What To Eat At Jewel Changi Airport

"A new family-friendly Latin-American concept by chef Daniel Chavez aims to introduce cuisines from countries such as Mexico, Brazil and Cuba, with sandwiches like Pan Chon Chorizo (a chorizo sandwich with sweet potato strips), Pan con Chicharron (pork belly sandwich) and anticucho skewers with chimichurri, alongside tacos and quesadillas. Initially skeptical about an airport venue, Chavez saw the potential to reach a wider audience and secured a prime vantage point of the Rain Vortex; the cheerful space pops with bright colours and a visually-arresting row of animal figurines lining the counter, serving as a platform to showcase Latin American culture beyond Tex-Mex." - Kenneth Goh

5 exciting bars at Jewel Changi Airport to bookend your Singapore vacation - SilverKris

"A lively Latin American kitchen that mixes Mexican, Peruvian and Argentinian influences, this restaurant serves bold flavours alongside a diverse cocktail programme. Expect classics like margaritas alongside regional specials such as the Peruvian chilcanito (pisco, lime and ginger ale) and Uruguay’s clericot de fruitas; for heat, try the original Spicy Pinarita—Jose Cuervo, Cointreau, pineapple, sweet‑and‑sour and green habanero. For atmosphere, request a table toward the back where lush plants and the cool mist from the waterfall create a rainforest‑like setting." - Ben Chin

At a time when it's tough for F&Bs in Singapore, I am happy and relieved to know that Tonito has not jumped the shark. I rather pay for a great experience and good food than something subpar. This is the third time I've had a meal at Tonito. This review is was the second time I was celebrating my birthday there in late December 2025, and it was even more enjoyable than the previous time I visited the restaurant. Set against Jewel Chang's vortex and lush Shiseido Forest Valley, the restaurant gives a calm atmosphere. Service that day was really good, with enough information for us to decide on our lunch choices. I ordered the Pescado Ala Planc, and the barramundi was cooked just right and paired deliciously with the sauce. We also tried a different side dish this time - the Elote, and we were all over it and couldn't stop because of the mix of the charred corn and its accompaniment was addictive. Generally, I found Tonito's chefs were able to let the natural flavours of the ingredients come through and that made me want to come back again to try their other offerings. Keep it up, Tonito team!!!

The food was absolutely amazing. Hands down my favourite latin restaurant, the quesadilla, paella, cocktails, mocktails, and the Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious the chicken was juicy and tender the cheese added another another level to the quesadilla. The quesadilla here is my favourite one I have ever eaten. It's amazing with the onion, mayo, chicken and cheese best combination you'll ever find. Highly recommended for those would love to find authentic Latin cuisine, with good quality food. There is also kids menu with drinks and desserts, even entertainment for them. This restaurant is absolutely amazing located in jewel level 2 is you're in jewel you absolutely have to visit it.

Tonito is beside the Rain Vortex, nice view. Vibes also chill and nice. We had the barramundi which was good. The prawn pasta was also tasty. So was the pork jowl rice. The mushroom pasta could have been more flavourful. The staff was friendly and nice.

Stopped by Tonito for a quick bite before travelling. Service was fast and efficient, which was much appreciated. The views of the lush greenery and the sound of the vortex fountain created a very relaxing ambiance. No complains on the food too. The risotto was creamy, well-seasoned, and tasted great. The barramundi was perfectly cooked, and I especially enjoyed the cauliflower purée. Portions are a little small for the price, but overall it was a very enjoyable meal.

What a gem of a restaurant! I tried their prawn salad and it was meticulously prepared—juicy prawns cooked to perfection, fresh romaine lettuce, and the sweet-savory crunchy bits with pomegranate arils added a wonderful layer of flavor. The iced coffee was silky and well-balanced, a perfect complement to the salad. The ambiance is cozy and the staff are attentive; this place has become my new go-to in the area!

Wonderful dinner. Service was excellent — attentive, friendly & well-paced, which made the meal very pleasant Had several of the chef’s recommendations, including the Mariachi, Taco Beef & Ceviche & they were all good, with bold yet approachable flavours that are easy to enjoy 😋 The restaurant has a lively, colourful atmosphere that fits its Latin American theme well & the Jewel location is a big plus, especially seated near the Rain Vortex KrisPay gets a 10% discount 😁

Nice views of the vortex and lush greenery of Jewel. It’s a great backdrop for photos, but unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to expectations. My wife and I made the trip to Jewel specifically to dine here and left hugely disappointed. We actually cut our meal short and went elsewhere for dinner. We’re big fans of Mexican and Latin American food, but this just wasn’t it. The first red flag was the tortillas. I’ve never seen ones like that used for tacos. If you’re not expecting authenticity, it might be acceptable, but the food felt more like what you’d get from a Western stall in a hawker center. Western-ish, but not quite the real thing. The same goes here: Latin American / Mexican-ish, but not authentic. The cocktails were also weak and overly sweet. Overall, a miss for us. We won’t be going back.

Had a delicious lunch while meeting a friend. We were rarely interrupted by the attentive staff. I also enjoy the ambience with the Jewel indoor waterfall in our view at all times. The trick to an enjoyable time is in asking and given a seat near the waterfall 😊
