richardson. Wish they still carried their most unique flavor, Lavender. It was a beautiful light purple, just icy enough, and the only purposely vegan thing I have loved. Felt like I was ingesting essential oils from a flower field in the Texas Hill Country. Every time I went to get it, the container was almost empty. Combining it with lemonade just tastes like lemonade. I wish they at least had it available in the hand packed pints, as I understand you want your current best sellers to occupy the top twenty-four serving slots. My second favorite flavor was the coconut.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
My favorite ice cream place ever! Creamy, but not sickening creamy with delicious and unique flavors. My favorites are the cookie dough and cookies and cream. My daughter LOVES the strawberry ice cream. I love that they do free scopes for the names of the day. They also give free scoop coupons to local schools to give to students as rewards. They really support their community, which in return brings them more business. They are a local treasure.
google avatar

Callie K.

Yelp
A spontaneous ice cream run on a rainy day turned into a delicious adventure and new obsession. For a couple of first timers, the sheer amount of flavors to choose from was a little overwhelming, but the employee working the drive thru made some excellent recommendations. I tried the chocolate salted caramel in a waffle cone and loved the balance between the two flavors and the freshness of the cone. The single scoop is massive and melts quickly, but these were not problems for me :) I also tried a few sips of the cookie dough milkshake and was pleasantly surprised to find that it tastes almost like a frosted sugar cookie... downright addicting. The drive thru took a little long but it was well worth the wait! We will be back and soon.
google avatar

Marcus M.

Yelp
All I can say about this place is amazingly good icecream! Everything I've tried here is good. I like the fact that they make their icecream fresh often, it makes for a creamier texture and not hard and stail tasting. One other thing that I love is that whatever flavor that they make that has toppings mixed in it is loaded with that topping! My favorite is chocolate cookies and cream and I'm not even a fan of chocolate. Also the portion sizes are huge for the waffle cone, so two scoops is a lot. Definitely a must try.
google avatar

De'Von G.

Yelp
Let me start off with two words...Best Ice Cream Ever!!! This place is so good. The staff is kind and polite.
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
OMG, any place that has a flavor called caramel crack is amazing in my books! From ice cream cakes to ice cream, everything is delicious. My husband got me a caramel crack ice cream cake for my birthday and it took us a month to finish. Follow them online and they have a name of the day, if you're such lucky person, you get a free scoop and their scoops are humungeous! Banana Pudding is my latest go to flavor, along with key lime pie, both seriously taste like the real thing. Oh and they do pints to go so you can never be without!
google avatar

Kimsua L.

Yelp
The BEST ice cream spot in all of DFW. I said what I said. I've tried at least 7 flavors (and counting) and each one is amazing!
google avatar

Joy M.

Yelp
What could be better than a beer flight? Ice cream flight!! 4 flavor options for only $6. Pretty sweet bargain I would say! The cup might seem small but our guy did a good job of overfilling it. $3.50 for a single scoop seems expensive but again our guy overfilled the cups. It was more like 1.5 scoop. It's not a bad price for quality homemade ice cream. All the flavors we sampled were great, don't think you can really go wrong. At first the ice cream didn't seem like it would be frozen enough but it was and has a nice chew. They probably have the most seating I've seen for just selling ice cream. The kids really enjoyed the sway swing. Would definitely come back and glad it's not close to home because I would frequent the place too often.
google avatar

Chad D.

Yelp
Friendly service. Tasty ice cream with a large selection of flavors and indoor swings! The kids love coming here.

Leslie B.

Yelp
It was an emergency. LOL Went to get egg nog flavored ice cream at grocery store - out. So - I tried Tongue in Cheek on the off chance that they would have some... they did and...OMG! The egg nog flavor was amazing and yes... I mixed it up with a little bourbon as I am a Southern girl! Wonderful and my holiday gathering was saved. I also picked up a pint of the Cinnamon Blondie flavor. Yass Queen!!! Fabulous. I returned another day to try another flavor - Key Lime Pie! It brought the sunshine to a dreary day. Oh - and very reasonable pricing for a quality ice cream. 2 pints for $12.00! I am now addicted and can't wait to try another flavor or two!! Mmmmmm...

Yelp
You have to be really good to get 5 stars from me as an ice cream shop and this place would get six stars or 10 Stars if I could give it to it. It is really that good and rose way above my expectations. I have been seeing this relatively new ice cream shop when I would drive past it for several weeks now. Ice cream is my weakness and I definitely have my favorite places so my expectations were probably about as high as they can be when I decided to try this place and walked in for the first time. I got a little nervous when the flavors went Way Beyond the the basics. Don't get me wrong they have chocolate vanilla and strawberry but then they also have some amazing other flavor varieties. One of those other flavor varieties caught my eye and I decided to try it. The flavor I am mentioning is apple caramel crumble ice cream. Oh my gosh it might be one of the best ice creams I have ever tasted. It was so good on the little tasting spoon that I could only imagine what it was going to taste like on a waffle cone, so there was no way I could not order that as my flavor today. It was absolutely amazing. It had all the flavor distinctions mentioned in its name without being too sweet or any one of the flavors overwhelming any of the other flavors. Well done tongue-in-cheek ice cream!

Yelp
What a great experience...staff great...food amazing....supporting retired first responders owned business. It has been incredibly hot here in Texas...amazing ice cream keeps us all from going insane. Did you know that ice cream can also help tackle holiday stress even in the winter time...it doesn't matter if you're a local or here from out of town. Turn on your gps find this place an enjoy it today...bring the kids, grandkid or date night...just do it. The atmosphere is very cool...you'll see when you get there!!

Yelp
Service is always good here, and the ice cream is consistent every visit. Definitely recommend the coconut cream, and mango sorbet

Yelp
One of the few places that offers plant based options for shakes. Got trapped in the drive-thru for about 40 minutes. Took an additional 20 minutes after I ordered to receive the 2 shakes. Maybe I caught them on an evening (845pm Saturday) where they had a lot of issues (broken drive thru speaker, credit card reader died a broken blender and broken dreams), however the consistency and taste of the almost $10 shakes was very off. They said the blender broke but I more believe they forget about me and it started to warm and get super watery. My body and soul told me that they forgot it was supposed to be plant based judging by the evening of lactose intolerant behavior after. Another review mentioned that there are a ton of kids working and i would tend to agree that if there is indeed a lack of supervision, that contributed to the problem. They gave coupons for a free scoop next time but fool me once; that milkshake will bring no one to the yard. The flavor of the chocolate soup was only ok, the gas was nebulous, and I have a feeling that long waits and no contingency for their logistical issues after being in business this long is probably par for the course. Why would the drive thru for an ice cream place ever take an hour? There's no hot food. I'm willing to drive for good vegan but I don't think there was anything particularly special to warrant the wait or the price. They don't deserve one star; perhaps they are better when all the equipment works and they work out all their logistical issues but the fact is paying those prices for that level of quality is a little insane.
