TONITO Latin American Kitchen @ Jewel

Good place for casual lunch. All seat can see famous Jewel water fall and quite spacious. Food wise , menu was quite compact…better have more choice. everything was quite safe , ceviche was not the same taste I try many place but others were quite okay. Service staff there ( short and black hair lady ) was really helpful.

Service is good but the food taste sucks. Seafood paella portion is small and first time they served the rice still a bit raw. Feedback to The staff and they changed the new one for us. The second seafood paella taste a bit off but we didn’t feedback again. The fried basket snacks taste very normal and some of the fried items are soggy. The buffalo chicken wings also never marinated well. The best food is the quasadilla , the cheese melted with the chicken . Staff very friendly but with this price and this food quality , definitely not worth for second visit . Additionally, inner environment is a bit hot .

The price is a bit steep for the quality and food served if there’s no discount. The taste is alright. Except the chicken stew seems to have been warmed up from the fridge but not warmed through. Some of the ingredients like potato was still cold in the Center. Hmm… prawn pasta was interesting different from the Italian style. I think this was the best dish we ordered. Generally the mains are all low on the veggies. Not very balanced meals. In general the taste is more rich and creamy style we feel. When they meant spicy, I think it’s more of spiced than like hot chili spicy. We didn’t really find it spicy like Indian or Thai food. The music is rather loud and kind of drowns the conversation and everything but I suppose they are trying to mimic a Mexican bar atmosphere? I guess if you want something different from the usual you can try this but on the higher pricing.

Food was good but insanely expensive for the portion that was given. We ordered the wings, beef burrito and paella. The wings were nice and saucy but were not spicy at all and the $32 paella was barely enough to feed one person. The beef burritos were nice and filling and definitely worth the $20 price tag (although the “special tomato sauce” was most definitely just pizza sauce from a jar). Would recommend ordering everything to share. If you’re lucky enough to get seats in the back the view of the waterfall is absolutely entrancing. The waiters were also pleasant and food was delivered in a timely manner. Overall, a very decent restaurant for a date at Jewel.

Extremely good service! Food is quite good too, but portion not big. Got one for one entertainer for main courses. Really enjoyed the salmon Nikkei, the pork quesadilla and the pork jowl. Both fish main course were well done too! They were v kind to plate our desserts from outside so nicely!

Good food and good atmosphere. Had the prawn and clam pasta as well as the Portobello mushroom pasta. Largely positive but noted a few small bits of shell in the prawn pasta. Service was very good and efficient. Was served by Erica who made sure to check that we didn't have any food allergies, and was just very fast overall.

We are pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. We had the chicken quesadilla, prawn paella, and potato bravas. The prawn paella is flavourful and comes with a touch of 'wok-hey'. The prawns are delicious and come with a grilled texture. It will have been better if the portion is slightly bigger. We also enjoyed the quesadilla and the cheese is great. Potato bravas is a touch normal as compared to the other dishes. Service wise, the staff are great. There's some paper sheet for the kids to doddle. Halfway thru my meal, I realised that the staff had positioned the child seat to be facing the TV with Cartoon Network showing. Great touch by them!

Service in Tonito has always been fantastic. The staff always ensures that we have a comfortable seating arrangement for the family. Food has been always consistent & our favourite is the Arroz Con Mariscos. The creamy texture with seafood is a hit with the kids. The Pescado Ala Plancha was excellent and the seabass was fresh. Not overcooked and flaky.
