Food is bomb! Been there 2 times on 2 weeks. Had the Fat Tony sub with pepper jack and cheese whiz the first time. One of the best Phillys I've ever had! Just had the Don Pepe pizza which I couldn't help but get a bite of before the pic! Super good! Sauce is very unique! Also got the Beast Fries which were so good! 10/10!

First time at Tono. Ordering at the counter was fast and easy with a tablet. Food came out fast and was delicious. Nice selection of sauces to add on, we liked the hot honey and balsamic.

Great food and fun casual atmosphere. The place is usually bustling but we always find a table. The pizzas come in creative and delicious combinations and they have hot honey, balsamic glaze and hot oil at the ready. The cheesesteaks are fantastic as well. You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. It’s in a cool area where you can check out the fun antique shops while you’re there.

I tried the cheesesteak thinking it was gonna be a hit, but it was just mediocre. The sub is too greasy, lacking the flavor, and the cheese was almost nonexistent. I will have to try again another time and maybe give the pizzas a shot in case I’m missing out.

This was our first experience at Tono and we were pleasantly surprise:) the large Caesar salad was enough for 3 of us and we had some left over still. The cheesecake was as big as my head, definitely going to have leftovers. The truffle fries were tasty and the pizza was pretty good too. The Spicy Tono and the regular pepperoni pizza look pretty much the same but the taste was the tell. The spicy is less spicy than you’d expect. The price wasn’t too bad either. Our family of 4 ate for around $80 bucks. The volume inside the restaurant was rather loud and busy… it was during peak hours soooo they get a pass on that

I've been driving by Tono's for years and finally decided to try them out for take out. We got 3 different cheese steak sandwiches and were very pleased. My son got the Phat, I had the mushroom and my husband had the Jersey. My son gobbled his up and then ate half of mine. I was happy the fries were still crispy by the time they got home (although we're only a few minutes away). The really delicious item was the burrata salad. It comes with olive oil, a thick balsamic sauce and hot honey in small containers to pour on at home. Great combination of flavors. I would totally go again just for the salad.

I’ve now ordered twice from Tono’s because the bread on the sandwich is not what you get anywhere else (shhhh I’m supposed to be on a diet), the bacon is like the crispiest even when delivered, and they don’t ever charge extra for gluten free (which is what my celiac husband has to order and never been sick!) My husband used to work for NIAF and he says this is the closest thing he’s had to a “real East Coast pizza” since being diagnosed with celiac years ago. We will keep ordering!

We’ve started to go here weekly since we’ve had such positive experiences. The staff is super friendly and it’s just a very well run and organized pizza shop. Food is good too! The salads are large and the pizzas are delicious. We haven’t had the cheese steaks yet but I’m sure we’ll try them soon.

Yelp
Door dashed so I can't comment on storefront. Orders simple sausage pizza and Italian salad. Pizza crust was so tasty and soft. Sausage was very flavorful. Salad was fresh greens and tomatoes and sliced mozzarella. Simple but very fresh. My error was putting too much oil/vinegar dressing as it was too seasoned. I would order again, different dressing

Yelp
Finally made it in for their "Tono's Tuesdays" BOGO pizza & 2 drinks deal. This location is a pretty small one on the corner of a busy area so parking can be rough. The staff was all really friendly and helpful. It seems like mainly a spot for takeout and it gets really crowded after work with people waiting for their pizza and kids hangin out after school. Especially on deal days like Tuesday. We got 2 pizzas (cheese and margherita), plus a side of fries. The friest were what you'd expect. Nothing amazing but they. hit the spot. The pizza itself was solid for the price. I think the deck could be a bit hotter to crisp up the bottom but overall the charring was good. The dough was nicely chewy and had some, but not a ton of, flavor. The sauce is nice and bright and they used a decent low moisture mozzarella. For $22 all in you can't fault it. I can see this being a great, affordable spot for families. If it was full price don't know if I'd be back any time soon but not mad I went at all.

Yelp
I love tono so much Honestly it's great! Awesome local business that supports local community/causes. Their food is always fresh, made to order and made with high quality ingredients. All of the staff, at every location is incredibly friendly! This is definitely fast causal, come for a date, catch up with friends, family dinner or dine in alone!

Yelp
GREAT! Stop in for their "Tono's Tuesdays"! I walked a few blocks from 50th and France, but there is also street parking available. There was no line around 6:50 and we easily got a table. On this trip, I ended up getting two for myself and brought one of the pizza's home. The crust was a bigger than other Tono locations, but they have a variety of sauces for dipping!! I tried their new featured pizza - Honey Tender. I fell in love with this pizza, if they keep it on the menu it will be my regular order.

Yelp
I've been to a bunch of Tono locations lately and am always a satisfied customer. I think I'm not that big of a fan of cheesesteaks in general, but this is awesome pizza. It's made Sicilian-style, which is distinct from Neopolitan pizza (a la Punch) in that, although it is thin and flash-baked, the crust has a slight crispiness and is a little more holdable. They are also slightly larger than you get at Punch; one pizza is too much for most people (although it's tasty enough that you'll maybe want a whole one for yourself anyway). In addition to the typical build-your-own pizza option, they have some inventive concoctions, including some white pizzas that are very tasty. The Michelangelo uses a pistachio cream sauce which is really cool! Now that I'm typing it I guess that sounds weird, but it's surprisingly not weird. They like to incorporate hot honey in many of their pizzas which makes for a very distinct experience that I really like. This location feels very neighborhood-y, thanks in part to the friendliness of the staff. They also have a BOGO deal on Tuesdays if you order in, and that is a really good deal. I came once on a Tuesday expecting to order two pizzas anyway and not realizing they'd be under twenty bucks including two drinks, so I definitely recommend a Tuesday visit!

Yelp
The food at Tono is always so good. I'm always torn between pizza or cheesesteak because they are both so good. When I get pizza I usually just get a regular cheese pizza and I grab garlic aoli to dip my pizza in also the hot honey! I have also tried a few of the other pizzas & I've never had one that wasn't good. If I get cheesesteak I get the Phat Tony - no bacon, chicken for protein, cheese whiz - for sure my fav! It is pricy but always worth it in my opinion. I love that they have meal deals and specials going on. This location has 2 kiosk where you can place your order for dine in or takeout or you can order at the counter. The staff are nice. The dining area is always clean. There's almost always street parking out front or on the side, even across the street. The tricky part is getting to the side of the street the restaurant is on as you can't turn left during certain times of the day (coming from the 50th & France direction).

Yelp
My wife and I were out on our new lunch restaurant Saturday and Tono's opened recently near 50th and France. Had a nice pizza place feel, but no beer signs, Uh oh! I ordered the basic Philly Cheese steak with whiz and my wife got the marinara with no olive oil and 1/2 cheese, since she knew we would be bringing half home. We did, as did I with the Sub. Lots of goodness in great size portions, for a reasonable price. The cheese was put on pleasantly and I think I got her share on the cheese on my side. Nice! The fries that came with the sandwich were unbelievable, great crunch and seasoning and your choice of free dips. My favorite was the ranch. Delish! I was going to give it four stars since they didn't have beer on the menu, but it could be a liquor license thing, so I did not ding them on that. The steak was perfect on the sandwich and the roll was crispy, yet chewy, perfect. The pizza crust was wonderful, kind of like Punch Pizza and the sauce could have used a little more heat, but maybe they don't want to chase the Midwesterners away. Get some beer available and you have a true 5 star! (Our order did have to be translated to the dude at the counter taking our order, Just sayin')

Yelp
So glad to have Tono in town! The pizzas are fantastic -- my new favorite is the Don Carlo: pepperoni, buratta, hot honey and basil! A fantastic combo in my book. The pepperoni is crispy, buratta creamy, and crust is tasty. One request: Please add an option to select dipping sauces while online ordering/delivery platforms. This is the best part and is what makes Tono special.

Yelp
I want to love this place... but my experience missed the mark. Like other reviewers have mentioned, cleanliness is a major issue. When I visited, the dining area was messy--crumbs and napkins scattered across the floor and some tables. It was off-putting enough that I didn't even bother checking out the restroom. My biggest complaint? The drinks. Both the soda and the flavored teas tasted completely watered down--as in no flavor at all. I honestly thought the machine was broken. Gave it another shot on a second visit, but the drinks were still just as disappointing. Foolery! The only saving grace was the cheesesteak sandwich--it was actually pretty good. Everything else felt mediocre at best. Really wanted to enjoy this place because the owners are very cool and driven people, but they've got some work to improve or keep their standards up.

Yelp
Awful experience. I ordered delivery through the Yelp app. The restaurant accepted the order, but they didn't put in that the order was done or being delivered. In fact, it STILL says it's being prepared, after I contacted management about it. The problem with me not being able to track the order is that I didn't know it was delivered. It sat outside for god knows how long--I'm guessing 45 minutes. I just kept checking the app. So my pizza was ice cold and my lunch break was over. Now the worst part? When the manager found out, he texted an apology and said "I would love for you to come back and try us again!" WTF? Can you imagine? They didn't offer to make it right. They just asked for more of my money. I will never give them business again.

Yelp
Wow, in every regard this place is A++++. The staff was just absolute top notch in every regard, the pizza was made fresh right in front of me, and the chicken philly cheesesteak was just perfect. If they had six stars for my review, I'd happily give Tono's six stars.

Yelp
OVER PRICED PIZZA (cheese bread) +$2 for each extra topping i.e. extra onions +$2 Hot honey +$2 Chili oil +$2 jalapeños +$2 Tomato +$2 Green pepper +$2 Mushrooms +$2 Garlic +$2 Olives +$2 By the time you dial in the pizza to what you like - it's a $30.00 for a 12" pizza with taxes. The sad thing is, the first time it was actually good and the second time NOT good. save your pennies, buy Frozen!!! ( 2 / $10 ) and what's up with this "order online only" it's like they don't even wanna talk to you but happy to take all your money Won't be back.

Yelp
Great wood fired pizzas with quick service in a neighborhood setting. Was there on Friday night and it was humming with couples, families, and friend groups. Had the Don Carlos - delish flavor and not heavy. Will definitely be back - salads looked great too.

Yelp
A nice, place to eat with friends. Service was fast and environment was clean. The food was very delicious.

Julie G.

Yelp
Tonos is just fantastic! A great corner pizza feel and a welcomed addition to our neighborhood. The fire roasted pizza is terrific at a wonderful price point. Welcome Tonos!

McKenna L.

Yelp
The service was fine, so shoutout to the high schoolers working behind the counter. However, the food was god awful. The fact that they call this pizza is a disgrace to Italians everywhere. There are so many great pizza spots in the neighborhood to go to. Opt for pizzeria Lola or Rosalia. This place has got to go! Food is just bland and so, so, so greasy. Like disgustingly greasy. The sauce was super sweet too. Just overall BAD!

Yelp
Ordered takeout. Pizza is all fresh ingredients and the crust is perfection. Cheesesteak and fries were delicious. A great addition to the neighborhood.

Yelp
Interesting but focused menu. Food was delicious, serving portions plentiful. Good ambiance, fast service. A little confusing at the kiosk, but you'll figure it out. Definitely going back

Kory B.

Yelp
Straight forward Philly cheesesteaks that have a lot of flavor. I added extra steak and extra cheese. We also had a birria pizza. Flavor beats ambiance and music any day for me!

Jeff L.

Yelp
Great wood fired pizza- just plain, but damn good! Ingredients- sauce, meats , crust were perfectly balanced. Will definitely order again. Great to have a pizzeria like this just blocks away. Anyone can see my history of reviews- generally blow hot or cold - very few in between. This is a genuine home run.

Mary H.

Yelp
Maybe just because we had to do take out, but this was not good. I don't know what salad my husband ordered but what I thought were chopped olives were blackened bits of something (prosciutto?). Had the sausage and pepperoni pizza. Crust was rubbery and almost unchewable. Sausage had an odd taste. My husband said his cheesesteak was "ok" but it was like no Philly cheesesteak I've ever had (we have friends in Philly). It had almost no cheese and the meat was tough. I also don't know how you ruin fries but they were tough as well.

Michael L.

Yelp
Cheesesteaks are fabulous!!! Pizza is ok. Interior needs to be kept up/picked up and wiped down. Dinning room is normally a mess. To many workers just standing around. Place could be outstanding. Just so so now.
