I tried the cheesesteak thinking it was gonna be a hit, but it was just mediocre. The sub is too greasy, lacking the flavor, and the cheese was almost nonexistent. I will have to try again another time and maybe give the pizzas a shot in case I’m missing out.

Great food and fun casual atmosphere. The place is usually bustling but we always find a table. The pizzas come in creative and delicious combinations and they have hot honey, balsamic glaze and hot oil at the ready. The cheesesteaks are fantastic as well. You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. It’s in a cool area where you can check out the fun antique shops while you’re there.

I’ve now ordered twice from Tono’s because the bread on the sandwich is not what you get anywhere else (shhhh I’m supposed to be on a diet), the bacon is like the crispiest even when delivered, and they don’t ever charge extra for gluten free (which is what my celiac husband has to order and never been sick!) My husband used to work for NIAF and he says this is the closest thing he’s had to a “real East Coast pizza” since being diagnosed with celiac years ago. We will keep ordering!

This was our first experience at Tono and we were pleasantly surprise:) the large Caesar salad was enough for 3 of us and we had some left over still. The cheesecake was as big as my head, definitely going to have leftovers. The truffle fries were tasty and the pizza was pretty good too. The Spicy Tono and the regular pepperoni pizza look pretty much the same but the taste was the tell. The spicy is less spicy than you’d expect. The price wasn’t too bad either. Our family of 4 ate for around $80 bucks. The volume inside the restaurant was rather loud and busy… it was during peak hours soooo they get a pass on that

Did a pick up order, our first time trying the food. Great friendly fast service! Delicious pizza!

The pizza is definitely very stuffed, not the thin style. The flavors are great 7.8/10! We ordered the Tono and the Pesto Chicken. The only downside was the Pesto Chicken — it didn’t have much pesto flavor, which was a bit disappointing. But overall, it’s a great value for the price. We waited about 15–20 minutes for our pizzas. We came around 4:30pm, and although there weren’t many people dining in, the wait was still a bit long not sure why. Still, worth to try!

The moment we started taking our order, Dre the manager went above and beyond to make our experience great. Very impressive. Dre made us aware about a BOGO special they were holding and showed us appreciation for choosing them. The food is AMAZING and the positive vibe was enough to keep us coming back as regular customers. Thank you Dre!

Was craving the Don Pepe, so made my way over to SW Mpls to appease the craving. Had the pleasure of meeting GM, Dre and her other manager, Austin who whipped me up this delicious pizza! Looking forward to many more visits in the future, to continue enjoying my new favorite pizza and pizzeria!
