The best tonkatsu we had in Japan! A delightfully crunchy exterior, with the most succulent cut of pork. The chef was fantastic and accommodating, and helped us pick out a cut we would enjoy best - and he was spot on!
You must try with salt first, then tonkatsu sauce, then mustard. And for those adventurous, double dip the tonkatsu and mustard for the most flavoursome bite!
We waited around an hour in the queue, and received the final seating. We weren’t rushed out, but were encouraged to savour every bite.
This is a place I will most definitely come to again.
(I started eating before I took the photo - it was way too good to wait).
