Popular Ramen Chain Moves into Battersea Power Station | Eater London

"Founded in 2013 by Emma Reynolds and Ken Yamada as an offshoot of the now-closed Tsuru, this popular ramen chain has been a staple for London diners since ramen became a breakout trend. It serves classic ramen alongside familiar sides such as fried chicken and gyoza, with a devoted following for its cult chilli oil. The group is expanding again with a new site at Circus West in Battersea (its seventh overall and sixth in London), opening with a 50% off soft-launch on 16–17 February. With a strong presence across multiple London sites and one in Birmingham, the expansion reads as a strategic play to maintain ubiquity amid rising quality competition from operators like Kanada-Ya and Ippudo." - James Hansen

I Visited Tonkotsu Battersea with my family and had a fantastic experience. The food was great, but what truly made our visit special was the service from RUSHIKA. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional throughout our meal. Her positive attitude and genuine care made us feel so welcome. It's rare to come across someone who goes above and beyond like she did ,she's truly an asset to the team. I hope the management recognises her excellent work. We'll definitely be coming back

Rashika was ✨Amazing✨. Would return again to have her as our waitress. Food was great and atmosphere was a nice vibe. I had the tonkatsu ramen and my friends had the new teriyaki pulled pork ramen. No complaints. My friend even got the bowl with the golden bottom so it was free! Great experience all around.

Wonderful tasty food, we always come back here when at Battersea Power Station. Love the £10 lunch deal. And fantastic kids menu! Our server Rushika was so warm and friendly and helpful.

First time here…. From the welcome to the service I thought it was going to be good. Then we had the food - blown away with the depth of flavour. A unique experience that is going to make sure I come back again and again. What then shocked me was the price - I was expecting it to be twice as much. For authentic , freshly cooked and amazing flavours that you can tell is cooked with passion - 5* every day of the week

I had a fantastic experience at this ramen restaurant. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure everything went smoothly throughout my visit. The ramen itself was excellent – rich, flavorful broth with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh toppings. Portions were generous, and considering the quality, the prices were very reasonable. It’s not often you find a place that balances great food, friendly service, and good value so well. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, satisfying ramen.

Walked in on a Wednesday afternoon, so not very busy, but was seated and given a menu immediately. Server was friendly and allowed me to get the mashed scotch bonnet to add some kick to my lunch menu ramen (smaller bowl but filling). If you like spicy ramen, definitely swing by!

Google
Great food and service. We didn’t think it took too long but there were a couple of people who took theirs as a takeaway… only my opinion but make it clear when you rock up or go for fast food if you have a time limit! Anyway the boys had Tonkotsu Ramen, said it was out of this world! Sakshi served us, fab! Even my fussy 15 year old daughter was able to have the kids meal, that’s amazing for us as it was perf For her!

Google
always good option around this area. We Chinese do need some hot soup noodle for starting the day. Sakshi gives us a warm welcome and help for choosing the food. Many thanks. Will definitely visit again.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday night with the family without a reservation and had to sit outside. They do have heaters but it still got pretty chilly. We had the pot stickers, Kimchi, bento box, Tonkotsu and I had the spicy one but forgot what it was called. Although it wasn't the best we have ever eaten it was still pretty good on a cold night! I'd come back and probably get the exact same thing! The reviews for this place are old and few. I think they've improved their service and product from 3+ years ago. Cheers!

Yelp
I spent the end of my London trip with a cousin that lives in Battersea. As it was getting a bit chillier and got an urge to diversify the food palette, I started craving more Asian food, especially Ramen. Located in the nice, new, and airy Battersea, this location isn't necessarily large, but has a nice outdoor patio that makes it perfect for a spring/summer/fall dinner with friends/family. Since vegetarian ramen isn't always prevalent in the US, I was delighted to find the chili tofu ramen available. As it was dinner, I settled for the large size and was surprised by the quantity I received. The vegan broth was quite tasty and the tofu was soft in the inside, but seasoned and crispy on the exterior. It was a perfect combination. The only regret was not finishing it all. Perhaps ramen aficionados may disagree that this is a great spot for ramen, but I think it does the job if you are in the area and don't want to go to Wagamama. I'd recommend for sure!

Yelp
Has the capacity to make 20 bowls of ramen an hour, but has seating for 50 people. Prepare to wait a long time when busy. Tries to offer multiple broths, all of which are poor. A ramen shop of this size should specialise. Soup was weak and barely covered the noodles. Pork has little taste. Hope you like salt, that's the only thing you'll taste here.

Yelp
Having been to another location, I was excited to try this new spot. Coming during the seafood festival we were happy to get an outdoor seat and dive into the large menu. The special was Clam Ramen but the waiter didn't do a good job of selling it with only clams and green onions at £15, the highest priced bowl, I went for the Seafood Ramen option instead. My dish came with lots of toppings, a bit too much wakame, half an egg, bamboo shoots, half a soft shell crab, crab meat filling and tiny fried prawns. Toppings were good except the crab meat was quite fishy so I skipped most of it and what was advertised as prawn tempura was misleading. They were tiny prawns rather than the long prawn tempura you normally get. My friend remarked that their noodles did not taste freshly made, as their menu stated. It lacks the normal egg yolk taste and was slightly bland. The broth was lighter but served the seafood well. Service was okay, thankfully we had other servers after our first. Hopefully with a bit more improvement this location can grow into a good spot for ramen in this area.

Yelp
Not the worst not the best. The broth is very simple a little flavorless. Not a bad spot to sit very small but a nice restueant
